I wrote this one for my hubby who thinks Willow and Xander would make a great couple and asked at the end of season six, 'Do you think they'll hook up now'. I figured no but in fan fic there's no reason they can't so this one's for him. Xander's stuck for a date to a formal gathering so he calls on 'Old Reliable' with unexpected complications.

Willow's life and thoughts after the season six ender 'Grave' and her time in England with Giles. This is a very angsty tale that deals with subjects like death, suicide and other rough stuff. Be warned. While this is not a Willow / Giles pairing they are together for most of this fic.
