SLINGING THROUGH THE TREES
Slideshow 3
Bentley:
Okay, the pieces are in place and I've got a plan together. It's time for Operation: Water You Waiting For. (Picture of a river with the title).
Sly:
I don't think you've ever asked me that question in my life.
Murray:
Yeah, usually it's all, 'Why don't you ever stop to think first?'
Bentley:
Yes, well, there's a first time for everything. Now, pay attention. We had some evidence that Dr. Foxworthy worked with someone to make the robots (picture of a letter from game 5's Holland). Based on what we've overheard, it appears that person is having the robots work to pay off their 'new bodies'. This operation is likely a scheme to pay off that debt.
Now, we already know the robot can be lured out if a part of her operation is destroyed (picture of the robot inspecting the ruined bridge). Murray, you're up first. Using the key Sly borrowed, go inside the waterwheel house and destroy everything. Ideally, you'll be able to unattach the waterwheel (picture) so it's completely destroyed.
Once the robot comes out, Sly, you need to lure her. (picture of Sly standing in the center of a street, taunting a robot). We know the robots were programmed to take care of criminals; well...
Carmelita:
The robot's got Neyla's personality, so she is absolutely going to recognize him as a criminal. (picture of Sly and Neyla interacting in game 2). From what we know, it doesn't matter how reformed he is, he was a criminal so he'll still be a target.
Sly:
And I'm not completely reformed, either. (picture of Sly pickpocketing earlier)
Carmelita:
Of course not, Ringtail.
Tennessee:
Hoo-eee! Do you two need some private time?!
Sly and Carmelita:
NO.
Bentley:
Can we get on with it? No more interruptions? (audible crickets chirping) Thank you. Sly, you lure her to the open square with the fountain in the center of town. (picture of the square). Sly, duck out of sight; Carmelita, you need to arrest her.
Carmelita:
With Pleasure.
Bentley:
Now, I don't expect her to actually agree to it, so Carmelita, you're mainly a distraction. Tennessee, I'll give you a number of the new electronic-disruptor bombs I've made. If the robot does not go quickly and quietly, I need you to sneak up on her and plant the bombs in her pockets. (picture of Tennessee, well, reverse pick-pocketing.)
Tennessee:
Now, that sounds like a brilliant job! I look forward to it.
Bentley:
I'll stay here and monitor the situation, and trigger the bombs. Four may be overkill, and one won't trigger the others, so I'll set them off one by one once you have them all in.
We've all got our assignments. Let's move out.
