A few hours later, Logan woke up on the sofa with Rory's sleeping soundly in his arms. Both completely naked with only a piece of quilt sprawled on their bodies.

He nudged her gently with a quick kiss and ran his fingers on the side of her cheek. Her eyes slowly opened. "Logan?"

"Ace." He grinned. "Wanna see the bedroom?"

She chuckled drowsily. "Now I feel cheap,"

"Wait till you see my bedroom and I'll let you rephrase that comment,"

Her eyes became wider with curiosity, but decided to let herself in for surprise as she put her hand into him and let him led her upstairs.

The second floor was as mesmerizing as the first floor, carefully designed with subtle but expensive furniture only experienced eyes could catch. It was consisted of only a center lounge, occupied by a large and comfy couch, a huge tv set, and a center table, another floor to ceiling glass wall with a door in the middle leading to a patio, and several doors.

"Would you like to guess which door is my bedroom?" Logan offered.

"I would if I'm not freezing my butt off," she pointed out that she only wore the quilt with her dress on her hand, while he had the time to put on his pants.

"No fun." He teased but headed towards a door facing the couch. "This is it." He said before turning the door knob.

He let her in first, gave her a chance to take it all in. It was a clean and comfy bedroom. With a king sized bed at the center, a relax chair under the standing lamp in the corner, a door led to his walk in closet and the bathroom, the room had offered almost nothing out of the ordinary, except that teeny tiny rocket miniature sitting on top of his bedside table and an oddly familiar alarm clock.

"That's my alarm?" She pointed at the object in question.

"Our alarm. We bought it together when we were together, remember?"

"Yes, but then you moved to London, and you came back and have your own apartment in the city and you didn't bring it, remember?"

"Yes, but then you moved out of our apartment and you left it, remember?"

"Well, yes..."

"I brought it to California with me, and then to London, and back here... and since we didn't do prenup and hadn't had a property settlement after the separation, the party left with the object became the owner," he explained matter-of-factly.

Rory rolled her eyes.

"What about the rocket? Why do you have a rocket on your bedside table?"

"It's the mini version of the one I gave you. I had it made when I was in London, and I guess it's just lost in my stuffs when I moved to Cali. I found it the night I met you at the party. I went home from the party to my parents' house because I was staying there temporarily, my mind was full with you. I sat there at the edge of my old bed in my old bedroom, thinking about you like I used to. I opened my drawer to look for our framed picture, you know, the one we took on my graduation day... but what I found instead? This rocket," he grinned sheepishly.

"I remember thinking that it must be fate telling me something. So I decided then that I will pursue you again. I put it on my bedside and everyday I would wake up looking at the rocket and be reminded of my goal," he caressed her chin with his thumb. "You are so worth it, Ace." He added as he saw her eyes glistening.

"God, Logan. It was the most romantic thing you ever said to me," she sniffled.

"I'm not superstitious, Ace. But it was like everything points to us being together again. I felt like help came from every direction, and with you again right now, it just feels right. Like I finally came back home," he whispered while resting his forehead against hers.

Tears pooled up at the corner of her eyes, inches away from falling while she looked at Logan intensely as if telling him that she felt the same. She pulled a soft smile and tilted her head to the side.

"Well maybe we can display your tiny rocket beside mine then, and waking up looking at them together and be silly or whatever," she said grinning, but her eyes were nervous.

He smiled assuringly. "You still have your rocket?"

"Yeah, stashed in a box in my mom's garage along with all things you ever touched. Been meaning to get it but wasn't exactly in speaking terms with the owner of the garage, so..." she shrugged.

"Wait, what do you mean waking up together?" He lighted up. "Are you saying what I think you are saying?"

She smirked softly. "If you're saying I'm moving in with you, then yes. I'm saying what you think I'm saying."

"Yes! Yes, yes, yes!" He cupped her face and placed a bruised kiss on her lips. "Yes, yes, yes!"

"Wow. I made Logan Huntzberger lost his articulation ability," she commented amongst the rain of kisses he gave her.

"I'm just so excited, Ace!" His laugh confirmed it.

"I'll let you be for a moment before I have us discuss logistics. You know, like where would we live, and how will we get to work. Because if we live here, you are going to drive me to work everyday, Mister!"

"I'm just gonna pretend you didn't say that and soak in my blissful ignorance until tomorrow," he scooped her into his arms and threw her into the bed.

"Care for some celebratory sex?"

She laughed but surrendered herself into his seductive moves. But as they fell into the bed, she quickly shot herself up again.

"Logan, wait! I have to know. Were there...um, someone else in this bed?" She said in all seriousness despite of her tomato red cheeks.

Logan laughed. "Ace, I haven't been able to think of anything other than you these past few months. You think I could managed to bring someone else into the house I just bought because I pictured you in it?"

She laughed nervously and let out a heavy exhale dramatically. "Thank God, because I would hate to throw away this mattress,"

"You're cute when you're jealous, Ace."

She opened her mouth but her reply was muffled by his kiss. "Stop talking, Rory."

--

"Logan,"

Logan winced.

"Logan,"

That was Rory's voice whispering in his ear. He tried to register his surrounding. It must not be morning already. He opened his eyes a little and saw the dark sky peeping through his curtains.

He closed his eyes again.

"Loooogan," she insisted.

Logan groaned. "Go back to sleep, Rory."

"Logan wake up,"

"No."

"Excuse me?"

"No, Ace. I wanna stay sleeping."

"Fine."

Thank God. Logan turned to his side and preparing to continue his peaceful sleep. He had a great day yesterday, but he was exhausted. He drove to NY to pick up Rory, then to Hartford for his parents' lunch, then to Stars Hollow for the dinner and then back to Hartford. Plus, the sensual workout he conducted with Rory not only once, but twice, really drained his energy. So he needed this sleep. And he intended to sleep in till noon. It was a good sleep with Rory in his bed.

"Logan," she called again. So much for a peaceful sleep if the reason that supposed to make his sleep peaceful was now poking his back and making noises.

"Ace," he warned. "Come back to sleep," he grabbed her waist and pulled her into his chest.

"Logan wake up,"

He groaned. Realizing he won't win this battle because he knew how persistent his girl could be, and she knew that he was a light sleeper.

He forced his eyes to open and met a pair of over excited blue eyes. "What, Ace?"

"I smell snow,"

He blinked. "Are you serious? You woke me up because you smell snow? It's not even December,"

She rolled her eyes. "It's our special power, the Gilmore Girls. We can smell snow,"

Logan laughed. She was so adorable. "You miss your mom. Call her,"

She bit her lower lip. "Yeah I think I will," she turned to her side of the bed to grab her phone in her purse.

"What?" Logan replied surprised. "I didn't mean right now. It's not even sunrise!" He glanced at the alarm that showed 4:35AM. God this is early.

"Ace, come back to bed," he pleaded. But she was already seated at the relax chair with her phone in her ear.

Her face lit up when she heard an answer at the other end of the line.

"I smell snow," she simply stated.

Logan couldn't hear what Lorelai replied but judging by the look on Rory's face, it must have been funny yet meaningful because Rory looked like she was about to laugh and cry at the same time. He gave her an encouraging smile.

"Yes, I have a lot to tell you too, Mom." She said stepping up and went to the window.

"Ace, it's cold outside." He warned because she looked like wanting to step outside onto to the balcony. "Wait,"

He went to his walk in closet and grabbed a pair of thick socks, a pair of slippers, and a thick robe.

"Yes, it's Logan, Mom. It's a long story... yeah, I'm sorry too it took me this long to call you," she said sincerely. "Wait Mom."

She put down her phone for a while and donned the robe, socks and slippers Logan got for her. "Thank you," she gave him a quick peck before picking up her phone again.

He added the quilt on her back for good measure before he sent her outside to the balcony to talk to her Mom, letting them have their moment while he leaned back on his bed closing his eyes with no intention to go back to sleep. Lucky it was the Thanksgiving weekend and he could sleep in.

He watched as Rory seemed to be catching up with her Mom about her past few months, laughing and making faces as the conversation went along. Suddenly her face lit up and she turned to Logan with a winning smirked.

"I'll be damned." A snowfall. He chuckled and shook his head still denying the snow smelling ability and blamed it on pure coincidence. He got up from his bed taking the blanket with him.

"Ace, I hate to cut this reunion short, but it's snowing. You should get inside before you freeze,"

"Okay," she nodded. "Mom, I gotta go inside but I'll call you, okay?"

Rory spent another minute convincing her Mom that she'll call and won't change her number before the call truly ended and she let Logan led her back to bed and snuggle her to warm her. "See? I told you I smell snow," she smirked.

"Great. Now we can retire and make money out of predicting snow. My Dad would be thrilled!" He teased.

"Don't make fun!" She scooted herself into his arms some more as if they hadn't glued together already.

"You're a woman of many talents, Ace!" He said supportively earning a laugh from her.

"My Mom wants to meet you,"

"Whoa, meeting the parents so early in the relationship? Are you trying to tie me down?"

"Shut up!" She matched his laugh. "She thinks we should spent Christmas Holidays together,"

Logan looked down at her face and saw her hopeful eyes. Who could say no to those eyes?

"Fine by me, Ace." Logan shrugged. "I have the HPG annual year end party at the 22nd, I want to go with you here, and it would be my last working day this year. I won't be expected for work until after the new year, which I had to be in San Fransisco at January 3rd,"

"How are you not expected at work for almost two weeks? Aren't you guys working?" Rory asked clearly surprised.

"Glad you asked, Ace." He started smugly. "I had managed to make father agreed to the first ever HPG year end holidays consist of ten consecutive working days from two days before Christmas to after New Year," he grinned. It was one of his extreme new policies he'd put in place to increase the employees loyalty and sense of ownership. It took a long and painful negotiation with his father and then the board, but he considered it as his personal achievement to be able to put it in motion. He had more ideas to increase the employee wellness and welfare, but one battle at the time.

"Impressive." She admitted.

"Thanks, but now I've got a free calendar and I was hoping to spend it with my new girlfriend..."

"Oh, have you asked her yet? I heard her schedule usually busy that time of the year,"

"Yeah? I think she won't refuse my offer,"

"So sure of yourself? You made a plan?"

"Nothing fancy. Just a week with my dear handsome self,"

She cocked her brows. "Just a week? What about the rest of the holidays?" She pouted.

He pinched her nose and laughed. "I would spend it with you too if you promise you won't get tired of me,"

"I just promised to move in with you, Logan. I think I can manage ten whole days with your annoying self,"

"Okay, then..."

Things are going so great in his life right now.
