After accidentally taking a nap during the remainder of the drive, Audrey awoke to Jay parking the vehicle in an enormous mansions, which look entirely too big for four people to live in it. Standing at the front steps was an older woman with her gray hair pinned back and looking sophisticated in her regal red dress that was completely unforgettable.

Before the limousine could come to a complete halt, Mal burst out of the vehicle, jogging toward the woman to give her a hug in greeting.

"Lady Tremaine is like a grandmother to Mal and most of the children on the Isle, including myself," Jay informed a surprised Audrey. "During the nights that Mal's parents would argue, she would come here. Most would stay here over the night to get away from their parent. Carlos practically lived here until Mal and I found our hideout. After we left for Auradon, Lady Tremaine sent a letter to us, saying the other children have stopped coming to her place because they were being punished at school."

Audrey tilted her head curiously as she tried to process all the new information she received. "Why would they be punished for finding a peaceful place to sleep? What would the punishment be?"

"You don't want to know," Jay claimed, a dark tone just barely unnoticeable in his tone. "I sincerely hope you never have to know and that you never have to experience it for yourself."

Suddenly, Jay let out a small chuckle at his thought. "What was I thinking? Of course you won't get punished," he insisted reassuringly. "You are a princess. The number one rule of the punishment is princesses being exempt from it. You will be fine. Let's greet Lady Tremaine before we keep them waiting much longer."

Although still initially concerned and confused by the previous interaction, Audrey still managed to put on a small, façade smile as she reluctantly greeted her host for the next few days. "It's so nice to finally meet you ma'am," the princess fibbed, before truthfully speaking, "Dizzy has spoken very highly of you while she's been in Auradon."

"That's no surprise, considering I began raising her when she was just a child." Lady Tremaine sighed at the terrible memory. "Drizella paid no attention to her daughter after Dizzy had been born premature, which is not her fault, but her mother blames her for it anyways. After leaving her daughter unfed and in dirty diapers all the time, I decided to take her in. I had just taken in my Anthony at the time, so I believed I could handle raising another child."

"Grammy, you decided to take in every child at the time," Mal reminded, playfully rolling her eyes while knowing the elder woman would swoon at her nickname. "Sleeping here was some of the best nights of my life. If you would just let me repay you for your kindness—"

"You already did that when you brought my Dizzy over to Auradon, so she could live a better life," Lady Tremaine claimed in a 'don't argue with me' tone. "I don't need anything more. Now, let's start on the tour. Anthony and his beloved should have dinner fully prepared by the time we are finished."

Audrey discovered two things while taking the tour of the mansion.

First, she very much enjoyed the simple interior designs of the building. Although it had looked massive on the outside, the inside was quite small. There were only four rooms on the bottom floor: the parlor, the kitchen, the dining hall, and one small bedroom, which happened to belong to Lady Tremaine. Upstairs contained what would be Audrey's room, Anthony and his girlfriend's room, and a couple guest bedrooms for those who wished to stay overnight. Audrey had been given a room on the opposite side of the couple's room.

After her first interaction with the couple, she understood the reason behind it.

To make their way to the gardens, the group had to go through the kitchen since it was the closest place with a door to the outside. Before entering the kitchen, Lady Tremaine bragged about how nice and pristine Anthony and Harriet Hook—the daughter of Harry Hook—kept the kitchen as they cooked.

Of course, when Lady Tremaine opened the door, the group came in sight of a kitchen completely covered in a white powder while two teenagers were throwing the food at each other. From their thick hair, the creases of their clothes, to the crevices of their shoes, not a spot on them was bare of flour. Even though the group had walked in, that had not stopped them from continuing to throw the flour at each other, laughing and smiling the entire time, until . . .

"Children!" Lady Tremaine shouted, forcing the pair to stop with their actions. "What do you think you are doing?"

"It was Anthony's fault," Harriet quickly accused. "He threw the flour at me first because he wouldn't move out of my way."

"You are such a snitch, Harriet!" Anthony exclaimed, tossing another playful handful at his girlfriend. "You don't squeal this much when we're in bed!"

"How can I squeal when you always have my mouth occupied?" Harriet boldly retorted, a naughty smirk on her lips.

Blushing brightly at his beloved's bluntness when it comes to their 'activities', Anthony did the first thing that comes to mind. Wrapping his arms around the pirate's waist, Anthony lifted her off the ground, refusing to let her go as she relentlessly kicked, squirmed, and giggled to get out of the embrace.

"Enough!"

Immediately, the couple stopped their immature actions like they had just been scolded by their school-teacher. Sighing softly, Lady Tremaine apologized, "Princess Audrey, I am sorry for their terrible manners. I will make sure they will mind their tongues when they are around you during your stay."

Adverting her gaze to glare at the mischievous couple, Lady Tremaine sternly instructed, "I want this kitchen spotless, and you two showered and ready for dinner by the time I finish the tour."

"There is only thirty minutes left of the tour," Mal advised with a knowing smirk. "If you two want to have enough time to have fun in the shower, I would hurry up with the kitchen."

Anthony turned a darker shade of red, though he still helped Harriet, who quickly went to work cleaning their mess. After the tour group went through the back door to the gardens, Lady Tremaine closed the door behind them before raising an amused eyebrow at the purple-haired fairy. "You are just as terrible as they are," she accused. "I thought the 'Lady of the Court' and 'Future Queen of Auradon' would have a little more class than that."

"Ben and I went through a similar situation during Spring Break," Mal informed with a careless shrug. "Queen Belle teased us about running off before a council meeting and we took her advice. It was one of our best times."

Audrey scrunched up her nose in disgust. "I didn't need to hear that. Let's just finish the tour so I'm not wondering aimlessly for two weeks."

Over half an hour later—as Mal and Jay had generously decided to stall for a few moments to give the couple some extra time together—the tour finally ended for the group.

When they returned to the dining room—having walked through the main entrance—Anthony and Harriett appeared to be freshly showered, as they now had some color to them. While Anthony carefully placed the food on the table, Harriet set the table with the finest plates and silverware they had. Every now and then, when they were close to each other the couple could be seen brushing up against one another in an intimate fashion, as though they were the only ones that existed in the room.

Dinner was much quieter than the group expected. Mal shared stories about the four newest transfer. To ease the tension in the room, Harriet announced she would be doing the dishes and volunteered Audrey to help her.

"I'm sorry about earlier," Harriet apologized with just a hint of insincerity in her tone. "Anthony likes to tease me while we're at school, since he knows I will only make a retort when we are home. He gets flustered when I mention us 'doing it' around his grandma. Trust me, he's not as much of a prude as he makes himself out to be."

"So everyone knows you are together," Audrey assumed. "Why keep your private life a secret? You don't want your father to know?"

"Oh, everyone knows we have sex with each other often," Harriet remarked as though the information was obvious. "My father doesn't care while my brother, who you will meet tomorrow, likes to give me a lecture every time he hears someone mention my relationship. I may be older than him by a couple months, but he acts like he is the older sibling."

"If you don't mind me asking, how are you only a couple months apart?" Audrey wondered curiously. "Did Captain Hook adopt one of you?"

"It is a long story, but we do have the same mother," Harriet began her tone growing soft. "First, when Auradon formed, my father was the only villain to not be sent to the Isle of the Lost because neither the guards nor Fairy Godmother could find him. He managed to escape back to Neverland a few years before Auradon was formed. When Auradon was created, Dad did sneak back to find Uncle Smee, but he found our mother instead and fell in love with her. She was much younger than him, only having turned sixteen a few days before."

Initially snarling her nose at the information, Audrey forced herself to fix her expression—grateful that Harriet hadn't seen her—before probing, "May I ask, who is your mother?"

Harriet sighed, already knowing what the reaction would be. "Jane Darling."

Audrey's eyes grew wide at the surprising revelation. "The Jane Darling?" She clarified. "As in Wendy Darling's daughter? But she is so much younger than Captain Hook."

"They fell in love," Harriet answered simply. "Aging is different on Neverland. A year there can be roughly ten years here, but that is always changing. During the time he hid in Neverland, Dad cleaned up his looks, worked out more, and looked like a much more mature version of Harry."

Audrey scrunched up her nose again, this time in confusion. "Harry . . . ?"

"My brother," Harriet explained. "Anyways, they fell for each other hard, but Dad constantly reminded Mom that they couldn't do anything because she was too young. And yet, Dad came back every day to see her without Wendy knowing, and without every being caught by Fairy Godmother. Eventually, just a few months later, Mom couldn't help herself any longer and came onto Dad. Dad managed to keep himself together for a few moments before he caved. Luckily, Wendy was gone when they had sex for the first time, which was when I was conceived."

"How did your grandmoth—Wendy," Audrey corrected, "find out?"

"She never knew Mom was pregnant the first time," Harriet claimed. "Mom managed to hide it long enough to give birth. Dad took me to Neverland to raise me there so Wendy would never know. When Dad visited Mom, he would bring me. I still remember the excitement in her bright blue eyes every time she saw me. With living in Neverland, I aged slower. By the time I started crawling, she was almost to full term with Harry.

"Dad was about to take Mom on her first trip to Neverland when she started to have contractions," Harriet recalled. "They were so close together that she had to have him there in the bedroom. Mom tried to stay quiet, but the pain was just too much for her. When Harry was finally delivered and in Mom's arms—with me in Dad's—Wendy finally walked in to see what the peculiar noise was about."

"I'm guessing it didn't end well," Audrey assumed.

"Wendy accused Dad of raping Mom," Harriet bitterly informed. "Mom swore to this day that never happened, but Wendy stubbornly refused to believe her. Dad knew Wendy wouldn't allow Mom to keep us, and he didn't want us to be taken away from him and each other, so he turned himself in on the condition that Harry and I would be taken to the Isle of the Lost with him. Of course, they agreed with Wendy forcing Mom to have no contact with Dad, or mention that she children."

A certain gleam appeared in Harriet's eyes. "However," she continued with an amused tone, "that doesn't stop Mom from writing to me and Harry every chance she gets. Every month, we try to send her a picture of us, so she would know what we will look like if we ever get the chance to go to Auradon."

Audrey stayed quiet as she mulled over her next few words carefully. "I'm sorry you had to go through that," she apologized lamely. "I personally don't have the best relationship with my mother, but no one should have to lose a mother like you did."

"There is a lesson you can learn from it," Harriet claimed. "Everyone on the Isle has their own story. Some are better than others, but not by much. If you are not careful, some will try to exploit you."

"What does that mean with you?" Audrey retorted. "Did you tell me your story so you can use me later?"

"Of course not," Harriet argued defensively. "I told you my story in hopes that you will become my friend. And, so you will see not everyone on the Isle is as bad as we are made out to be."

Pondering on her words, Audrey shrugged her shoulders nonchalantly. "I guess I can use a friend while I'm here for the next few days. It would be pretty lonely if I didn't interact with someone."

"Speaking of which, there are a few people that you will meet tomorrow after school," Harriet mentioned. "I already spoke of my brother, but he has a couple friends I think you will get along with. One friend—his unofficial girlfriend—is related to Mal while the while the other friend has a story too, which may be worse on the Isle."

"Speaking of stories," Audrey interrupted, purposefully changing the subject slightly, "what's the story with you and Anthony? How did you two become a couple?"

"I will tell you on the way to school," Harriet insisted, a smile gracing her lips. "Mal can help tell it, since she is the reason we became a couple in the first place. You must be exhausted from your day. Why don't you make yourself at home and I'll see you in the morning."
