Prologue

Uatu the Watcher Speaks….

In a time past, I granted you all a glimpse into an alternate earth. That reality diverged from our own after Spider-Man saved his love, Gwendolyn Stacy. He prevented the Green Goblin from his own triumph. Then Norman Osborn seized control of himself and moved forward with his son. Peter Parker and Gwendolyn married in a splendid ceremony.

For once in the young hero's life, everything seemed to go his way….

Pity it could not last….

The Daily Bugle's Publisher, J. Jonah Jameson, spoiled the wedding ceremony. Your police were to arrest young Parker. He'd exposed the hero's secret in his publication. He gloated at the scene he caused…

…May Parker collapsed….
