It had been a few months since Oliver and Thea had moved to Earth 38 and things were going really good for them. Oliver was getting over Felicity and Thea was getting over Roy. Kara seemed to be getting over Mon-El as well. Late one night after the team got done with an alien, Oliver and Kara decided to go to the bar and just hang out for a while. Kara got her normal club soda and Oliver got a beer. The two of them had been doing this a lot lately and Kara was starting to see the Oliver that Barry always told her about. The one that wasn't always so uptight. She was really enjoying spending time with him.

"So, how was work today?" Oliver asked.

"It was good. Mrs. Grant got me to write a story on the superheroes that are in the city now. She wanted me to get an exclusive with the Green Arrow." Kara said with a laugh.

"I guess I could do that if I had to." Oliver said laughing as well.

"Well, being that we live together, and we now know a lot about each other I was able to answer most of the questions. So, I don't really need much from you." Kara said.

"Well, that is a relief. So, you don't need any more from me?" Oliver asked.

"No. Hey, I have an idea. Let's play a game that will allow each other to get to know the other better. Are you in?" Kara asked.

"Yeah, I think it is a good idea to get to know your teammate." Oliver said.

"Ok, so it will be like truth or dare except we only do truth for now. We might can do that later." Kara said and Oliver nodded.

"You first." Oliver said.

"Do you miss your old earth?" Kara asked.

"Yeah, I do at times, but it is good to have friends like you here. It makes it so that it is not so hard and now I am happy to be here." Oliver said.

"How are you doing with Mon-El being gone?" Oliver asked.

"It was hard at first, but I think I am getting over it. I kind of have to. It is not like he can come back here." Kara said.

"Do you have a girl that you are interested in?" Kara asked.

"I think I do, but I don't know whether to act on it or not. Do you have anyone you are interested in?" Oliver asked.

"I do. He is a nice guy, and I would like to give him a chance and see where things go. I just don't know how he feels." Kara said.

"He would be a fool not to give you a chance. You are a beautiful and smart woman Kara." Oliver said.

"It just hard to date someone with what I do." Kara said.

"I know what you mean. I am in the same boat." Oliver said.

They continued the game for a little while longer and then they decided that they wanted to add the dare to the game so that they could add some spice to the game.

"I dare you to have one of those beers that got you so drunk all those months ago." Oliver said and Kara went and got her the beer and drank it and she was already buzzed.

"I dare you to go and fine the woman that you are interested in and kiss her." Kara said.

Oliver got up and left the table and made his way across the room. This was just to throw Kara off though. He made his way back to the table and he kissed Kara. To say that she was surprised would be an understatement, but she soon returned the kiss. They were pretty much in full make out mode right now. Kara pulled back and looked at Oliver.

"Well, I have to say that I was not expecting that. Not that it wasn't good but still." Kara said.

"So, do I have to dare you to go and kiss your guy?" Oliver asked.

"You could, but I wouldn't have to go anywhere." Kara said as she began to kiss Oliver again.

"You know if we don't tone this down, we might end up doing something that neither of us are ready for." Kara said.

"I don't think that would be a bad thing, but if you are not wanting to do that I understand." Oliver said.

"Are you ready for that?" Kara asked.

"Not if you aren't. I will just say that I have been into you for a while now, but I didn't want to rush you after what happened to Mon-El." Oliver said.

"Thank you for that. I did need some time, but spending all of this time with you, I have become very fond of you. I don't know if I am ready for sex yet, but I will say that I am ready to date you." Kara said.

"Well, in that case, how about we do something tomorrow night?" Oliver asked.

"Sounds good to me. I think being that we have been making out tonight, we might as well consider this our first date." Kara said.

"I agree. So, when you get home tomorrow, we will head out to eat. Sound good?" Oliver asked.

"Sounds great. Now let's go home. I just realized something. I have a couch at home that is great for making out on." Kara said as she got up so that she could leave the bar. Oliver followed and got on his motorcycle and Kara got on behind him and they rode home to continue what they started earlier.

The next night they were on their date at a very nice Italian restaurant that Kara knew about through Mrs. Grant. Oliver was able to pay for this because he had a job at L Corp. He was working under Lena as the director of Applied Sciences.

"So, how is it working for Sam at L Corp? I know you thought you would be working with Lena, but Sam seems to be nice." Kara said.

"She is. She is easy to work with. It also helps that I have a little bit of experience running a city, so it is not that hard to just run a department. Which means that I don't need ask to many questions of her." Oliver said.

"Yeah, that is always good. Well, now that Lena is working at Catco a lot, it is good to see her all the time, but I don't know if I really like her as much as a boss as I do as a friend." Kara said.

"I think that is how it works. When Tommy and I worked together when I opened Verdant, we didn't get along sometimes. I think that had more to do with me being a vigilante though." Oliver said.

"Why would he fault you for being a hero?" Kara asked.

"I am not a hero Kara, and I definitely wasn't then. I had been known to kill some of the people that I went after. He called me a murderer. He soon saw that I wasn't, but we were both in love with the same girl and he knew that if she found out who I really was she would choose me, so he dumped her and that just made things even worse. On the night that was known as the Undertaking Tommy went in to save Laurel and he ended up being impaled by rebar. He told me as he was dying that I wasn't a murderer. I made a vow from that day that I would not kill again. I kept that vow until I went up against Ras Al Ghul. I knew I had no choice because he would keep coming back. I then went back to not killing, which was a mistake, and because of that Laurel died when we went in to stop Damian Darkh from escaping prison. I killed him for that. I have tried to do better since but sometimes I slip up." Oliver said.

"Wow, that's a lot to take in. This Laurel must have been very important to you." Kara said.

"I will always love her, but I need to move on now. Now I am going to do that with you. I want you to know that I am with you now and I won't let anything get in the way of that." Oliver said.

"I will always love Mon-El, but I am the same way now. I am with you and that is all that matters." Kara said.

"So, this seems to be going well. I got an invitation to Barry's wedding. I would like you to be my date." Kara said.

"You know I can't go back there Kara. I wish I could, but I can't." Oliver said.

"Oliver, you have Martian tech in your suit. That also works to make you look like someone else. So, it won't be a problem." Kara said.

"In that case, yes I will go with you. You might want to see if you can get a invite for Thea as well. I am sure she will want to be there." Oliver said.

"I will see what I can do." Kara said.

"Ok, well this has been a good night, but I think it is time to head home and then maybe do a patrol." Oliver said.

"I agree. We can't skip out on keeping the city safe, can we?" Kara asked.

"No, we can't. I had a good time tonight. Let's do this again." Oliver said.

"I can guarantee that we will do this again." Kara said as they left to go home and then go out on patrol.
