Chapter 4
A month has passed after Ash and Serena confess their feelings with each other, their disguises as Calem or Leaf aren't found out by others, but rumors have it that Ash is dating Leaf while Serena is dating Calem, which causes a lot of questions from their peers, much to their annoyance.
When they are having Pokemon Battles, Hop rushes into the scene and yells, "We have urgent news! Lillie Aether and Gladion Aether have returned to school!"
"What? They're back?" The East is surprised and so is the West, the two siblings are walking towards them like those from the West are bowing at them, causing Lillie to be a little nervous.
"Welcome back, Lillie, Gladion." Serena says as she and Lillie share a hug.
"It's so nice to see you as well, Lillie, Gladion." Serena says.
Gladion notices the Easterns and he grunts, "Why are those people here? Are they still trying to do something unimportant again?"
Goh is the one that yells, "Like if we will just listen to you!"
Ash says, "Calm down, those two are from the Aether Foundation, and trust me, you are no match against that Gladion Aether, considering he is the number 5 of the top 10 in the Western Dorm."
Gladion smirks, "It seems like your leader is the smartest compared to you guys. But then again, you are just a Number 10 in the Top 10 of the Eastern Dorm, that means I'm a higher rank than you."
This causes the others to fume in anger, and Ash says, "Why don't we have a Pokemon Battle, you against me, one on one, Gladion?"
"If it will shut you East's mouth." Then he sends out a Pokemon that a lot of Eastern people don't know about.
"What is that?" Gary asks.
"That is my strongest partner: Silvally." Gladion says, "Use Crush Claw on Pikachu!"
"Dodge it and go for Thunderbolt!" Ash says.
Pikachu tries to go for the attack, but Gladion throws a disc and it inserts into Silvally, causing it to change into Ground Type and the attack is not working.
"What? Is it a Ground Type? Why isn't Pikachu's attack working?" May asks.
"That is RKS System...it is similar to Arceus' Multitype...those discs in Gladion's hands, they are the items that change its typing..." Ash says. "I have to play it smart. Pikachu! Iron Tail!"
Pikachu slams its tail at Silvally, but Silvally also goes for Fury Cutter to knock it back.
"Now use Multi Attack!" Gladion yells as the attack is going to reach Pikachu, but Ash says, "Pikachu! Dodge it by using Dig!"
Gladion is surprised that Pikachu manages to get out of the attack, and Lillie suddenly says, "That's enough, brother."
Gladion realizes that his sister is talking as he stops the attack. Ash says, "What are you doing? Forfeiting this easily?"
"Shut up! You..." Gladion is about to retort, but Lillie cuts him off with the icy cold glare, and she says, "Gladion, you're my brother and I love you, but you are not going to win against him that easily."
"But he is the one that beat Calem...the only rival that I acknowledge..." Gladion mutters, and the West is muttering to themselves.
"Calem? That Serena' girlfriend?" "Even Gladion acknowledges him? Just how strong he is?" "No wonder Serena would like to be with a person like him..."
Ash says, "So? What if I beat him? Your Alolan Champion is not that strong compared to me."
This causes rage to be filled in the Alolan's eyes, and Ash turns around and says, "Let's go, guys. We have nothing to do here."
As the Easterns leave the place, Lillie says, "Gladion, you guys go first, I need to do something."
"Are you sure you don't want me to come with you?" Gladion asks, and Lillie sighs, "For god's sake, Gladion. How many times I need to tell you that I can take care of myself!"
As the siblings are in an argument, Rosa says, "Those two sure are interesting siblings..."
Serena says, "Yeah..."
After a while, Ash and Serena are going to meet again in the forest where nobody dares to enter, it has been commonplace for them to be with since nobody dares to enter because of the rumors of Yveltal.
Ash says, "So that Lillie and Gladion, you knew about them?"
Serena nods and says, "They are my childhood friends. Their mother Lusamine Aether is a wealthy woman and royalties would be meeting each other."
"I see..." Ash says, but then they hear a voice, "And what do we have here?"
The two of them turn around and find Lillie standing there watching them with a dark smile. "Ash and Serena talking alone in the woods, it sounds like big news to me."
Ash faces Lillie and says, "It seems that you don't have your overprotective brother with you, huh?"
Lillie says, "Because he is being overprotective, I have to take drastic measures so I can come to meet you. But I never knew that you two would do something crazy behind our backs."
Serena says, "I am still the leader of the West, I can take care of him all by myself."
"Taking care of him...I never knew you two were in this level." Lillie says with a small gasp.
"So? What does the daughter of the famous Aether Foundation want?" Ash asks while folding his arms.
Lillie walks towards Ash and whispers, "You can cut the act, Calem Xavier."
This causes Ash and Serena to get surprised, as Ash's disguise is exposed. Ash asks, "How did you..."
"Know your disguise? I already knew your disguise even when you were in the same school as us back in the Alola Region. I admit I was confused as to why Professor Kukui and Professor Burnet would let an Eastern person like you stay with them, but what you did is different from the other Easterns."
Serena asks, "What did she mean, Ash?"
Lillie smirks and says, "Do you want to know what Ash had done to me? When he was Calem, he helped me overcome my fear with Pokemon, he helped me hatched my first Pokemon, Snowy, and also other things."
Serena feels her jealousy rising as Lillie says, "But then again, you probably confessed to each other recently, not that it is my business anyways."
Ash says, "So are you going to humiliate me just like those Westerns you have there?"
"Relax, Ash Ketchum." Lillie says. "I have no intention to do that..."
"Lillie? Where are you?" Lillie flinches as she drags Ash and Serena into the bushes, Gladion is walking past them with Lycanroc by his side. "I swear she had been here, Lycanroc, let's look over there!"
After Gladion and Lycanroc are away, Ash mutters, "Why do we have to do this as well?"
"Will you want to risk Gladion seeing you and Serena together? Just because I know you two don't mean that my family knows you two as well." Lillie says.
Serena mutters, "I see you have a point here."
"But how did he get rid of the bindings that I tied in my room? And how did he move so fast to come to this forest?" Lillie is a little panicked, and Ash sweatdrops, "You would go this far to bind him in your room?"
Serena says, "This girl...she is so desperate..."
"Anyway. I was quite surprised that you would humiliate yourself just like that." Lillie sighs. "As for how I know you two are in a relationship, I saw you guys at the amusement park's Flying Taxi Station."
"What?" Ash and Serena remember that Ash is disguising as Calem as they were having fun at the amusement park as their date.
"It was just a glance, but I would never mistake the face of Calem. The two of you being together is surprising, since I know Serena is a person that would try to get revenge on Easterns for trivial things."
"What?" Serena asks in surprise, and Lillie says, "I mean, you would always have a fight with your mother about how she would use Fletchling to peck you awake in the morning, and also..."
"Don't you dare say those things in front of Ash!" Serena quickly covers her mouth, and Ash asks, "What is with the..."
"If you say it out loud, I'm going to kill you!" Serena snarls back.
"Okay, fine." Ash sighs. "So you were worried if my disguise is exposed, Serena would have a hard time believing it?"
Lillie says, "I am also concerned about you as well. Legendary Pokemon like Nebby, Mythical Pokemon like Melmetal, and even Ultra Beasts like Naganadel respect you and like you, there is no way I won't do the same thing."
Ash and Serena are surprised, they didn't realize that there are people who believe that East and West can be together. Lillie says, "However, I should say what you two are doing is too dangerous, if you two get busted, then as your friend, I might get dragged into this as well. You better keep this a secret no matter what."
"Of course, I could do it in Alola, and I can do the same thing here." Ash says with a smirk, and Serena sighs. "What he said is true. But why are you supporting us?"
"Supporting you? I owe a lot to Ash, I don't like Eastern people for their arrogance, but then again, we Western people have the same arrogance that they had. Even though I might not be as strong as my brother, I am going to fight for everyone I cared the most."
Ash and Serena sigh in relief, but as Gladion's presence is near, Ash says, "Well, I'll leave the two of you alone. Serena, I'll see you later."
Serena nods as Ash leaves. Gladion notices that Serena and Lillie are there and he says, "There you are, Lillie!"
"Brother? How did you manage to get out of the bindings!" Lillie yells.
"That's not important, I am worried about you, what if you were attacked by Easterns?" Gladion asks.
"I could protect myself, and I just don't want you to interrupt my conversation with Serena here." Lillie groans. "Anyway, we should go to the office so that we can get our schedule and other stuffs."
Gladion sighs, "You're right. Let's go."
Gladion grabs Lillie's arm as she yells, "You don't need to drag me! Gladion!"
Serena sighs and she smiles, "Interesting siblings...I really hope I had some..."
Back at the dorm, Ash is looking at the schedule and sighs, he has a Top 10 Meeting to go. The top 10 are the strongest people in the respective dorm. Ash is listed as the Number 10, since he is only Grade 1 while the others are either Grade 2 or 3. The number doesn't mean the strongest, but rather the influential people. From 1 to 10, there are Tobias, Janine, Silver, Tyson, Robert as Grade 3, Misty, Riley, Whitney, and Paul as Grade 2, and then Ash as Grade 1. For the Western, from 1 to 10, there are N, Alain, Bea, Ilima as Grade 3, Gladion, Aria, Virgil, Gloria, Cilan as Grade 2, and Serena as Grade 1. They are also members of the Student Council, as they have the right to do some votes or other stuff.
"Top 10...how fortunate that you are also the Number 10, huh? Serena?" Ash thinks as he heads to the meeting.
And here is a new chapter, as you can see, Lillie and Gladion are finally into the story as Gladion is Number 5 of the Top 10 in the Westerns, and Lillie also knows Ash's secret and she decides to help them instead of harming them.
