Welcome to the next chapter!
wellingtonlucas282; Thank you!
Onxio; You never know~
Nirvash Neo; Yuki's younger than Tomura is. Thanks very much! He does yeah, he'll be interacting with her pretty soon~ Here's the next chapter!
Darth Simp; They do yeah, we'll see what happens between them pretty soon~ Yeah, Yuki's experiences will allow him to see something is going on with Eri when they finally meet one another. Yuki doing that would be nice yeah.
MBS41; Thanks! Yeah, they'll be meeting very soon~ We'll see how that goes~
ShadowUzumaki55; He is yeah, and yeah, he thinks those two with him would be the best. He does yeah, he knows more about his Grandmother now, so we'll see how a meeting between them is going to go pretty soon. Yuki knows his name, he doesn't use it as you said, to distance himself from his past, like how he doesn't use the name Shimura, plus the name Yuki means a lot since Katsuki gave it him.
Silver crow; Thanks! Seems he is yeah. They'll have proper conversations pretty soon. Since Yuki was pretty much sleepy when that happened, all he felt was the bed shaking. Yeah, All Might had quite the light bulb moment. Yeah, they dealt with the press for a short time. Yeah, pretty much quite like a job interview. All Might's quite proud of Yuki's achievements yeah. Himiko's pretty chill yeah. Yuki's made his feelings about Kotaro pretty known to All Might. He could connect some dots. We'll see how the USJ goes pretty soon. I'm sure Tomura will have some reactions when finding out about the history of AFO and Yuki. I'm sure that AFO would be worrying if New Order and OFA came into contact. Yuki could have a little vacation there. AFO could do yeah. Tomura and Yuki's bond is gonna be quite interesting to see going forward. Yeah, they could lead each other to victory during that test. He could have some thoughts about the Inasa and Shoto stuff going on. Thanks for the harem suggestions. Yeah, they could form a team! Maybe she is yeah. Could do.
djinn; Yeah, they surely did. Yeah, it's gonna be quite interesting to see what happens next~
Arondight888; Thanks very much! Glad you liked those moments! Yeah, she really was huh, it was sad what happened.
Andrew123456; Yeah, in time we'll find out his real name.
Momo fan; Yeah, he did! Momo is yeah. He's had some training with Gran Torino. Yuki will discover it soon enough. Thanks for the harem suggestions!
Guest; Maybe yeah.
With those reviews out of the way, it's time to start the chapter!
Going to the USJ!
For the next two days, nothing that eventful happened around U.A, life had become something rather peaceful.
Though Yuki kept wondering when it would be when he'd finally get to speak to his Grandmother, he hadn't been able to see her in his dreams since that day.
But there was a thought that Yuki had been thinking about for a little while, which now was becoming more and more prevalent within his mind, and that was about telling Katsuki about One For All.
He knew deep within his heart, she'd accept it almost instantly, that she'd be okay with him getting the power. Even though she did admire All Might, she also knew that Yuki did as well, and due to the past that they had together, Yuki could see Katsuki being able to offer a unique perceptive, and even be able to train with the power more than they usually could do together.
More than that, Yuki knew that she was smart, and because of that, she might be able to begin working things out for herself, since she knew him more than pretty much anyone.
She pulled her head up from his chest, and yawned.
"Tired Kacchan?"
"Well, we did stay up last night quite late." Yuki gave bemused eyes. "So, what are you doing after school today?"
"Eh, I haven't got anything planned. Why? Wanna do something?"
"I was thinking that we could do some training, and then later on we could come back here."
Saying it with a mixture of determined and suggestive undertones, Yuki's lips curled upwards, and lightly pressed his lips against her own in a brief, but tender kiss, before they mutually agreed to pull back, and lay on the bed together, her head resting on his soft yet manly chest.
"I'd quite like that Kacchan."
Katsuki smirked while placing her head on his chest, allowing some of her fingers to run up from his navel towards the area that she was resting on, then laid a small kiss on his chest, before allowing herself to simply relax on his chest.
They didn't have to rush, since there was a good deal of time before having to get up, and go towards school.
"By the way Kacchan, do you just live here now?"
"Basically, speaking to the Principal, I'll have my stuff moved in pretty soon."
"And did he say anything about this? You know, us staying in the same room."
Katsuki laughed it off.
"I didn't mention it, he didn't say anything."
"Well, All Might knows, and he's fine with it so I guess it's alright."
"Yeah, no problems then. Now lets relax for a little while..."
Yuki didn't have a problem with that, and merely leaned back, showcasing a small smile on his face, and rested peacefully in the bed together with Katsuki, enjoying one another's silent but comforting company at the same time.
Later on that morning, as the others were getting ready for their day at school, Yuki saw that All Might had rushed out from the kitchen. He was wearing an apron, looked to be covered in flour, and he looked a little tired.
As Yuki slowly ate his breakfast, All Might's eyes zoomed across the entire living room/dining room type area, until his eyes met with Yuki's own, and his face became brighter, rushing to the young man's side.
"Here you go Young Yuki!"
All Might beamed away as he presented Yuki with a lunch box.
Though most might assume with the amount of Hero activity that he had done over the past how many years he had been active, All Might wasn't a bad chef at all, in fact he was quite elated with how well All Might seemed to be able to cook and prepare simple but tasty meals for the bentos.
"Thanks All Might. So..."
"I was thinking Young Yuki, perhaps we should go to a carnival!"
"Carnival?"
"Yes!" All Might continued to beam away. "Wouldn't that be an interesting idea to do?"
"Well, you aren't wrong, but you know All Might..." Yuki looked around to make sure they were alone, which they were. "...is something wrong? You've been acting a bit odd over the last few days. Is it because of Grandma?"
All Might scratched his cheek while looking slightly nervous.
"I suppose a little bit."
Yuki believed he knew what it was.
Before, All Might was quite caring, but now knowing that his Master's grandchild was chased by the same person that killed her, it seemed to have made All Might feel many complex emotions, due to the fact that unlike how before he hadn't known Yuki prior to meeting that first time, since he knew of his Master's child…
Yuki could see why that would bring such a turmoil.
"And my Father, right?"
All Might gave a small laugh.
"Perhaps you're right. Am I acting too weird?"
"Not at all, I understand why you feel the way you do." Yuki began with a kind tone as he pulled closer. "You don't have to feel sad, or feel like you're responsible All Might. As I said that day with you and Gran Torino-san, what's done is done, the past is in the past, we have a future to look forward to now. No one can change the past, no matter what they try, so you have to keep looking forward."
All Might always felt at ease when Yuki showed his kindness, and his good heart.
The way that he would offer some comfort to him, was something that All Might truly did appreciate.
"Yes, you're right. I do feel guilt inside of me...but as you said, the past is the past, it can't be changed now."
"Exactly, what can be changed is what we do in the future, and how we go about that future."
Yuki nods with a kind smile.
"Yes, exactly All Might. So don't worry, and though I haven't seen Grandma yet, I'm sure that when I do, I'll do my best to speak with her, and if not, I'll try and communicate with her somehow. I'll do my best to see what it is that she wants."
All Might nodded, he thought that was for the best.
He then heard his phone go off, and saw that it was a call that meant someone needed help.
"I'm sorry to suddenly leave you, but there's something going on."
"Sure, I understand. Go and do your best."
All Might saluted Yuki, and dashed off.
Yuki gave bemused eyes, before disappearing to get ready for the day.
Yuki went through the school day casually, doing his best in his school work. So when the day had finished, Yuki was getting some stuff from his class, and was going to meet up with Katsuki, when he saw Jiro stood in the room, packing some stuff away.
But as she did, she tried to push some stuff of hers inside, only for the contents of the bag to come out as Jiro accidentally let go of the bag, and her stuff spread onto the ground.
"Damn it."
She cursed, as Yuki moved closer.
"Here, let me help you."
Jiro's eyes turned to Yuki, who smiled at her.
She was taken aback, but appreciated it while remaining aloof as much as possible.
"Thanks."
Yuki smiled and helped her pick some stuff up.
As he did, he noticed that she had a magazine about different types of musicians. More than the usual pop that he had seen his classmates like. He saw some from rock, and other genres of music, which made him wonder what kinds were her favourite.
So he handed the stuff back to her, which she thanked him for.
"If you don't mind me asking, I couldn't help but notice a magazine of yours, it seems that you really like different types of music?"
Jiro looked shy, she didn't really get to speak about herself often.
"Ah well...yeah, I guess."
"What's your favourite? Or, do you just like a bunch?"
"Hmm, haven't thought about it. I like rock, I think that's kinda obvious though."
Yuki blinked, as Jiro gestured to her bag, so he looked and saw the different kinds of rock like accessories, Yuki nodding slowly.
"Haha, I see. I'm not exactly, savvy about this stuff."
"Couldn't tell." She laughed which Yuki did as well. "By the way, can I ask you something?"
Yuki didn't mind, so nodded.
"What is it?"
"W-Well...on the first day...of class, I heard, you singing..."
Yuki looked mildly surprised to hear that, but didn't deny it either.
"Ah, I was...ooh yeah, I was...sorry, it probably wasn't good-"
"What are you talking about?" Jiro said in disbelief. "It was really good. Your voice has the right mixture of soft, smooth, toppled with roughness that gives you quite the unique voice. I enjoyed it a lot."
Yuki blushed in slight embarrassed, he didn't think he was a good singer, but if Jiro said it then he smiled.
"Well, thank you very much Jiro-san, I appreciate it. Maybe I could hear you sing sometime? If you do that is. Or maybe if you play an instrument?"
"Eeh, that's gotta be a no on the singing, I would get so embarrassed. But I can play some instruments, I'd feel embarrassed about playing in front of others..."
Yuki chortled.
"Ooh I see, but what about if it was just with me? We'd do it so no one else could hear, I wouldn't want you to be embarrassed."
Jiro thought about it, and while she still felt some embarrassment come over her, she also thought that since she heard him, that maybe he could hear her as well sing.
"W-Well, if it is was just you...I guess that since I did hear you...it wouldn't be so bad I guess..."
Yuki bowed his head.
"Great! Ooh, I'd love to expand my knowledge on music, got any recommendations?"
Jiro hummed for a few moments, then she took out a pen with some paper and wrote some down, before giving it to Yuki.
"They're some of the best of their genres, at least from my perspective anyway. I've put a few down that are diverse and interesting, see what you like."
"Thanks very much!" Yuki beamed, then looked at the time. "Damn, Kacchan's gonna be wondering where I am. It was great speaking to you Jiro-san, when I've given them each a listen, I'll tell you what I think~"
"Yeah, make sure you do."
"See you tomorrow Jiro-san!"
Yuki grabbed his stuff, said his goodbyes to Jiro and left.
As he did, Jiro adopted a small smile, before leaving herself.
The next day, Yuki was determined to speak to All Might regarding the situation with Katsuki, but when he came out of his bedroom, and looked to the living room, he saw that All Might seemed rather tired, so he walked over kindly.
"All Might, you okay?"
"Aha, I'm fine! Just had a busy morning, that's all."
He replied as he let out a yawn, Yuki furrowed his brows.
"Not pushing yourself too hard?"
"Hey, aren't I the adult around here?"
All Might joked, Yuki lightly smiled.
"Doesn't mean that I can't worry about you." All Might laughed quietly. "So, how long have you got left?"
All Might knew what he meant, so he answered truthfully.
"Ah, well I should be good for another hour maybe. It's been quite hectic this morning, more criminals than usual have been appearing. I would say it is some kind of operation if they didn't appear to be random."
Yuki furrowed his brows as he sat down next to the blonde Hero.
"How so?"
"I don't know, people with rather strong Quirks appearing in places that have good counters to the Hero's that usually are around that sector of the city, and needed my assistance. I don't think it is anything like what I've suggested, but it could be looked at like that you know?"
"I see, hopefully it is just random occurrences, but if it is something you're genuinely worried about, maybe contact some other Hero's, and alert them to what you're feeling right now. It could help lighten your load."
"Yes, perhaps you're right. I have to also think like that. So Young Yuki, got anything on your mind?"
Yuki did, but he didn't want to burden All Might at that moment, so he shook his head.
"Not anything that can wait for a little while."
"Hmm, you sure? I don't mind if you do? I can tell by your face, that something is on your mind."
"That easy to read, am I? I used to be so good at hiding what was inside of me as well~"
All Might showed a toothy grin.
"I don't know if you've lost anything, I think it's because I know you more now. So whatever it is, you can speak about it with me."
Yuki wasn't sure, since he didn't want to put anymore stress onto All Might.
But All Might insisted, so Yuki brought him outside, alone so they could have a private conversation.
"Well, what I wanted to talk to you about was...Kacchan."
"Relationship advice?"
All Might teased, Yuki embarrassingly blushed, shaking his head side to side.
"No, nothing like that! It's just...eh, about something regarding my power...you know...with Kacchan and all, how do I say this..."
"You want to tell her, don't you?"
Yuki released a small breath, glad that All Might saw it right away so he didn't have to speak more about it.
"I've thought about it...I know it's a secret, I know the more people that know...but she isn't stupid. She knows my Quirk better than anyone else, she might know that something isn't right. Plus, with her knowing about our connection, she might begin putting dots together."
All Might could see the young man's concerns.
But he also could see that it was difficult for him to keep such a secret from Katsuki.
"Yes...it's a difficult decision, I can understand that well. I had to be very careful when I chose who to tell and who to conceal it from."
Yuki nodded.
So tough.
He hated lying to her, he also knew that this secret was something that was something that needed to be held close to the chest for the time being. Yuki had to make sure that the right people were told, and he genuinely believed that Katsuki was one of the right people that could be told about this.
"I know...it's a dilemma that's been going on inside of my head for a while now. I don't like lying to her, she was...one of the first people that was kind to me. I know that she's a smart girl, and she might even have some input that we didn't think about...but I know you're reluctant to say anything. I wont say anything to her if you think it's best...it's a secret that effects both you and I."
He didn't like it.
Lying to someone that had been there for him, when many others weren't.
Who had helped him in many ways.
More than simply being a friend, but had been someone that helped him understand certain things when no one else had bothered, and someone that he really did like, and want to be around always.
He knew this decision was something All Might also had to think about, so he thought it would be best to get his thoughts.
"I'm sorry Young Yuki, I don't mean to put you in such a predicament."
"It's okay...it's just hard, you know? I...don't like it, but I understand why such a secret would have to be kept..."
All Might didn't want to make Yuki have to feel like this.
He was torn, he didn't know what would be the right decision to make.
All Might then exhaled.
"Yes, such a hard dilemma, one that I'd never want you to have to experience. So Young Yuki, I think that it would be best to follow your instincts, and we can speak about what you think is best afterwards. Lets discuss it and think it over before doing anything okay?"
Yuki thought that was the best way they could do it.
"You're right...I don't want to place her in unnecessary danger...but I know, she'll eventually figure it out. She knows me, and my power...she must be thinking something like "How the hell does his power go from controlling the ground and creating shapes from objects to giving him degrees of super strength and speed?" you know? I think with others, like Uraraka-san and Himiko-san, they don't know everything about my Quirk, so keeping it from them is easier to a degree, but Kacchan must know something is not right."
All Might truly did get what Yuki was saying.
It was very plausible in what he was saying.
Katsuki out of everyone probably would be able to put the dots together better than most would be able to do, due to the knowledge she had on Yuki. If he was without a Quirk beforehand, and she knew him, then maybe it would be easier to accept, but since she knows of his Quirk, and what it can and can't do to a degree above most, it would make her wonder what truly is going on.
And seeing the unsure feelings on Yuki's face, how it would be clear that he didn't want to lie to someone that he really did care for, was a dilemma that All Might wouldn't wish on anyone to have, and All Might himself couldn't say he hadn't ever told anyone about the Quirk either, as he had told a few trusted people.
Perhaps, this was one of Yuki's trusted people, like he had with Nezu, and Sir Nighteye, and others beforehand.
"You're right, I can't say you're wrong at all. Okay Young Yuki, lets leave it for a few days, and then if you feel the same, then we'll discuss it with her."
Yuki nodded.
"Thank you All Might."
Yuki knew it was something that had to be a guarded secret for the moment. But he also felt torn because he really did care for Katsuki, and lying to her again, after having to lie about his status when he was on the run, it wasn't something that he enjoyed, in fact he truly did hate it.
He also knew she was smart, and that she was going to work it out sooner or later.
It was clear to him that would be the case.
Just then, All Might received a call about another Villain attack.
"Well, I've got to be going Young Yuki. No rest for me huh."
Yuki showed a kind smile.
"Remember to don't push yourself too hard. You are still human All Might, you need to remember to relax as well."
The level of care Yuki had for All Might made the older Hero adopt a bright smile.
"Yes Dad, I'll do what you say~"
Yuki chuckled lightly.
"Okay then son, have fun~"
The pair laughed at the others jokes, glad that they could have such an open and friendly dynamic with one another.
Arriving in class, Yuki laid his elbow on the desk, his head in his open palmed hand and his eyes cast out of the window. All of a sudden, he felt a little tired. He didn't know why that was, he had slept regularly that evening and the morning he didn't do anything too strenuous, but right now, it felt like he could sleep for a little while.
He could hear the chatter of his classmates in the background, he could hear Himiko was having a good time, he also heard the likes of Katsuki snipping at a few people, with some laughing it off, and some taking it on.
Momo noticed the tiredness that Yuki was displaying and leaned forward.
"Is everything okay Yuki-san?"
Yuki's eyes cast towards Momo, smiling softly.
"Yeah, just feel a bit tired, not sure why."
"Not sleep well?"
She offered, Yuki shook his head.
"I wouldn't say that, I think that I did sleep rather well. I'll be okay, I'm sure that it's just stuff catching up with me haha."
"Lets hope."
Yuki continued to smile, when Aizawa came into the class.
Everyone went to their ordinary seats, though Katsuki casually sat on his lap.
Yuki thought that Aizawa would have said something.
But surprisingly, all he did was calmly look on.
But shockingly, it seemed that Aizawa didn't seem that bothered.
In fact, he merely brushed it aside when he looked towards them.
"Today's training is going to be a little different." He began, glancing over the class before continuing on, seeing that everyone was listening. "You'll have three instructors. Myself, All Might, and another faculty member will be keeping tabs on you as you do the assignment for today."
Most of the students became perplexed, Tenya questioned it.
"Sir, may I ask, why three?"
Yuki wondered if it was because of him, and the possibility of All For One suddenly coming when they weren't on school grounds. That made the most sense to Yuki. Though it also could be simply about him teaching in the class.
Aizawa however seemingly dispelled any other questions about it.
"It's just a safety precaution, that's all. Don't worry about it."
Tenya simply nodded, while Yuki raised his hand.
"Sensei, may I ask what we'll be doing today? Is it battle training again? If it is against Sensei's, may we pick who we fight?"
Yuki did train with All Might a good deal, but the idea of fighting him with the other students, it was like a dream come true for the young man.
Aizawa however shut that down, and replaced it with something else instead.
"Today's training isn't going to be fighting a Sensei, at least I'm sure that it isn't supposed to be. Knowing how he can be, All Might could turn it into something like that. But no, we'll be doing this."
He placed his hand on his desk, and picked up a large card.
The card that he held up a few seconds later had a single word written in blue, which said 'RESCUE' in big bold letters.
Seeing that, caused the students in the class to light up their eyes with extreme happiness.
"Rescue training. You'll be placed into different situations. Shipwrecks, fires, and natural disasters among things of that nature."
"Totally! I'm on board with that!"
Mina cheered, as Tsuyu smiled.
"Finally, I'll be able to show how good I am in the water ribbit."
"Aah, this is going to be for the men! The manliest challenges! It separates the men from the boys! I'm shaking with excitement!"
Kirishima added strongly while Himiko placed her hands together, and turned to Ochaco.
"Ochaco-chan, I'll rescue you don't worry~"
"Aah, that's so sweet, I'll do the same for you~"
The girls giggled, while Yuki glanced at Katsuki.
"Kacchan, you have experience in this, you already saved me."
Katsuki smirked and nodded.
"Damn straight."
Just then, Yuki felt a tap on his shoulder.
He looked back to see Momo leaning forward.
"Hey Yuki-san, I wonder what challenges we'll have during the rescue training?"
Yuki hummed in slight bemusement.
"I don't know. I do hope it is a challenge, it probably is going to be stuff like car wrecks, or broken buildings I'd wager. Plus, what Aizawa-sensei said, it could even be like ship wrecks, and burning areas, things that we'd have to face in cities and outside of them."
"Yes...you've got a good point, rescue would be from disasters that happen in everyday, not just in the line of Villains, but car crashing as you said I could see. Or maybe even within watery settings, I could see that too."
"If it's water, I'm gonna have to pass it to Tsu-chan~"
Hearing that, Tsuyu raised her head, and looked towards Yuki.
He waved towards her, so she waved back quietly.
"Hehe, yes, I'm sure she'd be good in water~"
Momo and Yuki smiled at one another affectionately.
Aizawa watched as the class talked amongst themselves for a few moments, before he sighed outwardly.
"I'm not finished yet." The classes attention went back to the sleepy looking man. "What you wear is up to you, however even if you wear your costumes, take into account that you aren't used to them yet. It could hinder your abilities, rather than help them. This training is at an off-campus facility so we'll be taking a bus to get there. That's all, start getting ready."
As soon as that was said, Yuki and the others began moving out of their seats, and towards the doors.
Upon arriving outside to see the bus pulled up there, Yuki was one of the first people to arrive. The one that had arrived before him was Shoto, who was still being rather quiet. She glanced at him, acknowledging his presence, but didn't say anything to him which Yuki wondered about.
"Say Todoroki-san, I hadn't had a chance to thank you for the vote yet."
"You don't have to, I thought you'd be the best for the President, that's all. Have I inconvenienced you by chance?"
Yuki waved both hands before him.
"Not at all! I'm grateful that you believed in me. I wasn't sure if you even liked me to be honest~"
Yuki said with a truthful voice, Shoto was someone that was difficult to work out what she was thinking. Over the years, he had become accustomed to making quick analysis over people, learning if they were good or bad.
But with Shoto, while he could tell that she was a good kind person, he also knew that there was something more to her than she was saying, and by the look in her eyes, he felt like it was a kindred feeling that she was feeling. That he could relate to it rather well.
"I don't hate you, or anything. I am just trying to work you out, that's all. I wager that you're my biggest competition within the class, the others have good Quirks, but you seem to be something else. Like when in battle, you didn't hesitate while the others all did. Even for a small moment, each and everyone of them had some unsure doubts. But you charged right ahead, and did what you had to do, as if you've done it before."
Yuki couldn't deny that she was saying the truth right there and then, but he couldn't reveal all.
"I've seen some battles in my life, so it is what it is. I'm sure you might have heard of the sludge Villain incident? Lots of people seem to recognize me from that."
"Yes, with Bakugo-san, I saw it on TV that day, and I saw how quickly you responded to saving her as well. No doubt, you've seen many battles before, I cannot say that I have seen battles like you, but I do know what it is like to look at a face that I really dislike."
Yuki raised a brow.
"A face you dislike?"
"I'd prefer not to talk about it."
As she said it, Yuki could tell from her monotone voice that there was something hard within her that she didn't want to face up to, and he didn't want to bring her down either, so he decided to steer the conversation away from that, though did wonder what it was that she was feeling, and hoped maybe in time, that she'd be able to come to him and speak about it in a quiet moment between them.
"Then lets not speak about it." Yuki replied, Shoto was surprised that he hadn't said anything at all. "By the way, I also managed to see your Battle Trial, All Might recorded them for me to watch, and I saw how quickly you froze the area, and took care of the competition. I was amazed to see how quick and strong your ice is."
"I froze the building, but I suspect that if I did that with you, it wouldn't have worked."
"We don't know, maybe one day we'll get the chance to face one another. Until then, lets be friends!"
Shoto wasn't sure of the idea of friends.
The concept itself seemed hard to define.
But she liked that despite how she had basically tried to make an enemy out of herself, he hadn't taken it to heart, and wished to get to know her on a more personal level, plus she also felt like there was something about him that she could identify, but she wasn't entirely sure what that feeling was as of this moment right now.
"...Perhaps, but I would still like to fight you."
"Friends can have healthy competitions."
"Is that what Bakugo-san has with you?"
Yuki gave a semi awkward laugh.
"Eeh, Kacchan is a unique girl." As he said it, Katsuki came running over. "Speaking of." Katsuki got to the side of Yuki, and placed her hand in his own. "Hello Kacchan, you're quite feisty all of a sudden, something going on?"
"I had to listen to that damn Himiko during all of my time changing. Next time, I'm changing somewhere else."
"Is that because you don't understand what friendship is?"
Yuki's jaw hit the floor as Shoto said it with an emotionless expression, Katsuki's eyes blazed.
"I have Yuki! We have a friendship, a relationship, everything!"
"Yes, I do as well."
Katsuki slammed her hand forward, a small explosion going off.
"You what?!"
"Yuki-san and I are also considered friends. Though also rivals at the same time."
"Heh, Yuki and I are considered loving rivals! That's better than what you are Icy Hot!"
"Icy...Hot?"
Shoto was momentarily confused, Katsuki showed a dark smirk on her lips.
"Yeah, don't think I heard about you and your damn power! I don't care if you can freeze a building, I'll explode your ice and melt it!"
Yuki looked between them, seeing Katsuki challenging smirk, and Shoto's stoic expression, so he got between them, and tried to calm the situation down.
While doing so, the other members of the class began coming over. Himiko hugged Ochaco from behind as they walked across the ground together.
However, Tenya, very robotic like, shot forward with his hands moving up and down, as if he was cutting through the air. He gave a semi serious look, and bowed in front of Yuki.
"Class President! For the seating arrangements and the orderly movements of our class, would you agree that going by seat number would be the best way?"
Yuki saw Momo, who moved closer. Having heard what he said, Yuki and Momo leaned back, and spoke quietly together.
"Is it really such a serious matter?"
Yuki's question was met with an awkward look from Momo.
"I don't think so, but he seems serious. Maybe it would be best to go along with it?"
Hearing the suggestion, Yuki didn't have any reason to go against it either, so he adopted a serious look, turning back to the boy that was before him.
"I...I think that it would be best that each person sat with who they wish to sit by, their friends or whoever, as long as the bus ride doesn't disrupt others. Since it is a short bus ride, I think that this method would be the best, what about you Iida-san?"
Tenya placed a finger to his chin and he thought about it deeply.
"Hmmmm...I can see what you're saying. In order to avoid chaos, allowing the students freedom to sit with their friends, would be the best way to go about it. Understood Class President! Allow me to issue the orders!"
Momo and Yuki shared another look, before shrugging.
"I know you've got this, I believe in you wholeheartedly."
"Thank you for the belief! I shall not let you down!"
Tenya seemed passionate so Yuki just went along with it, and even encouraged Tenya to speak up.
Tenya shot for the bus, placing one hand dramatically in the air, the other one pointing to the bus, then towards the class itself, while Momo observed Tenya's super serious expression, something that did surprise Yuki as well.
"Now, as spokesperson for our Class President! I have something to tell you, on his behalf!"
Ochaco blinked, and looked to Yuki who laughed awkwardly.
"I didn't know you had spokespeople?"
Yuki shrugged.
"I didn't have the heart to say that I didn't it, so I'll just go along with it. Doesn't he seem to be rather happy? Let him have his fun is what I say."
The young girl giggled, nodding a single time.
Katsuki snorted as Tenya continued on with the same seriousness that he had beforehand.
"Now, to allow the bus ride to remain as relaxed as possible, please sit down with your friends!"
The class didn't really get why Tenya seemed to state the obvious.
But they went along with it, and simply began getting on the bus.
Getting on said bus, it was an open area at the front, with seats pushed against the window, long seats at that.
Yuki casually sat down on one of the seats with Katsuki casually taking his right thigh for herself, and then Himiko casually sat on the left one, Katsuki's eyes blazed for Himiko.
"Vampire?"
"It looked super comfy, so I wanna do it too~"
"No Vampire, this is a seat reserved for people like me. You know, Yuki's actual partner."
"Well, partner right now yes, Yuki-kun can have many partners~ Ochaco-chan also wants to be Yuki-kun's partner." As Himiko said it, the blushing Ochaco sat down next to Yuki, her eyes hazily on the two girls on Yuki's thighs. "Isn't that right sweetie~?"
"Eh, well, that's..."
Katsuki huffs.
"Who the hell is Ochaco?"
Ochaco spluttered while Himiko points to Ochaco, Yuki raising an eyebrow.
"This girl here. You know, the gravity girl~"
Ochaco waved, showing a bright smile on her face.
Katsuki furrowed her brows, which caused Ochaco's face to fall slightly.
"Pink cheeks..."
Katsuki hummed as she thought about it.
But then Katsuki nods.
"Oh, her. Yeah, I remember."
Ochaco placed her hands to her mouth, while Yuki gave bemused eyes at the sight before him, seeing that Ochaco soon thought it was funny and gave off a small giggle.
Katsuki then notices that Shoto sits in the seats before them. Since they were facing inwards rather than forward, Shoto looked on from the side, as did Katsuki who furrowed her brows more and more by the second.
Then the bus began to move, once Aizawa did the checks to make sure all of the class was on the bus and ready.
As the ride went on, with many people speaking to one another, Yuki himself began pressing his face against the glass windows, so he could have a few moments to sleep.
However, that wasn't what some had planned for, as Tsuyu's eyes began to look over a few of the students, and she spoke her mind about what was going on.
"By the way, since the beginning of school, I've been wondering something." Her eyes went towards Yuki. "About you."
Yuki's half opened eyes fully opened, and tilted his neck.
"About me?"
"Yes, it seems that you're rather close to All Might?"
Yuki's face stayed the same, while Katsuki glanced towards Yuki, as did some others.
"Yes, All Might and I are rather close, he's someone that helped me out of a bad situation."
Remaining calm and collected at the same time, Yuki answered Tsuyu who tilted her head.
"Is that so? That's really good of him."
"It is yeah, he's helped me with many things~"
Kirishima nodded along, and drew the topic to a different way of thinking as he had something's to get off his chest.
"Still Yuki, I bet it would be awesome to have some kind of argumentation Quirk like yours. You could do a lot of flashy stuff with it." Kirishima held up his arm, and his skin became hard. "My hardening is super strong and can defeat bad guys in a fight, but it doesn't look all that impressive."
Yuki shook his head.
"That's not true, your Quirk might not be flashy, but it still is impressive. Thinking about it, you can do many things with your Quirk, which literally makes you the human shield, you could save many people by standing in front of them."
"You really think so?" Kirishima smiled as Yuki inclines his neck. "Being a shield against the dangerous opponents, yeah I could be like that. That would be very manly to shield everyone with my body!"
"Totally~"
Yuki sang out, as Jiro took note of his singsong voice, even for a moment, she did like the sound of his voice when doing that.
"My Navel Laser has the perfect combination of panache and strength~"
Aoyama praised himself, and held a hand to his belt. Mina on the other hand placed a hand on Aoyama's shoulder.
"But it's way lame if it gives you a stomach ache sweetie." Aoyama frowned, as Mina glanced towards Yuki. "Still, during that fight, you were so awesome! You kept Bakugo-chan second guessing throughout it all!"
Katsuki glanced at Mina who flinched.
"That's very kind, Kacchan is also very strong. I also managed to see your Quirk Ashido-san, the Acid really could be quite dangerous if used in the right way. Plus, I could totally see many applications of your acid, Ashido-san~"
Mina scratched the back of her head sheepishly.
"Ehehehe, that's very kind of you~ Ooh by the way, just call me Mina alright?"
"Sure!"
Kirishima, who sat nearby, watched on and then chuckled to himself.
"Either way, along with you Yuki, Todoroki and Bakugo have the top chances of being a Pro Hero with the kind of Quirks you all have."
"Sure." Tsuyu spoke up. "However, with how angry Bakugo-chan gets, she wont be able to become all that popular."
As she said it, Katsuki's eyes shot open, and went for the frog girl. Veins protruded from her eyes, and showed a dangerous expression.
"Frog Queen! You dare say that again! I'm going to become Number One!"
"You see, anger issues."
Tsuyu finished off, as Katsuki's eyes blazed with fury.
Himiko giggled.
"Tsu-chan is so totally right, you do have many anger issues Kacchan~"
"I don't need to hear that from some Vampire."
Himiko pulled out her tongue as Momo raised a brow.
"Why do you call her that?"
"Because she acts like one!"
Momo pursed her lips.
"But Vampire, would imply blood, and her...during the Battle Trial, I did see that it seemed you wanted the blood of Uraraka san."
"I did, I had to go super hard on Ochaco-chan, but she then trapped me in a room so we couldn't continue. She was so good at what she did, I couldn't have predicted that she'd do something like that, I was happy though I fought with Kacchan, as she is also super cute even if she has angry energy!"
Katsuki sighed, but accepted it as she was too tired to argue with Himiko anymore.
Mina then giggled, only fuelling the flames of destruction within Katsuki.
"You know, Bakugo-chan, if you keep being so angry, you might scare the children away."
"I don't scare children!"
Katsuki shot back, causing Mina to wince.
Then the others continued to speak. Yuki did quite like the fact that the class was so nice. He recalled how he wasn't sure how it was going to go when he first met his classmates, since he didn't have any prior experience to interacting with those in his age range, apart from a few.
But this was something he really enjoyed.
Just moments between them, where Yuki could speak and relax with those that he was growing to become even more fond of.
As they spoke however, Yuki's eyes became heavy, and saw that they still had a short time left, decided to rest his eyes...
When his eyes next opened, Yuki saw that he was back in the shadowy realm once more. His body couldn't move, but his eyes could shift side to side, he looked for the woman that he now suspected and believed was most likely his Grandmother.
Shifting side to side with his eyes, he tried to locate her.
But he couldn't.
He did his best to find her, he had so much he wished to speak about.
What it was that she wished to say.
However, in the middle of that, Yuki suddenly felt comforting arms wrap around his form.
So he looked down, seeing two feminine hands with fingers linked together.
A comforting hug, something that Yuki felt immense happiness from.
He tried to speak, but couldn't.
However, the woman came around to face him.
He saw her face, and could see the same face that was in the picture he had seen.
It was her, Nana Shimura.
"Yuki...my Grandson, look how you've grown. I was surprised...when Toshinori gave you the power, I felt it right away and knew I had to come. It took me sometime...but, I finally managed to speak to you like this."
Yuki felt emotions bubbling up inside.
He couldn't speak, but his eyes conveyed to Nana what Yuki felt inside.
"Yuki, I'm so sorry about my son, your Father..."
Yuki shook his head, his eyes turning slightly teary.
Nana in turn adopted teary eyes as well, her arms going around Yuki once more.
"I'm so sorry, but I can't stay here for long, you're progressing good with the power, but it still needs more time before we can communicate. Still, the fact that we have this short time, means the world to me."
Yuki also felt the same.
Even a short conversation was better than anything else.
Nana however then held a serious face.
"Yuki...I'm sorry, All For One...he is going to come back...you're gonna need to be ready. I'm so sorry I couldn't do anything more, but I can feel it inside of you. There is one thing that maybe I can do for you, maybe you can be the one that finally breaks the cycle of pain." Nana took his hand and he, along with her, began lifting up. "We're floating right now and I know in time...you're going to soar into the sky, I know that you will. My adorable Grandson, say hello to Toshinori for me, and to Gran Torino as well."
Yuki couldn't speak.
But he could nod, and he did that again and again.
Nana gave a thankful smile.
"Thank you. I am sorry, and I know...there's much that I have to speak to you about...but right now Yuki, you have to be able to fight...even if it seems hopeless, you can fight and do the thing that I wanted to do."
As she spoke, the world around them was falling apart.
She gave a disheartened look towards Yuki.
"Already, I didn't get nearly enough time. Yuki, remember that you are loved-"
"Yuki!"
Yuki jumped, his eyes shooting open.
He came face in close contact with Katsuki's own, so he moved forward, and kissed her cheek on reaction, something that caused her to blush, while others like Mina yelled "Yes! I knew the childhood romance was real baby!" only to get a glare from Katsuki, and Himiko for different reasons, but Mina knew it was enough for her to back down from the two dangerous looking girls in their own right.
Yuki however yawned, and looked around.
Seeing he was no longer in the dream world, his eyes cast to Katsuki who snapped her fingers in front of his face.
"Geez, you're not a light sleeper, are you?"
"Huh?"
"I've been trying to wake you up for the past minute or so."
Yuki rubbed his eyes, seeing the other students looking towards him.
Since he couldn't speak about the dream, he merely smiled.
"Sorry about that, didn't mean to make you all worry. I'm awake~"
Yuki smiled, and stood up.
Making his way out of the class, Yuki's eyes looked at the giant building before them.
He couldn't even see how far it went back from where he was, but he presumed because it was something to test Hero's in training like them, Yuki presumed that the interior was rather massive, which he was quite happy about.
Aizawa moved his way to the front of the class, his eyes went towards the right, as they heard footsteps approaching them.
Taking a look, Yuki could see that it was someone seemingly shorter than himself, and had a space suit on. He also saw that Ochaco looked giddy upon seeing the space suit, as did Himiko, though she was mostly giddy because Ochaco was giddy.
"Hello everyone!" The Hero announced, giving off a cheerful air which naturally drew others in with how relaxed the situation seemed. "I've been waiting for you all!"
"I-It's the Space Hero, Thirteen!" Ochaco yelled out, her excitement overflowing. "The Pro who's rescued a ton of people from disasters across the world! Woohoo! Thirteen is one of my favourites! I've always wanted to be like Thirteen!"
Ochaco yelled out as she shook side to side.
Yuki found her energy to be quite wonderful to see.
"I can't wait to show you inside!"
Thirteen announced, and the class spoke "This is going to be awesome!" at the same time, besides a certain few, Yuki being one of them since he kept his happiness internal. But he couldn't deny that he was going to have some kind of fun.
The class began moving forward together and listened to Thirteen as she spoke.
However, as they did, Yuki felt...uneasy.
A sinking feeling that something might not be entirely right.
He looked towards Aizawa, and saw that he was normal.
His eyes went left and right, and towards the various high places around, but couldn't see anything.
Nothing that would give away anyone watching him.
But still, it felt something wasn't right.
He hoped it was because it was simply a new place, and All Might wasn't around.
He convinced himself that's what it had to be.
Katsuki noticed the expression on Yuki's face, and pulled closer.
"Something going on?"
"Oh...no, new place, I'm just feeling a bit uneasy."
He expressed truthfully, at least what he hoped to be true.
He still wasn't entirely sure however.
Shaking his head, he moved back to the others.
Following them inside, Yuki and the others went towards the interior, and before them, was stairs. The stairs went down to a large open wasteland, and Raiki noticed that there were other places around the area, suited for combat. Fires, waters with ship wrecks, squall like areas, and other things were going on around the area.
"Wow, this is gonna be so exciting!"
Himiko yelled, Yuki nodded.
"I can't wait for it, it is going to be so amazing~"
Thirteen looked between all of them, then Thirteen began listing off a few things.
"A shipwreck zone! A landside zone! A fire zone! A wind storm, and others! I created this training facility to prepare you to deal with different types of disasters! I call it the 'Unforeseen Simulation Joint'! But, you can call it USJ!"
Most of the class thought "Just like Universal Studios Japan." while Yuki tilted his head, and glanced at the others.
"Well, I could see how my Quirk could interact with some of these, and the ones that aren't obvious to me, I am up for the challenge of being able to come up with ideas on how I could use my Quirk to do these different zones."
Katsuki gave Yuki a bemused look.
Aizawa looked towards Thirteen, and then sighed as he spoke quietly.
"All Might's not here huh? Let me guess, he's gone to do another interview?"
"Actually, it's something else. Apparently, he did too much Hero work on the way to the school, using all of his power, and is currently resting in the teachers lounge."
"That man is the height of irresponsibility." Aizawa was looking towards the class but kept his voice rather low. "Well, it should be okay with just the two of us." He thought to himself, and then looked at his wrist. "The clocks ticking, we should get started."
"Excellent." Thirteen agreed with a raised voice. "Before we begin, let me say one thing. Well, two things, three things...maybe four, or five..."
[We get it.]
The entire class spoke up, causing Thirteen to look on with a tilted head.
"Listen carefully. I'm sure that you're aware, but my Quirk is called Blackhole. I can suck up anything and turn it to dust."
"Yeah, you've used Blackhole to save people from all kinds of natural disasters, haven't you?"
Yuki spoke, having recalled what Ochaco had said to him about her beforehand.
Thirteen inclined her head, and continued on.
"That's true. But, my Quirk can be used to easily kill someone. Some of you also have a dangerous power that could kill people as well. In our superhuman society, all Quirk's are certified and stringently regulated. So we often overlook how safe we can actually be. Please don't forget that, if you lose focus, or make a wrong move. Your powers can be deadly. Even if you're trying to do something virtuous like rescuing people. Thanks to Aizawa's fitness test, you have a solid idea of your Quirk's potential. And because of All Might's combat training, you likely experienced how dangerous your powers can be when used on other people. Carry those lessons over to this class. Today, you're going to learn how to use your Quirk to save peoples lives. You wont be using your powers to attack enemies, or each other. Only to help. After all, that's what being a Hero is all about. The safety of others."
Yuki understood well. It was something he thought about when he was on the run, how he'd have to control his power to make sure that others didn't get caught up in the conflict when he was fighting for his life.
Ochaco looked upon Thirteen and smiled brightly.
"Thirteen is so cool..."
Himiko's amused eyes turned towards Ochaco, but she didn't say anything as Ochaco seemed really happy.
"That's all I have to say." Thirteen bowed. "Thank you for listening."
A lot of the students began to cheer, as Yuki looked around the area, assessing it, as it was something he always did, due to the life he had to lead for those years on the run from a madman like All For One.
So he'd do the same thing here and now.
He could see the bright lights from up above.
He could see the dusty rocky area before him.
He was ready to go and get into the rescue training.
Suddenly, as Aizawa was going to say something, the lights of the USJ began fizzling out, and blowing up as well. Because they were small, it didn't make much noise, but it was enough to alert the likes of Yuki who was sensitive to noticing things when they were amiss due to the life that he had lead before all of this.
His eyes darted up, peering at the different broken lights.
"Geez, what's happened with that?"
Himiko murmured, while Ochaco shuddered.
"I don't know, but something doesn't feel right does it?"
Yuki hoped that it wasn't anything bad.
He hoped that this was something that was just a malfunction.
But the feeling inside of him was telling Yuki that it wasn't a simple malfunction.
"What the hell is that fog?"
Katsuki spoke up, and looked towards the area she was looking in.
Yuki saw a fog spreading out, and formed what seemed to be a wall.
It seemed more than fog though, and he could see that slowly but surely, people were beginning to come out of it. All sorts of different people.
However, Yuki recognized the fog…
He remembered when he saw it, and the mysterious creatures emerged through them.
He wondered what was going to come out of it this time.
As he thought about it, Yuki observed that hands and feet were beginning to come out of the fog, Momo did as well.
"Some kind of teleportation Quirk maybe?"
Momo mused while Yuki felt his heart rate increase.
He took out his phone to ring All Might, he needed to know.
But when he did…
He couldn't get through.
Like it was jammed.
"Shit..."
Yuki murmured, looking back at the fog.
He looked at the others in the class, he didn't want them to get involved if this was an attack on him personally. Even if it was just a huge coincidence and the Villains chose to attack because of the Hero's in training being here, or they found out All Might was there, or had a grudge against Thirteen or Aizawa, however it was, Yuki knew that All For One was trouble, many people in the class weren't ready to deal with such a monster, and they shouldn't have to either.
"I hope this isn't going to get wild..."
Jiro murmured, looking worried by the moment.
Yuki took a glance at her, and could see not just her, but more and more did look unsure.
"W-We aren't prepared for this!"
Mineta cried out, Katsuki sighed.
"Seriously, have to question why he's here."
Yuki glanced at Katsuki, seeing that she was just staring at Mineta with disappointed eyes.
Yuki then turned towards Aizawa.
"It has to be...All For One's returned...that bastard..."
But before he could make a move, Yuki saw another young man come out.
With hands attached to his upper arms, his chest and his face, Yuki saw red peeking out from between the fingers, Yuki hoped they weren't real hands, and if they were…Yuki didn't even want to think about it.
Yuki thought about what was to come as the man took a few steps forward, scratching at his neck, something Yuki took note of.
The young man's eyes began to go over the students, but stopped when he looked at Yuki.
At the moment he saw Yuki, the older of the two felt something come through his head.
A small memory of a child he felt like he should recognize running towards him, a bright smile on his face, and once getting close enough, taking his hand gently.
But even then, the memory was being blocked out.
Yuki looked back at him with the same stare, as if they were trying to work the other out.
Neither fully realizing yet, but were soon going to realize that this meeting, was one that neither would ever forget.
End chapter!
So this chapter dealt with some stuff, with Yuki meeting Nana fully in a dream, and though unable to speak, listened to what she had to say. Yuki is also thinking about certain things with his Quirk along with Katsuki, and spoke to All Might about it. Yuki and Jiro also had a moment together, and are becoming closer.
Then at the end, the two brothers have finally met after all this time! We'll see what happens next between them!
Well, until next time, thanks for reading!
