They were on Ember Island outside Ozai's beach house. Aang practiced firebending punches. Zuko watched him with his arms crossed.

"More ferocious! Imagine striking through your opponent's heart!" Zuko snapped.

Zuko Stopped firebending and turned to Zuko while growling in irritance. "I'm trying."

"Now let me hear you roar like a tigerdillo!" Zuko cried.

Aang gave a light roar as fire bursts came out of his hands and mouth; and he had an embarrassed grin.

"That sounded pathetic! I said roar!" Zuko continued.

Aang roared even louder, as three bursts of fire came out of his hands and mouth. Momo ran and hid behind Zuko's leg in fear. Zuko nodded approvingly.

Kuri just laughed at them. Zuko came over and grabbed her face. "Stop laughing!"

Kuri giggled more. "You're cute when your mad."

Zuko growled and blushed, making everyone else laugh. "STOP LAUGHING!"

Zuko whirled and flamed at Aang.

"What are you doing?!" Aang dodged.

"Teaching you a lesson!" Zuko attacked again. Aang jumped back up to the house. Zuko went after him, continually firing blasts at him. Kuri came over and watched.

Katara, Kuri and Reiko run after them, the latter dragging Sokka. Zuko chased Aang onto a tree and sent another fire blast at him, forcing him to jump onto the roof of the beach house. Zuko subsequently climbed onto the roof with him.

"Get a grip before I blast you off this roof!" Aang yelled.

"Go ahead and do it!" Zuko cried.

Zuko blasted fire at him. Aang slid down the roof and into the house. He hid behind a dresser. Zuko broke the roof with firebending and dropped into the room. He took a fighting stance and looked around for Aang. Aang kicked the dresser at him, but Zuko destroyed it. Aang ran into the hall. Zuko augmented fire into the hallway. Aang cleared his part of the hallway from the fire using airbending.

"Enough!" Aang yelled.

Aang airbended Zuko out of the house. Everyone approached Zuko.

Katara was worried. "What's wrong with you? You could have hurt Aang!"

"What's wrong with me? What's wrong with all of you? How can you sit around having beach parties when Sozin's Comet is only three days away?" Everybody looked at Zuko. "Why are you all looking at me like I'm crazy?'

"About Sozin's Comet ... I was actually gonna wait to fight the Fire Lord until after it came." Aang admitted.

Zuko was shocked. "After?!"

"I'm not ready. I need more time to master firebending." Aang said.

"And the others too." Reiko pointed out.

"So, you all knew Aang was going to wait?" Zuko asked.

"Honestly, if Aang tries to fight the Fire Lord now, he's going to lose." Sokka said. Aang looked over to Sokka as he says this, frowns, and closed his eyes in defeat. "No offense."

"The whole point of fighting the Fire Lord before the Comet was to stop the Fire Nation from winning the War, but they pretty much won the War when they took Ba Sing Se. Things can't get any worse." Katara finished.

"For the record, I disagree with all of this." Kuri said.

Zuko treated her to a rare smile and then turned a grave look on the rest of them. "You're wrong. It's about to get worse than you can even imagine. When the comet comes, my father is going to use it's power to end the Earth Kingdom."

A shudder ripped through Reiko and everyone could see the fury of the spirit within her. "WHAT?!"

Katara sang to her knees. "I can't believe this."

"This is madness." Kuri said. "Evil. I knew something was wrong, but this…"

"What am I gonna do?" Aang asked.

Zuko Stood up from his rock seat and walked to Aang. "I know you're scared, and I know you're not ready to save the world, but if you don't defeat the Fire Lord before the comet comes, there won't be a world to save anymore."

"Why didn't you tell me about your dad's crazy plan sooner?" Aang Walked away.

"I didn't think I had to. I assumed you were still going to fight him before the comet. No one told me you decided to wait." Zuko glared at me.

"Sorry, my bad." I grinned, and Zuko's glare softened.

Aang was Holding his head with both hands. "This is bad." Aang Sank down to his knees. "This is really, really bad."

"Aang, you don't have to do this alone." Katara said.

Reiko, Kuri, and Sokka stood next to Katara.

"Yeah, if we all fight the Fire Lord together, we got a shot at taking him down." Reiko said.

"All right! Team Avatar is back! Air. Water. Earth. Fire. And Sword!" Sokka grinned.

"Fighting the Fire Lord is going to be the hardest thing we've ever done together, but I wouldn't want to do it any other way." Aang said.
