Kara and Oliver decided that they were going to take off the night from their superhero counterparts and go on a date. They were able to do this now that they had so many people on their team now. The team also knew that they could call, and they would be there with them if they did come up against something that they couldn't handle on their own.
"I really needed this. I need a rest after everything with the world killers and then having to take down those people who were trying to expose the President." Kara said.
"I know what you mean. So, get ready. I made us a reservation that we are going to be late for if you don't hurry." Oliver said and Kara sped off and was back within two seconds in a nice dress.
"Boy I love superspeed. So, are you ready to go?" Kara said.
"Let's get going. I have been looking forward to having a date for a long time now. Our lives just don't allow for that that often, so we need to take advantage of that when we can." Oliver said.
"I couldn't agree more. So, where are we going?" Kara asked.
"That Chinese place about a mile from here. I know how much you like it, so I knew that would be the place you would want to go." Oliver said.
"Oh, I love you so much!" Kara said then she blushed from her outburst.
"I love you to babe. Now let's go and eat. I already know that I am going to have to buy all of the pot stickers that they have." Oliver said.
"Damn right you are, and if you do that for me, I might give you a little something when we get home tonight." Kara said with a smirk.
"I was hoping that was going to happen anyways, but if I have to bribe you, fine I will do it your way." Oliver said and Kara laughed.
"You know I was just messing with you right?" Kara asked.
"Of course, I do. I know I don't have to bribe you. So, let's go. We have a fun night ahead of us. I was thinking we could go for a walk through the park after we ate." Oliver said.
"I love that idea. I am looking forward to it." Kara said.
They left the apartment and when they got to the restaurant they were seated, and they carried on general conversation until the waiter came and took their orders. They had a buffet there so that is what Kara got so that she could get all the pot stickers that she could eat. Oliver gets the beef and broccoli. They ate their food with Kara going back more than a few times to get more food. Once they were done eating, Oliver paid for the meal, and they went for the walk in the park. They just enjoyed the peace and quiet and walked in silence for most of the time that they were there. Every now and then they would talk about somethings that had been happening at work or things like that, but they were just enjoying their time together.
"So, are you ready to go back to the apartment and have that dessert we were talking about earlier?" Kara asked.
"I am ready when you are." Oliver said and the next thing he knows, he sees Kara look around the area and then she picks him up and speeds them back to the apartment and straight to their bedroom where they had sex for the next hour or so.
"Wow, that was better than I remember." Kara said.
"Well, it has been a while since we have been so busy. We need to make more time for each other whether it is for this type of thing or just to go on dates." Oliver said.
"I agree. So, it is still early. You want to watch a movie?" Kara asked.
"I like that. What did you have in mind?" Oliver asked.
"I always liked Captain America: The Winter Soldier. What do you think?" Kara asked.
"I am fine watching anything that you want. Go start the movie. I will get the popcorn." Oliver said.
"Sounds good." Kara said as she went to put the movie in, and Oliver went to fix the popcorn.
They settled down on the couch and got comfortable and turned the movie on. They watched the movie just enjoying being there with nothing getting in the way of them being together for the night. They would have to do the same for the other team members that were dating as well. It was only fair, and now that they saw that it was possible to do this it would be easier to do it and let the rest of the team have time off at times as well.
Once the movie was over, they started to kiss again which was about to lead to them ending up back in the bedroom again when something surprised them. A breach opened in the room and the last person Oliver ever expected to so again showed up in their apartment.
"What are you doing here Laurel?" Oliver asked.
"Everything has gone to shit on your old earth Oliver. The bad guys found a picture of me working with Diaz last year, so everything that I have been working for the past year is now all for nothing. Your old team is in trouble as well since I was the one who allowed them to work in the city as vigilantes." Laurel said.
"So, give me the breakdown about these bad guys you were talking about." Oliver said.
"They are called the Ninth Circle. From what Diggle told me, they are sort of like you League of Assassins. Cult like if you know what I mean. We found out that their leader is Emiko Adachi, who is a citizen of Star City. Here comes the weird part. She is your half sister Oliver. From your father's side. It looks like she has come for revenge on your family, but none of you are there anymore. Oliver your team needs you. They are holding them off for now, but it won't last for long." Laurel said.
"We will round up the team and go and help tomorrow. It is late and we will all need our rest for this. You can have the couch for the night. You going to come back and help us as well?" Oliver asked.
"It is now my city even though I am not from there." Laurel said.
"Good we could probably use another Canary Cry." Oliver said.
"And you will have it. I was hoping I could stay here once this is over. I can't go back there now that they know what I have done in the past." Laurel said.
"I have no problem with that, as long as you don't try to cause any trouble." Oliver said.
"I am on the straight and narrow now Oliver. I was doing good until your sister outed me for my old ways." Laurel said and Oliver nodded.
"I will go and call the team and tell them to meet us in the bunker tomorrow morning so that we can go to your earth and help your old team." Kara said as she picked up her phone and made the call.
"Well, never thought I would be going back to earth 1 again. This should be interesting." Oliver said as he waited for Kara to finish her call and then they started talking strategy for their fight that they were going to have tomorrow.
