Update for the new year. One thing that irks me is seeing a story that has, say, 128000 words, yet 1/3 or more of those words are authors notes. What is it with that? You want to up your word count or some stupid thing like that? It's not only a waste of space, but really, people are more interested in your story than what you write in your authors notes. It makes me just want to close the browser and find a new story.

Simple enough?

Alright. This is my stories, ones that have been rolling around in my head. Some are unfinished, like Rewind Time... I am completely rewriting it based on the fact that I re-read the books multiple times, and find things a bit lacking.

As for the Movies, there are a few errors I've noticed. (Some would call it editing mistakes.) As I watch the first movie again, (now) watch where Harry sits after being sorted. Next to Ron Weasley, across from Percy and Hermione. After Dumbledore says 'let the feast begin', Harry's sitting next to Hermione and Percy.

Harry/Hermione - mainly because most come off with Hermione being a total swot, and harry just accepting it.

Harry/Ginny (hence the reason i'm editing my story) - unless the story begins second year, and the author takes time to really develop the character as someone who IS NOT FANGIRL-ish, then maybe, just maybe i can tolerate it.

I don't mind multiples, but honestly, placing Hermione in any kind of three way relationship ruins the story for me. I know many a guy who does NOT like a bossy bitch for a girlfriend, nor an obscessed bitch (Like Ginny) for one. Ginny does not make sense whatsoever. I think Harry/Fleur would have more in common than Harry/Ginny. I hated the epilogue, and I wanted Ron to die a most painful and horrific death. I don't really like Hermione... personally, I'd like to see her paired with Crabbe or Goyle. That would be her pet project, and someone who likes being bossed around. To me, Hermione is a bossy bitch, and it's something that many men out there resent. ANd has anyone noticed how the location of the Gryffindor Common Room seem to change in between Sorcerers' stone and Prisoner of Azkaban?

I can see set changes, of course. But to deliberately change from the fat lady being on a hall way to the top of a staircase? No.

I don't really care for Dumbledore. Nor do I care for the Order who imposes their will on others. That seems too Death Eater-ish to me. Reminds me of religon. I like POWERFUL Harry, INDEPENDENT Harry, and SARCASTIC Harry. Crossovers... like one with Star Trek... i found interesting. Time Travel is fun... would n't mind that myself.

Anyway, I'm working on a few projects... Some have Harry/Fleur, some have Harry/Susan, and some have Harry/Daphne. THey're just ramblings right now.. (if only you could see the list... LOL)

One thing I will not ever like is Slash. What is it with fanfic authors placing a clearly heterosexual male with another man? While I can see Draco as being gay, Harry is NOT. *Hint to , create a filter that will eliminate slash stories if desired!* I mean really, having a HP/DM paring is just SICK. Homosexuality is one thing. But Fandom is one that puts characters into BELIEVABLE situations, not some fantasy thing that gets you off. These fanfictions should be realistically appropriate, even if not canon parings. Ok, I would admit that Dumbledore is Gay. I mean really, who can't see that? So a Slash with Dumbledore and a OC would be fine, or maybe with Fudge, etc. Fan Fiction should place canon characters with someone that compliments them, not grosses people out. I can see Draco being Gay, always around Crabbe/Goyle, etc. But HP? No. Cedric? Possibly. Ron? No. It's just not right.
