Note:

I often go though bouts of being super active online, and periods of not even touching the internet. This is usually why I'll suddenly drop off the net, and not respond for a period of time. Although this is usually the case, most of the time, I'm just horribly ill, so updating is often erratic.

So today i've been terribly put off by a rather rude, new client of mine. you see I work in the photography department of a pharmacy, and i do side photo editing for a few customers that are interested. now usually i charge a fair rate, depending on the photo i am working on, and the quality thereof, and what is to be done to edit it. however this new client wanted a person edited out of an old photo (simple really), and she wanted me to keep the quality of the photo and blend the background so it looks normal.

The photo was a wallet size, and poor quality. nonetheless I did so, and I even fixed the color and a few of the tears and holes on the photo too. It took me two and a half hour to do. so when i finished the job and the customer picked it up, she said it was bad and that I didn't do the job she wanted! she was looking at the original and didn't see the edited photo. so she refused to pay me (a fair $15 for my time) and just left after making a big stink about it. when she was gone, i then realized that she took the cd of the edited photos and left me the cd with the original photo she game me!

i was hoodwinked and i feel so burned just thinking of it!

it's kind of ironic that such a thing happened to me, and it really killed my motive to continue Fragile Kindness at this time.

on the lighter note, i've been trying to nurse my wounded faith in others (as my cynical side is dominating at the moment) with just drawing. updates will be delayed until further notice.

Okay, now after my own nifty personal disclaimer, I'll bore you all with a little information about myself. :D

If anyone is wondering, this is my year! It is the second cycle for me. And if you don't get what I mean, that's okay too. ;)

Active Stories:

My Musume: AU. HiME/Otome. After Shizuru’s graduation she left Fuuka and Natsuki, never looking back. Natsuki eventually got over being abandoned by Shizuru. After her second year at Fuuka, she moved to America. Now 8 years later, she's back and she's not alone. Chapter nine, typing in progress...

The Classical Side of Love: Mai Hime. Shizuru/Natsuki. AU. Shizuru is the second violinest in the famous string quartet Elysium. As the group goes on tour they meet one of their biggest fans, Kuga Natsuki. However unlike any typical fan, Natsuki has never been concerned with what her idols actually look like since all she ever cared about is the music. This story is completely plot-less! Don't bother reading, cuz it's just slice-of-life distraction. Next chapter...written, but not typed yet.

Fragile Kindness: AU: Otome. Natsuki, a homeless wanderer was taken in by the kindness of the Tokiha family. In turn, she showed a little kindness to a distraught patron. What she didn’t expect was that patron turning her life upside down. A Tomoe/Natsuki/Shizuru tree-some. Chapter three...mostly done, but currently unmotivated to continue...

Planned Stories:

Zipang Love Affair: AU. Otome. Set during the Twelve Kingdoms that was mentioned in the Otome (anime) series. Ancient feudal Zipang. The lives and loves of the royal court.

Lean On Me: Mai Otome AU. In which Natsuki Kruger never attended Garderobe Academy for Otome. This is another plot bunny that won't leave me, so expect updates to be rare, but I will post this in a few days.

The Empress of Taiyun: Mai HiME/Otome AU. This is the project I've been working on all summer. I'm using a new system to organize all my ideas and notes to form a cohearent story this time. Wish me luck. ;) I'll probably put of a sneak peak in one of my updates later. With so much planning going into this story, it may never see cyberspace...
