"I am Mahito. And I hope we can become good friends."

He remains kneeling on the ground in a most respectful pose, smiling up at you. His eyes reflect two different colors in the streetlight.

You hesitate before replying. It's unsettling that this stranger knows so much about you and Ryomen. And apparently Jujutsu Tech too. That must mean that he's...

"The curse user," you think silently.

"Ryomen, I think this guy is the culprit we're after!"

"Oh, he's a bit more than that," he responds in a voice only you can hear. "His body has pure cursed energy coursing through it. He's not human at all. Still though, waste not want not." He reaches for the severed finger Mahito is presenting, accepting the gift and swallowing it in your hand immediately.

"So what's this offer you supposedly have for me then?" Ryomen inquires.

Mahito rises back to his feet, being sure to keep his head dipped lower than yours, despite being taller.

"My friends and I have been awaiting your return for so long, Lord Sukuna. We're eager to begin the Era of Curses promised by your mere presence in this world. All we need is for you to join us."

"Ryomen, I don't like this. He's freaking me out," you 'whisper.'

Then you remember Aikiko. She must've felt the same way when she encountered this fiend. You have to ask him about her.

"You took someone, didn't you?" You accuse without wasting any time.

"Someone you met here."

"My, your detective skills are quite good. But, I do have to confess, I left a very blatant trail for you to follow." He rises up now, rocking back on his heels.

Your stomach drops as the meaning of his words begins to sink in.

"What...?"

He giggles again, his eyes crinkling with mirth, like a child sharing a secret.

"It took you long enough. Those Jujutsu sorcerers are awfully slow, but I knew you'd be the one to find me first. You're so clever!"

"Where...where is Aikiko?" You manage to ask at last.

"Hmm? Who's that?" He scratches his head with puzzlement. Then, with an inspired look, he reaches into the single long sleeve of his asymmetrical shirt.

"Do you mean this?"

He holds up what looks like a small lump of dried clay, impressioned with the scarcest resemblance of what you might call a face. You're not sure what to make of it. This guy seems legitimately unbalanced.

"I mean the missing girl you abducted! Don't play coy," you threaten.

"There were witnesses when you harassed her at the expo, so don't try to lie about it."

"Harassed? Haha! No, you've got it all wrong. I simply offered her a chance to be remembered forever. The human sex industry is such a cruel machine. She didn't have much time left at her peak, and she knew it. Vanity, ego, it was her own destruction ticking the time down until she would have been forgotten. I did her a favor. You see this way, she'll never have to grow old and ugly. She can be the missing beauty who lives forever in her fan's hearts. Ageless."

"That's disgusting!" You fight the urge to run up and punch his smug face on the spot. You're still not 100% sure what his abilities are.

He tosses the tiny figure in the air, catching it when it falls.

"Tell me something? Why do you care so much about a human you don't even know?"

"Because I met someone who DOES know her, and wants her back!" You grit your teeth. Where are the guys? They should be here by now. Were they still looking for sensei? You're unsure if you can handle this opponent alone, he's clearly different from any past ones you've had.

"So? What if you didn't meet that person? Would you still care? Would it make a difference to you in the slightest if they went missing? Or...What if it was someone you did know very well?" He's toying with you, not caring about how uncomfortable he's making you.

"What kind of question is that? Of course I'd care even more if I knew them."

"You must trust the Jujutsu sorcerers alot then. Putting all your faith in them when the two of you have very different goals."

He hasn't looked nervous once. For some reason, this pisses you off. Why is he so smug if he knows who you are? Surely everyone must fear Sukuna.

"You don't know my goals," you challenge him.

"But I do know the Jujutsu sorcerers' goal..."

"You should really make your point while you still can. I'm getting bored with you." Ryomen is running out of patience, and speaks from your cheek.

"I've been wondering about your union with this vessel," he addresses your curse as if you weren't there.

"It's almost as if you're working together, is that correct? You coexist."

"You already know plenty about me. So I don't think I need to answer that. What exactly is being said about my union? Presumably by these miserable so-called friends of yours."

"Oh, they say that you've become distracted by your plaything. 'Loathsomly enamored' is more how they put it. A little harsh, I'd say. I'm not the type to cut anyone's playtime short," Mahito smiles broadly.

"On the contrary, I'd love to watch... with your consent, of course."

"Now you're growing too bold for my taste, little fool. You should choose your next words more carefully..." Ryomen growls.

"Oh, I nearly forgot! Vessel? Sorry, I forgot the name they tell me you go by. You're friends with Itadori Yuji, right? Close friends?" Mahito twists two of his fingers together, you watch the space between them disappear entirely and they fuse into a solid mass. The resulting shape is undeniably phallic. What the fuck? He can change his body?

"You should really ask more questions to your superiors. Afterall, they're planning on executing your beloved friend." He concludes, changing the shape of his hand into a puppet shape of Yuji, with comic x's for eyes.

The air slams out of your lungs as the gravitas of his message hits you. Yuji? Sweetheart Yuji? The first friend you made after your life had become this free fall of unexpected events...and he's going to-

There's a shout behind you and you hear your name being called frantically,

"GET AWAY FROM HIM! RUN AWAY!"

"Yuji!" You spin around, tears stinging your eyes. You didn't even realize you had started crying.

He flies past you with a jump kick that hits Mahito square in the chest. The blow sends the villain flying back further into the alley, but the peels of laughter echoing back alert you that he is unfortunately unharmed.

"Are you okay? Did he touch you?!" Yuji grabs your hands, inspecting you closely, making sure you're whole.

"I didn't-I mean, he didn't..." you sputter, trying to collect yourself, but the sight of him is overwhelming you after what Mahito has just said. Was he telling the truth?

"Yuji," you weakly attempt, tears betraying you.

From the alley, Mahito's voice taunts both of you.

"So virtuous! You sorcerers honestly put your yourselves in danger for anyone, don't you? It gets rather old."

He remains seated where he landed, amidst the rubbish and empty crushed cardboard boxes of the neighboring businesses.

"But it appears that my job here is done. I think I'll let my new creation play with you while I make my getaway. You've worked hard to find her, so I hope you all have fun." Again he produces the strange little object from his sleeve.

"Idle Transfiguration."

With horror, you watch as the figure grows exponentially, taking a deformed yet still vaguely humanoid shape. Leathery gray skin pulls taught over its looming height, straining to contain itself. Bones jutting grotesquely from joints that had been snapped in the wrong direction now protrude with sickening sharpness. There is no blood from the wounds, but it wails pitifully. It must be in agony. How could it not be?

"It was a pleasure to meet you! Until next time," Mahito sings out as his body slurps down the drain of a sewer well in the concrete. He vanishes entirely.

You berate yourself for not realizing it sooner. He had purposefully trapped you with his escape route already in mind the entire time. He knew you would be the one to find him, too. Meaning he planned all of this. He murdered Aikiko just to meet you.

Yuji scoops your stunned body out of the way just as the creature hurtles a dumpster through the air in your direction. It flies effortlessly like a soda can, then smashes with an earsplitting WHAM into the back wall.

"What did Mahito do to you?" He demands.

"Can you move? Are you okay?" He isn't upset, but his fear is showing. He's not used to seeing you too shocked to react.

"I'm sorry...I..." a warmth fills your body, stopping you short.

"Oh, we simply do not have time for this," Ryomen cuts in.

"Get over this pitiful display. Now!" He hauls your body up, just in time to see the creature charging directly at you. Despite its malformations, it was left with a very normal looking human mouth, now agape and screaming again.

Yuji places himself into harm's path to protect you, throwing a right hook that could have split a brick wall with his cursed energy. The monster is knocked windless, stunned, but it isn't backing away.

"Listen to me! That guy you saw has some messed up cursed technique. He turns people into monsters, and messes with their brain or something to make them violent. That monster...that's probably our missing girl."

"No...That can't be," you look again, and are nauseated when you recognize the scraggly tufts of bleached blonde hair. The same color that Aikiko had.

"So is she..." you start to ask, but the pained expression on Yuji's face already confirms your fear.

"Yeah...She's gone. I'm sorry. The kindest thing we can do is to give her an end to her suffering." He gives you a trembling but still somehow brave smile.

"Don't worry. I'll do it so you don't have t-"

Aikiko's deformed corpse swings a massively overstretched arm, catching the side of Yuji's skull and slams him roughly to the ground. He groans once, but doesn't move.

"Itadori!"

His body jerks and two black bands materialize around his wrists as he pushes himself up. Staggering upright, he chuckles menacingly.

"Oh, what a rare treat this is! I only have until the brat wakes up to see this, but we'll see how interesting things will get."

Sukuna! He must've been awakened by his vessel's temporary unconsciousness. Itadori always fought to maintain his curse constantly, but that wasn't possible for him now.

"Well? Are we really going to let this disgusting homunculus make a fool out of us?" Sukuna asks, his markings spreading wickedly along Itadori's face.

"It would be a tad embarassing, to say the least."

"Who said I was going to let that happen?" Ryomen protests, speaking from your mouth.

"This body is just a little shell shocked," he stretches your arms up, cracking your joints loudly.

"Humans and their emotions, right? Dealing with their weaknesses is such a burden," Sukuna twists Yuji's face into a sneer.

"Indeed," Ryomen responds evenly, easily catching the foul arm of the beast's corpse as it wildly swings again. Your fingers sink into its soft flesh like an over-ripened fruit, it feels and smells rotten. Pivoting on your heel, Ryomen slings the creature face first into the asphalt.

Yuji's Sukuna leaps in closer without warning, leaning centimeters from your face.
"Now, that was a test you just failed. Would you care to guess why?" His teeth flash in a deadly grin.

"I hardly think this is the time or place," Ryomen keeps your gaze straight ahead, refusing to acknowledge his alternate facet.

"The mere fact that you would acknowledge your host's emotions shows you're paying too much attention to them. Why indulge them at all?" Sukuna's eyes glow dangerously through the darkness, leering at you expectantly.

The beast rumbles beneath you, its head twisting around completely backwards to view you. Pinpointing the broken bone spears protruding from the elbow its free arm, it lunges at you, missing your side by a hair as you dodge. With an irritated grunt, Ryomen snatches the gruesome weapon, immobilizing it again with only his inhuman strength.

He gripes with growing annoyance,
"Is this is a conversation that must happen now?"

"Oh, it can wait if you need time to come up with an excuse but I doubt it'll change what I think." He leans against a rusted ladder of a fire escape. It's apparent that he has no intention of helping you.

With another thrash, your grip is nearly dislodged. This time, its reversed knees lash back at you, narrowly slicing into your uniform and leaving a thin line of blood.

This is ridiculous! You can't keep this thing subdued for much longer. Your grip is slipping with each thrash. Itadori had said that you needed to kill it, but this thing was a person! You know Ryomen could easily rip it apart or incinerate it, but he is holding back. It wouldnt even breach your contract because she was already dead...

Which means the only reason he is holding back is because of you. He knows you don't want to hurt her.

"Fascinating technique," Sukuna calls sarcastically.
"I wonder if your blood will give it a tummy ache when it eats you. That'll teach it a lesson. Hahaha!"

"Dammit! Shut the fuck up!" Ryomen screams with pure frustration. That diatraction was enough, you were being thrown lose now. You tense and prepare for a horrible goring.

RRRRAWFF!

There's a flash of white at the corner of your eye and a set of jaws clamps down where your hand had just lost its grip.

Fushiguro's demon dog! Alerted by your voice, he had sprung into action. With the ferocity of it's new opponent to distract, the creature turns its focus away from you. You take the moment to leap back to a safer distance.
Demon dog's presence means that Fushiguro is close, so you inhale and scream with all of your might,

"MEGUMII! WE'RE HERE!"

Sukuna holds his ears and scowls, "Unnecessary. Entirely unnecessary."

"I don't want to hear it from you! You were waiting for this thing to kill me!"

He blinks and holds his palms facing up,
"Yeah. That's kind of who we are. Well, it's who I am anyway,"
He squints all four of his eyes in your direction.
"Who the hell are you?"

A call from above directs your attention to the roof. A figure in black leaps from the edge.
Free falling with his bird shikigami giving him wings to glide down, Megumi lands easily between you and Sukuna. Or rather, from his point of view, between two Sukunas.

"What's going on here?!" He demands.

"Yuji took a hit to the head and Sukuna woke up!" You explain.

With a fluid motion, he flings something small and white toward his possessed friend. It sticks with incredible accuracy and immediately begins to spark. Was that a sutra?

"FUCKING HELL!" Sukuna exclaims, rocking back with a spasm as his entire body is wracked with arcs of blue electricity. He slumps to the pavement with a groan.

"Is he-?!"

"He's fine. Itadori will wake up in a minute, he'll be alright...Is that Aikiko?" He looks behind you with a grim expression.

"It is," you nod.

There's a crash as the mutated corpse stumbles deeper into the narrow alley, unable to maneuver as well with its new assailant Yue attacking from the sky. Demon dog is in close range, herding the beast and forcing it further away from everyone.

"We...need to finish it, Fushiguro reminds you.

"I know. I think I can do it now," you reassure him, balling your fists up tightly.

"Let's do it," Megumi takes off in a sprint, and you follow him. He calls ahead to his shikigami,

"Corner it! Get it in the dead end!"

Obediently, Yue and Demon Dog force their target to the designated area, cutting off its escape route entirely.

"You got this?" Megumi asks again.

"Yeah!" You nod with tears still stinging your eyes.
"I've got it."

You jump onto a dumpster lid, leaping high and pivoting your foot off the brick of the wall closest to the curse.
"You're no longer living," you say outloud, though it's mostly for yourself to hear. You pull back your fist and feel the heat of Ryomen's energy charging within you.
"So rest in peace."

You throw your punch and release the energy. A flash of red follows the blow and you watch your target crumble.

A tentative silence settles in, punctuated by your panting breaths. Then you hear the faint groans of Itadori and the crunch of footsteps. Satoru Gojo, finally back from his tour of the expo, holds up a very shakey Yuji.

"Hey everyone, look who I found! You really shouldn't leave your teammates behind, you know that."

"What happened? Did I beat the monster?" Yuji asks groggily

"Pft. Yeah, you sure did. We won thanks to you," Fushiguro snorts sarcastically.

"Wow...neat."

"Itadori!" You call to him, running to check on him. He had taken a bad knock earlier before blacking out, but the swelling didn't look serious.

"Where's Aikiko?" He asks, wincing when you touch his face gingerly.

You turn wordlessly and allow him to see the wreckage of the fight behind you.

"Oh..."

He puts a hand on your shoulder,
"I'm so sorry you had to do it. I should've been paying more attention. I let my guard down and got knocked out. I was so useless!"

"Mahito probably killed her right away then swallowed her corpse after shrinking it. We've seen him do it before," Fushiguro is still assessing the body.
"You did good. It's okay," he offers.

Wordlessly you join him. You needed to face the scene again, even if it was awful. You refuse to take any comfort from his words however. This all happened because of you. Mahito was only interested in you. He killed Aikiko and made you follow the blood trail right to him. He could do this again too, and probably would. How can anything be okay ever again?

Fushiguro puts a hand on your shoulder, and your tears fall.

"I wanted to save her...I wanted to save her so badly," you choke pathetically, not bothering to hide or wipe your face.

"I know," he replies.

The body was twisted and broken, disfigured beyond recognition. How could poor Ayako ever possibly have closure with her dear friend looking like this? You absently reach to touch the ragged blonde hair of the corpse, she had such pretty hair in her photo. Pretty like a doll.

Pain seizes your chest and you grit your teeth so suddenly, your mouth fills with blood from your tongue being bitten. A white hot burning in your fingertips begins to spread to your palms.

"Touch her," Ryomen directs you. You obey, your palms holding her face lovingly. The light from your hands slowly consumes her body, and it begins to shrink, reshaping itself.

"What...what are you doing?" Fushiguro's voice is filled with awe.

A final sob escapes you and the light fades. You're trembling and overheating. Rolling to your side, you immediately vomit, a black substance strings from your mouth and you gag loudly. Itadori sits beside you and pats your back, brushing your hair out of the way and offering his jacket to clean yourself up.

Yuji whispers your name, locking eyes with you, his are wet with tears as well.
"How did you do that?"

"Do what?"

When you turn back around, you find Aikiko lying placidly on the ground, beautiful, whole and human.

"And so it is the student has surpassed the teacher," Gojo marvels outloud.

.

Authorities arrived shortly after the fight had ended. The body was surrendered to the coroner so police would contact her family to make funeral arrangements.

Gojo sensei is talking to the police, finalizing the incident report as needed. Fushiguro and Itadori are still with the body, answering questions for the investigators. Both had surrendered their uniform jackets to cover her up while waiting for first responders. You are sitting on the nearest curb, staring at a patch of weeds growing resiliently through cracks in the cement.

A pair of black shoes step into view.
"Those fellows over there told me you're the one who recovered the body."

Glancing up, you recognize the officer who had been at Ayako's apartment earlier that day. You've forgotten his name though.

"Yeah..."

"I wanted to thank you. I...I know that with these special cases," he pauses again, clearing his throat, letting the meaning of the words he is choosing set in,
"We usually do not anticipate a body to return. I know the family will be grateful to bury her properly."

"Yeah...okay," you don't know what he's expecting you to say to that.

Her family would have been happier if she returned to them alive instead. This wasn't much of a comfort to anyone. The officer thanks you again, then excuses himself. As he walks away, you catch Yuji looking at you again. He had been staring at you at every free opportunity from across the lot, his expression impossible to read. It was clear he was desperate for a chance to talk to you. After the body has been successfully loaded, and the last officers leave the scene, your sensei speaks to you directly.

"What you did tonight was pretty spectacular. I'm glad I got to witness it."

"I'm not even sure what I did," you confess. You had assumed that was Ryomen's doing.

"You reversed a transfigured soul. It's not something that's ever been done successfully. Usually by the time something like this happens...the best we can hope for is a cremation to send presentable remains to any next of kin."

"I guess I don't see this as being any different. She's still dead. So we still failed."

"Closure is an important part of death. Souls who aren't given a proper burial or resting place are doomed to wander the earth eternally. You'll be able to give alot of people that closure and help those souls move on too. Headmaster Masamichi is going to be overjoyed!"

He keeps chattering on for several minutes but you don't register what he's saying. Your eyes drift over to Fushiguro who is studying you carefully.
"What do you remember before getting sick?"

You shrug and shake your head.
"I...I was disappointed. No, that's not right. I was angry. Angry that I had failed. And that all of this happened because of me. He told me himself that he only wanted to talk to me, so he did all this."

Yuji touches your elbow gently,
"Hey, please don't say that. Mahito doesn't need a reason to kill anyone. He likes hurting people, and he won't stop until we stop him. So we can't give up, right?"

You meet his gaze, his smile is so warm and encouraging, but you just can't bring yourself to return it yet.

"Am I the only one who's hungry?" Gojo asks.

"You're the only one who didn't contribute today," Fushiguro reminds him.

"I could eat," Yuji sniffs, putting his jacket back on.

"Fantastic! I have the perfect place in mind! I'll call Ijichi to pull the car around and we'll get dinner before we go home."

Bonus! JUJU STROLL FIC

.

Oma's Hot-Pot Hot Spot!
"For big shots who love it hot!"

An obnoxiously lit neon sign flashes to advertise a very odd looking restaurant. With the bright colors and covered windows, it looked more like a seedy motel than a diner. The name wasn't helping.

"This place?" You ask incredulously.

Gojo is already holding the door open for you,
"A hidden gem I discovered through a friend! Oh, we are going to have so much fun tonight!"

Fun? Is he out of his fucking mind? Why would he be thinking of fun after a mission?

Oh, right. Because he ditched the mission to meet porn stars all day. Why was he in charge again? It had to be something to do with his tenure.

Begrudgingly you enter last through the door he's still holding. You had no energy to argue.

Right away your ears are assaulted by the bellows of an energetic man on a stage, singing his heart out horribly. Oh no. Oh no. Oh fuck this shit.

It's a karaoke restaurant.

"Surpriiiiiise!" Gojo cries with glee shooing the three of you into a booth that was marked with a reservation card. Did he really call ahead for this? Fucking hell. You're in hell.

"Is that human dying?" Ruomen asks you privately. He still only directs his thoughts to you when the others are around. You sink into the booth, taking the seat beside Itadori, trying your hardest to disappear.

"No, it's karaoke...Singing in front of strangers," you explain.

"Singing..." he repeats. You feel the sensation of memories being flicked through, tiny snippets of sound and melodies trickling over one another.
"You like to sing," he says, but sounds puzzled,
"Why are you dreading it?"

"It's...nothing. Just drop it please?"

Yuji is the last to put the pieces together.
"So...you're gonna make us sing, aren't you, sensei?"

"You guessed it! Tonight is about relaxing and having a good time, alright? All the training and missions can really add up and bring our spirits down. Being able to smile about something afterwards is self care."

He passes you a thick binder marked MASTER SONG LIST stuffed with laminated pages. The edges are well worn, its definitely been around for a while.
"Flip through this while we're waiting for our food. Oh, and you also don't get to eat until you sing."

"What?! Come on sensei! We were running around all day...Alot of that was looking for you!" Yuji protests, pointing an accusatory finger across the table.

"Sorry, I'm paying so I'm making the rules. You'd better pick a song quickly." Gojo smirks and props his chin on his fist.

You sink impossibly deeper into the booth. You didn't feel like singing at all. You weren't even sure you could remember all the words to something right now anyways.

"I'm not singing," Fushiguro announces, probably feeling the same as you are about all this nonsense.
"I can wait until I get back to campus to eat too."

"Fushiguro-ooo," his friend draws his name out then gives a quick glance in your direction. He leans across the table, propping up a menu to give them privacy to whisper loudly. A minute later, they both reappear. Megumi looks defeated.

"...I'll sing a song."

"Wonderful! I knew you'd come around!" Gojo cheers, passing him a sign up sheet.
"What song are you going to do?"

He fills out the paper wordlessly with a scowl on his face.

Your curiousity was piqued, you had to admit. You should probably pick something too.

The song being butchered finally ends, and the man's friends raucously applaud their pal.
"THAT'S OUR BOY! THAT'S OUR BOY!"

The MC takes the mic from him to announce the next singer to the stage.

"ALRIGHT EVERYBODY LET'S KEEP THAT ENERGY GOING FOR FUSHIGURO TO THE STAAAAGE"

Megumi's face loses all color.
"I'm...next?"

Gojo chuckles, already helping him out of the booth. "Ooh, tough break. Good luck though!"

Megumi's hand is trembling as he accepts the microphone. His music begins.

When you're on a holiday
You can't find the words to say
All the things that come to you
And I wanna feel it too

On an island in the sun
We'll be playin' and havin' fun
And it makes me feel so fine
I can't control my brain

His voice is rich and sweet, as the song continues on he grows more confident, especially when he sees a smile on your face. You see a tug at the corners of his mouth as well. When the next verse begins, he doesn't look away from you.

When you're on a golden sea
You don't need no memory
Just a place to call your own
As we drift into the zone

On an island in the sun
We'll be playin' and havin' fun
And it makes me feel so fine
I can't control my brain

We'll run away together
We'll spend some time forever
We'll never feel bad anymore

He returns to the table, blushing crimson and hiding his eyes from everyone, despite the cheers from strangers and his teammates.

"I think I'm ready to go now, sensei!" Itadori volunteers.

He energetically runs onto the stage.
"What's up everyone?! I'm gonna sing a song that I really love. So I hope you like it too!"

Running in a crowd

In a faceless town
I need to feel the touch of a friend
In the countryside
I wander far and wide
The isolation gets me again

I don't know where to go
When I feel like crying
Oh my!
It's time to open myself
Do something new
I want to stop, and grow up a bit

This stirs the audience into a frenzy.
"I LOVE THIS SONG!" someone shouts. "ME TOO, AND I LOVE THE SHOW ITS FROM!"
Yuji's smile lights up the entire room as he finishes the final verse.

Then suddenly, my intuition

and my wisdom grow
And then I know
That most of all I
sense compassion's real
Thanks to strangers where ever I go

Thank you for waking me up!

"YEAH! THAT WAS AWESOME!" There is thunderous applause as he leaves the stage, rejoining you at your table.

"How was that?" He laughs.

"Really amazing!" You return his smile.

All eyes are on you now... Crap in a bucket. You still hadn't picked out a song. Then you hear the MC call your name to the stage.

"No, wait! I didn't select anything yet!" you protest. Your heart is beating like a drum and your vision is swimming.

"Hey..." Ryomen's voice calmly cuts through your panic.
"You sing beautifully. Don't be afraid."

As if on autopilot, he takes you to the front, pausing at the DJ table. Ryomen makes your voice tell him the name of a song. You haven't sung it in years.

"I...I can't sing that! Not here especially. I think this crowd is full of drunks, they dont want to hear-"

"You'll be magnificent," he interrupts, stepping you onto the stage.

The DJ gives you a cue, and you begin.

Os iusti meditabitur sapientiam,
Et lingua eius loquetur iudicium.

Your voice is hauntingly pure, embodying the reverence of the kyrie. Ryomen...he's singing with your voice. But it sounds so much more refined, free of fear of judgement. He isn't concerned with what humans think. The faces of the audience however are hypnotized. There isnt a word being said in the room, they are unable to make a sound.

amoena esse Virgo creditur
O quam sancta, quam serena, quam benigna, quam amoena
O castitatis lilium.

The song ends, and the room clamors with applause. Several patrons slap you on the back as you pass by, offering their praise. When you take your seat, Yuji throws his arms around you.

"You're so goddamn amazing, you know that?" He says against your shoulder, squeezing you tightly.

You blush, looking up and seeing Megumi with the biggest smile you've ever seen.

"Thank you...It was fun."

Thank you all for reading, just in case anyone was wondering about the music used for the bonus mini fic...

Megumi's song is Island in the Sun by Weezer, his official character theme as assigned by the JJK creator Gege Akutami.

Yuji sings the Yu Yu Hakusho theme song Hohoemi no Bakudan "Smile Bomb" by Matsuko Mawatari.

And your song is the opening theme for Elfin Lied, entitled Lilium.

All of these are great so give them a listen!

Again, thank you for reading 3
