Back a third time, figured I'd celebrate the reveal of Sora as our final Smash Character via a chapter update not too long after the announcement. This time with the movie that will check off the boxes of the usual Kamen Rider Blockbusters. This idea was basically my take on the whole Summer Movie, so it's a long one. As a result this whole Summary Chapter is dedicated to it given the sheer length of the summary I have for this, as a result the skits are placed at the end.

Kamen Rider Smash – The Movie: The Subspace Inheritor
MOVIE SUMMARY:
The Malice known as Floral Belle, created out of Daisy's Smash Token, is causing trouble in the city. Kenshin, Junmei and Eiji arrive and easily take care of it with only Platform Blazer, Lodestar Princess, and Assister Base. The three even pull off their first ever Triple Rider Kick, which excites them due to failing to pull it off after several failed training attempts. Deciding to celebrate the group head out to eat after Samus gives them the day off. They're unaware however that they are being watched by Eri who had arrived in Smash City after completing her transformation device.
Doktor meanwhile has collected enough data thanks to the Animus', Malices and Riders' fights for his own plans. He gathers the original members of Royale Flush, Rolando, Carmine, Angelo and Layne. Serlon as well as the former CEO of Perfect Life, Vince, were gathered as well. They were all persuaded on one motive, revenge. Doktor reveals his true nature by showing he had been using the three Mii Fighter Tokens to disguise himself as a Mii, his true identity being a human known as Shoji Mihara. The grouping of six Mii's end up being wary of teaming up, but choose to after he promises that Kamen Rider Smash will be crushed once and for all alongside the Subspace Army, they all agree to help him. With their alliance they then form the group known as The Fallen.
On the Rider's side, Kenshin admits that he's been having a few odd dreams lately about the incident with Tabuu and his parents. He mentions being able to see the dreams through Tabuu's eyes and managed to spot two other scientists, the two's appearances matching both Shoji and Eri respectively. They don't get much time to dwell on it however as The Fallen instigate an attack nearby to draw in the three Riders. The group of Riders end up surprised to see all of their old Mii foes teaming up, especially when they find out that they're supercharged by a strange power source. The two groups fight with Eiji keeping to his base form to support with his auxiliary Tokens while Kenshin goes Subspace Inferno and Junmei uses Seraph of Duality to wrap things up quickly.
As the battle starts to reach a turning point for the Riders, Shoji interferes by fully getting involved. Kenshin recognizes Shoji from his dreams and this is enough for Shoji to initiate his plan, revealing that he too has claim to the power of Subspace. He uses his powers to resonate with Tabuu's Token while Kenshin is distracted as he claims to be the First Chosen. He then uses the connection to unleash one of Tabuu's techniques, the Off Waves. The result of this attack ends up corroding most of the Smash Tokens in the Riders possession and forces them out of their transformations.
The affected Tokens were Luigi, Fox, Wolf, Pikachu, Greninja, Link, Yoshi, Marth, Ryu, Ken, Samus, Pit, Isabelle, Little Mac, Smash Origin Alpha and Beta. The resulting depowering allows Shoji to easily take the Tabuu Token from Kenshin which he then uses to resonate with The Fallen. He then selects six corroded Tokens and combines them with their Malice Bucklers to become super powered Animus'. Rolando uses Luigi to become Verdant Bouncer while Carmine uses Marth to become Sapphire Consort. Angelo uses Simon to become Brute Slasher while Layne uses Wolf to become Lupine Sniper. Serlon uses Link to become Shining Blader while Vince uses Ken to become Ignition Basher.
Despite the disadvantage, both Kenshin and Junmei think quickly with their remaining equipment, swapping Mario and Lucina's Tokens to utilize Familial Swordmaster and Medical Inferno respectively. Despite this, and even with Eiji re-entering the fight since his artificial based equipment ended up being fine, they are still unable to even reach a breaking point against The Fallen and their new Animus forms. Hope in the form of Eri in her Ages-Fighter transformation arrives, creating a distraction and whisking the trio of Riders away. Recovering in a hiding spot, Eri introduces herself and asks to work with them and CORE. While Junmei and Eiji are hesitant at the convenient help, Kenshin is willing enough to agree. Not only that but he figures he can find answers about his dream since he recognizes Eri from it.
Upon arriving in CORE and Samus being told the situation, an emergency meeting is called while Palutena arrives with her scientists to see if they can figure out how to restore the Smash Tokens. Palutena upon seeing visual footage of Ages-Fighter gets an idea and requests access to the Smash Token vault alongside commissioning a new project based on old failed Driver designs. Eri meanwhile fully introduces herself to CORE as Eri Sazama, with Kenshin confirming and recognizing her from his/Tabuu's memories. Eri tells them of Shoji's identity and how the two were also a part of the project the Yukimura's were working on alongside Shoji being her fiancé at the time. She also mentions, having met both Yukimura siblings on a few occasions while they were younger since she was a friend of the family.
Both Eri and Shoji were involved in the accident that killed the two parents. Shoji had ended up getting struck by some of Tabuu's stray power when attempting to save equipment and was drawn into Subspace as a result of that contact. Eri followed after him in a desperate attempt to save him but soon found out her body not being able to handle the transition from Earth into Subspace and began to fall ill near immediately. Shoji's body was altered enough to be able to handle it and shared the power of Tabuu with Eri in order to alter her body to help her acclimate to the new location.
They had ended up wandering for a while, trying their best to avoid Tabuu before they managed to escape back to Earth once Shoji got a handle on his powers. When the two arrived they had heard word of the Yukimura's death alongside media coverage assuming they had died as well. The two chose to hide themselves away from the world due to their presumed deaths, especially when they found out they were unable to physically age after a few years. As the two lived their lives in secrecy they also started to learn they had enhanced physique alongside unique powers. One of those was a connection to Subspace, the two sensing Tabuu kidnapping the Yukimura siblings alongside Origin Impact occurring not long after.
While Eri was able to ease into the power with little issues, Shoji slowly but surely started to lose his sanity due to the hazardous way that he had received his power. He became obsessed and devoted all of his time to find a way back to Tabuu. Eri tried to stop him and chased after but was separated from him upon landing in the World of Smash. While Shoji managed to find the Mii Tokens to disguise himself, Eri had become a hermit and hid herself while scavenging parts after finding the Sonic Smash Token. She had ended up meeting a kind Mii named Sadao who helped her with supply runs. She wanted to create her own Pseudo-Rider after hearing about Kamen Rider Smash, with her end goal being to stop Shoji before he could target Kenshin for Tabuu's Powers.
Upon realizing that she's failed that task she quickly informs them of Shoji's most likely goal at the moment. With the passing of Tabuu, Subspace itself had shrunken into a pitiful state. Shoji plans to become the new Tabuu by becoming an Animus via the Tabuu Smash Token. She mentions they have about 24 hours till he manages to use the Token to open a working Subspace Portal due to various calculations and power management. Kenshin, Junmei and Eiji are willing to believe her despite the other members still being wary, and ask to help out.
Eri however says that she only wants them prepared and recovered in case she fails. She's failed to stop Shoji numerous times so she needs to be the one who ends this. She attempts to leave only for Eiji to head off after her in order to talk. Eiji uses his own past experiences to tell her that she shouldn't let failures and a lack of power consume her. He also mentions that it's alright to ask for help when it comes to protecting the world. Eri decides to relent for now and stay for the time being, Kenshin and Junmei both arriving and saying they want to talk to her more since she knew their parents. Thus the three Riders also help Eri relax a bit given the gigantic burden she's been putting on herself. While that is going on Samus works on figuring out Shoji's location within the city by putting CORE resources in tracking strange influxes of power.
As the day progresses, Junmei decides to meet up with Palutena and Samus to figure out the situation on the Smash Tokens. The Tokens unaffected were Mario, Ganondorf, Chrom, Ninten-Trinity, Lucina, Dark Samus, Dark Pit, Dr. Mario, the YinYang Dual Token, alongside Eiji's Assist Token and All-Star Adapter. Samus suspects the antagonist Tokens survived due to their dark elemental nature protecting them from corruption. The YinYang Dual Token is too tied to Junmei to be corrupted, and Ninten-Trinity is the most artificial styled Token out of all of Kenshin's gear. The artificial nature explains how Eiji's Gear aside from his auxiliary tokens ended up fine. The one's for Familial Swordmaster and Medical Inferno don't have solid reasoning, but are thought to have been protected due to the Yukimura sibling's bonds.
Shoji meanwhile commences his plan as he starts utilizing Tabuu's Token to start the process of opening up a Subspace Gateway. The Fallen though are starting to get antsy and wondering why they're even waiting. Attempting to leave however results in Shoji initiating one of the functions of the Malice Bucklers he had given them, which was an electrical switch he can turn up to deadly levels if he so chooses. He already knew the six Mii's before him were rather unruly and made sure that he'd have a backup so that they'd follow the outline of his plan at least. He says to be patient as the Riders will surely come to stop him so they will get their revenge.
Meijin and Sayomi are watching the situation from a distance, the two severely annoyed by this turn of events. They realized they had been played by Doktor this entire time when it came to full development on the Animus'. They also aren't pleased by someone claiming to be the first chosen also wanting to be the new Tabuu. The two had dealt with Tabuu for a reason, not wanting to take his place but ascend beyond his rule. Figuring that it would be trouble if the hero's lost, Meijin tells Sayomi to deal with any issues that may pop up. Sayomi herself reluctantly agrees to this, but warns she won't babysit the Riders, much to Meijin's amusement.
Palutena meanwhile gets to work, using her godly power to enhance all the Purified Smash Tokens that CORE has stored away, planning on utilizing their energy to turn the corrupted Tokens back to normal. At the very least she's able to return Pikachu's Token back to normal to allow Kenshin an additional finisher in his arsenal. Junmei though requests to take Peach and Daisy's Tokens, figuring that she might be able to access a new form since they meet the requirements for Kamen Rider Echo. She also takes Dark Samus' Token since she recalls the dark counterpart of Samus being an Assist Trophy, figuring it will be useful to Eiji. Samus warns though that because of the Phazon Essence the Token contains that the Assist Buster will likely only have one shot, and to make it count.
As everyone turns in for the night, Samus decides to put out several calls while sending out several Members on night shifts since this will be their toughest fight yet. They're handicapped via the Riders but they just have to fight harder as a result. Eri however is still up, mulling on her interactions with the Yukimura Siblings, realizing she still needs to finish this herself she decides to take an early leave once morning hits. Eiji attempts to stop her only for her to knock him out. After managing to wake up Eiji quickly works on waking everyone up to tell them what happened. Realizing they need to get out there immediately or Eri might die the three Riders rush off despite being severely limited in their options.
The three head off towards the location of Shoji's base only to find Eri fighting against the entirety of The Fallen by herself. The three Riders transform, Eiji taking his base form while Junmei takes Medical Inferno, Kenshin utilizing Ninten-Trinity. Eri uses their entrance into the battle and The Fallen's interest in them to slip past everyone and book it for Shoji's base. It isn't long before Lupine Sniper disappears from the battlefield to take cover in the nearby buildings to snipe the group from a far distance.
The three Riders end up pinned down as a result with The Fallen closing in on their position to finish them off. Junmei makes the tough decision to forgo Medical Inferno to make herself a target, running out into the open and attempting to transform via the Peach and Daisy Tokens at the last minute. This is all to find Lupine Sniper's position so that the others can find her. The transformation doesn't work at first and she's targeted and fired on by Lupine Sniper. The blast however is deflected by Samus who arrives to help, with Eiji taking aim and using the Dark Samus Token to send a devastating blast Lupine Sniper's way, destroying her rifle and forcing her to fight at close range.
Samus reveals she brought extra help as a group of Smashers appear on a building, Mario, Sonic, Byleth, Terry and Joker arriving to assist. Joker however wanted to have a bit of fun and was inspired by Kenshin's heroic escapades, disguising himself further as a red Sentai themed hero, Feather Dooka. The five Smashers descend to help the others with The Fallen. Verdant Bouncer attempts to attack Samus only for Junmei to fully access her new transformation, Blooming Ruler to force him back. The Smashers leap downwards to help in the fights and to keep The Fallen from fully coordinating.
Eri meanwhile meets up with Shoji, attempting to hold a heart to heart with her former fiancé to stop him. Despite her attempts, Shoji is paranoid and grown insane to the point where he only sees Eri as a stepping stone to his destiny. After failing to get through, Eri realizes she can't get through to him as Shoji transforms into Papillion Fantasy, the two beginning their fight.
Upon Eiji and Junmei's request, Kenshin and Samus rush off to help Eri deal with Shoji. Unfortunately both Verdant Bouncer and Shining Blader get in the way. Despite this, Mario, Sonic and Joker combine their attacks to allow the two to break through and rush off to Shoji's base. Eiji teams up with Byleth while using All-Star Assist, fighting against Brute Slasher and Lupine Sniper. Eiji and Byleth manage to completely defeat Lupine Sniper, leaving Brute Slasher left. Junmei meanwhile fights against Sapphire Consort and Ignition Basher utilizing her new form. She and Terry are able to fully beat down and defeat Ignition Basher. Despite Mario and Sonic both having a rough team up session, they're able to keep pace with Verdant Bouncer.
Joker meanwhile is fighting against Shining Blader on the rooftops to keep away from the rest of the fights. Despite getting pushed back at first and he's fairing decently but keeping the battle at a standstill. That is until Sayomi suddenly intervenes and transforms into Kamen Rider Glaive. The two then manage to force the Animus backwards before combining their attacks in a very stylish manner to defeat Shining Blader in a rooftop brawl. When Joker asks Sayomi why she intervened, Sayomi brushes it off and mentions that they can't have them lose to a bunch of failures like The Fallen.
Despite Eri's speed being top notch, being a pseudo rider with limited technology makes it hard for her to fight against Shoji who is an Animus based on Tabuu. Kenshin and Samus both arrive, and despite Kenshin utilizing Ninten-Trinity, he's unable to truly put a dent in Shoji either. All three are beaten back, and forced to think of a way to deal with the slowly evolving Shoji, Samus tells the two to figure out a way to beat Shoji while she distracts him. The Rider and Pseudo-Rider attempt to perform a combination attack. But Kenshin's resolve to help Eri defeat Shoji is strong enough to resonate with the Tokens that they have. The connection between Mario and Sonic as rivals manifests as a strong enough link for Kenshin to access a new form, transforming into Scorch Booster. Despite it only being a standard Token based form it ends up being super powered enough to be as strong and adaptive as Subspace Inferno. As a result, Kenshin is able to slowly but surely overwhelm Shoji despite his Animus status.
Eiji and Byleth perform a combination attack to overwhelm and defeat Brute Slasher. Junmei and Terry meanwhile are having a tough time dealing with Sapphire Consort with Junmei only having one form. Luck is on their side as Pit crashes the fight, literally, and presents the restored Tokens alongside a gift for Eri. Junmei quickly takes Divine Duality form and deals with Sapphire Consort with ease in combination with Terry. Mario and Sonic meanwhile decide use their Final Smashes, utilizing special Final Smash Crystals to perform Mario Finale and turn into Super Sonic, combining both together into a combination attack to defeat Verdant Bouncer.
On Kenshin's side he manages to fully defeat Shoji and stop his plans by performing a Rider Kick, slamming the Animus directly into the gateway machine. The explosive reaction from the machine alongside the super powered kick is enough to defeat him and destroy the lab. Kenshin reclaims his Token while Eri can't help but remark how much Kenshin's grown, but also been forced to grow. But before they can close the case, Shoji gets back up, his body too corrupted by Tabuu's powers. He then initiates his final plan, activating the kill switch in all of the Malice Bucklers. The Malice Bucklers explode and absorb the life force of The Fallen, while the Smash Tokens are still intact, The Fallen are no more.
The life force is then sent directly to Shoji who absorbs it all to become Papillion Infinity, a two story tall humanoid monster resembling Tabuu with butterfly wings. Despite trying his best, Kenshin is forced out of Scorch Booster and knocked out. Junmei and Eiji quickly arrive to hold it off and thanks to both being in their strongest forms they're able to force Papillion Infinity back for a short time. Eiji notes though that they'll likely need Kenshin with his Final Form to fully defeat it. Junmei asks Eri to buy them some time but Eri admits that even she knows her limitations. Ages-Fighter isn't a Rider, and it could barely stand up against an Animus. Junmei however brings out the Aegis Driver, with Samus explaining that Palutena had decided to cook up a trump card for her. They only had enough time to load in two transformations, a base and final form. But she is also given Joker and Bayonetta's Smash Tokens to utilize in her Ages Circular for special attacks. She is warned though that due to it being unstable and new technology based on the Final Smash Crystals, the Smash Ball Token used to access her final form will disappear after one usage.
Eri transforms into Kamen Rider Segata, speedster form, and uses her high speed to strike at Papillion Infinity multiple times within seconds to distract it. Utilizing the Tokens she was gifted she also manages to deliver decent damage to the subspace monstrosity. Kenshin meanwhile is slowly but surely waking up, but manages to see an important part of the dream that Eri had failed to mention. It was his parents hurriedly asking Eri to help their kids if they're ever in trouble should they not make it. Eri promises and Kenshin fully wakes up, soon seeing the current situation. He's surprised to hear that the new Kamen Rider he's seeing is actually Eri.
Eri rejoins the others and asks Kenshin how long he was going to nap, the two getting in a light banter before they prepare themselves. Kenshin transforms into Veteran of Smash while Eri upgrades into Super Segata in response. The four Riders all work together and fully defeat Papillion Infinity with consecutive Double Rider Kicks. Eiji and Junmei deal the first blow to destabilize the giant beast while Kenshin and Eri deal the final blow to the core. The resulting attacks manage to fully defeat Papillion Infinity, putting Shoji's soul at rest. With the battle won, everyone heads back to CORE to celebrate.
Several days later Eri decides to venture out, figuring herself more of a wanderer but saying she'll be back whenever they need her. She's given a medal holder filled with several Smash Ball Token's just in case and is also told to keep the trio of Sega Tokens in her possession. After Eri leaves, Eiji questions why they insisted on Eri keeping Joker and Bayonetta's Tokens since she wanted to give them back. Junmei mentions that it would be best to keep the Tokens more split up just in case the Subspace Army tries something. Eiji then also wonders if they'll ever end up seeing Eri again, to which Kenshin remarks that they likely will.
Now then, when it comes to skits, I'm mainly focusing on debuts here, which means all the new forms and new Riders. Some things might be cut/altered from the description if only to make sure I could show off all the debuts without having to write a mountain of text or in a way that flowed better. Without further ado, here are five different scenes that I did little one-shot skits for.
Scene 1 – Battle Against The Fallen: Blooming Ruler Arrives
"Here I go," Junmei called out before rushing out of cover, quickly loading in the Princess Peach and Daisy Smash Token's into her Driver.
"You better be right about this," Kenshin muttered.
Lupine Sniper gave a chuckle as she took aim, planning on charging for a powerful strike from her hiding spot.
Kenshin saw a glint of energy and realized this was their chance, "Eiji, now!"
"On it," Eiji called out as he went to load Dark Samus into his Assist Buster when he gave a yelp, trying to slot it in only for blue electrical feedback to occur and keep it from being slotted, "W-What the hell?!"
"Henshin!" Junmei pressed down on her Driver to initiate the transformation only for nothing to occur, "What? But they're echoes!" She called out as she shook the Driver a bit before closing her eyes, "Henshin!"
"Eiji come on!" Kenshin called out as he tapped his foot impatiently, noticing that Junmei wasn't transforming, "Come on!"
"It's not like I'm doing this on purpose!" Eiji called out as he tried to push the Dark Samus Token in only for it to keep resisting.
"And… bang," Lupine Sniper gave a chuckle and shot out a beam of energy that shot towards Junmei who was still unable to transform.
"Sis, get out of there!" Kenshin yelled out as he began to run towards her.
Junmei gave a yelp and quickly crossed her arms to brace only for a separate beam to just barely graze her hair, it shooting past and striking Lupine Sniper's shot. The two beams clashed before exploding in mid-air.
"Get the hell in!" Eiji slammed his palm against the Dark Samus Token as he managed to slot it in.
[SMASH TOKEN CONFIRMED: READY FOR BUSTER]
"Shoot now!" Kenshin yelled.
"You don't need to tell me twice!" Eiji quickly leapt forward and skidded back into view, taking aim as the Assist Buster began to crackle with blue electricity.
[DARK SAMUS: BUSTER BLAST!]
"TAKE THIS!" Eiji yelled out as he fired a massive beam of Phazon energy towards where he had seen Lupine Sniper set up. He gave a grin as he struck the building where she was hiding, tearing a hole through it with the beam.
Lupine Sniper gave a howl as she launched away from the beam, scorch marks on her monstrous form as her rifle was partially melted and sparking. She dropped it before it exploded and landed near her allies.
"And there's the one shot…" Eiji let the Assist Buster drop to the ground, it smoking as electricity crackled around it.
"Nice job Eiji, you really saved me," Junmei gave a sigh of relief.
"That wasn't him," Kenshin ran over, "And what were you thinking?!"
"S-Sorry…" Junmei rubbed the back of her head before giving a yelp as she was hugged, "Yeah, sorry, I just thought…"
"Its fine," Kenshin breathed a sigh of relief before letting go.
"Okay but who was it?" Junmei asked.
"You can thank me for that deflection shot later," Samus spoke up, her arm cannon's barrel smoking as she walked over, "Figured you could use some backup, we don't have time to waste."
"So you've gained one more assistant, you can't match the six of us with only four of you!" Verdant Bouncer gave a laugh.
"There's not just one new ally appearing!"
"Huh?" Kenshin looked upwards with the others towards the voice as he recognized it, "Is that Jo-"
"Is that a Sentai?!" Junmei shouted as she pointed up at the rooftop five figures were perched on top of. Four of the five were recognizable, those being Mario, Sonic, Terry, and Byleth. The fifth was surprising as he was wearing a red bodysuit with a white center, various black and gold adorning it with a red helmet holding a black visor that resembled a bird.
"Eh, wait a Sentai?" Eiji asked.
"You may know me as the Phantom Thief, but right now I have a fiery passion in my heart!" The red clad hero called out as he clasped his chest. He then raised his arm up high before swinging it to his side, "Today I help the Kamen Riders with my fellow comrades as Feather Dooka! "
"Why did we let him do this?" Byleth whispered to Terry.
"I don't know, I think it's pretty neat," Terry shrugged.
"I take it Joker really wanted in on the action…" Kenshin gave a chuckle before turning and noticing The Fallen were all staring at them, "Whoa, a real show stopper."
"That's it," Verdant Bouncer shook his head before leaping up into the air, he flipped several times before kicking downward towards the group, "I'll just destroy you all right now!"
Junmei's eye twitched as the Tokens she had loaded in began to resonate, she then turned towards Verdant Bouncer, "Like I'll let you do that! Henshin!"
[PARALLEL COMBINATION! PEACH! DAISY! KAMEN RIDER ECHO: BLOOMING RULER!]
A flurry of petals shot upwards from where Junmei stood, engulfing her before she launched outwards from it to reveal to large shields, one white with a pink ring and one yellow with an orange ring, the shields overlapping each other partially and blocking the kick. The shields began to spin around rapidly soon, the force managing to force Verdant Bouncer off balance before he was smashed away.
The shields parted to reveal Junmei's full armor, it being a bright white bodysuit with pink lining and detailing, having orange forearm, shoulder, chest, and shin armor with white accents that was fairly thin and formfitting for the most part. The shoulders were fairly large and puffy in shape. Her helmet was fairly simple, it being rounded and orange with bright pink bug eyes and a silver plain mouth plate, a gold half-crown adorning the front of her helmet as the crest. She also had a two ended coattail that was orange with white rimming on the outside and pink on the inside.
"Now then," Junmei held her arms up and both shields away from each other, the shields beginning to spin rapidly as she held them by their handles, a buzzing sound being heard, "Allow me show you how to really use Smash Tokens."
"Let's be real, you're using an Echo Fighter Combination not an upgrade," Verdant Bouncer leapt into the air, gathering fire in his hands before throwing them forward.
Junmei held one shield in front of her, it spinning rapidly as the fireballs impacted and dispersed due to her shields speed. She then spun and threw her second shield at the Animus. Verdant Bouncer cupped his hands together and shot a fireball to redirect it, only for the spinning shield to slice through the fireball, it striking Verdant Bouncer in the gut. The Animus gave a gasp as sparks flew as the saw dug into him before he was thrown towards the ground.
"Looks like you underestimated the power of a new form, again," Junmei called out as she held her hand out, the shield flying back towards her before she caught it, "Big mistake even with your power boost."
Scene 2 – Eri vs Shoji, Ages Fighter vs. Papillion Fantasy
"Soon it will be done," Shoji gave a laugh as he stared at the portal device in front of him. It had finished collect Tabuu's data and was nearly done building up its power. Once it was done with that it could initiate the auto start-up sequence. He grabbed the Tabuu Smash Token before gripping it tightly in his hand.
"Shoji!"
The door behind him was soon sawed through before getting kicked down, the pieces breaking apart as Eri rushed through.
"Eri…?" Shoji turned before giving a chuckle, "Of course, you were the mysterious warrior. I'm surprised you were willing to help the Yukimura siblings."
"Enough of this," Eri gave a glare before her face softened, "Shoji, you don't need to do this, there's no point to it. None of us needed to be burdened with this power."
"Shut up!" Shoji yelled out as his eye twitched, "Those Yukimura brats think they can ascend to the plane that we should have years ago! All we did was shy away from our true purpose! We could have become titans, gods of that world even!"
"Are you listening to yourself?!" Eri snapped, "What's this about gods and ruling? That isn't our place and you know it!"
"So you too would get in my way…" Shoji sighed before taking out a Malice Buckler and placing it to his waist, "Of course you did before… regardless, I can't lose now."
[MALICE BUCKLER]
"Shoji… don't do this…" Eri trailed as she shook her head, "You can still turn back."
"Nonsense, I'm too close to fail!" Shoji called out as he slotted in Tabuu's Token before pressing it inwards, "Witness the power of my evolution!"
[MALICE CHANGE: TABUU!]
Shoji's body shined bright with neon blue before fading almost instantly. His form was now changed, having a silver bodysuit with light blue patterning resembling Tabuu's wings all over it. He held deep purple armoring on his chest, biceps, forearms, thighs and shins. Coming out from two holes on his shoulders were bright blue scarves that fell towards his ankles. His helmet was purple as well, having a yellow circular visor covering the entire front of it before being covered by a lacey butterfly mask.
"Shoji…" Eri managed to get out, her arms dropping to her sides as she saw this.
"I am… Papillion Fantasy," Papillion answered as he spread his arms, "Now stand out of my way, I will spare you if you allow me to achieve my goal. I will become the new Tabuu."
"I'm sorry…" Eri lowered her head as her hair covered her eyes, she then slammed Sonic's Smash Toekn into her Ages Circular, "But I can't let you do this!"
[SMASH TOKEN CONFIRMED]
Eri then held her transformation device forward, keeping it horizontally leveled before turning it vertically. She raised it high up into the air before pressing the trigger, "Speed Up!"
[SONIC TRANSFORMATION!]
Blue energy erupted from the device as she slashed downwards, the energy engulfing her before dying down. Eri had fully transformed into the Ages-Fighter, taking a step forward.
"Let us see whose genius will prevail," Papillion declared as he held his arms out.
"This isn't a damn contest!" Eri yelled out as she sped forward at blinding speeds, using her Circular to slash past Papillion. Her attack caused some small sparks to occur as she skidded to a stop. She then kicked off the ground and then slashed past again, she continued to do this, stopping and kicking off, slashing past again, and again, and again.
"Not bad," Papillion gave a chuckle as his armor had some scratches on it. He then faded from view just as Eri slashed at him again.
"What?" Eri was surprised before seeing something out of the corner of her eye. In an instant she stopped where she was before flipping backwards to avoid an energy blast being sent towards her feet. Spinning in the air she landed as she gave a glare towards Papillion who had teleported away and attempted to attack her.
"So even your reflexes are great, this will be interesting," Papillion stated as he brought out an energy sphere, it growing in size as he held it up, "Let us continue!"
"I'm going to stop you," Eri hissed out before slamming her palm against the Sonic Smash Token, pushing it inwards as blue energy began to gather. She began rotating her arms clockwise before raising the Ages Circular upwards.
[SONIC: CIRCULAR FINISH!]
Eri and Papillion both gave yells as they launched their attacks, Eri's spiked energy saw clashing against Papillion's enlarged sphere of energy. The two attacks clashed before Eri's saw began to slice through, cutting the sphere in half and causing a large explosion.
"Not bad," Papillion chuckled before giving a gasp and bracing with both arms. The energy saw had launched out, undeterred by the clash as it struck against his arms. He gave a yell as he gathered energy in both arms, converting them into energy sabers that he used to slice through and split the attack, "You won't defeat me!"
"Sorry but you don't have a say in the matter!" Eri yelled as she suddenly appeared crouched in front of him.
[SONIC: CIRCULAR FINISH!]
Eri gave a yell as her weapon was engulfed in blue energy, soon slamming it directly at Papillion who brought his blades down on her, an explosive burst of energy occurring as the attacks connected.
Scene 3 – The Power of Rivals, Scorch Booster is born!
Kenshin and Eri both gave yells as they were thrown backwards by the force of Papillion's wings. The attack had slammed the two against the wall and stunned them briefly.
"Jeez…" Kenshin gave a wince as he fell to one knee, "Even Ninten-Trinity's having trouble."
"I nearly had him before you got here," Eri admitted, "But then he suddenly grew stronger."
"Crap, that's just like Subspace Inferno," Kenshin hissed out.
"Bow to the true Ruler of Subspace!" Papillion yelled out as he summoned energy around his hands, growing the energy out into claws. He then began swiping forward, sending energy slashes forward from his hands.
[TRI RUSH: VOLT TACKLE!]
Samus grabbed the discarded Tri-Saber, slotting in the Pikachu Token before accessing its electric finisher. She slid in front of Kenshin and Eri, quickly slashing forward as the weapon split into its elongated electric whip form. She began swinging it around rapidly while aiming and firing missiles, using the combination of both to deal with the slashes.
"Both of you figure out a way to deal with that evolution ability!" Samus called out as she retracted the whip once she had destroyed the incoming attacks. She then began charging her arm cannon with energy as she walked towards Papillion Fantasy, "I'll cover you!"
"Oh? You foolish lesser being… you dare approach me?" Papillion questioned as he raised his claws, ready to strike.
"I can't kick your ass with this sword if I don't get just a bit closer," Samus remarked as she raised the blade, "So let's go."
"Very well, today you die!" Papillion called out as he launched towards Samus only to get struck by a charged shot from her, the attack had struck at his gut and exploded, slowing him down. He had stopped and landed on the ground to recover only for Samus to emerge from the smoke, slashing down with the electrified Tri-Saber.
"We need to finish this fast," Kenshin admitted as he drew out the Smash Knuckle, taking out Mario's Token, "We go in for a double punch styled attack."
"Sounds good to me," Eri gave a grunt as she picked herself up, staggering forward, "But will that even beat him?"
"You've got any other way?" Kenshin asked with a chuckle before looking at the battle before them, "Besides, you of all people deserve to be happy. We'll put a stop to him, here and now with our combined attacks!"
"Kid…" Eri trailed before giving a nod, "Thank you, with the two of us… we can do it!"
As the two were ready to initiate their finishers they were surprised when both Mario and Sonic Tokens shined in their respective colors before flashing in sync.
"What is this?" Eri asked.
"You've got to be…" Kenshin trailed as he saw this, "Eri, I need you to trust me on this but I need to borrow the Sonic Token for a transformation."
"Eh?" Eri asked, realizing that she'd lose her transformation but then recalled how Kenshin utilized the Tokens, "So it's a match huh?"
"A Best Match of Rivals," Kenshin gave a chuckle, remembering Mario and Sonic's rivalry. He then held out his hand, "Will you trust me."
"You better be right," Eri dismissed her transformation and handed Kenshin the Sonic Token, "Stop him."
"I will," Kenshin said as he removed Ninten-Trinity and slotted in both Mario and Sonic's Smash Tokens, "It's time to go, Mario, Sonic!"
[SMASH FUSION!]
Mario and Sonic appeared beside Kenshin before the Rider pressed down on his Driver. Mario began gathering fire in his flames before launching upwards, Sonic quickly spinning around and forming a blue tornado that suddenly combusted into flames.
Samus gave a wince as she slid backwards, her arm cannon sparking as it was heavily damaged. She held the Tri-Blade up as she watched Papillion step towards her. The two however were suddenly caught off guard by the tornado of flames.
"A fiery storm…?" Papillion questioned.
"That kid continues to surprise me," Samus gave a smirk behind her helmet.
[MARIO! SONIC! KAMEN RIDER SMASH: SCORCH BOOSTER!]
As the flames faded and dispersed, Kenshin's new form was seen. He primarily had a black bodysuit as the base of it all. He held armoring on the sides of his thighs and biceps, rounded small shoulder armor, alongside armor that wrapped around his forearms, shins, chest and back. The Smash Symbol was emblazoned on the front of his chest armor, it shining a bright green. The helmet was segmented in look, the back of it having points sticking out to mimic Sonic's quills, the front held a silver plate with two green bug-eyes on it.
The armoring had a unique color scheme, the right leg, left arm and shoulder, left half of the chest and right half of the helmet was a blue coloration with white accents. Likewise the opposite sides of that coloration were primarily red with blue accents.
"A new form…?" Papillion questioned.
"He's all yours kid," Samus said as she took several steps back.
"Do it," Eri gave a nod.
Kenshin gave a nod before taking a few steps, getting a running start before he became a blur. The next time he appeared he was already slamming his fist against Papillion's face.
Papillion gave a gasp as he was thrown backwards, quickly using his wings to catch himself. He then launched towards Kenshin head first to try and strike him like a missile. To his surprise he was caught by his head before getting kneed by the Rider. This had ended up forcing him back into an upright position.
Kenshin gave several yells as he launched forward, his fists lighting on fire as he began rapidly punching against Papillion's body. His strikes ended up fast and hard, alongside having the boosted elemental damage, so much so that Papillion was launched backwards, being slammed against the wall of his lab.
Papillion gave a yell as he pried himself from the wall, quickly gathering energy in his hands before unleashing a beam of energy against Kenshin. The Rider gave a yell as he gathered fire in his hands before launching his own beam of flames towards the energy beam. Both beams clashed against each other but the energy beam was able to slowly but surely break through, Kenshin quickly leaping backwards at high speeds to avoid it.
"Jeez!" Kenshin called out, "I need a way to strike faster and harder."
"Kid, use my weapon!" Eri yelled out as she tossed the Ages Circular to Kenshin who caught it.
"You'll need another speedster's power, use this to break through!" Samus tossed the Pikachu Token over to Kenshin.
"This will do," Kenshin called out as he caught the Token before loading it in.
"No matter what you do… the result will be the same!" Papillion declared as he summoned a sphere of energy before launching it towards Kenshin.
[SMASH TOKEN CONFIRMED]
[PIKACHU: CIRCULAR CUTTING!]
Electricity began erupting from the Ages Circular as Kenshin gave a yell, slashing against the energy sphere, the electricity lashing out and completely splitting it into smaller energy spheres that were disrupted.
Kenshin wasted no time in speeding forward, slashing as electrical energy erupted from the weapon. He had managed to land a slash against Papillion who then warped away. Papillion appeared behind him and kicked out only for Kenshin to turn and block with his arm. He then kicked Papillion away with a fiery kick. Papillion teleported away but Kenshin sped away at the same time.
Papillion reappeared but was surprised that Kenshin was nowhere in sight before giving a gasp. Electricity lashed against his back as he was sliced diagonally across it, he then turned to grab at Kenshin only to receive a fiery punch to the face from the Rider. Papillion gave a gasp, sparks coming from his helmet as he staggered back.
"How…?" Papillion questioned.
"Its super effective," Kenshin chuckled as he raised the Ages Circular, "Mario and Sonic are just that strong!"
"That's it," Samus held a hand to her helmet as she tried to gather data from Scorch Booster, but was coming up with new stronger calculations by the second, "The rivalry between two famous heroes, one that pushes both to grow even stronger… it's a Smasher Only version of Subspace Inferno."
Scene 4 – Papillion Infinity Descends, Fight on as Segata!
"You've got to be kidding me…" Kenshin stared at the sight before him alongside Eri and Samus.
Shoji had used the life essence of The Fallen in order to take on a new monstrous form that continued to grow. Soon enough it began to take shape, not having any legs as it seemed to have attached itself to the ground. It was two stories in high and didn't seem like a standard monster. In fact it seemed like an enlarged exaggerated version of Tabuu, having longer arms that reached down towards the ground and gigantic butterfly wings sprouting from its back. It had no real face however, having a human mold but with a purple jewel right between where the eyes would be. While it did not speak, this was the form of which Shoji spoke before he became it, Papillion Infinity.
"What the hell?" Samus asked.
"C-Can we even win against something like that?" Eri asked.
"Good thing I didn't dismiss this form," Kenshin said before running forward and leaping into the air, "You're going down!"
Before the Rider could even get ready to initiate his finisher, the gigantic Papillion launched its enlarged fist at him. Kenshin gave a yell as he was struck before the force behind the punch sent him slamming into the ground.
"Kid!"
Samus and Eri quickly hurried over, the two rushing over to Kenshin who had lost his transformation after hitting the ground. Kenshin however was completely knocked out.
"Is he…?" Eri trailed.
"No, his vitals are fine he's just knocked out," Samus confirmed via her suits scanners.
"It completely dominated the form he used to beat Shoji…" Eri trailed as she gripped her fists, "How the hell are we supposed to win against that?"
"We're going to have to try," Samus said as she looked over at Papillion Infinity, the beast towering over them.
"I suppose you're right," Eri could only pat her face a few times before she took the Ages Circular and Sonic Token back from Kenshin, "He helped me stop Shoji, so I need to do the same for him!"
"That's the spirit!"
[FOR GLORY! YANG FINISH: DIVINE K.O.!]
[SUMMON: RATHALOS!]
The two looked up to watch Rathalos flying above them, curving and going high into the air before it was now above Papillion Infinity. Eiji and Junmei were riding it, the latter charging her finisher with their long ranged weapons. As Rathalos began spitting fireball after fireball as Junmei launched out a powerful arrow of light, the arrow splitting into hundreds as it rained upon Papillion Infinity, small explosions forming rapidly as the arrows hit alongside the fireballs.
Papillion Infinity could only give a groan as it reeled backwards from the attacks, its movements slowing due to the heavy damage. With the beast distracted and stunned for the meantime, Eiji had the Rathalos swoop down, it vanishing as he and Junmei landed.
"Looks like you could use our help," Eiji said as he walked over.
"Sorry we couldn't make it sooner," Junmei hurried over, "How is he?"
"Knocked out," Samus replied, "You guys are going to need to pull the legwork for this final fight."
"To be honest even with us I still think we'll need Veteran of Smash," Eiji admitted.
"The Tokens are restored," Junmei held them out for Samus to take before looking at Eri, "Think you can buy some time till Kenshin wakes up?"
"Wait, what?" Eri took a step back in surprise, "Listen, as much as I'd love to I doubt my transformation can buy enough time."
"That's why you need a new transformation," Junmei said before holding out a buckle to Eri.
It was a black and thick rectangular Driver with two Token Slots on the left side, one on top of the other. The rest of the Driver was taken up by a blank grey display. On the right side was a red button the size of the Driver.
"What is this?" Eri asked.
"Palutena figured you could use some extra firepower so she used what data she had on prototype Drivers she attempted to make and created one for you," Samus explained as she walked over, "Unfortunately it only has two transformations loaded in it. We've dubbed it the Ages Driver."
"Two transformations…?" Eri asked.
"Your Sonic Token should work fine since that's the one you've bonded with," Samus added, "But I assume Junmei was given the second one."
"Yes," Junmei held out a Smash Token with gold rimming and a Smash Ball inside the frame, "I'm assuming it's a power boost."
"It's an automatic final form for the system given the base is Sonic," Samus replied, "I wouldn't use it immediately though, it's not a stable version. The minute you exit that form or exert too much power you'll revert to your base form."
"Sounds fine to me," Eri said as she took both the Driver and Token, "I suppose I can't just leave this to you kids, this is still my mess."
"Still calling us kids, huh?" Junmei gave a light chuckle.
"I may not look that old but I'm still older than you all," Eri answered before placing the buckle on her waist, it forming a dull gold strap that locked the buckle in place.
[AGES DRIVER!]
Eri then pocketed her Smash Ball Token before slotting her Sonic Token into the bottom slot. She slapped the button on the side of the driver before she held her arms up at her sides with fists clenched, "Henshin!"
[TOKEN INSERT: SONIC!]
Soon enough a projection of Sonic appeared in front of Eri before he jumped up into the air, curling up and slamming against the ground before exploding into bright blue energy that washed over her. As the blue energy began to drip off, Eri's new form was in full view.
[KAMEN RIDER SEGATA! SPEEDSTER SANJOU!]
Segata's bodysuit was primarily blue with a few white accents that trailed down her body. The upper body had a chest plate, small rounded shoulders and armor plating on the sides her biceps and forearms that were colored a dull gold. Her hands were covered in white segmented armor with dull gold streaks. Her shins had white armor plating on the front with bronze streaks, her boots being primarily red with white stripes. Her helmet was segmented, the back of it extending to look similar to Sonic's quills. Her mouthpiece was a dull gold with a white rimmed goggle-like visor, two green compound eyes shining beneath it.
"You'll also need these," Junmei said as she tossed two Tokens at the new Rider.
Eri grasped and took the Tokens in her hands, soon seeing that they were the Bayonetta and Joker Smash Tokens. Remembering how Kenshin was able to utilize Pikachu in her Ages Circular, it gave her an idea.
"I'm off," She said as she summoned the Ages Circular before suddenly speeding off.
Papillion Infinity had managed to recover by this point, taking aim with its large fist and punch down at the speck of blue it saw coming towards it. Eri had seen it coming and jumped onto the giants arm just as it punched down. She sped forward towards it and inserted Joker's Token into her weapon.
[JOKER: CIRCULAR CUTTING!]
Papillion Infinity turned towards Eri as she climbed its arm, soon using its free hand to attempt to crush her. Eri leapt up, slipping between the fingers as she suddenly began to shimmer, splitting into four identical versions of herself.
"This show's over!" All four called out before launching towards Papillion's head. They began striking and attacking multiple times in a rapid fashion. They were going fast and striking so hard they kicked up a cloud of smoke all around its head. Soon enough only one Eri flipped out of the smoke before falling towards the ground.
[BAYONETTA: CIRCULAR CUTTING!]
As she fell, Eri performed a clockwise motion with her Ages Circular as the tips began glowing purple. She then held it forward, launching out purple spiked tips towards the chest of Papillion Infinity, the attacks striking its chest and exploding against it. Eri began to spin through the air before landing in a crouched state.
"This will do…" Eri said as she quickly sped off once she saw Papillion Infinity recovering, planning on assaulting it.
"She's doing pretty well for her first time," Eiji remarked.
"It's basically a fully realized version of her tech and she now has an expanded arsenal, it'll do," Samus gave a nod.
Kenshin meanwhile gave a light groan as he began to wake up, recalling the dream he had right before he had begun to wake up. He shook his head before seeing Junmei hovering over him.
"Wake up sleepyhead," Junmei chuckled.
"Can someone get the number of the giant fist that struck me?" Kenshin sat up.
"Eri seems to be taking care of that," Eiji walked over and pointed.
"Wait, what?" Kenshin asked as he soon looked, watching Eri as Segata fight against Papillion Infinity at high speeds. He gave a soft chuckle, "Well look at how much you've grown."
"I think it's time to get in there," Samus said as he tossed over the Smash Origin Tokens.
"Ah, just on time!" Kenshin gave a smile as he caught his Tokens.
"That took you long enough," Eri flipped backwards and landed while skidding backwards, getting near the group, "Because while you were napping I've had to pick up the slack, kid."
"The names Kenshin Yukimura," Kenshin gave a chuckle, "Or should I call you Grandma?"
"I may be older than you but I'm not that old," Eri gave a light laugh before taking out her Smash Ball Token, "How about we finish this."
"Sounds good to me," Kenshin called out before slotting both Tokens in, "Henshin!"
[THE FIRST TWELVE ARRIVE FOR YOU TO BEAR THEIR POWER: VETERAN OF SMASH!]
Kenshin brought out the Smash Calibur before slashing forward, the various projections of the original twelve Smashers overlapping into him before he assumed Veteran of Smash form.
"My turn," Eri called out as she slotted the Smash Ball Token into her Driver.
[TOKEN INSERT: FINAL!]
Eri gave a yell as a projection of the Smash Ball appeared in front of her, grasping it and shattering it as she was bathed in a golden light.
[THE FINAL SMASH: SUPER SEGATA! SANJOU!]
Soon enough she had changed somewhat, while her appearance was still the same design wise, her colors had changed. She now had a bright gold bodysuit with the tan accents turning red. Her boots remained the same but all of her armor turned white with gold accents. Even her helmet was now gold, her green eyes changing to red as her mouth plate turned white.
"Okay I abstained before, but what is with the sanjou?" Samus asked.
"Probably a quirk given it means you have arrived," Eri remarked.
"Either way, I think we can do this…." Kenshin looked at everyone and raised his sword up, "Let's take this guy down a peg!"
"I'll leave it to you four, wrap this up and we'll head home!" Samus said before she quickly shifted into her Morph Ball form and began rolling away.
Papillion Infinity gave a roar as several glowing spots began to appearing on its wings. It soon unleashed beams of energy that split into smaller beams that launched down at the Riders.
"Cover coming up!" Eiji readied his abilities.
[ABILITY: ANDROSS!]
[ABILITY: EXCITE BIKE!]
Eiji quickly brought up a scattered wall of floating grey polygon panels, as everyone went to work on using their own ways of dodging. Eiji rushed forward on the ground to get past the beams, using the speed of Excite Bike to launch himself forward at a rapid pace.
Junmei meanwhile flew up high, taking aim with her weapon and shooting out bolts to deflect and fully disrupt any beams coming her way as she moved towards Papillion.
Eri meanwhile launched upwards into the air, a gold aura surrounding her as entering Super Segata had allowed her to fly just like Super Sonic. She then raised her Ages Circular, gathering gold energy in it and slashing forward, several ring shaped saws launching out and cutting through the beams before heading straight towards Papillion, the saws cutting into its body before exploding.
[PIKACHU: CALIBUR SLASH!]
Kenshin meanwhile called upon Mario and Luigi's jumping abilities, leaping up high into the air and bouncing upon the remaining panels to help him avoid the lasers. He then raised his sword up high, electricity gathering before a giant ball of blue electricity formed above the tip of his sword. He gave a yell and sent it down towards Papillion, it crashing and exploding against its head.
Kenshin quickly accessed Kirby's abilities, using the puffballs floating to keep him from dropping like a rock.
"We need to get rid of those wings," Eri called out as she flew over to Kenshin.
"Sounds good," Kenshin nodded, "Let's get to work."
Scene 5 – Four United, Final Rider Kicks!
Papillion Infinity gave a groan as it hunched over, its wings were shattered and its body had chunks missing from it alongside several gashes. The four Riders had ended up dealing enough damage to keep it in a more docile state.
"I say we finish this," Junmei said.
"Good because I'm not sure how much longer I can hold this form," Eri admitted.
"So how do we do this?" Eiji asked.
"You and my sis go low," Kenshin said before putting a hand on Eri's shoulder, "We'll go high."
"Sounds good to me," Junmei said before holding out her hand, "Let's go Eiji!"
Eiji gave a nod and grabbed her hand, "Right!"
Kenshin and Eri both gave a nod, both Riders launching up into the air with their abilities while Junmei flew off with Eiji, lifting him higher.
[ALL READY FOR FINISH!]
[WRAP IN SHADOWS! FOR GLORY!]
Junmei had thrown Eiji higher up than she was as she swapped forms while initiating her finisher, switching into her strength based form as dark energy gathered in her right leg. Eiji meanwhile simply readied his standard form, various projections of close combat Assist Summons appearing over his body. Junmei then kicked out with Eiji, the two aiming straight for Papillion's chest.
[ALL STAR K.O.!]
[YIN FINISH: DIVINE K.O.!]
The two gave yells as they struck against the chest of the monstrous giant, the giant giving a gasp before the two Riders pushed forward, completely tearing through it as cracks began to form and spread.
[FOR GLORY!]
[SPEED FINALE!]
Both Kenshin and Eri launched themselves towards Papillion Inifinity as energy gathered for their kicks. The two gave yells, catching its attention. Right as it looked up the two kicked against its singular eye with their right legs. The resulting impact had shattered the eye and caused the cracks from the body to spread even faster before light engulfed the entire area.
"NO!"
Within the light it could be seen that Shoji remained, or rather what was left of him as he was now in a mutated state. He was flashing constantly between his human form and his Animus form. It was so incomplete that only certain parts were flashing at certain points as well.
"It's not over yet!" Shoji yelled out as he tried to stabilize his transformation, "I will become the next Ruler of Subspace!"
"No! It's time you finally accept that you won't win!" Kenshin and Eri yelled in tandem as they flew through the light. The closed in, reeling their right arms out before punching Shoji directly in the chest, their strikes causing cracks to form as another bright light engulfed them.

[GOLDEN FINISH: SUPER SEGATA K.O.!]
"I… lost…?" Shoji gasped out, the power polluting him was slowly fading as he could feel his body failing him, "Did I… was it not meant to be?"
"It wasn't," Eri called out, "Its fine… it's absolutely fine. There's not a need for a Second Tabuu."
"Shoji Mihara, it's time to rest," Kenshin spoke softly, "Leave the future to us."
"I see…" Shoji muttered before his life force faded away, "Perhaps its better this way…"
"It is," Eri replied.
As the light faded, Kenshin and Eri landed, Eri's gold glow and coloration fading as the Smash Ball Token cracked before ejecting itself, turning to dust. Eri was back in her base form as Junmei and Eiji walked over, the four Riders beginning to breathe sighs of relief as the battle was finally over.
And that's the Summer Movie I had planned for Smash. Very much self contained but can be placed between episodes as its own thing. This was originally one of the ideas I had for Smash's ending but given I had other plans for Meijin and Sayomi and they wouldn't be defeated anytime soon, this wouldn't have likely gelled together with the final arc. Either way, we're at the point where there are only a few technical debuts left for Kamen Rider Smash and that's with the next Summary Chapter which will be covering Episodes 44 to 52, the final 9 Episodes of the series. It'll be a big one since I do have some special things planned for it aside from just the debut stuff. With that, I'll see you all next time, and next Summary Chapter I'll show you the originally intended ending had I not dropped this series.
