I wanted to explore the point of view of the background characters in stories who make sacrifices but are unfortunately forgotten. In this case I wrote about the woman who protects the vials in Black Widow, and frees Yelena from the mind control she had previously been under. I know it says this is an avengers story, but that's just because BW wasn't there. Oneshot, complete.
