Iris waited outside, continuing her summoning before finally getting a response. The sun was now reaching its zenith, the Atlantian created monster not enjoying the sun much as it beat down upon her skin without any cover. However, soon the Gyaos she had signaled arrived. They were of a new variety, one that clearly came from the Hollow Earth. They were twice as large as the Gyaos she was used to controlling, every single one had bioluminescence. Their heads were all shaped similar to her own, but she could see the lines down the center of each side.
Meaning their heads split into four parts, something similar to a few kaiju that the Precursors had used. Their long necks were quite thick, each one housing the organs needed to create their sonic scalpel. Massive wings were connected to quite muscular arms that ended in three powerful fingers, the end of the wings ending in wickedly hooked claws. The feet were robust, but short. The large upper body also exuded a gas that Iris found out was used to douse fires, something to fight Gamera maybe?
The biggest one landed before Iris, bowing before its light blue bioluminescence turned red. Iris smiled to herself, the biggest had dropped it's position of power in order to survive. It was much more intelligent then many of its kind. She mentally commanded the horde to encircle the temple site, guarding it jealousy from all intruders that were not allowed. Of course, any Jaegers or Titans were allowed to come close but not interfere. They also had plants from the hollow earth too, which some were expertly planting into the sandy soil.
As Iris watched, the sand soon became soaked with water and muddy as the plants started to grow and expand over the sand in a few moments. It soon stopped then she saw another area do the same thing, everywhere an oasis was appearing in the desert and adding greenery to the sandy land of rock and sand. She soon returned to her human form and walked into the temple, following the smell of her Alpha.
She found them in a catacomb that led beneath the central chamber with the massive statue, her senses on alert as she walked towards them. Luna was talking in terms of history that Iris didn't exactly follow, human history really eluded her and wasn't her strongest subject. Namako was looking at the hieroglyphs on the walls while Harry listened to Luna, nodding when the blonde made a point. Iris tuned Luna out, only hearing her vibrations as she looked at the wall herself.
It was rather quiet down here until she got some vibrations under her feet, something was waking up and it wasn't producing any living vibrations. No heartbeat, no breathing, nothing that would signal a living being. She froze then hissed, her four tentacles that were a part of her head, the connections hidden by her hair, rose up in her defense.
Harry stopped Luna as soon as he noticed Iris's distress, then he picked up on it as well. The smell of something that was decaying at an extremely slow rate. He growled before his staff appeared in his hand, the crystal that looked like his atomic flame glowed blue as it filled the catacomb with its light. Namako rumbled as she took up a defensive position at his side, Iris taking up the other. Luna slid behind them, her powers better for support then assault.
Harry slowly moved towards the end of the catacomb, shining his light into the chamber beyond. He didn't see anything until he sent the light out to illuminate the chamber proper, gritting his teeth as he realized there was a hole leading further into the earth and there were bat-like alien creatures slowly climbing out of it. He fired off a fiendfyre spell, consuming the empty room and the creatures within moments. He cut off the spell before it could destroy anything else, leaving ashes and blackened floor.
"They were not alive," Iris hissed, really angry, "No signs of life, even real vampires show signs of life. There are no signs of life within those corpses."
Harry nodded before looking at Luna, "You and Namako get out of here, alert Monarch we may have a Zero class event on our hands."
Luna and Namako booked it out of there, if Harry declared this a Zero class even, then he meant it. Zero Class Events were events or things that were of the same magnitude as Ghidorah, world ending. He moved with Iris into the chamber before using his magic to cause the hole to close, sealing one way for it to get out. He then looked at Iris for direction.
She points to a blackened door, "In there, the vibrations are coming from that direction."
He nodded then went in that direction, carefully making his way down the winding tunnels. Iris at his back, Harry felt the walls as they changed from being drawn on to smooth stone, as if there had been a change in material. He created another light and saw that there was, it was a dark organic metal that wasn't warm to the touch. Iris poked the wall then looked at him.
"Not normal," She said, "Metal isn't like this."
"It's not," Harry agreed, "Whatever this is, it isn't from earth."
Iris tilted her head, "Where is it from then?"
"We'll ask Moonhidorah when we get back to the surface."
Harry shook his head, "We're going to not unearth this ship, most likely destroy it as its too old to be moved without causing a multilevel collapse of the surrounding lands. Besides, you can't feel it but I can, this ship literally fused with the Earth to save itself from destruction."
Iris looked around before thrumming softly, "You're correct, the walls have deteriorated too far to even consider moving it at all. Destruction may be the best option this planet has to destroy the infection it's held for so many millenia inside of itself."
The deeper they went, the more the organic metal turned into proper metal. The metamorphosis from metal to organic to rock was as seamless as ever, but the two finally reached its inner depths and only saw what was silent chaos. Everything was in disarray and either destroyed or covered in some viscous gloo that was an amber color, bodies were in it. Everywhere the goo didn't touch on a body was withered away by time and age, a testament of how old this place was.
Both looked around before Iris pointed towards a massive mound, or several hundred of them. All of them covered in the same statue, or probably the vampiric creatures in hibernation thanks to the goo. Harry shook his head and looked at Iris, both knowing this had to burn down or everything would go to hell in a handbasket.
He made a grand swinging gesture, flames erupting out of his outstretched palm. Demon flames, Fiendfyre, the flames of Hell. He then turned it blue, the power of the Alpha filling the Fiendfyre spell. The burning torrent of destruction rushed through the grand cavern, filling its vastness like a river that had broken from a massive dam. Ending the spell from his palm, Harry pulled Iris with him as they escaped away from the ever growing living flames. Then the screams hit them, howling and deathly chilling.
"MOVE!" Harry roared as the cavern started to shake and cave in behind them.
Iris nearly got buried if Harry hadn't pulled against him as the ceiling and several thousand tons of earth rushed her from above. The temple was shaking from the reverberations of the ship deep under the Earth dying, as both Titan's came out of the Temple's entrance. The moon shone brightly as they came out of the temple, illuminating the scene with its ethereal glow. The Earth violently shook before a massive ravine carved its way around the perimeter of the temple itself. Harry fell to a knee as he saw the burning bodies of the undead creatures, rushing out of the blue flames that devoured everything in its grasp.
The Gyaos that Iris had called unleashed sonic scalpels on the escapees before taking to the air to devour them. Harry also spotted Kiryu standing nearby, watching everything as it burned or tried to escape within the throes of death. Harry then felt, more then saw, something rush out of the burning and into the night. Above them was the creature that had been given a statue that was worshiped. Indeed, the creature was massive, nearly three hundred or more feet tall with a near seven hundred foot wingspan that blocked out the sun. Its long tail followed and helped the beast keep itself straight as it flipped in the air before landing on a ridge.
It then looked around, and Harry saw it had no eyes, inside it had odd three webbed fingered wing-like appendages that opened and closed whenever there was a sound. It then hissed a soft tune before turning its alien humanoid head in his direction. He got up and glowered at the Titan, Titanus Pazuzu then bowed to the Earth and let out a soft song of difference. Harry nodded, like this was something that normally happened.
"Where is Luna," Harry asked Iris, as the Titaness looked around, "I need to discuss her next vacation locations before we go to them, in detail."
