While on a supply run, John takes a chance and buys an angel on the verge of death, despite knowing his youngest son will be appalled. Sam takes one look at the angel and immediately jumps into action, doing all he can to nurse the angel back to health.

Epilogue. Post-show. Sequel to "Cherished." With Jack as the new God, away up in Heaven, and having remade the Earth into a place with no monsters or magic or angels or demons, Castiel, Brooke, Sam, Dean, and all the others will have to make new, normal lives for themselves. Hilarity, angst, and PTSD will ensue.

When Sam, Dean, and Cas get locked in the bunker courtesy of some nearby angels, smiting sickness seems to follow. But why is Dean the only one who seems to be getting sick? No pairings.

A 5x02 AU. Sam doesn't leave and falls sick in the night and Dean has to take care of his brother now
