Jaune had always dreamed of being a Hero, of being someone. But dreams were just that; for in the world of Remnant the Class you are born with determines your fate. Jaune was born a Blacksmith, and thus that was his destiny. But when a strange opportunity allows him to change that, can a simple Blacksmith become something more within the Beacon Academy for Heroes?

Jaune Arc, Field Agent of the VSS - Vale's Secret Service, or at least that's what he's been told. All he knows is that they found out about his faked transcripts, and now he works in the interests of the Kingdom. With terrorists on the horizon, not to mention a shady organisation and an even shadier group operating under Ozpin, what's a bumbling teen turned secret agent to do?

Pyrrha decides to do the same as Blake and rereads one of her favorite novels. And just like Blake's version, she has the characters swapped with people she knows. (I'm picking it back up)

Jaune is a Huntsman, sworn to protect the religious, fearful town of Vale from Grimm and all other creatures of the night. Pyrrha is a werewolf alpha who is expected to one day become the leader of her pack. Nature has made them enemies. Jaune Arc didn't know what to think when he got paired with Yang Xiao Long as her roommate. Granted, he didn't know what to think when he found out how loud she could be at night. Still, he was an adaptable guy and took it all in stride. So now why is it that she keeps stealing his jacket? And why does she hide in wait on his bed and beg him to have some fun?

Yang knew better than to look for love in a bar. She was neither foolish nor naive. But when a chance encounter leads to a meeting with a mysterious dancer that has her heart racing, it can be hard to resist. For Jaune, the life he wanted was that of a hero, but such a life required training and the money to pay for it. What is a man to do, but make use of the few talents he has.

He didn't know the first thing about teaching, Hell, he didn't even know the first thing about fighting! A shame then, that his forged documents painted the picture of an accomplished and skilled warrior. Now he's trapped teaching students his own age how to be hunters, when he doesn't even know himself!

Seeing that young man die in initiation was horrifying for her. Even with all her time in the White Fang, she hadn't expected to see such an idealistic man as Jaune Arc die like that. It should have been nothing more than a tragedy... Instead she's now stuck with the lingering spirit of this guy following her around, and no one else can hear or see him in any way. Jaune x Blake

Jaune Arc found something during Initiation he'd never expect, and with it, everything will change. Now he has the ability to become everything he ever wanted to be. But what is the difference between getting what you wish for, and getting what you want?

Pyrrha wasn't entirely sure what happened; she died, or so she thought. But if she truly died, how could she be standing here? And, more importantly, had she imagined the changes the darkness had made to her? After all, everything looks perfectly normal, doesn't it?

There was more to the story of the Four Maidens that Ozpin told Pyrrha. After the Fall of Beacon, Jaune isn't the same, he discovers his semblance and his true feelings too late. [ARKOS story. AU: Humanity has been driven off the ground in their fight against the Grimm, forcing them into spires that stretch far into the sky with airships as their main mode of transportation and defense. Jaune wasn't exactly Blake's type, but giving him a hand was the least she could do after he helped her out... it didn't have to mean anything - no matter what Yang implied! Also would Ruby cut it out with the knowing looks, I'm just returning a favour! Blake x Jaune realistic romance, focused on their times at Beacon Academy.

What would happen if Jaune had met some of his friends before going to Beacon, resulting in an unpredictable tragedy? A tragedy great enough to push him to do whatever it takes to protect the ones he loves? Follow your favorite students as they rise above to serve as beacons of light, illuminating the path through an ever darkening world. (Possible lemon, definitely dark moments.)
