"It is up to you, Busy. We could go to the City Hall, Las Vegas, or have a small get-together with our friends and family. It is totally up to you." He said, shrugging. "Whatever you want. Your wish is my command." He said with a half smile

"I see…" I muttered biting my lower lip as I thought of all my options.

I knew for one we had to do this alone, for two reasons really. One, I hated being the center of attention, and two, I wanted this to be intimate. Always have, actually.

"How fast do you think we can do this?" I asked quietly.

"It depends on what you want to do." He replied, pulling out his phone before looking up at me.

I turned to stare at him in a deadpan expression before answering. "Vegas. Now, how fast?" I asked, pacing the length of the room.

He looked up at me, before nodding and tapping on his phone screen. Turning his back to me to make a call.

I didn't bother to listen in, as I quickly rushed to the closet and grabbed a medium leather tote, before quickly folding two pairs of pants, a blue blouse, some flats, and three sets of underwear, before walking out of the closet.

Edward had disappeared for a few moments before appearing again with a black duffel.

I ignored his presence and disappeared once again into the closet, pulling off my sweater, and leggings before pulling off the rest of my clothes.

I slipped on a pair of fresh deep blue, lacy underwear, and slid on the one-shoulder, peach-colored, T-shirt dress, and the new white-colored converse.

My hair was already hanging in natural beach waves, so I only pinned the sides away from my face, before turning to apply some eyeliner, and soft rose matte lipstick.

When I finished applying the makeup, I grabbed my light jean jacket and made my way back into my room.

Fifteen minutes later, we were driving down the driveway and the airport to board a flight that would take us to Las Vegas.

"So, who did you call?" I asked, in a feeble attempt to fill the silence inside the darkly tinted windowed black Nissan Armada.

"My dad." He replied, driving onto the highway.

"Your dad? What for? Is he going to meet us there?" I asked him, confused.

"No. I just called to inform him so he isn't thrown off guard. Now, do you want to drive or fly there?" He asked me, as he pulled into a gas station.

I closed my eyes to weigh my options.

Get into an air pressured cabin in the sky or be stuck in a car with this delectable specimen? The latter.Definitely, the latter.

"Drive. I am not much of a fan of airplanes…" I muttered as I heard him hum before getting out of the car.

"You got it." He replied as we both listened to the engine hum to life, before he pushed the car into drive. "Vegas here we come." He said as he quickly made his way onto the one oh one.

Seventeen And A Half Hours Later:

The drive to Las Vegas was uneventful.

Edward played music on the way, only stopping to buy us something to eat.

We reached the edge of the town sometime late at night, and checked into a hotel.

"Did you want to change or something?" He asked.

I frowned looking down at my clothes. What was wrong with what I was wearing now?

"No, let's go." I said.

He smiled, before he grabbed my hand, and led me out of the room and back to the car.

He then drove to a jewelry store.

That is where he proceeded to buy the rings for us as I stood off to the side, leaning just outside the door, enjoying the lights of the city.

"So, what's a pretty lady like yourself doing out here all alone?" A male voice suddenly asked me.

I snorted, "Not paying attention to you, that's for sure." I replied as I heard the door open.

"Well, why not?" The guy demanded, as he reached for me.

"Don't fucking touch me." I growled, snatching my hand and moving away.

"Hey, love, are you ready?" Edward asked.

I turned, looking back at him, expressionlessly.

"Hey buddy, the lady and I were talking." The man growled.

"No, we weren't. Now, make like the wind and leave." I snapped.

Edward frowned, lifting a brow at me silently asking me if I was okay, as I shook my head at him.

He sighed, dropping the small boxes in his jeans before walking over and straightening to his full height.

"If I were you I would walk away." The man threatened.

"You're bothering my fiance. So, that's going to be no." Edward replied coolly.

The man laughed before he tried to throw a punch.

Edward dodged his punch, before sharply grabbing the man's arm and twisting it at an awkward behind his back.

"You messed with the wrong girl, buddy" Edward said.

Then he proceeded to do the hottest thing I've ever seen. He kicked the guy's ass, defending my honor.

Holy shit. How the hell can one reaction be such a turn on?

He didn't let me think too much about it, because once he was done, he went back in the store to call the police, and then we left.

An hour later, we stood in front of a large Elvis impersonator.

I was wearing a wrinkled veil and large sunglasses, and Edward was wearing a baseball cap backwards as we both read our vows.

Fuck it all, if I didn't feel happy when we both said I do.

It was a wedding come true for me, and I had Michael Newton to thank for that.
