Sorry guys, I have struggled the last couple of chapters. I know how I want to end this. I know what I want to happen before it ends. I just can't seem to get it together. Thanks for understanding. Reviews help.
She Ain't My Blood, But She's My Girl
Chapter 45
They were all on the plane headed to Orlando. Lorelai was sitting with Mia, reading her books about Mickey Mouse and the gang. Rory was asleep, leaning against Logan. They talked with Dr. Carol. She did not think it would be a problem for Rory to go to Disney World. She just told her to listen to her body. Not to overdo it. Logan told Rory if they had to, he would rent her a wheelchair.
When they landed, a car was waiting for them. Logan debated renting a car but decided it was best to use a car service. They were staying at the Disney World Resort inside Disney world. Mia was too excited. She was ready to visit the parks. Logan explained to her that they would be visiting all the parks, but would start tomorrow. He told her that today was a day of rest. They would take her to the pool.
After a day at the pool, they were back in their hotel suite waiting for Lorelai to get dressed. They were going out to eat. It wasn't anything fancy, but Mia had insisted they dress as princesses. So Lorelai and Rory dressed as princesses. Logan and Luke got to wear a suit and tie. They got their dresses from a shop at the hotel. Logan had booked them a Prince and Princess meal at the hotel dining room.
Mia is having a ball. She played in the pool most of the first day. The next day they went to the Disney Magic Kingdom. Mia had a ball. Rory and Luke enjoyed themselves, but they mostly sat and waited for everyone else to ride. Rory was enjoying all the different foods.
On the third day, they visited Epcot. They set sail on the Frozen Ever After to Arendelle. Mia enjoyed that the most. Rory did too, she didn't have to walk as much. On the fourth day. They rested by the pool. Logan and Luke took Mia to play at the pool, while Rory and Lorelai did some shopping.
On the fifth day, they visited Disney's Hollywood Studios. Lorelai got lost. They looked for her for 30 minutes before they found her at The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Luke took her hand and told her he was not letting go.
They all enjoyed family time. But it was time to go back to reality. Luke and Lorelai both had businesses to run. As well as Logan. Rory's work was not as demanding, but still, it was time to go home.
Once they arrived back to reality, Logan, Rory, and Mia fell into a routine. Logan would get up early and get ready for work. Rory and Mia would meet him on the patio or in the kitchen at the breakfast nook for breakfast. They would discuss their plans. After Rory and Mia said their goodbyes, they would return to their rooms to get dressed for the day. Mia would spend the first part of the morning in the office with Rory. She enjoyed coloring and watching movies on her iPad with headphones.
Around 10:00, Kimmy would come to get Mia and take her outside to play. Rory and Mia would eat lunch together. Sometimes they had a picnic under a tree in the backyard. Sometimes they ate on the Patio. After lunch, Mia and Rory both would have quiet time. They both would lay down on their beds. Sometimes they napped, sometimes they read. Sometimes they just rested.
Around 2:00, they would get up and go back to work. Rory would continue in her office while Mia and Kimmy swam in the pool. This is how their summer went. Rory and Mia spent two weeks in Connecticut in the early part of summer. They stayed with Emily and Richard in the pool house. They occasionally spent a night or two with Lorelai. Logan made the trip to Connecticut most nights.
The month of July was spent in The Hamptons. The Huntzburrger family owned a home in The Hamptons. Shira, Honor, and Trac spent most of the summer there. Rory and Mia are spending the month of July. Logan is taking two weeks in July off. He will be working from The Hamptons. The rest of the time in The Hamptons, he would be flying in and out via helicopter.
Luke and Lorelai, Emily and Richard came for the 4th of July celebration. By the end of July, Rory was ready to go back to her home. She enjoyed spending time with all the family, but she wanted to sleep in her bed. She was now 23 weeks pregnant with twins. They are the size of a grapefruit. Most people would think that is not so bad, but as in her last pregnancy, Rory was only pregnant in the front. To look at her from behind, you could not tell she was pregnant. She was unbalanced. Lorelai had laughed at her while they were in The Hamptons.
They were leaving today. Rory was excited, she wanted to get home to normalcy. Logan arranged for them to fly out at noon. Frank would pick them up at the helipad. The flyover was not bad at all. Rory was afraid she would get airsick, but not so much. Mia was so busy looking out the windows. Jeffery the pilot was telling her to look at the different sites. Rory was cuddled into Logan.
When they landed, Jeffery and Frank loaded their baggage in the vehicle, then Frank took them home. Claira and Benjamin were glad to see them. Kimmy would report back to work Monday. Rory was ready. She and Clair will start interviewing baby nannies and night nurses next week. She wished Claira would just find her someone, but she wanted to know the person that was chosen was the best for her babies. She intends to be hands-on, but she is aware that with a five year old and 2 infants, she could not do it all.
