(Sly Voice-Over)

Well, some time went by, and we tried to settle back into our lives. A couple hours every evening were spent trying to track down more robots (Sly pores over the Thievius Raccoonus, Carmelita goes through notes on every case in Interpol, and Bentley types furiously on his computer. Each has an empty bowl at their elbows. Murray appears, pouring various chips and other snacks into each bowl, and without looking up, each starts munching one-handed as they continue to work) without any success. Any that were causing trouble, past or present, were doing it quietly.

Which is more than could be said for Tennessee. (Tennessee slaps his arm over Sly's shoulder and grins.) Since Interpol still thinks I'm an amnesiac, coming up with a backstory wasn't hard: we said I'd started finding some of my family. Based on his age, we decided to call Tennessee my uncle. Interpol immediately insisted I take a week off to 'get to know my family better'; I think they're relieved my 'condition' is improving. (Sly and Tennessee chase each other around increasingly ridiculous set-ups of the hazard room).

The whole thing is driving Bentley crazy (cue Bentley also poring over the Thievius, rubbing his eyes behind his glasses.) Why hasn't Tennessee gone back to his time? Why is he staying here? But we don't have time to dwell on it. Carmelita and I are still solving cases (cue Sly and Carmelita leading some warthogs away in handcuffs while Bentley, Murray, and Tennessee look on from a patch of bushes). Bentley, Murray, and Tennessee even pulled off a small, just-for-fun heist. Without me. (Carmelita's laughing herself sick while Sly yells at them). Because I was busy.

But before I could get really angry, we got a phone call. (An old landline starts ringing off the hook, jumping into the picture's foreground. Carmelita picks it up, makes a surprised face, and thrusts the phone at Sly.) It was a former gang member of ours, Panda King, who'd abandoned stealing in favor of meditation and planning his daughter's upcoming wedding. (The camera switches to show Panda King hiking through... the arctic? Somewhere covered in snow.) He was on a hiking trip, researching potential places for their honeymoon, when he came across what looked like a military compound. (Picture of... a small village? Surrounding a compound enclosed with a freakishly tall, solid fence, barbed wire at the top, spotlights covering every inch. And just visible by one of those spotlights...) Carmelita confirmed nothing would be there legally, and Panda King insists he saw a robot.

That's enough for us. (The gang goes around their hide-out, gathering things and throwing them into the van; Tennessee already waits inside, holding his gun and grinning.) We've got a lead. We need to get to the bottom of this.
