As Tommy sat on the sofa in the living-room with Regina, Sam, Timmy and Lindsey, and watched TV with them, he slowly started to feel safe again. In fact, the environment felt so comfortable, he could've fallen asleep right then and there. Maybe if he did, he would wake up and find the world as it had been this morning.

This morning?

Was it a mere 16 or 17 hours since he had left home for school? It seemed like he had lived three lifetimes since then. And yet, despite what had happened tonight at his house, none of this felt real to him. It felt more like he was reading a book or watching a movie or having another nightmare. But no. No, this was not a book...or a movie...or another one of his nightmares he could simply wake up from. This was the nightmare of reality.

A nightmare that poor Laurie and Lindsey just so happened to get caught up in by being at his house this particular night. Lindsey would likely bounce back from this sort of thing, as she believed that the Boogyman was real like he did. But Laurie was a different story. Laurie didn't he believe in the Boogyman until he revealed himself to her tonight. It would probably take her years to absorb this truth and a lifetime to ponder it.

Poor Laurie.

The sound of loud banging brought Tommy out of his thoughts and he realized that it was coming from outside on the front door.

"TIMMY! TIMMY! TIMMY! TIMMY, OPEN THE DOOR! TIMMY! TIMMY!" Came the screaming voice of Logan on the other side of the door as he banged on it.

Tommy and the others got up from the sofa and ran into the foyer up to the front door where Timmy un-locked and opened it, allowing Logan to rush inside, followed by Timmy closing the door back and re-locking it.

Logan wore a red long sleeve button-up pajama shirt, red pajama pants, white socks, and black house-shoes. "Where's Lynda, Tommy?! Where's Lynda?!"

"What's going on? What's happening?" Timmy asked.

"Hurry! Call the cops! Before he comes for us all!" Logan said frantically.

"You're starting to scare me, Logan, now what's going on?" Timmy asked.

No sooner than Timmy said that, a fist came through the door with a long blue sleeve on.

"AAHH!" Tommy, Logan, Lindsey and Timmy screamed.

"You kids go upstairs! Now!" Regina said.

Logan, Lindsey and Timmy rushed up the stairs as the door was ripped off. The first withdrew itself from the hole in the door, followed by it being tossed aside, revealing the Boogyman, who was wielding a new knife in his right hand. Also, he was a lot bigger than the last time Tommy had seen him. He was now 6-feet/8-inches tall. Bigger than most grown men and appeared to be muscular. He was practically a giant now. His clothes and shoes had even grown to fit his new size.

"Tommy, go! Now!" Sam said.

Tommy did as he was told and rushed up the stairs, leaving Regina and Sam. Once the 8-year old made it to the top, he followed the screams of Lindsey, Logan and Timmy and soon caught up with them.

"Guys, get in the bathroom!" Timmy shouted.

The four kids rushed up to the bathroom door, Timmy opened it, and they all rushed inside, followed by Timmy closing and locking the door.

"He's coming!" Tommy said.

"Get in the tub." Timmy said before he, Tommy, Lindsey and Logan all ran over to the bathtub and got in it and sat down, followed by staring at the door in fear.

So here he and Lindsey were again. Back in the bathroom. It may not have been his bathroom or his house, but it might as well have been because it was the same situation. After staring at the door for what seemed like forever, the locked door-knob started turning.

"This is the police. Are you alright?" Came a male voice on the other side of the door, which clearly belonged to a cop.

"He's out there, please!" Tommy warned.

"The door's locked. Are you able to un-lock the door?" The male cop asked. "Are you able to un-lock the door?"

"Yeah." Timmy said before getting out of the tub and going over to the door. "Is he gone?"

"No, there's no one out here." The male cop assured. "Please, just un-lock the door."

"Okay, hold on." Timmy said. Just as he was about to un-lock and open the door, there was a loud banging sound on it on the other side. "AAAAHHH!" He screamed as he backed up.

"AAAAAAAAAHHHH!" Tommy, Lindsey and Logan screamed.

A familiar fist came through the door with a long blue sleeve on, followed by the door being ripped off, the fist withdrawing itself from the hole, and the door being tossed aside, revealing the Boogyman, who then walked inside the bathroom.

"AAAAAAAAAHHHH!" Timmy, Tommy, Lindsey and Logan screamed.

"Freeze!" Came a male voice from behind the Boogyman.

The creature turned to see a male police officer pointing a hand-gun at it with both hands. The monster exited the bathroom and made it's way towards the cop, who fired his gun, shooting the monster in the left shoulder. The paranormal creature walked up to the officer, snatched him up off the floor by the neck, and slammed his head up against the wall until he lost consciousness. The beast then dropped the officer to the floor and headed back for the bathroom where the screaming kids were.

Timmy backed up and fell back into the tub.

The Boogyman re-entered the bathroom and walked over to the tub where he scooped up a screaming Tommy in his left arm and exited the bathroom with the terrified boy. As he was carried off, Tommy could see the other male officer lying on the floor out-cold a few feet away from the door.

Okay, Halloween fans, this concludes Chapter 26 of "HALLOWEEN: THE BOOGYMAN". The next chapter will be the last one, then the Epilogue, and that'll be it.
