Sookie woke up once more in her home, only not in the bed she had grown used to over the years. She was back in her childhood bedroom, the room that had not changed since she was a child, same bed, and all. As she came fully awake, she realized with hope that it must have worked, first reaching out with her brain before moving, she sense her Gran was bustling around the kitchen making breakfast and thinking about the laundry that was hanging outside she would need to take down after breakfast was cleaned up.
For a few moments she just reveled in the brain of the only real mother figure she ever had growing up, loving the familiarity of the brain, and the time she would now have to spend with her just made her smile even more. With happy thoughts bustling through her, she jumped up and had to hold herself back from running to the kitchen as she went to lay eyes on her grandmother for the first time since she was killed by Rene.
Walking into the kitchen her Gran greeted her like any other morning unaware that this morning was so completely different than the mornings Sookie had experienced in the last few years . Sookie played along, recalling the conversation they were having from when they had it the first time, hearing the town gossip from her with rapt attention just enjoying the time together they were having not ready yet to burden her with tales of the future to come.
Though before returning to her room to get dressed for the day, she did hug her gran for dear life for just a moment, and her gran asked if she was okay, and all she could say was "I just, feel grateful for what life has given me that's all, and I love you so much Gran" "Oh well Sookie, I love you too, and life truly is a blessing from God, and I cherish each day he continues to give me" and with that she patted me on the arm and went about putting away everything from breakfast, thought Sookie did make sure to promise that she would come and do the dishes for her after getting dressed and not to strain herself doing them after making them both breakfast. After that Sookied headed back to her room, making her way down the hall.
As she walked into the room she noticed a beautiful wooden trunk with solid gold hinges and latches waiting on the floor of her bedroom that She did not notice earlier when she rushed from the room. This must be what Niall meant about providing what she would need. Excited to see what was in it, Sookie rushed through throwing on clothes, checked her work schedule she had written down on a napkin at work that was sitting on her vanity noticing that she has the day off, and she was indeed a month back from the exact day she will meet Bill for the first time.
Knowing she had the day to go through everything and having already promised to herself she would help her Gran more around the house, she went to do the dishes before her Gran decided to do it herself and helped her carry in the laundry she had just finished taking down before making her way back to the trunk that had occupied her mind since spotting it earlier. What could her grandfather have given her? How would it help her navigate the thick waters of the next few years so she didn't end up right back where she was before?
Finally done assisting her grandmother with a few household chores her grandmother decided to settle into her chair in the living room, and Sookie tried not to seem too eager as she made her way to her room to explore the trunk.
Opening it she found a few items, a book that she could sense magic from which made her think of what he said about her being full fey, but she did not feel different, but she was sure that would be explained in here somewhere. Then there was a beautiful silver looking jewelry box, a black binder that seemed to contain some kind of legal papers, a sack of different materials, and on top of it all were three letters, one with her name one with Niall's and surprisingly one with Erics. She picked up hers and opened it carefully, seeing a letter from her grandfather she read it carefully.
My dear Granddaughter,
It pains me I could not make things right for you before, but I hope to make up for it here and I am so glad I could send you back to hopefully give you the time you need to live the life you deserve along with get to know the Granddaughter I wasn't able to before. Now that you are safely in the past, here is a full description of the situation you now find yourself in back in time. As I said, you have been infused with my magic spark to make you full fey, I have put a time delay on that so you should be feeling that change after you sleep the first time in the new timeline, since I am old and very powerful, you will have the ability to immediately control these powers as follows; teleportation like all other fey, masking your scent, and masking your Faery appearance like I can, and have control of your Faery Magic as you have seen your cousins and I use it but with that and the boost to your spark, your current ability of telepathy will be enhanced, as I understand it you will now be able to not only control the power more by being able to only hear the people you choose to listen to, you will also be able to hear Were's just as clearly as a human when you choose, as well as now vampires. I know that must scare you but as long as you are secretive with the ability and do not reveal the extent of its reach you should be fine, I know you will do well at masking your reactions and emotions as I have seen you do and as long as you do not seek out a vampires mind it should be kept silent to you. With you now being full fey but having been born not so, you will still have your added benefit of retaining your human immunity to lemons and iron.
Once you have fully given yourself to the Viking your magic will choose him as yours again and seal your attachment so when you are ready be prepared. With that in mind you must accept you are now more Brigant, than Stackhouse, you will need to identify as such, and you will need to come into the Supernatural world as Sookie Brigant, Faery Princess of the Sky Fey, claiming your heritage while it could put you in danger from my enemies, I have enclosed a letter for you to give to myself to help solve this issue for us both. When you are ready and alone, make your way to where the portal stands out in the clearing and call my name 3 times and I will feel your call and come to you, present me the letter and I will know what to do from there.
I have enclosed a few possessions for you to help you along the way. First there is the Book- Sookie takes the book in hand as she reads through his description, I did not have time to explain it to answer your question before we were attacked but with this book it has all the events written in that could possibly be of importance from the last few years starting with when Bill moves into the area, 3 weeks before going into Merlottes to encounter you directly. This should guide you a bit through things and make it easier to prevent certain events. As you can probably tell however, the book has more than that to it as you can see the magic it holds, the book will either update the dates as events are changed or erase them completely if they will no longer come to pass as you change the future. Now it will not update just because you make the decision to do something, so you cannot rule out plans while making them, but at the very least it will prepare you before something else happens. Now, onto the Jewelry box- Sookie easily moved on to the box as if her great grandfather where actually there handing it to her to change topics, but not before admiring the book that would hopefully save her loved ones and already planned to read through it more thoroughly once she had finished going through everything in the trunk.
She opened the Jewelry box and found a beautiful Necklace with a Silver chain (stylish and practical) with a beautiful ruby stone, not too big to draw attention but beautiful in its own right, with a matching silver and ruby ring, though the ring seemed to be just as magical as the book, so she turned back to the letter, as she fiddled with the jewelry. These two pieces are gifts from me out of love, the necklace, though beautiful, has nothing special other than a vampire deterrent with its silver, and that it matches your ring to keep it from sticking out. The ring is the true gift, it is storage of sorts, and can store any items you want, which are safely kept in another dimension when in the ring allowing you to never be short anything you could need for future events as long as you have added it to the ring and are wearing it. To store items within it, simply tap it twice on the stone and it will be stored, and to call the item to you when needed, simply think, or speak the item you need, and it will be available to you. I have enclosed some basic items that could assist you with your endeavors. Putting the jewelry on Sookie grabbed the bag and looked through the contents and found; stakes, liquid silver, liquid iron, lemon juice, a taser, and a 9mm pistol with a 100 round box of silver and iron mixed bullets which labeled to have wooden centers. Looking over the items she thought over all the times these items would have been so wonderful to have and was already thinking of the things she wished to add along with them such as a cellphone once she could afford one, as well as some extra clothes and shoes that are more comfortable should she need them. She quickly tested the ability, tapping each item in the bag to the stone twice and marveling at it disappearing effortlessly. Then she thought of the taser coming into her hand and again without effort it was there as if it had always been there.
She wondered idly how much space was available to her in the other dimension so she would know how many items she could store, while pondering this she finished Niall's letter to her. You will also find a binder full of legal documents, they are the businesses lately owned by your Grandfather and my son Fintan, which are now yours. I want NO argument over them being yours, you are my kin, and I wish to take care of you, and if you are to bond once more with the Viking, you shall go into it as equals. The papers should tell you that you are now the proud owner of the Yakonomo Corporation which as you know invented the synthetic blood for Vampires, as well as the company that manufactures products for fairies such as a cream for our skin to prevent the affects of iron and a nasal spray to help with the affects of lemon's which at your new time is under development but should be available within a year for distribution. There are board officials already in place to oversee the companies, but they are yours so there is nothing you will need to do, just file these papers with Desmond Cataliades and that will be all the work needed regarding those. You also have your trust funds setup for you with your birth right as a Brigant that once you are in contact with Desmond, he will set you up cards and accounts to access it, just contact him when you are ready to establish everything.
I wish I had done this much for you the first time, but I am glad to have the opportunity to do so now in your new time and I would like to start getting to know you here as soon as possible unlike before. Please take the enclosed letter addressed to myself to where the portal is located on your land while you are alone call my name 3 times and that will alert to me of your presence and your wish to contact me and I shall come to you. Once I have the letter I will be caught up on events and be able to handle some of the situations to come to make us safer in Faery and for you on earth. I hope to see a much better life for you this time my dearest granddaughter.

All the information was overwhelming, and though the idea of taking money from anyone sounded like something she had not earned and didn't belong to her, he was family, and he was just trying to take care of her the only way he knows how. She had been thinking of ways to approach Eric and had considered offering her services as a telepath to start her own business to start making real money, and while she still planned to do so, she now knew she would not need to be dependent on anyone including Eric to get the ball rolling to be able to afford to get started at offering her services and that thrilled her to not have to be dependent on someone else for her income, remembering how much she struggled at times when having to take off for vampire business and then having to scrimp to get through to her next full pay check once she was back.
After going through all the contents and tucking everything but the jewelry into her closet, she had already added everything from the bag to the ring earlier so that was done, so she just put on the jewelry with the plan to never take them off, just in case. She knew she could not keep all the details to herself if she was going to be wearing the jewelry around her grandmother so she would need to inform her Gran of her being there from the future not only because her grandma would ask about the jewelry once she saw it, but as well as to have someone to talk to about everything. Walking back out of her room she followed the thoughts of her grandma to find her in the garden pruning her rose bushes. Donning some gardening gloves, Sookie went out to help, getting on her knees next to her grandmother and starting to pull the weeds around the flowers.
"Hey Gran, um, I have something to tell you" Her grandmother didn't even stop in her task of trimming the dead flowers as she inquired "Alright honey, whatever you need to talk about, I'm listening" and Sookie knew she had her attention, and it made her feel so good to know she would possibly get more time with her grandmother once she dealt with Rene. Shaking her head to dispel the memories of the murders of Maudette, dawn, her grandmother, and her cat tina she vowed to do her best to prevent them all as best she could, then she started to explain to her grandma the circumstances that caused her to even be there in the first place. She told her about Rene, Bill, Dallas, Mississippi, Rhodes, Eric, Freyda, everything that would occur between now and when she came back. Told her she had been an idiot when it came to love until it was too late and that she missed her grandmother so much in the moments when she felt so alone in the past years without her.
Then she told her about how she knew about Fintan and Niall and what Niall did to bring her here and all the things he gifted her, all while they worked the bushes and her grandma listened quietly. Once she had told her everything that had happened, she looked to her grandmother to see her reaction and to see what she would make of the situation Sookie found herself in. "Oh Sookie, you sure have lived a life with more pain that any one person should go through, and I am sorry I was not around to help you through it. What have you decided to do now that you have this second chance?" having read what Niall said she knew where she needed to start, "First I need to deliver the letter to Niall and get with Mr. Cataliades to get everything established, and then from there I really want to get the ball rolling with Eric, I love him so much Gran, and I have wasted too much time already in regards to our happiness together, I know I can take on everything that will come to pass since I have already lived through it once but I plan to do more than survive through it, I want to thrive in this life and I know I can't do that without him by my side." smiling here grandmother nodded, "Sookie if you love him, I am sure I will too once you bring him around, and you know what is to come so I trust your judgement in these matters, just let me know what you need from me honey and I'll be here".
Sookie hugged her grandmother tightly, reveling in her hold and her complete trust in her that only her grandmother could offer to make her feel understood. After explaining everything, they fell silent for a few moments just gardening together, then Sookie's grandmother asked about the information Bill gave in the first timeline from his time in the war at her descendants of the glorious dead meeting, making Sookie chuckle at her grandmother's enthusiasm for all things historic and went over what she remembered from Bills recollections. She had already decided she did not wish to have any relationship with Bill, she no longer hated him, but he was not worth the hassle of befriending in the long run with all that comes with him, the database, Sophie-Anne, his maker and all the heart break he brought her. She would instead choose to avoid him as best she can, and not be as forth coming with her telepathy to hopefully send him right back to New Orleans, but she would talk it over with Eric once she spoke with him.
With Eric now on her mind she started to plan how to approach him and decided she would work with Mr. Cataliades to write up a contract for her telepathy for her to present to Eric, hoping he could promote her to other Supes, offering her services for a fee and coming off as business like and up front as she could to the Supe community could only be for the better and hopefully prevent other vampires from feeling the need to snatch her for themselves. With these thoughts in mind she finished helping her grandmother with her gardening as they chatted about the weather and other light conversation, coming down from the heavy information she had just shared.
