In an altered timeline, the Hidden world was discovered but never entered. Dragons never left Berk. And Hiccup is presumed dead. His son must now prevent war before it destroys Berk.

Astrid never found Hiccup at the Cove, and he can't kill a dragon. With help from Toothless, and a few other dragons, he fakes his death in order to runaway from his false life, and start anew. On his journey, he will meet interesting characters, fall in love, fight a war and slowly rise up to one of the greatest, most powerful leaders of them all, but you can't runaway forever.

Gustav is sent on a special mission to map an island they thought was unpopulated. Gustav finds out the hard way that the island is host to a tribe of only women. Berk launches a rescue mission while Gustav has the time of his life as a prisoner, as his lover/warden offers him up to ensure the next generation of Bog Burglars.

This OS takes place in episode 7 of season 5, during the short stay of 2 days of Hiccup and Astrid. Since we didn't see what happened after this moonlight flight, I decided to imagine what happened after it. ;)

The kingdom of King Arvid Hofferson has been ripped apart by a rebelling noble in the north and the king is slowly losing, however he has seen a opportunity to gain the upper hand. However his daughter severely disagrees with what said upper hand will cost. (will be a Hiccstid in the end cause I am a sucker for happy endings) T just to be save.

The war is over and it is finally time for Hiccup tell his little girl the truth and reunite his family. Modern AU, all your favourite HTTYD characters plus Merida from brave. Rated T just to be save cause I do mention a bit of violence here and there.
