A/n.: Huh, three chapters in a week? I must be on a roll! Know that your reviews warms my heart and encourage me to write faster! *kisses*
Thank you for all the loves and suggestions, although I'm sorry I can't accommodate them in the story, because I had pretty much three chapters written ahead before your comments came in. So I can't change storylines a lot. But still, love your reviews and enjoyed your guesses.
Well, I think you're all excited and nervous and curious about what happened. So without further ado... enjoy!

"I'm sorry, did you just say he's inside?" Colin asked with a wide eye while Rory jumped to hold off Logan who was storming to the door.
"Logan, stop! Stop please, hear me out!" She said pleadingly but Logan wasn't listening.
The world was blurred as he was fuming with anger that was focused on the guy in there. The object of his fury. His body screamed for a release and it had a mind of its own hearing that name being so close, so within reach.
He barged in, ready to bulldoze the guy but he didn't find anyone in the living room. He turned back to the door to face Rory, puzzled.
"He's in the room. I gave him Xanax. But please don't be so loud, he's easily triggered by loud voices..." she explained in hushed tone. What the?
"Rory, what is going on?" Logan demanded.
"Please calm down, sit down and keep your voice down. And Colin, can you make sure my mom won't come here crazily loud?" She pleaded.
"Okay, but I want the rest of the story too, Rory..." he pouted but did as he was told and he took Marley with him.
It took all the strength in him to sit down. Rory took the seat beside him, while Paris sat at the other side.
"So he came this afternoon wanted to talk to me. To apologize. He cornered me in front of my mom's house. I refused because I was in the middle of a wedding, and he went almost hysterical, grabbed me and shoved me in the car, took my phone and drove. He constantly repeated that he wanted to apologize and that I had to give him the chance... it was horrible at first, it was like I was back to Texas and losing power and control over my life again. But I kept thinking about you, and I felt empowered and I regained my sense..." she smiled reaching his hand and hold it. Logan returned the favor by squeezing her hand gently, knowing full well that he would need that to hold off himself.
"As soon as my head was cleared, I noticed that he wasn't in the right mind, he talked nonsense and wasn't really coherent, and I knew that I had to proceed with caution. So I went with it. He took us here in New Haven, said that he stayed in his old apartment for a few days... he took us to watch a movie and had dinner. I was thinking about you the whole time, that's the only reason I could stay focused, the thought of surviving this and see you again..." she squeezed his hand as an affirmation. Logan felt his jaw clenched, the thought of surviving this. He had prayed for her to survive this.
"All along he talked about how great we were together and that he wanted another shot on us... I told him about us, but I realized it was a trigger when he almost threw the dish at me..." her eyes wide, her shoulders shivered. Logan balled his fist as he felt the anger came boiling back.
"He ranted about nine years ago as if it was yesterday. And he said things he used to say to me, all those manipulative words to assure me that you don't love me, you left me, and nobody ever love me... that sort of things. It was very convincing. Only this time I wasn't that confused young girl floating around with no roots. I am safe and I am confident of your love for me... so I saw him for what he really is. Delusional and schizophrenic. I had him took me here, and I played along with his hallucinations while figuring out a way to contact you without triggering him. At one point, he was lucid and confused as to why I was here with him and I convinced him that he needed help. I gave him the meds and sent him to bed, and I called you and his parents, they are on their way here..." she assured calmly.
Logan's brows creased trying to process the information. Sounds like Rory rationalizing that guy's acts. Whatever it was, Logan needed to know something.
"But he... did he, by any chance, touched you?" Logan shuddered at that thought.
"He was very gentle to me once I told him that I believed him, I forgave him, and I wanted him to get better... that's why he took the meds... because he wanted to show me that he wanted to get better..." she squeezed his hand again and smiled softly. "And no, he didn't touch me like that too,"
"You took a great risk, Ace. What if he wakes up before I got here? What could have happened?" Logan couldn't even imagine.
"I know you'll get here in time, Logan..." although his heart bursted at her confidence on him, he still frowned. "And besides, I didn't took martial arts classes just for show. I actually know what I'm doing. I could have take him down if he insisted to go that way. But he needs help, Logan... he's like a wounded animal. Confused and scared... he's not well, Logan..."
Logan let out a frustrated laugh. "I really don't know how you live this long with that heart of yours, Ace!"
"Say the word and I'll kill him in his sleep, Huntz!" Paris whispered beside him. He was starting to like Paris.
"Forgiveness does not change the past but it enlarges the future," she simply stated.
"Quoting Boose now?" Paris replied unimpressed.
"The thing is, I didn't realize until after I forgive him that actually the forgiveness set me free. I was stronger and I was at peace... but it wasn't even after he showed his mental illness that I realized that I had forgiven him. And I felt... liberated. I faced the object of my fears and nightmares and I won. I was freed, Logan. I was freed from my hatred, fear, and grudge. I am no longer will look behind me for a shadow from my past and I am ready to move on. So please, please for me, and for yourselves, forgive him..." she pleaded.
Logan looked at her with amazement. She looked tired, but alive and her eyes radiate a spark that he never thought he would see again. Safe, confident, free. He could see them all in her eyes. And he realized that she was right.
Forgiving someone was not only a gift for that person who hurt you, but more of a gift for yourself. A gift of a future.
He nodded at her. Completely understood her. This was the final nail to the coffin of their past labeled "Lewis from Lewisville", they can now move on and embark on their future free of that coffin's weigh. He started to feel a huge weight lifted off of his chest.
He pulled Rory into his arms again, breathing her in. She was safe. That's what matters. He felt her smiling in between tears and sniffles, as was he. They will forever remember this day as the start of their new life.
Lewis came to consciousness half an hour later, calling out for Rory. Logan reluctantly let her go to his room to talk. Praying that he made the right choice and Lewis won't do anything that would make him kill him on the spot. Although even if Logan didn't, a group of angry friends and family in the lobby would surely close the deal if Lewis even dare to try something.
But he didn't, and Rory had talked to him, convinced him again that he needed help. He apologized once again, to Rory and to Logan who stood there on the door sill afraid to come any closer to that man, worried that he won't be able to control his rage if he was close enough.
His parents came in with two of his cousins, worried and sad. Apparently he had moved on from Rory after he was released from jail. He got married and had a daughter, but they died in a car accident last year. His mental state went downhill since then, sometimes he was lucid, but other times he forgot the time and thought he was back to nine years ago, thinking that he was still with Rory and she went home to Stars Hollow to visit her family. He even got the facts messed up. The family felt terrible for not warning them about him. But Rory assured them that everything turned out to be better.
She wouldn't have found closure if he didn't showed up at her door. Logan was also convinced that he would came to appreciate the turn of events in time after he got over his panic today.
But one thing for sure, they were free. No more looking over their shoulders for ghost of the past. They could finally concentrate on the future.
Convincing Lorelai was a whole different matter. After a full blown havoc for half an hour she insisted on keeping a PI close to Lewis, in which his family agreed. Christopher had long gone to grab himself some camomile tea at the coffee shop across the street. He wasn't sure that he would be able to stop himself from landing one or two hundred punches on the guy who had made his baby girl's life miserable for so long. Macy went with him to keep him at bay.
Finn, and later Robert when he arrived, tried to sue Lewis for kidnapping and breach of restraining order, and pouted when Colin nor Paris didn't want to help them file it. They also threatened to not plan Colin's next bachelor party.
After what felt like forever, they finally let Lewis and his family go and they all went separate ways to their respective houses despite of Finn's whines that he was starving and that the only thing that can satisfy his needs was food from the Rich Man's Shoe. Macy and Robert unwillingly took care of him.
Logan and Rory went back to their Hartford house more than ready to call it a day. Luckily Luke had sent them some of the pancakes and burgers so they didn't have to worry about food.
They ate in silence, just enjoying each other's presence in peace. Each was deep in their thoughts.
For Logan, it was relieved. Just a few hours ago he'd lived his worst nightmare fueled by his own fear and negative predicaments. He'd imagined his love taken away from him, hurt and afraid. He'd imagined Lewis had done some unspeakable things to her to the point that Logan could never get her soul back. But it didn't happen.
Instead they'd gotten the gift of liberation.
Although he was still pissed like hell on what had happened. It might only be a few hours, but it felt like forever, and he never wanted to live a second like that again. But in a sense, he could see himself understand Lewis. If he and Rory had gotten married, had a daughter, and they were taken away from him in a tragic way, he too might be losing his mind like that guy. Just look at how he turned into a pool of a mess losing Rory for five hours.
He extended his hand to hold hers, needed to feel her, touch her, to assure himself that this was real and he wasn't imagining it. She squeezed back, shooting him a soft look and he took her hand to his lips to give her a gentle kiss.
"Come on, Ace. Finish up, I'm going to wash you..."
"Wash me?" She asked humored.
Logan smirked and took her to the bathroom. He undressed her gently, tracing every inch of her skin making sure that she was okay. He breathe a sigh of relief when he found nothing other than some bruise on her wrist. He might have lost his resolves to forgive if he had found any evidence that that guy hurt her physically.
Rory let him roam her body like a scanner. She knew he needed this. She let him put her in the tub, washed her hair and body gently. He needed to do this. To take care of her and let go of his fear and pent up anger in a beautiful way.
He dressed her and sat her on the bed when he finished. Smiled at his accomplishment and glad he didn't find any marks or trace of violence on her body. He let out a heavy exhale. Suddenly felt so exhausted and worn out, he got on his knee and rested his head on her lap, looking for comfort in the hope that it would calm him down. But instead, he started to sob.
The fear, frustration, anger, helplessness, and desperation he was feeling the whole day came flooding out. Apparently he was in a limbo, and now in a safe environment where he was completely sure Rory was safe and sound, the dam broke in an uncontrollable weep, his body even shook like an earthquake.
Rory bent her back and stacked her body on top of his, effectively enveloping him. "Sssh, it's okay. It's okay no. We'll be okay," she comforted him. He felt a rush of contentment hearing her voice and feeling her gentle caresses on his arms, but he still spent a good five minutes to spill out his emotions.
Even after he got a grip of himself and stopped crying, he continued the silence, wanted a little more rest. Her lap was warm and homey and he felt so loved. When he finally gained enough composure to look up at her, he was met with a pair of glistening blue orbs, filled with so much love that he couldn't stop himself saying,
"Marry me, Ace."
A/n: Whoop! There you go. Full on explanation of what happened to Rory while she was with Lewis all day. And I know you all wanted vengeance, some gory and bloody scenes, and this feels like a major disappointing anti-climax but well... I gave Rory and Logan a peaceful closure... of course you didn't see the frenzy when they told Lorelai and Chris about their decision to forgive Lewis. It was a total mess, you should've seen it. Yelling, screams, drama, the whole package! Lol. Lucky I didn't add Luke in the equation or there might be cooking pans landed on Lewis' cheek.
I hope you enjoyed the story anyway. I still have a few chapters planned out. So, bear with me! Lots of loves, smooch!
