Chapter 17: Newlyweds And Abductions
Around midnight, Reid and JJ returned home from dropping off Diana, Henry and Sandy from their wedding. They both walked up to the front door. JJ put the door key in the lock.
"Wait," said Reid. "Allow me."
Reid turned the key and unlocked the front door and he turned the latch opening the door for JJ.
"Always a gentleman," warmly smiled JJ. "Thank you, Spence."
JJ was about to walk through the front door first.
"No, JJ," said Reid. "Please wait."
"What's wrong?" asked JJ.
Reid answered, "This is officially our first time coming home as Dr. and Mrs. Reid, so..."
Reid unexpectedly swept JJ off of her feet. She happily gasped. Reid carried JJ inside the front door.
"...it's traditional for the groom to carry his bride over the threshold," smiled Reid.
JJ happily laughed while loving the gesture.
"Dr. Reid," lovingly smiled JJ. "You've swept me off of my feet in more ways than one! I love you."
"I love you, too, Mrs. Reid," smiled Reid.
Reid kissed JJ gently and she put her hand on Reid's face and she kissed him back. Reid closed and locked the front door behind them.
The following morning, Hotch and Beth woke up together in Hotch's bed. Morgan and Prentiss woke up together in Morgan's bed. Garcia and Sam woke up together in Garcia's bed. Rossi gave Hayden breakfast in bed in Rossi's bed before Kai, Joy and Shawn woke up.
JJ and Reid's wedding clothes were trailing on the floor from the inside of the front door, up the stairway and into their bedroom. It was 7 am. JJ woke up naked in their bed under the comforter and she saw her husband lying next to her, also naked and sleeping so peacefully. JJ looked at her wedding ring on her finger and she tearfully smiled at Reid while watching him sleeping.
"Oh, my love," JJ thought to herself. "You wonderful man! I thought our getting married last night was just a dream. But, we did it! We're officially husband and wife, now. Thank you, Gideon for bringing Spence into my life in the first place and for trying to matchmake us. Thank you, Dave for our surprise wedding and for walking me down the aisle. Thank you, Penelope for orchestrating the family wedding for us and for being my maid of honor. But most of all, thank you, Spencer Reid! Thank you for being my first love. Thank you for always being my best friend. Thank you for always loving me just as much as I've always loved you. Thank you for always finding a way to make me laugh whenever I felt like crying. Thank you for forgiving me for all of my past mistakes and for helping me forgive myself as well. Thank you for loving Henry like he was your own son. Thank you for helping me make another baby for us to love. And thank you for being my soulmate and for giving me the most amazing sex I've ever had in my whole life! I will never take our relationship for granted and I will never let anyone take you away from me ever again! You're mine forever, Spence and I am yours forever. I love you and I always will!"
JJ kissed Reid on his cheek to wake him up. He opened his eyes to see the most beautiful woman in the world to him smiling at him with a glow. Reid smiled back at JJ.
"Good morning, Mrs. Reid," whispered Reid. "What's making you smile so much?"
"Good morning, Dr. Reid," smiled JJ. "I'm...just enjoying the view of my gorgeous husband lying naked right next to me!"
JJ and Reid gently kissed each other's lips.
"Oh?" said Reid. "Can I enjoy viewing my beautiful wife lying naked right next to me?"
JJ giggled quietly.
"What?" asked Reid.
"You called me your wife," smiled JJ. "Say it again, Spence, please?"
"Jennifer," said Reid. "I called you my beautiful wife!"
JJ happily kissed Reid's lips while giggling.
"Thank you, Spence," whispered JJ. "And, you can view me naked. But, I want to do something with you first."
"What's that?" asked Reid.
"I want to take a shower with my husband," said JJ. "We've never showered together before and I want to show you just how much fun it can be."
"You...want me to wash your back?" asked Reid.
"Oh, Spence," smiled JJ. "I want you to wash my entire body! And I want to wash your entire body!"
"Okay, JJ," said Reid.
JJ got up on her feet and she placed both of Reid's hands into her hands and she pulled him up and off of the bed.
"Come on, honey," smiled JJ. "My mom has Henry for a couple of days. So, no clothes allowed until further notice!"
The two soulmates happily showered together for the first time. JJ taught Reid all of the benefits of showering together with the person who you love. Then, Hotch sent them both a text to come in to work at 9 am. So, they both got dressed and drove in to Quantico. They were riding the elevator together up to the sixth floor.
"Awww. I was just starting to get used to seeing you naked around the house," happily whispered Reid.
"Don't worry, lover," whispered JJ. "When we return home, we can continue the no clothes allowed rule!"
JJ felt naughty and she grabbed Reid's behind with her hand making him scream and jump. Reid looked at her.
"Careful, Mrs. Reid," warned Reid. "We are at work! If you try that again, I might have to take you right here in the elevator!"
JJ's eyes widened and she grinned. She was about to grab Reid's behind again when the elevator doors opened on the sixth floor.
"Damn!" JJ thought to herself. "Now, we have to wait until we leave Quantico!"
JJ and Reid walked through the glass doors happily glowing. Hotch walked up to them in a serious manner from his office.
"You two," said Hotch. "Conference room, now!"
JJ and Reid followed Hotch upstairs to the round table room.
"What is it, Hotch?" asked JJ.
"Do we have a new case?" asked Reid.
Hotch led JJ and Reid into the round table room with Garcia, Rossi, Prentiss and Morgan waiting for them.
"No," answered Hotch while smiling. "We have a new case!"
"You two have the next week off!" smiled Rossi.
"What?" asked JJ.
"You newlyweds have a honeymoon to go to!" smiled Garcia.
"What?!" smiled Reid.
"We all chipped in and got you two a honeymoon trip," smiled Morgan.
JJ happily gasped.
"Including Kate, Ashley, Alex, Jordan, Cruz, Anderson, Stephen, Hayden and Joy," smiled Prentiss. "Consider it a wedding present from the entire family!"
"Oh, you guys!" smiled JJ.
"I love you guys!" smiled Reid.
"Baby Girl?" said Morgan.
Garcia took her clicker remote and she started playing a photo slideshow of Las Vegas on the big screen.
"Dr. and Mrs. Reid," smiled Garcia while mimicking a game show announcer. "Per honeymoon fantasy request by JJ, the two of you will fly out to Spencer's hometown, Las Vegas, Nevada and have an all-expense paid trip and much deserved vacation time away from any unsubs in the Bellagio casino hotel in the Las Vegas strip! You two will spend five days and five nights in a luxury honeymoon suite with room service and a beautiful window fountain view of the Las Vegas strip. Plus, you will have a guided helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon and the Hoover Dam. Plus, dinner and a show at any venues the two of you would like to attend! Plus, a rental car for Spencer to use to show his lovely Jennifer the Las Vegas strip, Downtown Las Vegas or any place in Las Vegas where Spencer grew up in! Or, the two of you can just stay in the honeymoon suite for five straight days and nights having lots and lots of sex!"
Everybody looked at Garcia. Morgan laughed. Reid blushed from Garcia's last sentence while JJ's eyes widened and she grinned at Reid.
"Penelope!" laughed Prentiss.
"I think I now know why she missed her calling as a game show announcer!" said Rossi.
"Oh, I don't know," smiled JJ. "She just made me feel like I've won the grand prize: Plenty of alone time with my husband!"
Garcia gave JJ and Reid their printed plane tickets and their printed Bellagio hotel reservation. JJ and Reid happily hugged everybody goodbye. Garcia had the BAU family prepare one more wedding tradition for Reid and JJ with a bag of rice and some cups.
"Okay, everybody," smiled Garcia. "Let's give a proper sendoff to Dr. and Mrs. Spencer Reid!"
At the elevator, Hotch, Rossi, Garcia, Morgan and Prentiss all threw rice at JJ and Reid while whooping and cheering. JJ and Reid were entering the elevator while laughing as the elevator doors closed.
"They got rice all in my hair!" laughed JJ.
"Me, too!" laughed Reid. I think they got rice down in my suit!"
"Oh," said JJ while calming down. "We'd better get a move on, Spence. We have four hours to pack and say goodbye to Henry before the plane takes off."
"I can't wait until we get there, Mrs. Reid," smiled Reid.
JJ stepped in front of Reid to press the parking garage button. Reid grabbed JJ's behind with his hand which made her jump up while gasping. JJ's mood shifted. Her heart started pounding and she started breathing hard. She turned around and looked at Reid with a mean smile.
"Okay, Dr. Reid," growled JJ. "You asked for it!"
JJ hit the elevator stop button, stopping the elevator which set off an alarm bell. JJ jumped on Reid while wrapping her arms and legs around him and she hungrily kissed him. Back on the sixth floor, Hotch and Rossi were walking back to the round table room while Garcia, Prentiss and Morgan stopped walking from hearing the sound of the elevator alarm bell ringing.
"No way!" said Morgan.
"I don't believe it!" said Prentiss.
"I told you guys they would try having sex in the elevator," smiled Garcia. "You two each owe me $20!"
Morgan and Prentiss paid Garcia her winnings. They both walked back to the round table room while laughing. Garcia listened through the elevator doors trying to hear JJ's cries of ecstasy. Hotch noticed Garcia wasn't walking back to the round table room.
"Garcia," said Hotch. "Conference room, now!"
Garcia sighed, "Yes, sir."
Garcia walked back to the round table room.
"They're going to have a great time!" giggled Garcia.
The newlyweds quickly redressed and came out of the elevator in the parking garage. JJ was happily snuggling Reid as they walked over to JJ's car.
"Oh, my God!" whispered JJ. "That was wonderful, Spence!"
"Wow!" said Reid. "I guess our honeymoon has started already, JJ."
JJ grabbed her Spence's face and she happily kissed him.
"Oh, my love," smiled JJ. "Our honeymoon started the first night that we made love! Our honeymoon will continue going on for the rest of our lives!"
JJ and Reid's plane landed in Las Vegas, Nevada in the early evening. They checked into their honeymoon suite and they looked out the window at the Bellagio fountains shooting up into the air from down on the strip. They both went to bed from jet lag. The newlyweds took a helicopter guided tour of the Grand Canyon and the Hoover Dam their first full day in Nevada. The next day, Reid took JJ out in a rental car. They drove past all of the museums, observatories and schools that Reid went to while growing up. They drove slowly past the park where Reid used to play chess in when he was 4 years old. And, they drove slowly by the house where Reid and Diana lived in until Reid was 18 years old. When it got dark outside, they stopped the car at a ghost town Reid knew about and they both romantically looked up at the stars together for a few hours.
The next day, Reid and JJ went down to the casino game room to play slots. With Reid's brilliance, they both won $5,000. They quit while they were ahead and put their winnings into the baby fund. Then, they went out to dinner and enjoyed a show together. The next day, Reid and JJ walked down the Las Vegas strip taking pictures together in front of the casinos. They collected souvenirs for their family back in DC. And, they took a picture together in front of the famous "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas" sign.
The final day, the two soulmates stayed in the honeymoon suite all day making love and calling room service for food. They were both naked and resting in bed under the covers in each other's arms from hours of passionate lovemaking. Reid smiled at JJ happily cuddling in his arms with her eyes closed.
"You wonderful, beautiful woman," Reid thought to himself. "I keep thinking that I'm going to wake up and find out that my marrying you was just a dream. But, every time I wake up, you're always right here with me! Thank you, Gideon for trying to matchmake us. Thank you, Rossi for bringing JJ into my life in the first place and for our surprise wedding. Thank you, Morgan for being my big brother and my best man. Thank you, Hotch and our whole family for our surprise honeymoon trip. But most of all, thank you, Jennifer Jareau! Thank you for coming into my life. Thank you for being my best friend. Thank you for always loving me just like I've always loved you! Thank you for making me your Spence. Thank you for always worrying about me whenever something bad has happened to me. Thank you for always being there for me. Thank you for giving me a wonderful godson who is now my stepson. Thank you for giving us another child to love. Thank you for always loving my mom like family. Thank you for always seeing something special in me that I never could see myself. Thank you for always brightening up my day with your beautiful smile. Thank you for always being as beautiful a person on the inside as you are on the outside. Thank you for forgiving me for all of my past mistakes. Thank you for showing me that a beautiful woman like you could fall in love with a guy like me. Thank you for becoming my wife, my soulmate and my personal sex instructor. I love you, Jennifer Jareau and I always will. I will never take our relationship for granted. I am yours forever."
Reid stroked JJ's hair from the top of her head and JJ happily moaned from his gentle touch. It gave her goosebumps.
"Mmmm," smiled JJ. "That feels nice, Spence."
"I love you, Mrs. Reid," whispered Reid.
"I love you, too, Dr. Reid," whispered JJ.
Three months later, the BAU team went to St. Louis, Missouri to help two out of three abducted girls who were held captive in a house for around ten years. One 18 year old girl, Gina Bryant was able to break out of the basement that they were being held prisoner in. Gina flagged down a police car and led them back to the house to help the 15 year old girl named Sheila Woods because she was very sick. The unsub abductor escaped in a blue van with a 23 year old girl who he renamed Violet.
Morgan and Rossi went to the house to profile the unsub abductor. Hotch, Prentiss, JJ and Reid went to the hospital to interview the two found girls. Doctor Givens told Sheila's mom, Eileen Woods that she was resting from surgery. Sheila had complications from having a miscarriage and went septic from the infection. Doctor Givens gave her an emergency hysterectomy. He told Hotch and the team that Gina was healthier. She was mildly sedated from the PTSD she got from her captivity. She also had a couple of cuts on her from the broken basement window she crawled through to escape the house. And, both girls had several scars and bruises on their bodies from years of abuse by their abductor.
Garcia called Hotch saying that the house belonged to a 108 year old lady named Clara Riggins. Hotch called Rossi and Morgan for an update. The unsub took very good care of the house and he told any neighbors around that he was Clara's grandson. Rossi and Morgan found a bloody mattress on the basement floor and bloody torturing tools and a torture rack behind a curtain. Morgan profiled that the unsub was an OCD control freak and that he must be good at building things. Rossi profiled that he probably met Clara helping her repair something in the house. And, he took control over the house after Clara died from old age.
Reid suggested to Morgan that a sketch artist could draw the unsub's face from the neighbors's description. Because Gina might not be comfortable around men, Hotch had JJ and Prentiss talk to her. Gina told them that she went to a park one day when she was 8 years old to get away from her bullying foster mom and kids. Violet helped the unsub take Gina from the park. And then, he brought Sheila into the house a couple years later. The unsub called himself "Tom," and he tried to rename Gina "Rose," and Sheila "Daisy." Violet always talked about "the disappearing place" where Tom would take her to. Gina never went there, but Sheila went there once. Tom had the girls planting flowers in the house's backyard at night in Clara's honor. Rossi and Morgan found Clara's body buried in the backyard.
Morgan sent Prentiss a sketch of the unsub's face on her cell phone screen. The medical staff were called into Sheila's room by an emergency alarm. JJ, Prentiss and Gina joined Reid outside of Gina's room. The four of them saw Eileen tearfully begging the medical staff not to give up on her daughter. JJ held Gina down in a hug as Doctor Givens said that Sheila had died from her miscarriage complications. Reid introduced Eileen to Gina. Gina tearfully apologized to Eileen for failing to help save Sheila's life in time. Eileen tearfully thanked Gina for escaping from that house because otherwise, Sheila would have died in that horrible monster's prison instead. Gina and Eileen hugged each other. Hotch told Eileen that they were doing everything that they could to catch Tom.
Garcia called Hotch identifying "Tom" as Michael Clark Thompson, a construction owner with a registered blue van. Hotch, Prentiss and Reid compared Tom's photo from Garcia to the sketch on Prentiss's phone screen. They were a match. JJ showed Tom's photo to Gina and she confirmed that he was the unsub abductor. The APB on Tom's blue van quickly paid off. Morgan and Rossi joined the police in surrounding Tom's van. At gunpoint, they got Tom to open up the driver's door. Tom tried to run, but Morgan tackled him. Rossi opened up the back of the van and found Violet. She remained quiet on Tom's orders just in case they were ever found. Because Tom broke his arm when Morgan tackled him, both he and Violet were taken to the hospital.
JJ, Prentiss and Reid told Violet about them finding Sheila and Gina. When they told her that Sheila had died, Violet turned around and cried quietly for a minute. But then, she wanted to leave the hospital with her daddy, Tom. Hotch talked to Tom. Tom claimed that he saved the girls from a life where nobody cared about them. He also claimed that he found Clara Riggins dead in her kitchen floor one day, so he buried her in her backyard like she would have wanted. Reid got the coroner's report confirming that Clara died from old age, not murder. JJ mentioned how anxious Violet was about leaving to go somewhere. Holding her baby belly, JJ theorized that Violet might have succeeded in having a baby where Sheila failed in having one. And, Tom was keeping the baby someplace else to keep Violet in line.
Garcia called Morgan identifying "Violet" as Amelia Hawthorne. JJ talked to Violet about Amelia while showing her photos of little Amelia and her mom, Maureen and her dad, George on an iPad screen. Then JJ tried telling Violet that she was Amelia, but Violet didn't believe her. JJ asked Violet if Tom ever got her pregnant. Violet was afraid to answer at first, but JJ assured her that Tom wouldn't hurt her anymore. Violet said that her belly grew big two different times, just like JJ's belly was growing big now. She said that she had two "sisters" come out of her and they were named Lily and Jasmine. Violet said that they were in the "disappearing place," but only Tom knew where it was because she was always sitting in the back of that van whenever he drove her there.
Prentiss greeted George and Maureen Hawthorne when they arrived at the hospital. Dr. Givens wanted them to wait before introducing Violet to her real parents. But, because Lily and Jasmine might not have much time, Hotch, JJ and Reid agreed that Violet needed to learn the truth now. JJ and Prentiss introduced Violet to her real parents. Violet said she didn't know them. Maureen and George had brought more family photos of the three of them together along with them. But, Violet kicked them both out screaming for her daddy, Tom. Prentiss walked George and Maureen out of the hospital room while JJ tried calming Violet down.
Hotch told Tom that they learned about Lily and Jasmine. Tom wanted to make a deal. He wanted a fancy jail to spend his time in and he wanted no life sentence. And, he wanted to say goodbye to Violet. Hotch refused until Tom said that he only gave Lily and Jasmine enough water for two days a week ago. Tom didn't care if they lived or died, but he knew Hotch would care. So, Hotch agreed. Rossi and Hotch walked Tom to Violet's room passing by George, Maureen and Eileen. All three parents wanted to get Tom alone in a room where they could kill him for what he did to them and their girls.
Violet asked Tom if he got the groceries for Lily and Jasmine. Tom told Violet that he couldn't drive her to the "disappearing place" anymore. And that he was there to say goodbye. Violet asked Hotch if she could hug Tom and he let her. Then Rossi had Prentiss bring George and Maureen back in. Rossi told Tom that George was her real daddy. Tom said he was Violet's real daddy. Then, Violet remembered George calling her "Melly" when she was little. She said her real name was "Amelia" over and over while screaming at Tom and angrily hitting him. Hotch and Rossi dragged Tom out of there while Tom yelled that the deal was off. JJ hugged Amelia while Prentiss, George and Maureen proudly smiled at Amelia.
JJ theorized that Tom bought groceries for Lily and Jasmine at a grocery store near the "disappearing place" that they were in. Morgan called Garcia asking for names of Tom's senior clients who lived near a grocery store. The BAU team believed that Tom held the two girls in another deceased senior's house just like the three found girls were held in Clara Riggins's house. Garcia found an address for a retired 84 year old nurse named Fredna Nasee, who didn't have much phone or email activity. Hotch sent Morgan and Prentiss to her address to check it out. Morgan and Prentiss cleared the rest of the house and they found Lily and Jasmine locked down in the basement. Lily was awake, but Jasmine was unconscious from dehydration.
Morgan and Prentiss brought Lily to Amelia's room while Dr. Givens was helping Jasmine. Amelia and Lily happily hugged each other. Then, JJ and Reid brought Maureen and George to Amelia's room and introduced them to Gina, Lily and Jasmine. Because Reid and JJ told Maureen and George that Gina was the one who was able to escape from that house and bring back help, they decided to adopt Gina into their family of five. The six of them group hugged each other in front of Morgan, Prentiss, JJ and Reid. Then, they all heard a gunshot outside. Morgan and Reid pulled out their guns and left JJ and Prentiss inside Amelia's room protecting the family. They found out that Eileen Woods had shot Tom in the hallway when Rossi and Hotch were escorting him to jail. She felt that prison wasn't good enough for her daughter's abductor, rapist and murderer. Eileen peacefully put her gun down on the floor and Hotch handcuffed Eileen and he took her to jail instead. Morgan, Rossi and Reid watched Tom die lying on his back on the hallway floor in a pool of blood.
The BAU team flew home from St. Louis in the jet. Hotch was writing his end of case report. Rossi was taking a nap. Reid and JJ were relaxing together in each other's arms. And, Morgan and Prentiss were talking about Tom's murder.
"I can't believe that Ms. Woods killed Thompson, Emily," said Morgan. "Now she's going to go to prison instead of him."
"Oh, I don't know, Derek," said Prentiss. "The jury might be sympathetic to Eileen when they find out why she killed Tom. If your mom had shot Carl Buford dead for him molesting you, I'm willing to bet that the jury would have had her sent back home in time to give you and your sisters her prized peach cobbler for dessert!"
Morgan and Prentiss laughed. The following evening at 9:30, JJ and Reid were at home relaxing in bed. JJ put Reid's hand on her pregnant belly.
"Our daughter is kicking a lot tonight, Spence," smiled JJ.
"Like a soccer player?" asked Reid while looking at JJ's baby belly. "Rose, are you going to play soccer just like your mommy did?"
"'Rose?'" said JJ. "You want to name our daughter 'Rose,' Spence? Like Tom renamed Gina 'Rose?'"
"Uh, no," said Reid. "Actually, 'Rose' is short for 'Rosalyn,' your sister, JJ."
JJ tearfully gasped. Her heart soared.
"I love it," cried JJ. "And, I love you! Roz would have been honored! But, her middle name must be 'Diana,' for your mom!"
Reid smiled and looked down at JJ's baby belly.
"What do you think, Rose?" asked Reid. "Do you like the name 'Rosalyn Diana Reid?'"
JJ laughed and kissed Reid's cheek. JJ's cell phone rang.
"Crime never sleeps," sighed JJ as she picked up her phone.
"Agent Jareau," answered JJ. "Hotch, what is it? - What did she say? - What?! - Oh, no! - Spence and I will be right there!"
JJ hung up her phone. She gently put her hands on Reid's hands while looking at him.
"What's wrong, JJ?" asked Reid.
"Spence," said JJ. "Get dressed. We have a family emergency! Emily's called Hotch. She said that Morgan has been abducted!"
"What?!" asked Reid.
"Morgan has been abducted!" repeated JJ.
JJ and Reid quickly dropped Henry off at Hotch's apartment with Beth and Jack. Hotch redirected JJ and Reid over to the supermarket parking lot where Prentiss said that Morgan was calling her from. Reid and JJ found Morgan's car, his dropped grocery bags and his smashed up cell phone. But, there was no sign of Morgan. Reid and JJ took Morgan's smashed cell phone to Quantico in an evidence bag. Hotch walked out of his office to them in the bullpen.
"What did you find?" asked Hotch.
"There's no sign of him," answered Reid. "But, whoever took him left his smashed phone and his car in the parking lot. Could Emily tell us anything?"
"She said she thinks that she heard one attacker and that Morgan started sounding like he was drugged before they cut off the phone call," answered Hotch.
"Then it's a coordinated planned attack," said JJ. "Most likely professional."
"Well, we did take down a professional group of hitmen recently," said Reid. "But if this is blowback from that, why target Morgan?"
"We have to assume that we're all targeted," said Hotch. "I put protective details on each of our families, but I think that Emily should stay here."
"How's Emily doing?" asked JJ.
"She's being brave," answered Hotch. "She insisted that Dave give her a cognitive interview to see if she's missed anything."
Hotch, JJ and Reid looked up at Rossi and Prentiss through the window of Rossi's office. Rossi was giving Prentiss a cognitive interview.
"...and, I heard a man telling him, 'Watch where you are going!'" said Prentiss. "Derek said, 'What?' And, the man said, 'You heard me! Watch where you're going!' And, Derek said, 'You got a problem?' I asked Derek was he okay and who was he talking to. And, he said, 'Yeah, nobody. Just some hothead!'"
"Emily," said Rossi. "Did you hear any other voices over the phone?"
Prentiss thought back a moment to remember if she had heard anybody else talking from Morgan's end of the phone.
"Yeah," answered Prentiss. "I heard another man saying, 'It's taking too long. Are you sure you got him?' And, the first man said, 'Yeah, see?' And, the second man said, 'He must be strong!' I asked Derek what was happening. He told me that he was in trouble. He started sounding like he had been drugged. He asked me twice to call Hotch. And then, I heard somebody hitting or kicking him! Two or maybe more men were attacking him! And then, I heard an operator saying that we had been disconnected! And then, I called Hotch."
"This means that Morgan was professionally targeted by somebody," said Rossi. "You did good. I'll tell the team. You can stay in here for as long as you need to."
Rossi put his hand on Prentiss's shoulder. Then, he left his office to tell the others what Prentiss said. Prentiss put both of her hands on her mouth while gasping. Her heart was pounding. She started nervously pacing the office floor.
"This must have been the way you felt after you found me staked by Doyle, huh, Derek?" thought Prentiss to herself. "I'm sorry, baby. This is not a good feeling to feel!"
Prentiss's heart was breaking. She emotionally left Rossi's office and she went into the ladies room and she tearfully looked at herself in the mirror.
