The next chapter has some actual action in it, though it's not actually real. Also a lot of exposition, although I doubt it will make any sense. Some of these concepts will have to be repeated a bunch of times in several places before they start to fit together into a whole picture.

I'm sorry this story is taking so long, but I find myself struggling to write something that fits into Marvel canon. I'm not very familiar with it, and I'm trying to stick to what I know from the movies, but I know how irritating it can be for fans to read stuff that ignores established fact. I spend a lot of time worrying about that and then occasionally I work up the guts to say, "Screw it, I'll write whatever I want!!"

Thanks for all your support! Just knowing that people have read past the first chapter is enormously pleasing and encouraging. I understand that reviewing can be a bit of a drag and really appreciate those of you who take the time to write me even the shortest of messages. As long as even one person is still reading, I'll keep writing.
