A story about a little less "noble and selfless" Subaru. The story starts in arc 6 (so minor spoilers) but will have Subaru sent back in time after receiving many buffs and If memories through contracts with Satella and Volcanica. This is no crackfic even if it sounds like one and I try my best to stay lore-friendly.

2. Chapter 2

Authors notes : because there no information in regards to Subarus authority of gluttony as off yet so i am forced to make up my own one and i am making it based on my understanding of "gluttony" as a concept as well as Subaru's personality traits and this is what i end up with

Authority of gluttony : active

"indulgence of the love song"

Any time Subaru sings his voice will carry authority making people to be enchanted by the song it can even heal or damage as well as make people more energetic or drain energy out off them depending on users intention ( you can think D&D bard class that's basically it )

Authority of gluttony : passive

"Storage of energy and resource's"

Now gluttony itself is based around concept of eating food at massive amounts and why do people eat food in first place ? Because they need energy to live and do things

As result you can think Subaru have ability to store his own stamina for later use or others stamina as for resources Subaru can store "health" or part off individuals od within him self and use it later.

It's important to note that Subaru cannot store mana using this authority as mana in Subaru's mind is not food and Subaru authority of Greed works hand in hand with authority of gluttony as for me greed and gluttony are always together or working together (same way as sin archbishops or witches as well as sins them self in there's base nature itself normally work together )

Now without further ado let's get into it

Re:Human character 2. Human and the spirit.

As Subaru collapse inside loot house he find himself inside a familiar building laying on bead the perfect replication of his childhood "Room" as Subaru laying there he was having a whirlpool of emotions inside his hart because on one hand he was happy to finally meet his old friends he was sad he was forced to lie to them pretending he meet them for first time he was overwhelmed by joy to see emilia smile once more and he was overwhelmed by anger for meeting puck

"That excuse of a father figure spirit have some explaining to do how he could leave his precious child when she needed him most" says Subaru venting his frustrations

"Not everyone are as wise and caring for wellbeing of theirs children as you my beloved it makes me want to fall in love with you all over again" says a beautiful voice next to Subaru's ear

As Subaru turns to direction of this beautiful voice he sees a beautiful silver haired half-elf laying in bed next to him wearing her almost transparent nightgown that perfectly enhances her already beautiful features.

"I see you are enjoying yourself tella" says Subaru looking at the woman with deadpan expression on his face.

(Authors notes: Subaru refers to sattela as tella and envy as eva because he felt envy needed to be referred in different way as sattela and no way in hell envy will allow Subaru call her by envy so compromise was reached)

"Hmm... i wanted to make sure my beloved is always taken care off" says Sattela as she slowly creeping closer to Subaru and wrapping her arms around him

"Now in what way do you mean taken care off" says Subaru as he slides his own arms around her holding her fit frame

"Hmm... i don't know perhaps meaning with some people you call ""friends"" brought out some unpleasant memories for you and i want to make sure your ok" says sattela as she looks to the side with a smile on her face.

"Say tella is it still you in there or is it eva slowly taking over" as Subaru says so there's a visible twitch passing through the woman.

"How are you able to tell difference between me and her?" says eva with small pout and slightly annoyed expression

"You can't replace or imitate nature of a person you can only be yourself even if you imitate them perfectly" says Subaru as her slowly moved his hand from woman's back to her head and began to slowly pet her to mild satisfaction of eva.

"I know you told me that like 1000 times by now that i can only be my self but what is myself? I am born from witch factor" says eva with frustration in her voice

"You are what you make yourself to be and how you define yourself as for that is what you are" says Subaru with warm expression

"This is answer i reached after all of my potential presents merged together do you honestly think it was easy for me to realise how much off a monster i can be" says Subaru with understanding and sad expression

"If i managed to get past on my flawed way of thinking and endless self loathing why can't you then?" says Subaru as if teaching a child and with that eva retreat back to sattelas mind letting sattela to come out

"Oh looks like eva run off again hey there tella" says Subaru as he moves his hands back to grab sattelas behind

"I still to this day can not believe you managed to talk some sense to my other counterpart something i failed to do for last 400 years" says sattela as she move to lay on top off Subaru and resting her head on his chest

"well after i realized that she can't control her own emotions and after that fight i learned a way to get through to her after all if you and i are now permanently stuck together as we are now the least i can do if learn a way to live with it" says Subaru as he slowly covers sattelas body with blanket

Sattela simply responds with "hmm..." as she wraps her legs around Subaru's and says "or she is simply happy about situation regarding your potential future relationships with other women" says sattela with bitterness on her face

"I still cannot believe how did i end up agreeing to that" says Subaru with disappointed voice directed at his self

"Am i really that weak to agree to something like that it essentially makes me incapable of having normal relationships without cheating on a woman i end up with" says Subaru with dumbfounded expression and disbelief in his own choices

"Don't feel bad it's fine no one will ever realise that i partially possess them during the activities" says sattela with mischief expression

"After all only i will ever be able to experience Subaru's love from inside and outside at same time as for a woman in question she will find it more intense so it all good" as sattela says this her face begins to blush blood red and she hides her face inside Subaru's chest

"You naughty girl you know that" says Subaru as he starts playing with her ears earning giggling sounds from her

But then suddenly sattela shoot her head up from his chest and says "Subaru something had triggered your hats defence mechanism" at this Subaru looks to sattela with serious expression

"Care to explain what trigger it and how bad is it?" says Subaru "someone tried to forcefully remove your hat few times but hat remained as they cannot touch it at first they seem to give up but then clown dressed man attempted to mess with it and it triggered defence response" says sattela with serious expression

"that's probably Roswell is he alive and did he suffer any permanent damage?" ask Subaru with joyful expression on his face

"Yes he is alive and no permanent damage was done to him remember you were the one to make sure it don't do any irreversible damage without permission" says sattela as she looks up to Subaru with a caring smile on her face

"But he did suffer a lot as the hat latch it self onto him and then trapped him in ul class shamack afterwards it wrapped it self around him and drained his mana to almost nothing after it was done he got spited out like drained orange and hat returned back to its place " as sattela was saying this and describing how the clown got spit out she could not help herself but to start to giggle

"I know you said all items made by your hands inherited some off your personality but this is something" says Subaru as he carefully and with utmost care begins to caress sattelas hair

" But then again if its only Roswell that got hurt its fine fuck that clown for all i care but i can't have him dead so a small little ass whopping it's perfectly O.K" as Subaru says so he burying his head in between sattelas bosom

"But using that hat trick sure does take some energy out off me so i need to rest now wake me up if something major happens ok?" as Subaru says so he closes his eyes and go back to sleep only faintly hearing sattelas response of "ok my beloved" and with that sattela keeps laying in bed playing with Subaru hair and sneaking few small kisses from him from time to time with content written all over her face.

Roswell manor was in absolute chaos moment emilia returned from capital with her guest as emilia herself was way to tired to do anything at this point she simply ordered maids to look after Subaru and went to sleep.

As maids carried guests lifeless body to the bed they proceeded to change his clothes but moment there's hands touched Subaru body the hat sprung into action launching black tendrils towards maids in response maids jumped back and was about to go into fighting mode but hat simply returned to its previous position as if saying "Don't you even think to touch my beloved"

After few moments to process what happened red haired maid tried to pick up the hat but her hands simply passed through it as if touching black massless void as result maids decided to call in Roswell and Beatrice to help with the hat

Roswell was close by and had Beatrice by his side expecting to treat injured guests as his book foretold him but to his surprise he was met with sleeping uninjured boy and a hat on his belly raising his eyebrows he asked maids

"Ram what is the meaning of this ?" as he asked pointing towards the boy or more specifically The hat maid responded in professional manner

"Lord Roswell lady Emilia picked up this stray and asked to look after him with great care i might add" she was pointing toward Subaru as she responded

"But as me and my sister tried to change that disgusting excuse of clothes he wears the hat attacked moment we tried to undress him" responded ram with expression of absolute disgust written all over her face

"The hat attacked you ? " asked Roswell

"Not sure the hat acted only wen we tried to undress him as if saying not to touch him" rem responded with somewhat confusion on her face

"Did you tried to remove hat ? " Roswell asked

"Yes we did but it refused to move or be separated from hi" resounded rem and ram in unison

As Roswell tried to touch the hat his hand simply touched black void of a cloud where there was once a hat moment he moved his hands away black cloud returned back to a form of a hat earning response from Roswell

"What a facing enchantment never did i seen anything like this Beatrice what do you make of this?" asked Roswell as he turns to look at Beatrice only to be met with bewildered looking loli

" i can say is that hat is like shamak with a will of its own and refuses to be touched by anyone that is not the owner on top of that i sense it will be dangerous if you tried to harm the boy in anyway shape or form i suppose " answers Beatrice with picked curiosity

"But can you say what will happen if you try to analyse or disable the hat" asked Roswell

"I don't sense anything that might indicate the hat will do anything other then avoid being separated from him i suppose" answers Beatrice with curiosity written all over her face

"In that case i can try to disable it's mechanism thankfully my father was artificer so i learned few tricks in how to deal with enchanted items" as Roswell says this he proceeds to touch the hat with a hand that is completely covered in mana

And to his surprise he did managed to touch the hat but what he was not expecting is hat to jump into action almost like a angry woman who was touched by a man she don't approve and proceed to slap the perpetrator and slap it did as black tentacle looking thing shoot out off the hat and slapped Roswell across the face with sufficient force to push him to the ground and as soon as deed was done hat returned back to normal and all who see the hat feels as of the hat looking smugly at them

Seeing her beloved master getting slapped by some hat ram instantly pulled out her wand and was about to unleash hell on this dam thing but was stopped when she noticed black tentacle looking thing all around her ready to rip her to shreds if she finished her spell and as her spell was cancelled tentacle looking things returned back into a hat and hat returned to normal almost daring her to try attacking again

"Under no circumstances must you use any attack magical or otherwise that might harm the boy the hat will spring into action in order to defend him In fact" quickly answered Beatrice to the maid

As Roswell regained his senses he wiped off some blood off his mouth and tried to stand back up but his wobbly legs didn't support him well and he end up falling to side a bit seeing this ram grab hold off Roswell and helped him stay standing

"Thanks ram you really are good maid" says Roswell looking at ram and ram looked to a side with a small blush on her face responding "always lord Roswell"

As Roswell looked back toward hat he decided to try one more time but with absolute care and caution he enveloped his entire body in mana and put in extra defence layers around his face area and as he then tried to pick the hat up once more hat sprung into action but this time with a vengeance of a witch

As the leaped into action it covered entire room in Ul level shamack instantly thrown out maids and loli spirit out of the room using it's tentacles and promptly closing the door leading into a room and reinforcing the door with a wall of pure darkness seeing this maids instantly tried to break down the door but to no avail as their shout and scream were drowned by overpowering wall of shadows before them

Inside room how ever a certain clown was not having good time at all as his senses were reduced to a point where he could not even hear his own thoughts as Ul class shamack send targets mind into another dimension as clown was suffering the endless abyss that can brake even the strongest of minds he was expecting the greatest fear he ever had in his entire existence as clown was staring into abyss how ever the hat used it's tentacles to dismantle Roswells defences all of his barriers and defences were rendered worthless in matter of moments as hat released Roswell with from ul shamack the clown was absolutely frozen in fear with a slight wet sensation at his crouch area

But the hat was not done with clown for how dare this thing try to touch it without permission and not only that but this disgusting critter attempted to separate it from HER'S BELOVED Unforgivable crime that should be punished by death

And so the hat latch its black tendrils around Roswell suffocating and draining him of his life force (also known as od) in the most painful way imaginable the pain Roswell experienced in that moment was so strong that he was beginning to crave sweet sweet release of death it self

As the hat was draining Roswell a figure of pure shadow begin to take form behind only thing that was distinguishable about this figure that it was in shape of a humanoid made of pure darkness and before hat could do permanent unrecoverable damage it was visibly shaken as if something inside it triggered it self and so it dropped the husk of a man that was once known as Roswell what was left was at best described as mummified living remains dressed in shape of a clown and yet it was still alive so the shadow figure kicked the husk out off the room making absolutely sure to kick in between its legs and promptly vanish as if figure was never there to begin with

And when Roswell made contact with a door it burst open dispelling the shadow wall that was separating others from entering upon noticing the job well done hat returned to its original position back on Subaru's chest as if nothing happened

Upon seeing so called "greatest mage" being reduced into a state he was in Beatrice immediately went to check on him but before she could ram was already by his side screaming his name and gaining no response but still feel he is alive noticing this she looked up towards Beatrice who was checking clowns condition

"The fool of a clown will live and he recover back to normal in few days provided he rests well and drinks a lot of fluids in fact" says adorable little spirit earning grateful nod from Ram

Rem how ever holding her morning star off a weapon was about to jump into the room and make mess of the boy but was stopped by both ram and Beatrice

"Rem what do you think are you doing" shouts ram

"But sissy that thing in there smells like them he must be part off them" responded rem with little reasoning left in here

"Even if he is one off them do you see what that hat did to lord Roswell what do you think it will do to you?" shouted ram

"But sissy if i don't " and was promptly interrupted by ram again

"No i don't want to lose my sister to a hat" rams shout was sufficiently strong to put a brake on rems rage and to this Beatrice responded

"If he is part of that cult we can easily find out i suppose" as Beatrice says this she walks into the room and then she looks at the hat with caution

"If your owner is part off witch cult you will attack me moments i try to search him but if he is not you will allow me to prove his innocence so no harm may befall him in fact " says little 400 year old loli spirit and then she carefully touches Subaru and the hat do not respond at all

"I think i understand how this hat works now i suppose " says Beatrice

"It will act in any way possible to prevent any harm to this boy if not acting means boy will be safe from harm it will stop it self in fact" as Beatrice says this she begins to search Subaru for a certain book

"If the boy is part off that cult he will have gospel but if he is not he will not have it in fact" when Beatrice started this there's was visible twitch made by ram at the mention of a book that was not noticed by anyone at the same time rem narrowed her eyes

"But lady Beatrice he haves that stench on him" as rem says this she makes few steps inside the room and immediately hat sprung into action hovering above Beatrice's head and slowly extending its tendrils

"Maid leave this room right now" shouts Beatrice even dropping her normal speech pattern as she glares down the maid

"Your murderous intentions had been picked up by the hat and it will act accordingly to ensure safety of this boy haven't you heard a word i said i suppose" answered Beatrice to stubborn maid

"REM get back here" says ram shouting for her sister and then she promptly runs up to her and drags her out off room

As ram is dragging rem out off the room she says "Rem what's had gotten into you it's unlike you to act like this"

Seeing her sister this worried for her safety rem begin to clam down with few tears in her eyes " rem is sorry sissy"

"Gee you really are handful little sister" says ram as she gives a hug for her sister

As sisters were having their moment Beatrice made a discovery that see didn't expected

"I think i know where this stench of his coming from i suppose " says Beatrice as she grabs Subaru right hand and lifts it up and rolling down sleeves exposing the hand

And it took maids some time to process of what they were seeing a hand covered in black sickly veins that pulsating with Subaru hart beat at other parts of the hand had dark areas that looked as if it belonged to a beast then a human it's almost as if the hand was attempted to transform from human to a beast but failed mid way

"What is that" said maid twins in unison

"This is a curse and a powerful one at that what ever done this to him was not friend of his as the curse got consumed mid way through what ever it was doing i suppose " answered Beatrice with uncertain expression

"And this black mark stick of the sent a lot in fact" says Beatrice

Ram looked at the marks and made assumption " can it be battle scar ? " she asks loli spirit

"It appears to be one it seems this boy might have run in with sin archbishop of some sort and lived to tell the tail i suppose" stated loli spirit

Maid at complete loss for words decided to leave the boy be till he wakes up and at the same time both remembered the husk in a shape of human that was once know as Roswell still sleeping on the ground and immediately they went to attend to theirs lords well being

As Beatrice was only one left inside the room she looked at the boy with a bit of a wander and nostalgic sensation that was almost forgotten by the loli spirit a sensation of belonging but she shook her head calling it stupid and left back to her library

And so Natsuki Subaru was resting for next 2 days in reasonable tranquillity only visitor happen to be Emilia coming over to see if he awoken yet as the lonely half-elf was hoping that perhaps this might be just maybe willing to look at her as normal girl and not a witch and perhaps he might even be her friend as well as blue haired maid patrolling outside of his room but not daring to ender it as she was forbidden and so time went on until HE finally woken up.

As Subaru opened his eyes the was greeted with a familiar sealing and the very first thing he said

"Why there's a foot print on the sealing?" ask Subaru no one in particular

He looked around his room and found nothing in there worth mentioning so he did the only thing he needed to do he got up and went to look for his adorable little partner

As he exit his room he was walking down the hallway but soon realised that it's looping around it self after realising this Subaru huffed and shook his head murmuring to himself your adorable beako so he instantly turned towards the very first door he used to leave his room and was greeted by the stench of old books and there she sits facing the door without a word he walked up to the spirit and sit next to her facing her

"What are you doing i suppose" says Beatrice with mild annoyance as some what on guard against the boy

And the way Subaru responded to her was not what she expected for he simply stretched his had and said

(Authors notes: originally this interaction where supposed to be massive matrix reference with the blue pill and red pill but i rewrite all off it because i can't make Beatrice regaining her memories in a cheep joke i like her character way to much)

"do you like to see a pleasant dream that might become really for you if you so choose if yes take my hand and drain my mana you will know what to do afterwards" says Subaru with the shivering voice for he was barely containing his own emotions

Confused and intrigued little spirit did just as Subaru asked "I don't think i will ever see a pleasant dream but i take up on your offer i suppose" as she grabs Subaru's hand and begins draining mana she almost immediately noticed something inside his gate that should not be there for it was impossible to be there a remnants of a spirit contracts but not any spirit contract it was one made by herself

"Cold this be" as Beatrice whispered those words not intending for anyone to hear but Subaru still did and he imminently responded "it something even better to what you expecting" said Subaru with a smirk

But Beatrice was too focused to even notice Subaru words as she slowly and carefully begin opening the remnants of the contract almost like opening a book and as Beatrice opened the first page what she seen was this same exact situation of her meeting the boy for first time but instead of boy acting the way he did now the boy in this book was irritating her to no avail and she seen her own counter part throwing boy out off the library

"What is the meaning of this?" asked Beatrice to no one in particular but she continued reading this book non the less and as she did so she seen her interacting with the boy again and again the endless arguments the endless pestering from the boy the endless teasing and occasional happy and soft moments as Beatrice was reading this book she also began to experience emotions her counter part was expecting this made small tear appear on her eyes

But Beatrice marched on as the book of her memories was not finished and then she reached the memory a single brief memory that changed her life forever a time where she made a contract with this same boy surrounded by the burning library

As she reached this point Beatrice could no longer contain her self as the warmth and absolute joy inside her little spirits hart was way too much to contain and she burst into tears like 400 year old Dame and the free flowing tears on her face was so plentiful that it soaked Subaru chest as if some one poured bucket of water on him but Subaru didn't care all he cared about right now was to make sure this little girl who found herself on his chest have the best comfort he can provide

And as Subaru was lovingly and with utmost care slowly petting Beatrice's head in same way he always did Beatrice looked into Subaru and said "your my contractor but your not they as well" as she say so with shaken voice

And naturally Subaru responded " of course i am not some random they that made you wait for last 400 years i am Natsuki Subaru and i rushed to your side in the fastest possible way i know so you will not need to spend even a single second more clinging to this" as he said so he pointed toward a certain black cloud that appeared moment Subaru walked in the forbidden library

"what that" asked Beatrice and Subaru responded "that will be your book off wisdom that empty book and this black cloud preventing it from peaking on us" says Subaru with look of disgust on his face

"way do you-" as Beatrice was about to ask this Subaru instantly responded " because your so called mother uses this book to gather information around it and for amount of pain it cost you i will deny her satisfaction of knowing what answer you reached if she wans to know she will need to come and ask her self for this is one off few punishments i will give to your mother" answered Subaru as he earned a look from Beatrice with a bit off wander

"The answer i reached and if mother wants to know what it is she will need to come to me and ask" repeated little spirit as she contemplated implications of this statement

"Yes Beatrice your dead mother will never reach out to you BUT if you so happen to have information or knowledge she do not possess she will be drawn to it forcing her to meet you" as Subaru says this with mischief in his eyes

"And if you re make contact with me once more all memories you see and more is your on top of a knowledge that your mother could only dream about will be yours" as Subaru stated this it earned a bit of curiosity from little spirit she is echidonas child after all

"But before we can talk about that you will need to finish reading this book as it's only one time deal and it disappear moment i let go of your hand never to be accessed again" says Subaru as he made absolute sure to hold onto Beatrice as hard as he can without hurting her

"I understand i suppose " as Beatrice responded she returned back to reading the book in so she seen memories of her time as contracted spirit and her contractor the memories them self where as diverse as one could imagine from difficult times of time she was looking at her poor contractor hurting himself after bad nightmare to happy memories they spend together she even made friends outside of her contractor and visited few different cities

She even had a brief access inside the library of the sage himself if Beatrice had to describe all of these memories in single sentence it would be happy and enjoyable experience one she will trade for nothing in this world

But the last memory made her little concerned as it was memory of a shadow swallowing her hole

"Subaru what's was that shadow" asked Beatrice and Subaru didn't know how to respond

"Erm that is actually complicated to explain and i can only explain it in its entirety to my contacted spirit soo" to Subaru's sheepish response Beatrice narrowed her eyes

"What mess did you got yourself into this time you stupid contractor of mine in fact" as Beatrice says so she grabs Subaru's hand and says

"There's no way i am leaving you so if you need to re make contact i will do so in fact" says Beatrice with determination in her eyes

At this Subaru stated to tearing up as he was worried that Beatrice will not want to go with him again

"i love you beakooooooo" as Subaru said this he instantly hugged his now fuming spirit "contract first messing around later in fact" said Beatrice as she given small chop on Subaru head and to that he simply nodded

As they interviewed theirs hands Beatrice said " upon my name as grate spirit of ying (shadow) keeper of forbidden library i hereby declare natsuki Subaru shall be my contractor" as Beatrice looked around her self for a moment she made small smile

" contracts conditions are natsuki Subaru will not make any situation where forbidden library be burned to the ground or otherwise destroyed " as Beatrice says so she looks at Subaru with mischief and a smile on her face

"Second contracts condition are Subaru will be holding my hand at least once a day and we shall sleep together at leas 3 times a week " as Beatrice says this Subaru eyes simply turned soft and he had caring smile directed at loli spirit

" third natsuki Subaru may never contract any spirits other then my self" Subaru simply nodded

As Beatrice was about to make forth conditions Subaru simply say this

"Forth Beatrice will be given permission to use and access all equipment or areas that are spiritually bound to me"

As Subaru said this Beatrice was visibly confused but nodded anyhow for she trusted this man before her with her life

"Fifth Natsuki Subaru will always take care off spirit Beatrice for she will always do the same" as Beatrice said this it took her few moments to realise what she said and immediately her face was competing with her own red dress who can have brighter shade of red

At this Beatrice signalled to Subaru to see if he have anything more to say

"six contracts condition will be for Beatrice to never disclose existence known as room or any sensitive information regarding it she can how ever share certain knowledge that can only be found in a room with permission" said Subaru nodding to himself only to earn confused look from Beatrice once more

"Seventh Beatrice will always be one Subaru ask for help first " as she said this and nodding to her self thinking that it's about time he be asking for help about his nightmares

That earned small chuckle from Subaru as he murmured under his breath "cute cute"

Then both looked at one another and nodded

"Upon the witness of od lagna this contract between natsuki Subaru and spirit Beatrice is now sealed" said Beatrice signalling contracts completion

Beatrice now looked at Subaru with expecting gaze and to this Subaru simply picked her up

" Now we shall go to a room and you will learn everything you need to know how ever there is one small part that i can't yet explain and that is in regard to my nightmares but don't worry i don't have them anymore so it's a thing of a past that should stay in past" as Subaru said this he opened a black wall of a shadow that looked like hole in air and simply walked right through it like the most normal thing

And as he passed this shadow wall there was audible thud as boy body fallen to the ground inside library but there was no body of spirit in sight.

Inside the room as Subaru calls it Beatrice was having absolutely purest form of wander in her eyes for she was surround by thing's that she never seen before for there was all forms of mechanical looking items all around her

"What is this she asks i suppose" pointing at TV

"Remember i once told you what a TV is this is replication of my home in where i grew up as result all items working in a way i remember them to and they look like i remember them to so you can familiar yourself with some off my Subaru isms and what they actually meant" as Subaru said this he placed Beatrice on the ground

And the little loli spirit like child she looks like begin running around the room as if she is a child inside candy shop pointing at everything and saying what's this to Subaru as he slowly and with a patience of a father explained her what is what and what it do this wen on for good 3 hours

As exhausted but extremely happy little spirit collapsed onto a couch and some what drained boy fallen onto a chair he said "you might want to meet the next door tenants of this place" to this Beatrice perked her head widening her eyes " there's more people here? I suppose " asked Beatrice

"Yea there is and you can say main reason for this situation is her" as he said this he walked up to front door of the room and opened the door to let her in

And to Beatrice bewilderment there she stood with appearance of pucks contractor but dressed in skinny black jeans with small black tank top holding basket full off candy's and fruits and adorning exceptionally nervous expression as the worm looked up to Beatrice she shyly waved at her

"What is that silly girl doing here i suppose " asked Beatrice pointing towards the woman

At this gesture Subaru could not help but chuckle

"She is not Emilia" said Subaru looking at his little spirit

As Beatrice began to contemplate what is happening she instantly widened her eyes and pulled up her guard looking at the woman

"Is she t-t-t-" asked little spirit pointing her finger

And to this Subaru responded " yes and you might want to talk to her and don't worry she is harmless inside this room so no need to stay on edge " as Subaru said so it earned small sad small from a woman but spirit simply exhale her breath

"Explain what is going on and why is She here" asked Beatrice with mild irritation

" Allow me to do so" said the woman

And so Sattela explained what happened as well as contract between her and Subaru as she was doing so Subaru added few elements of the story from his side talking with and explaining everything to little spirit in perfect sink almost as if they practiced this very conversation before or they know each other on really deep level

As Beatrice was listening to the pair she asked " then what about the hat it don't explain where that thing comes from" asked loli spirit with suspicion

"Yes about that you see it took me a lot off time to get my mind back in order after the merging of memories i think it took from my perspective about 5 year or was it 8 years time in this place is bit subjective so i don't know for sure" answered Subaru with serious expression

"As time went on she and i well let's say were working out some difference of opinions that led to some fights" says Subaru scratching his cheek

"But after we went past that we were able to work few things out" responded the woman

"The equipment was one off those things other thing be the device over there" as he pointed toward computer

"And i don't expect she agreed to anything for free" asked Beatrice with suspicion

"Well that's true but it's something a little naughty " answer Subaru hiding his face behind his hands

"Don't tell me she forbidden you from ever having children or forming romantic relationships with others ? I suppose" Beatrice asked with suspicion in her eyes

" no no no i can't ever do that if i did he will permanently stop any and all interactions with me" said the woman as she shakes her had in front off her face

"Then what do you get in return i suppose " asked Beatrice

To this now blushing mess of a woman come close and whisper something into little spirits ears and as if struck by lightning Beatrice hugged her self and start shaking her head " i don't want to image that no no no no no" shouting the little girl

After some time Beatrice finally calmed down and said with a matter of a fact voice pointing towards Subaru

"You keep your bedroom activities with other women to your self" said Beatrice with a solid blush on her face sand somewhat threatening voice

Both sattela and Subaru lifted their hands in air in perfect sink and said " under no circumstances will Beatrice be exposed to that " as Subaru and satella looked to one another the giggled a little

"Don't worry beako this entire arrangement only makes it so that i have less days to sleep alone for i can't ever be by myself anymore" as Subaru said this he had somewhat exhausted voice

" but what happens to the you know ones she" asks Beatrice with shaken voice

" aa about that the one's she partially possess as name suggests is what it is nothing more she can't control them at all think of this as advanced version of spell nect" as Subaru said with reassured expression

"Yes Subaru bade it PAINFULLY CLEAR to me that he will never allow me ever take over anyone and control them" says sattela with sad expression and few small tears in her eyes

Subaru nodded his head to this " and so we made compromise of sorts" Subaru said

"And regardless ones that gets partially possess will never be able to tell they where for their minds be overwhelmed by shared sensation as not only me but others will experience the same as its 2 way street so to speak" answered blushing mess of a woman

Beatrice sight as if the weight of the world just dropped off her shoulders and said " fine do whatever but know this if under any circumstances this arrangement turns bad for him i will not sit idly by and watch" said loli spirit with iron clad determination in her eye's

The woman simply sighed and responded " i understand and i can only ask to give me a chance" said sattela with somewhat of sadness in her voice and Subaru responded

"Well look at my adorable little beako you managed to bend the witch her self to your cuteness" said Subaru with amused look

To this sattela looked at him as if he is mad but Subaru simply responded " as long as nothing bad comes out off the this Beatrice will do nothing that means she will tolerate you to a point" answered Subaru looking toward sattela and at same time she herd Hm as Beatrice turned her head sideways (typical Beakos response wen she acts as tsundarela)

"Ok then now can you explain what was that hat thing i suppose" asked Beatrice with curiosity in her voice that she was trying and failing to hide

"Oh that you can think of that as something similar to Reinhards sword that's made of almost pure mana and some of hair from her and in order to it to stay in shape it must be bound to living user otherwise it collapse into mana" answered Subaru as if teaching the child

"Not only that but because some of my hair is part off it's construction that results into object having extremely limited will of its own it's more similar to a spirit and a witch beast hybrid in a way" answered sattela with a finger in air like talking in class

To this Beatrice simply looked at the pair with dumbfounded expression on her face

"did you created new form of life? How what" as Beatrice was having her brain melted by implications of this item Subaru answered

"No no no it's not living at all but it's not inanimate object as well back in my hometown we used to have a saying that items after sufficiently long time gain a will" answered Subaru

"And we called them "possessed items" or " cursed items" this thing was made using that as basic idea " as Subaru answered this Beatrice having yet another brain meltdown

"You know it's funny we got this idea watching some horror movie from my hometown one day" answered Subaru with sheepish smile

"Horror movie? I suppose " asked Beatrice tilting her head

"You see that computer over there i had sattela here connect it with my worlds internet in same way as she summoned me so we can watch or learn things from there i believe you will find it really interesting" as Subaru said this he looked at Beatrice and could see a child's curiosity begging to take hold

"Back then i wanted to talk with my parents but there was no way for me to do so after some brainstorming and few suggestions sattela here agreed and we tried and it worked " as Subaru said this with a prideful look on his face

" after my beloved told me i can learn more about his world and actually talk to his parents there's was no way for me to say no" said sattela as she grabbed Subaru arm and had his arm warp around herself

"i not going to think why you was so keep on introducing your self to my parents " said Subaru sensing that certain girl wants a cuddle and he firmly grabbed her waist and pulled her into his embrace resting the girls back on his chest

Upon seeing the display of affection between 2 Beatrice asked " Subaru how do you see her as now"

And Subaru responded " a complicated mess of a relationship that's something between close friends and actual couple" answered Subaru almost immediately

"Believe in me beako even i don't fully understand my relationship with her but i know one thing she and i are stuck with one another permanently" as Subaru were saying this sattela was visibly sad at first but when he finished talking she had bright happy expression on the face .

As Beatrice simply shook her head she proceeded to play with the computer and asked Subaru to teach her how to use this thing and Subaru promptly did so.

But to Beatrice disappointed she couldn't reed the language of this thing so Subaru downloaded a children's book that is meant to teach children to read and printed it out

"Now beaco you will see something interesting take a look " as Subaru said so he took this printed book and put it outside off room he wanted for a bit and pulled it back and to Beatrice there was no difference but to Subaru he was having the biggest smile on his face

"What did you doo i suppose " she asked and Subaru waiting for this question immediately responded

"I made it so that you can actually take this book outside off the room but only you and i can read it for others it will appear as black dots " answered Subaru with satisfaction

"You see Beatrice i can make things using some of my miasma and add few details to objects i learned this when we were making hat with my beloved " answered sattela with smug expression

"the way it works I provide concept and basic form using my memory or computer over there as well as the intended functions then sattela using her witch factor and her mana pool binds them together making this" says Subaru as he holds the book

"Well not really the one who binds it together is my beloved all i do is let you use my witch factor as i am way better at separating things then putting them back together" answer sattela with bit saddens in her voice

"Well details thing is it works and we can have beako here new books to read" as Subaru saying this he hands the book to Beatrice and she promptly hugged it like school girl

"But i suppose this is enough info dump on you for one day beacko how about we go back to real world my body is still a sleep in your library" as Subaru said this Beatrice realise exactly the problem with a room only mind can enter not a body

"Is my body sleeping on the ground as well i suppose " asked Beatrice with a bit off a worry

"No your body is made of mana as result you can come and go without leaving yourself unconscious on the ground" responded sattela with a bit off longing expression looking at Subaru

Upon seeing this Subaru scratch his cheeks and responded

" When i woken up it was still a night time yes i want to leave my body in the bed and go back to sleep in real world i probably come back here or i just fall a sleep i still don't fully understand how the room works" answered Subaru making certain girl immediately have bright smile on her face in anticipation

"I understand i suppose" responded Beatrice with a small sight

As human and the spirit left the room the woman inside the room was moving towards wardrobe muttering to her self " i wander what should i wear next" as she was contemplating of what to pick to gain a little more attention from her beloved

Back inside forbidden library Subaru immediately grabbed certain lack book off the shelf and passed it to Beatrice at same time having finger next to his lips signalling to stay quiet about what she seen

"what should i do with this now i suppose" Asked Beatrice looking toward the book the one her mother given to her

After what felt like eternity she remembered a certain memory from her other self and a words told to her by this same boy

"I been good girl for last 400 years following mother's command to the letter " says Beatrice taking the book in one hand and looking at Subaru with a small smile

"How about i finally enter my rebellion phase hmmm mother " as she says this she looks at the black book with determination in her eyes

" And if you want to know what i know now you come and ask yourself for i know even more about atlas then even you" as Beatrice said this she could feel the book in her hand begin to come back into life as new words started to engraving them self into it

This made Beatrice to tear up but she chose to ignore the book "what ever you wished to say to me you have to say in person not via pesky book" as Beatrice said this she looked at the book one last time and set it on fire

As she throw the burning book into nearly bucket she casts al shamack on the bucket and sends bucket and burning book into another dimension never to be seen again

" Erm beacko how do you know about atlas" asked Subaru with confusion written on his face

" back when mother was still alive she treasured a certain book above all else as that book contained some knowledge of stars i don't know how she got it but to her it was most praised possession" answered Beatrice with sad and somewhat nostalgic look

Then she looked at Subaru and started " the language of your hometown as you call it is same language as it was on that book so i can say it originated from there" answered Beatrice with now shaking voice and upon seeing this Subaru picked up the little girl into his embrace

To this Beatrice simply buried her head into his chest with a small sobs and Subaru promptly left the library so as not to trigger more sad memories for loli spirit and back to his guest room he gently putted down Beatrice into the bed and covered her into a blanket and then he hugged the blanket and was whispers reassuring words until both fallen a sleep.

Unbeknownst to both there was a woman sitting inside field of grass on top off a little hill next to a coffee table holding cup of tea in her hands with a expression of burning curiosity and fire of envy in her eyes for she was envious off her little artificial spirit of actually learning more about atlas but what was making her feel even more emotions is that boy she seen for but a brief moment

"What is that enigma in a shape of a boy that seduced my little creation" asked the woman to herself

"What a sinful man to peek my curiosity like that and deny knowledge to me like that ahhhhh i want to know" says the woman but this time almost with a expression of maiden in love

"Is this what they call love what a interesting emotion" as she says this she had sinister smile on her face and nearby shadow looked at the woman on the hill with confusion and worry

"mama mama Dona dona is acting weird" said small child looking girl pointing toward the woman on the hill

"Leave her be she probably will start to get noisy again ehhh..." said woman laying next to a child with exhausted sight

"Dona getting hungry i wander what the diner will be like" said small child looking girl inside massive centipede coffin as she was licking off her own drool

"Something interesting happened and i don't know what" said a woman with a massive sinister smile on her face from a top off the hill

As all shadows seen her like this they all had various reactions as one roles her eyes with a huff muttering "here we go again" other sights third one tilted her head trying to understand but failing the fourth one was already looking for a way to run away the fifth one already forgotten about it all and was looking for something to eat and so the dream work resumed it tranquillity for a brief time at least.

And so new day comes for residents of Roswell mansion

But to bewilderment of the residents this day did not went as imagined by all off residents as they known the boy will be waking up today so they went inside his room to check up on him and what they found was nothing they expected

Maids looking at one another almost as saying to one another i am seeing this right ? As other maid simply nods as if saying yes its actually happening

"We should better inform lord Roswell of this" says ram as she grabs her sister not willing to leave her sister alone in same room as boy

"Yes we should" answered ram as both went to fetch their lord

As maids almost ran out off the room looking for their lord emilia entered the room as well with confusion on her face "what's going on" and then Emilia was greeted by the most adorable sight she ever witnessed as little blond girl was cuddling up with the boy almost like parent and a child or close siblings for there where only 2 words to describe the scene cute and adorable

(Authors notes: residents of mansion never informed Emilia about the hat for it can be seen as ransacking boys belongings)

Upon witness this hart warming scene Emilia could not bring herself to interrupt it and simply sat down next to the bed of duo enjoying the sight with a warm smile and some where deep inside her hart she had small almost inaudible voice screaming at her off how much she wishes to be part of this.

But this hart warming scene was promptly interrupted as doors to the room flung open with a thud for maids find their lord and he had to come in witness Beatrice acting like little sister to a random stranger.

"What's is the meaning of this Beatrice" asked the clown dropping any and all speech pattern he normally uses

Sluggish Beatrice lifted her head off Subaru chest give one look at the clown and all she said " how rude i suppose" as she said so she lifts her hand and tossed Roswell out off the room in same way she did almost everything day to the boy in a mansion

Roswell in absolute shock simply could not even process what was going on before door closed in front off his face he then took few moments to collect him self and entered room once more but this time gently opening the door.

"Lady Beatrice i cannot allow such rude behaviour towards lord off the mansion" said ram with something akin to rage in her eyes

"Rude one is the one who burst in the room and expecting not to be kicked out for rude behaviour in fact" said Beatrice with a humf

"It's fine ram it was indeed rude off me to burst into the room like that" said the clown returning back to his usual way of talking

(Authors notes: i am not writing Roswells speech patter too much pain in the ass)

"What do you want i suppose" asked Beatrice with annoyed expression looking at the clown

"I only wanted to find out how did this come about" said Roswell pointing towards the bed where Subaru and Beatrice were laying on

"Could this boy be-" as Roswell was about to ask this question he got interrupted by Beatrice

"He is not Beatrices they in fact" responded Beatrice with a prideful nod like saying the most obvious thing in the world

Yet again Roswell looked completely lost for words and with absolute disbelief in thing he heard

"Subaru is bettys Subaru and he is way better then some they can ever be in fact" said Beatrice with absolute conviction and nodded to her self

" How i but-" as Roswell was struggling for words THE human finally lifted his head off the pillow to see the commotion that's going on he looked at everyone in the room in slow motion closely observing everyone but the spirit by his side

He looked towards the half-elf sitting by his bed side and said " what did i do to earn this privilege of witnessing angel first thing in the morning" as he said so with a bright smile earning giggle from the half-elf

"Subaru stop saying silly things first thing in the morning" responded emilia trying to hide her giggle with the hand in exceptionally cute way

And as Subaru was about to make his typical comment he was interrupted by Roswell " ohhh i see my dear Guest finally woken up" said Roswell in his creepy manner

Subaru simply looked at him and said " who call in vily vanker first thing into a morning" said Subaru with neutral expression

(Authors notes: i wander how many people will actually get this joke ^_^)

"I feel like my reputation is under assault my i ask who is this vili wanker" asked Roswell with expression of befitting that of a noble

" A certain clown that no responsible parent should ever leave their children with" responded Subaru with a small amusement

"Now what's made you think so" said Roswell with a visible twitch on his eyes

But before Subaru could respond Beatrice decided to chime in "because you shouldn't be allowed near children alita in fact" said Beatrice with knowing expression and devious smile

Upon hearing Beatrices comment Roswells eye's widened to a point that it almost popped out off his eyelids

"or do i need to use my shoe again i suppose" said Beatrice with a mischief in her eyes

As Roswell finally began to understand what's going on here he said " well talking inside dear guest room like this is extremely rude so we should talk more at the breakfast table rem ram make sure you prepare the best breakfast possible for this important guest " as Roswell said this there was visible sweat on his forehead he then promptly left the room

Seeing lord of the manor addresses this seemingly insignificant boy in such respectful manner maids instantly adopted the professional demeanour

"understand lord Roswell guest-sama will be treated with utmost respect" responded both in unison as they given curiosity bow towards Subaru and left room leaving Emilia absolutely bewildered as she simply couldn't understand what's happening.

She then turned towards the boy who looked amused by the display shown to him by the lord and asked "erm Subaru are you someone important i never seen Roswell act like that" asked Emilia as she tiled her head

"No no i am nobody just a simple human boy you can find everywhere nothing special " Subaru said this with matter of fact type voice Beatrice could be seen rolling her eyes with a warm nostalgic smile and small chuckle

"Oh you still didn't got over that humble attitude i suppose " said Beatrice as she find that to be mildly irritating

"Erm Beatrice how long you know Subaru you talking as if you know him for super long time" said Emilia with something akin to jealousy in her voice

"Beako and i only meet this morning Emilia but we shared a pleasant dream together" as Subaru said this he was whacked by Beatrice to the side saying "stop your pervert comments already in fact" followed by humf to this Subaru grabbed Beatrice from behind and pulled her closer saying cute cute

"Well i think we should get going it's a new day and new beginning " as Subaru promptly puts Beatrice on his shoulders sand up and says that to emilia extending his hand towards her

"You willing to join me in my morning ritual of sorts" says Subaru with cheerful smile on his face upon seeing this emilia hesitates for a little bit and takes his hand

As Subaru and his gang was going outside a certain clown was speeding toward his office dismissing his worried maids as he got inside his office and sat on his chair he carefully pulled out a certain black book and with a shaking hands he opened to read it to his small comfort the book didn't updated itself and it's still told the future he was expecting But this gut wrenching sensation that something is absolutely wrong didn't leave him

He then began to think back on encounter with this boy and he remember the look in his eyes and upon remembering that look Roswell begin to shiver in cold sweat as it was of a look that could pierce his very soul observe everything that is Roswell as there no secrets hidden from his gaze a gaze that makes one feel as if he is looked by forces of heaven and hell ready to cast judgement upon the sinner

A gaze That made Roswell Alita matters feel like he was a naked child staring towards the Titan who is about to trample him as Roswell with a shaking hands slowly hugged his book he whisper "what in the od's name was that boy who the hell is he" and then Roswell closing his eyes whispered one last time "teacher grant me strengths"

And so The cheerful happy looking trio found themselves outside off the house in the garden and emilia asked about the ritual Subaru mentioned to that Subaru explained about cardio gymnastics and showed how to do then all the time praising it's effects to emilias surprise Beatrice was perfectly performing it but before she could ask puck come out shouting VICTORY

"Ohh look whose coming out and here i thought you preferred staying inside crystal of yours all day" said Subaru with amused expression earning sight from Beatrice and somewhat bitter look from puck

"What's that supposed to mean" said puck with narrow eyes only to earn grin from Subaru looking at puck "now who was correct and who was wrong i NEED to her you say this" says Subaru with a shit eating grin only to earn puck grinding his teeth in absolute hatred of situation he found himself holding his shaking fists "fine you where right happy now" as he looked towards Subaru with pure anger only to see laughing boy

"You did good service for me yesterday and i Have to reward it" says puck grinding his teeth only to earn even bigger laughter from the boy

" Ehhh ehh... ok let's see i let you pick one of 3 options and you can call us even option number one you permanently call your self as The failure of a father" said Subaru as he was having trouble beading from laughing too hard

"Option number 2 you will teach everything you were supposed to teach as a father should to child everything and you start now" said Subaru holding hand with 2 fingers in air

"Option number 3 you find a house cat to replace you" as he said this puck was torn between wanting to kill this boy in front off him and be done with it or actually do as boy demanded

" As a spirit your promise means a lot unless you don't care about said things" as Subaru said it he was looking at puck as if he is insignificant

But before puck can respond emilia jumped in "Subaru why do i feel you don't like puck very much" asked emilia innocently

Upon hearing this Beatrice only offered small prayer for her brother as she knows why Subaru don't like puck much anymore but she also don't want them 2 fighting

" Well let's say i have hard time liking anyone that calls them self a parent but failing of actually live up to the role" said Subaru like it's matter of fact and emilia started defend puck

"But puck been good to me for a long time" answered Emilia with small pout

" was he good or was he good father because i never heard you refer to him as such" asked Subaru seriously looking at emilia

As Subaru said this both Emilia and puck took a step back and Emilia not knowing what to do simple lower her head

Upon seeing Emilias reaction puck had a bit off identity crisis as what the boy was saying is true and a thought that puck desperately tried to avoid started creeping into his mind " i am failure of a father" said puck with something of resignation in his voice that earned subtly angry responses from Subaru

"So now that you realise how much of a failure you are you going to run away from your problems" said Subaru with a calm wrath in his voice

"Or are you going to actually start acting like father should" asked Subaru with intensity in his eyes that made puck want to run away

"I i i but what should i do then" asked cat spirit looking toward the boy

"How about you start teaching her things she needs to know to survive such as how to defend herself" said Subaru like teacher

"teach her how to make friends or interact with other's so she can be happy and not lonely like i see she is" said Subaru with disappointed expression

But emilia immediately went to deny that by saying "i am half-elf with silver hair and amethyst eyes-"

"that looks like spitting image of the dreaded so called pure evil of the legends im i right" Subaru said this with small smirking face

" Yes no one wants to talk to me even look at me because-" as emilia was saying this she begin to tear up and have something like resignation in her voice but Subaru forced her to a halt

" Then how about i prove to you that not everyone see you as such Or that anyone are capable of accepting you for who you are and not what you look like" said Subaru with unwavering determination that made emilia voice come to a halt as she covered her mouth with her hands at same time leaking few tears of joy

To puck that was the greatest hit to his pride ever moment he felt the joy inside emilia via his contract something he was feeling grateful for but at same time feeling like absolute crap because he failed to make emilia feel joy like this ever and the boy who only meet her did so like nothing puck beginning to understand exactly how slothful he actually is just like Subaru intended

"I think i must go for now i have a lot to think" said puck as he begins to fly away only to be stopped by Beatrice

"Let's go to library we can talk there i suppose " Beatrice said this with small caring smile on her face looking at puck and then looked at Subaru and nodded her head as if saying i take it over from here

Seeing Beatrices nod Subaru smiled and put his hand on his chest lowering his head as if saying to her "i can always count on you" with adorning expression on his face

Emilia was about to say something but was promptly stopped by Subaru holding his hand and looking at her shaking his head

" he needs time to process what i told him but don't worry when he comes back he will be way better for it so leave him alone with beako for now and give him a day or two" answered Subaru and earned a bit of a hesitant nod

"Now that this heavy stuff out off the way how about we brighten a mood a little" as Subaru said this with his trademark mark smile on his face emilia felt as if she is finally home where she belongs

As the result she cheerfully with few tears of joy in her eyes responded with "yes let's"

And so Subaru pulled out his guitar and began playing happy and cheerful sounding song and with every time emilia heard Subaru singing voice she could swear that it was eating away at her pain her sorrow her burdens and leaving nothing but warmth joy and happiness behind ahhh so liberating was the thought inside her mind

This continued for sometime but eventually maids finished making breakfast and as theirs lords commanded it must be done with absolute perfection

"Emilia-sama guest-sama breakfast are ready we ask that you make your way toward the dining room" said maids in unison showing perfect professionalism fit for matters maids

Seeing the maids especially blue maid Subaru simply had exhausted expression whispers to him self "one problem at the time" and taking deep sight he lifted his own spirits as said "lead the way then" but before he could follow maids he extend his hands at sitting half-elf helping her to stand up in knight like manner

Something that earned Emilia and even maids look of surprise but Emilia took the hand with a cheerful smile on her face said "thank you"

As they're where walking toward dining halls maids where whispering to one another in a way no one other may hear

"Is he a knight" asked red maid "i don't know" responded blue maid "but his hand are like that of someone who never worked in his life he must be noble or similar" said blue maid "lord Roswell asked to show utmost care toward him and watch him" responded red maid "understood sissy" nodded blue maid covering her nose

As Subaru, Emilia and maids entered the dining room they where greeted with Beatrice holding defeated looking puck and at the end off the table cheerful Roswell who was extending his both hand says "welcome welcome"

Subaru took a single look towards Roswell and simply rolled his eyes

"Emilia-sama i trust you keep dear guest entertained in this beautiful morning" said Roswell as he was having his cheerful fake smile

"No no it was Subaru that was keeping me entertained all i did was sit there" answered Emilia with a blush and the look in her eyes as if she feels refreshed

Something that where seen by puck who simply tried to make himself as small as possible but Beatrice simply given him small tap over his head

" ohhh my dear guest i believe i forgot to formally introduce my self in the morning" said Roswell as he had his hands on his chest

"I am Roswell L maters kingdom of Laguna best magic user and lord to the matters domain" said Roswell in noble way

To this Subaru sighted then lifted his one hand and made hat appear out from inside his hand and placed it on his head then he took his trademark pose and said

" My name Is Natsuki Subaru contractor to grate spirit Beatrice and the Summoner a man with plenty of tricks nice to meet you" as he said this he took his hat off and placed it next to his hart with a small nod

All residents of mansion looked toward Beatrice even thought they suspected this they still wanted for her to say it

And Beatrice in her typical fashion responded "yes Subaru is Betty's Subaru now so get used to it" said loli with humf

This earned warm smile from Subaru and small giggle from Emilia as puck was still out off action to actually process what was said

"And how did this come about " asked Roswell looking toward Beatrice and Beatrice looked towards Subaru who was having mischief in his eyes something Beatrice was more then happy to go along with

"That is secret between spirit and her contractor and you shall not know in fact" responded Beatrice with a humf

Not having given answer Roswell looked towards Subaru who in turn said " you heard the lady " with a mischief in his eyes

"So i am to accept that some stranger comes in and make contact with resident spirit on his first day here" responded the clown with bit off threatening voice

To this Subaru made absolute sure Roswell see the hat as he placed back On his head something Roswell slightly recoil from

" What you accept or not is irrelevant what is important is that you understand that she and i are now contracted" answered Subaru with finally in his voice something Roswell could not go against to

"And might i ask what is that hat off yours" asked Roswell pointing towards the hat

" a simple black cowboy hat that was given to me by good friend of mine" responded Subaru with a smirk and expecting look in his eyes

"I must know who was the one that maid this enchanted hat off yours" said Roswell expecting to shake the boy

But Subaru responded "and how do you know it's enchanted have you tried to ransacking my stuff without permission? " said Subaru as he looked towards Roswell in amused expression something emilia immediately took note off

"Roswell do you want to say you went through Subaru's stuff like thefts do" asked Emilia with something like disbelief in her voice

Nothing this Roswell understood that if he tried to push this boy he risk losing the half-elf trust and with that his goal will be gone it's something he simply can't afford

As result Roswell decided to make sure the doll will not get any dangerous ideas so he needed the doll to remember where she stands

"We can leave that for later but i must ask do you know situation within the kingdom Subaru" asked Roswell with sinister smile only to be met by bored looking Subaru

"Yea kingdoms royal family died to disease that only affected the royal family as result it's safe to assume kingdom needs new ruler and seeing as you and rainhard the sword saint talking with emilia using Sama it's safe to assume she have something to do with it" responded Subaru with a small yawn almost as saying the most obvious thing in the world

This got all but Beatrice surprised when Subaru stated it

"Subaru did you managed to figure it all out from just that" asked Emilia with a wander in her eyes

"Your deduction is most impressive i must admit allow me to present you with royal candidate Emilia-sama that i Roswell L maters sponsor" said Roswell as if making a point something emilia understood no Roswell no dragon blood to free her people to this she lower her head

But only to be greeted by question from Subaru " say Emilia why are you running for this election anyway" said Subaru with caring look on his face almost as if trying to push small child to take it's first steps

"my goal is to have equality between demi-humans and humans so all be treated the same" said Emilia almost like a lie only to be greeted by Subaru remarks once more

"But there's more to it then this right what are you wishing to gain for your self from this" asked Subaru almost like looking at the child who is afraid to take her first steps

Emilia not wanting to lie anymore lower her head again and said " i want to free people from elio's forest" said emilia as if confessing the biggest sin of her life

To this Subaru simply said " ahh frozen forest yes i know that place from stores but how do that forest and election play together again? " asked Subaru with his bead tilted something that maid Roswell widen his eyes in recognizing of how dangerous this boy actually is because the boy was asking dangerous questions

"Umm you see Roswell said that elio's forest and be healed using dragon blood and if i become queen i can get some of this blood" said emilia as she looked to her feet at same time twirling her fingers

"Oh really you don't say" as Subaru said this he looked towards the clown with knowing expression and devious smirk almost as if he is saying to Roswell how much in trouble he is something Roswell picked up really fast and Roswells mind started to move at speed of light trying to figure a way too keep the boy quiet but come short

"i know it's really selfish of me but i must do this to free people inside the forest" said emilia looking like small child who was caught doing something bad only to earn giggle from Subaru as he was looking towards emilia with a warm smile

"Do explain to me in what's way do that benefits you so that you can call is selfish" asked Subaru with amusement

"The people in the forest are elven people so you know they my people and that saving them is like" as emilia was struggling to make it sound selfish and failing miserably Subaru decided to put a brake to her speech

"It's selfless act in any way shape or form for you only trying to free your people and not doing anything that can be seen as harmful to anyone in process you have nothing to feel bad about " said Subaru with a warm nostalgic expression Roswell sensing opening decided to regain control of conversation

" And i agreed to help lady emilia here with this goal of hers" says Roswell pretending to be benevolent but Subaru was not done with this clown

" You do know this entire story doesn't add up yes " said Subaru as a matter of a fact

Something that emilia immediately picked up on and Roswell was being to sweat afraid where this will go next

"I don't doubt that what i am saying is this How do royal family died to diseases while having legendary item that is said to be capable of curing any and all ailments" said Subaru as a matter of a fact

Upon hearing this emilia looked at Roswell who was nearly losing his will to live as his goal is slowly slipping past his hands he's mind was desperately searching for anything to salvage situation to his favour but finding nothing

Roswell known this is it his goal is gone the doll will return back to forest and his ambition be left in ruins as his eyes where slowly losing it's light he got unexpectedly help as if master throwing a bone towards it's dog

"Well i suppose there's still a way to get that blood" said Subaru with a shrug but then looked towards Roswell as if saying Bark you dog

Roswell realise that there's still hope to salvage situation looked pleading towards Subaru only to be met with expression telling him to bark and so he did

"And what it might be dear Subaru" said Roswell now full understand who is he dealing with here and that his old tricks hold little value against this boy

"You will still need to meet the dragon to say your now queen and old royal family is gone" answered Subaru like it's the most obvious thing in the world

At this emilia had expression of oh yeaaa that's right

And Roswell was lost for words as his mind failed to make connection about something that simple he then looked at the boy before him and was greeted with eyes of a master merchant that could kill him as easily as if flipping the coin

Roswell felt cold sweat coming down his back but he must gain this boy for this endeavour he now knows that as a fact and so Roswell decided to try and tie him in using reward as a way to do so

"And with that it finally comes to this because of your deed in capital upon my name as Roswell L maters i shall do my upmost to reward you for this endeavour name anything you might desire and i shall make it happen if it's in my power to do so" answered Roswell with a his fake smile

"There's not in your power that you can do to reward me" answered Subaru with amusement

As Roswell heard this he frozen shut his mind frozen his very soul frozen as he didn't expected something like that

Few seconds later Roswell pointed finger toward him self in disbelief and said

" I am the lord of matter domain and most powerful magic user in the kingdom surly there's something i can offer you as reward" upon seeing Roswells reaction Subaru could not help but burst into laughter

"Im sorry i don't mean to laugh at you it's just your reaction remained me of a certain woman pff... hahahahahha" Subaru was comparing teacher and her students reaction and finding it almost identical

Witnessing Subaru's reaction Roswell now realised that he actually don't Know anything about boy in front off him not only that but the boy other then his name and title he disclosed nothing and not even his maids got any substantial information on him as maids reports about the boy were way too inconsistent one moment he acts like a fool but then he acts like knight and now he acts like merchant there's simply no predicting this boy but Roswell must try

"You mentioned about being The summer that must mean you are something akin to magic user yes in that case i can offer you knowledge that can only be found in here and only here" Roswell was getting desperate but he must gain this boys support surely his knowledge of arcane arts will be enticing

Yet again Roswell forgot about the most obvious thing as result he had to try anything so he grabbed for straws that he might work

"matter domain is rich in all sorts of resources surely some gold or other materials might be to your satisfaction i believe lady emilia mentioned you have no place to stay" as Roswell stated this he was visibly sweating from his forehead as this is his last card to play

Subaru simply pulled out the cape he stolen from elsa few night before and placed it on the table he searched it for a bit looking for something and he found it then he placed a gold punch on table next to cape

"Few days ago in a fight against elsa i got this cape from her so it belongs to me now and in here" he pointed toward gold patch "is the money for the job she was meant to do but failed because of this i have all the money i need for a start as i can easily use this money to rent random inn and start my business i do have a lot of experience as trader after all" Subaru said it as matter of a fact only to see that life in Roswells eyes diminishing and Subaru decided to stop messing with the clown he had his fun now it time to stop

"But seeing as you so desperate to repay for my deed of saving Emilia here how about you save me some time on searching for an inn and let me stay here free of charge i come and i go as i please permanently" answered Subaru with a smirk

Roswell was not having good time moment this boy entered his mansion first the hat that even now sends shivers down his spine then Beatrice running off with him and taking forbidden library with her and now after everything he did in all of his life all off his achievements all of his wealth and power got reduced to a simple Inn how stupid is that Roswell could not help but sit back in his chair and start laughing with few tears in his eyes

"Hahahahahha oh then mister Subaru you have your self a deal you will be granted permanent residence in any and all homes in all of my mansions your are free to come and go as you please for this is my promise to you" answered Roswell with some hope perhaps doll is sufficiently good to keep this boy here if not he will leave never to return and with him his goal will disappear

"Now after this is finally over i don't know about you people but i am starving so Itatakimasu " as Subaru said this Beatrice followed suit perfectly imitating him both clapped their hands and started eating

" Yes we should begin this feast it's joyful occasion after all" as Roswell said everyone but maids started their meals

For the maids where having mixed reactions on was growing disgust with small degree of respect other was having murderous intentions with small amount of admiration growing inside her but none of maids did anything for it's there's duty as maids to be professional otherwise they risk bringing shame to the lord

After the meal was done Subaru and Emilia went to explore the mansion upon Roswells suggestion Beatrice and puck went to forbidden library for puck was still not out off his depressed state and maids returned to their work but they where ever vigilant towards Subaru

As for Subaru he was simply enjoying him self after all he can spend some time with Emilia he takes that as bonus even if it's part of clowns plan that he pretends to play along for now

And so about 5 days passed Subaru managed to do few things in his time befriend maids at least on surface level as ram was keeping her sister at bay per Roswells command deepen his relationship with emilia by getting puck out off his depressed state and puck begin to seriously train Emilia in art of combat but the crowning discovery was a trick with forbidden library on how to move it outside the mansion

"I still cannot fathom how did you come up with something so stupid to a problems that are so complex i suppose" said irritated Beatrice finding another application for her library

"Well the way your library works it that it connects to any closed door in mansion yes " said Subaru as if he is making the point

"That's true i suppose " said irritated loli

"and the size of door is irrelevant as long as it counts as door it works" said Subaru with a smug looking smile only to earn even more irritated gaze from loli

"So if we let's say make door at size of pendant and connect library to it then we pick up said pendant and move it to different location" answered Subaru with a finger in air as if he is teaching a child

"And because your last door is close to new door you want to connect you have no different mana cost then normal as library don't need to move far from point A to point B" said Subaru with a smile

"But still im NOT CALLING this pendant POCKET LOLI In fact" answered Beatrice with a bit of a shout and a massive humf

"Ok ok how about The Eye of soros " said Subaru as he was giggling to him self

After this fast exchange between duo they made their way into mansion and as Subaru predicted blue maid appear almost immediately behind them but before she could even whisper a word or make a sound Subaru said "Oh hey there rem me and beako planning to go take a look at nearby villagers and we need some guide " said Subaru as he turned towards rem before she could even react to Subaru knowing she is there

This was not a first time Subaru managed to detect rem for he developed a good sense of detecting presence from one off his alternative presents

This keep rem at bay for a most part as well as orders from her sister and her lord but that doesn't stop her from looking for openings because for her moment this witch cultists drops his guard or shows any habits she will know how to exploit them so she can take care off him all she needs to do now is buying her time

"rem and my sister were planning to go for a shopping trip to nearby village in afternoon we can take you then" responded rem in professional manner

Subaru simply nodded took Beatrice and went on his way towards random door to enter the library

"It's hard i suppose" said Beatrice with understanding looking at her contractor

"Yes it is but i had worse" responded Subaru with somewhat somber expression

"Hopefully after today we this crap can be put to rest or at least improve a little" responded Subaru with serious expression

"And i already made agreement with tella for second part off the plan and she wanted her walk today" responded Subaru with serious determination

"Will it be alright i suppose " asked worried little loli

"I don't know but all i can do is try my best and relay on my family to keep me from failing " as he said this he given small kiss to Beatrices forehead something that made little loli instantly blush but she accepted it anyhow

As sometime passed the pair find them self by the front door only to be greeted by Emilia to was asking "hey Subaru Beatrice are you leaving" asked worried half-elf

"Not for long we decided to visit the village and well i wanted beako to interact with some children as well as to see how people are there if i find them ok i take you there later" said Subaru with reassuring smile

"Oh okey do take care Subaru " said Emilia with something like relief in her voice

She then proceeded to give spirits blessing for safe journey as she did so maids show up and take them to the village

As maids where doing their shopping Subaru and Beatrice were entertaining the village children at one point he started to show them his cardio gymnastic and soon adults of village joined young or old it was irrelevant soon all village joined in after it was done a small little girl asked Subaru is he part of the mansion and Subaru said "no im just a passer by there for few days" responded Subaru with a cheerful smile towards the child and to this she nodded and rushed off towards maids to ask them to play with her dog she was carrying

Ram straight up refused earning child to start tearing up threatening to burst into full blown cry to this rem proceeded to play a little with the child and as result the dog bit rem as ram was about cut down this dog rem stopped saying it's her fault and maids returned to Subaru to be greeted by entire village worth of people chatting with Subaru and few other children come over to maids making fun off them only to earn rams rage speech toward them and so village visit come to the end Subaru and the gang where returning back to the mansion somewhere halfway back up Subaru decided to speak up

"Hey rem ram how was the village visit find anything you like?" asked Subaru in his cheerful tone only to be dismissed by maids

"It same as always guest-sama" said rem in professional manner

"Its same as always free loader hem... guest-sama" responded ram as if she is spitting curse out

"Ohh is this really how you should treat your guests ram maybe i should extend same treatment to you and your sister but your sister probably be dead by tomorrow morning if i did so" said Subaru with i don't give f type look identical to ram picked up Beatrice placed her on his shoulders and turn around walking back towards village

On to be stopped by angry red demon behind him "STOP" she shouted "Barusu i swear if you-" as ram was spitting Subarus name like curse at some time tried to threaten and intimidate him Subaru simply put on his hat and turned half way towards looking at her with a single eye but in that eye there were look of Pure wrath that was enough to shut ram up in her tracks

"And you Do what kill me?" said Subaru looking at ram as if she's like bug ready to be trampled "you will not be the first and you will not be the last who tried" as Subaru said this her moved back to face them both with a folded hands with a look of pride in his eyes

"So tell me Maid what will YOU do exactly" said Subaru with a stone cold expression.

Faced with a sheer will and intimidation emanating from Subaru ram was lost for words as this goofball of a boy was no more before her stood a harden warrior of many battles

Rem was about to jump in to kill this thing for insult towards her sister but Stopped herself moment she noticed the black tendrils were beginning to form around Subaru and Beatrice emanating from the hat and after she seen her lord to be reduced to that sorry state she knew she can't win gritting her teeth she lowered her weapon and black tendrils also disappeared

"Hiding behind that hat FACE ME LIKE MAN you coward"

Shouted rem with a Blood lust in her eyes

And Subaru simply tilts his head saying " why should i ?"

"Because you want to harm us like you and all your cultists allies" shouted rem in pure rage almost losing her mind to her oni powers as the horn off hers was beginning to form but Subaru stood firm

"The only person here right now that works for witch cult is you rem not me" answered Subaru with neutral expression lifting his eyebrow

Faced with such revelation rem's mind granted to a halt was he joking was he lie what's is the meaning of this she doesn't work for cult she kills cultists and before rem could say anything Subaru elaborated

"You are sleeper agent of the witches cult rem your purpose is to ensure no information about cult to be leaked outside of it" Subaru said as it's the most obvious thing in the world

"What's prof do you have to claim such things" asked ram with a boiling rage about to snap at any moment

As the maids begin to remember all interactions they had with the boy from the very first moments he first appeared in the mansion how they were trying to steal his belongings how he was simply happy to spend some time with half-elf how he was interacting with Beatrice as if they are siblings and how actually they treated him upon this realization rem collapsed to the ground as if dolls strings got cut off holding her hand to her mouth whispering to her self "i haven't changed at all" as rem was having her breakdown Rams pride would not allow her to sister to be brought down like this and needed someone to blame so she started to blame the boy

"Look at what you done you bring my sister to her tears it's a cri- " as Ram was unleashing her fury in a form of a blaming the boy Subaru simply and casually stated

"Your sister is cursed and will die by end of today and only person that can save her is sitting on my shoulders do you really want to be running off on you prideful tantrum and kill you sister? " as Subaru said this he simply tilted his head

Ram's endless rage and fury got put out almost as if you put out burning small stick with your fingers Subaru could not help but make "pssssss" sound with his mouth as if fire got put out using water for that's how the ram was looking right now

"Now i already wasted too much time on you to can you run off and die or do you have something to say" said Subaru with lifted eye bow

Ram hearing this folded her legs got on her knees and putted her head to the ground in the most respectable way possible she know how and said " can you kindly save my sister Subaru-sama" and Subaru chuckle "you asking wrong person here ask one on my shoulders" as Subaru said with devilish smile

"I never said im stopping her from curing your sister however there's priority of ensuring i am safe from you first" said Subaru as the most obvious thing

Ram upon realising that every up to this point was there own doing and her sister be not in harms way if only she wasn't so stubborn and simply asked nicely and yet her pride got in the way as result Ram felt like broken cup could only look at Beatrice who was looking at her with pitying eyes

"Yes i can i suppose but you must make promises to never accuse my contractor for your own faults In fact" said Beatrice with smug expression

Then Subaru placed Beatrice on the ground and she promptly dispelled the curse only to be picked up by Subaru again and back on his shoulders Subaru turned around and began to walk only to be asked by ram where he is going

And Subaru responded "if you can't figure it out yet after you seen everything then that's your problem not mine" and Subaru walked back towards village

Ram wanted to chaise down the boy for more information but her sister condition is more important as she was still on the ground muttering to her self

So ram got her sister and went back to mansion upon entering the mansion she was met by Roswell " your later then usual and why is your sister like that" responded Roswell pretending to be kind

"My sister got cursed in village but lady Beatrice already taken care off it" answered ram only to be met with Roswell narrow eyes as he looked at twins

"Tell me where was that curse" said Roswell with suspicion

"It was on the had right here" answered ram

"Who touched her there?" said Roswell

Ram visibly confused answered "i don't know lord Roswell" answered ram with her head low

Roswell then started shaking rem out off her disabled state but to no avail he then point to rem and said to ram

"Can you get your sister to start making sense" asked Roswell with a visible irritation in his voice as this is something his book didn't predicted

Seeing her lord this irritated ram was not making any comments and simply nodded her head trying to shake her sister out off the state she is in but again nothing eventually ram slapped rem across the face to get her to focus

"Rem rem can you hear me " said ram with few tears in her eyes "sissy why are" but rem was interrupted as ram simple hugged rem but it didn't last long as ram looked her sister in the eyes and said "who touch you on your arm here" pointing at spot where curse once was

"No one did sissy only dog bit me there" answered rem as Roswell heard this he immediately asked "where was that dog and with whom" Roswell said with narrow eyes

"child was holding it why?" asked rem as ram remembered the incident as well and began to widen her eyes "that dog is witch beast and you got cursed by it but it seem Beatrice already took care of it where is that boy anyway?" asked Roswell with a tilted head "he went back to the village " answered ram

Roswell was thinking for a moment and asked "did he say anything before he left" with a finger on his chin

Ram responded "if you can't figure out yet after seeing everything then that's your problem not mine" Roswell widens his eyes

"Ram i believe there's attack going on the village and he went in there to help" said Roswell only to be heard by rem "the children are in danger and I'm almost No not again " As rem says this she stands up and charged out off mansion towards village ignoring Roswell or even her sisters voices as she was too focused right now

Subaru running down the village seen commotion beginning to start run up to first villager ask asked what's going on and villager starting to get seriously worried tell him the kids are missing Subaru nodded and said to villager to follow him as the run out to edge off village there was foot prints of kids leading to forest Subaru promptly told villager to summon all adult there as he jumped over fence and run off into a forest with Beatrice still on his shoulders

Ask he was running down the forest he was whispering to Beatrice "so far so good if i know anything about rem she should be rushing here anytime now in case she still hostile i will keep her at bay you look after kids " as Subaru said so he finally find the kids

Beatrice simply responded "understood i suppose" and Beatrice went to work on healing children but curse was already active "curse is already active only way now to break it is hunt down the witch beast i can only now slow down the effects in fact" said Beatrice as she looked at one children who was Petra that made Beatrice even more focused to the task at hand even if she never admitted Petra is her friend.

And as Beatrice was doing her thing just like Subaru predicted rem shows up and upon seeing situation rem ask what she can do to help

"What can help now is to ensure kids are back to safety so help bring them back to village" as Subaru said this Petra said there's one more and Subaru responded to not worry he get her

"I go find the last missing child you two get children back to village and after you finish let Beatrice to look after children and rem find me Understood" said Subaru as if he is commanding military personnel

"Understood i suppose " Beatrice nodded her head and rem followed suit

Just as Subaru was about to run off how ever rem interrupt asking " why are you doing this" and Subaru responded "i already wasted too much time on your BS if you can't figure out why a man runs off to danger to save some kids then you are beyond saving " said Subaru as he run into a forest leave stunned rem behind

As Subaru was running inside forest he was muttering to him self " i honestly forgot how much pain in the ass she can be and no wander that she was responsible for birth of my scared self" as Subaru keep running deeper into a forest he come out in clearing seeing child laying on the ground Subaru instantly recognized the kid

As he was now slowly walking towards the kid Subaru pulled out his weapon from inside room a jagged interconnected blade looking thing as he slowly and methodically approach the child stood up above her and said "you can stop pretending meiling" at this child immediately made back flip and jumped on near by log

" how do you know it was me onii_chan " said meiling with a tilted head only for Subaru to shrug his shoulders "when you have a child that is new inside village coming to ask if your from mansion and then ignore you when responded as no only for same child to run off to look for people from mansion get them play with a dog and get cursed is a dead give away you know" Subaru was saying it pointing out things 1 by 1 and counting on his fingers only for meiling to ask another question

" then how do you know my name" asked the girl and Subaru responded "because i am probably the only person who know you as closely as i do even yourself don't know yourself as much as i know about you meiling " responded Subaru looking at the little girl like father

"If you know me so well as you said then you know what i do next right onii_chan " said meiling imitating elsa

Subaru took a deep breath and exhale " yes i know send them dogs in and make run for it" Subaru responded as matter of a fact only for meiling to widen her eyes because she already prepared just that

"Then let's begin onii_chan " as meiling jumped back wards few witch beast appeared from behind her and Subaru was immediately surround by them

Subaru now standing in the middle of witch beast surrounded on all sides he tapped his hat and said " let's have a small game if i win you coming with me if i lose i die deal" said Subaru as he looked at the girl with a smirk on his face only for meiling to be unnerved by how calm the boy is something that made her remember her first meeting with elsa at this meiling turn around and started running sending in all beast on Subaru

Subaru on another hand begin to spin around in spot lifting his jagged interconnected blade above his head and there's was click sound and at that the blade extend unveiling its true form for its not blade its in fact a Whip with sharp metal looking edges along it's cord but the real nasty part about this whip blade is that every single metal part on it can spin at the rapid rate making it into lethal unpredictable medium to long range 360 degree weapon that can switch between offensive and defensive at the blink of the eye in addition to it's utility just like normal whip

As result first few unlucky witch beast that got into Subaru whip range where shredded to pieces almost instantly for the blade whip is now spinning above Subaru's head as witch beasts took a moment to look for a opening on how to get to this pray Subaru apply spell know as murack on him self to reduce his weight to 0 and simply jumped he then used his spinning whip to attach it self at the nearest tree and pull then at another tree and repeat and just like that Subaru was moving from tree to tree at the rapid rate never reaching the ground making jokes along the way

" Call me isekai spiderman now" says Subaru with a smirk and a shake of his head realises on how absurd his life had become "but then again i will not trade it for anything " as Subaru said it he was skipping past trees looking doe meiling as he didn't looked long for she was running away as fast as she can summoning beast after beast to her side but Subaru was not chasing meiling for he was way faster then she is on the ground Subaru was actually guiding her to run towards village all the time making sure meiling knows he is not far behind by making noise or occasional comment on how children should be sleeping at night and not running in the middle of woods for there are scary wolf's out there.

But as meiling became even more desperate on getting away from Subaru she started to lose track of her surroundings as result she run right into bushes trying to loose her pursuer but only to realise that behind them bushes there was a steep cliff and she now is failing to her death but Subaru will not have that for he caught meiling mid air then use his whip to attach it self to random tree using momentum to propel himself and meiling into air above tree line and towards the village

" Well that's a nice warm up for the evening if i say so my self " said Subaru as he was now gently gliding through air upon seeing how height she actually is meiling understand now running is no longer an option for her and fighting is not an option for she can't fight by herself and if she try to get away she fall to her death she is now trapped in this boys hands no way out as result she given up hoping she get a chance to run away

"So you captured me then he-h looks like i failed " said meiling as she lowered her head only to receive head pat from Subaru

"Don't worry meiling for i might have a job for you soon" said Subaru only to earn puzzling look for the girl

"I soon be going to a certain place and i will need your help your payment will be your freedom but before that i need to have small chat with your sister elsa" said Subaru as he was patting head off the child who was now tearing up but she chose to stay quiet for she might still escape her mother's punishment hopefully

"But all that is for later time" said Subaru as he now made his body to turn now he looked as if he is sleeping on air gently floating towards the village surrounded by countless witch beast and the forest behind his back and in his front there was a big beautiful night moon covered in see of stars he placed meiling on his chest in a way that she too can enjoy the night sky

"What a beautiful night sky we have tonight makes me remember when i was your age and my parents used to take me out star gazing" said Subaru as he was petting meiling and she too for some unexplained reason find the night sky beautiful but she can't let herself get distracted she must look for a way out

"I remember my mother used to sing this lullaby for me back then and i feel it's just the occasion to sing one for you too" said Subaru gently holding meiling in a warm soft voice

"Twinkle twinkle little star, how i wander what you are" as Subaru's soft warm voice begin to sing meiling could feel her fear begin to slowly be eaten away

As Subaru was continuing on with his song he pulled out Elsa's cloak from inside the room that he stored it in days before and wrapped little girl in it faced with a familiar smell of her one-chan and the warm sensation Subaru's embrace was providing to top it off with a song that's eating away at her fear meiling soon find herself experiencing something for first time in her life a sensation she now knows as feeling safe and as result she slowly drifted off to sleep just before song ended

Subaru seeing that meiling is now asleep looked towards village that was getting in sight and noticed rem running towards him he then partially deactivated murack and glide closer to the ground and closer to rem as he finally made touch down he given meiling sleeping body to rem before she could even utter a single word and as he did so he whispered to her " make sure she gets to Beatrice she will know what to do next" and before rem could even react let alone respond Subaru already reactivate his murack fling his whip to nearly tree and made getaway from rem with a haste

And just as Subaru left all manner of witch beast followed him ignoring everything around them even if rem was right in the middle of a horde they just ignored her because for a beasts unless they are attacked they will always follow witch stench ignoring everything around them something Subaru is well aware off and as fast as witches beast come they where gone just as fast before rem could even understand what's going on.

as she got over her dazed state she remembered child in her hands and turned back to the village.

Subaru now flying just above tree line observes surrounding seeing the good portion of beast are getting under him and said

" well then dogs how about i take you all for a walk" as Subaru said this with his devious smile looking at the beasts he felt something inside start to swirl in joy

"WHEN ALL HOPE IS LOST" said Subaru slowly taking off his hat and placing it on his hart

"UNDUE THIS LOCK" as he said those words the Entire forest witch beasts and normal animals frozen in place for a moment sensing something is coming

"AND LET US GO" At this point all witch beasts in the forest and around the forest where all running towards one point at same time every normal animal where running desperately away from that location

"FOR A MOONLIGHT WALK" and now a sense of dreaded spread across maids and Roswell for something dangerous and evil had been unleashed upon the world

Roswell immediately began gathering mana storing it inside his body reading him self for a battle of his survival maids where simple too shocked to do anything even puck come out mid night as for emilia she was happily a sleep

And at Subaru's location there was a shadow that could cast a shadow on darkness it self in all it's glory and dreadful might and Subaru simply put a hat on it

"Yep i knew you look better with a hat on" said Subaru nodding to him self only to be met with eyes of amethyst colour that where sparkling in excitement

"Keyaaaaaaaaa that was soooooooo cool you flying around treeee tops then then singing that lullaby kyaaaaaaa" said a shadow running circles around Subaru with start in her eyes and hart shaped mouth holding her own cheeks

Subaru extend his had to the shadow and said " well then eva let's go for a bit off a walk " eva then immediately stopped what she was doing and crashed into Subaru hugging living daylights out off Subaru all the while nodding rapidly

"Eva eva grip grip you kill me before we even begin " said Subaru who was struggling to breathe eva reluctantly loosened her grip but never did let go off Subaru but instead wrapped herself around him trying to touch as much of Subaru as possible

Subaru seeing situation he ended up in Again simply sighted and gently landed on the ground as he did he briefly noticed few witch beast body remains before they got swallowed by shadow never to be seen again as good chuck of the forest was covered by shadow but as his permission to kill was given to witch beast and ONLY witch beasts nothing other in a forest was harmed in any way shape or form

So now Subaru was using this shadow to his advantage for he can control it to small extent but only when tella or eva allow it and as eva currently having time off her life molesting everything that is Subaru he was however using this shadow to construct shapes of people shapes of instruments and shapes of a stage making sure that everything is in order for his next step

And after he was done and before eva got into his pants Again he did what he knows works best to make eva a little more perceptible to her surroundings He given eva a deep kiss one that frozen the girls mind and emotions because at this moment eva was in pure bliss but as all good things start they also come to the end as Subaru finally let himself go from kiss he seen dazed girl in front of him he then snapped his fingers that got girl out off her daze and music started at same time

"Care to dance my lady" said Subaru inviting eva as she was taking in everything around her only for her excitement to build up again for they where now surround by shadow puppets playing classical music using classical instruments such as violins piano etc. As well as eva and Subaru where in the middle of the stage surrounded by forest under full moon light and many stars in the middle of the night

Eva gracefully really "yes my beloved" with a ceremonial greetings exchanged by two they begin to dance into a moonlight this went on for about two songs or about 10 minutes for Eva's body begin to crackle and collapses on it self taking all the shadow with her for her body was made of nothing but mana and no mana only body can support the power of the witch

"She looked happy if i say so my self" said Subaru only to be greeted by familiar voice " i say she was soo happy she passed out" responded feminine voice " you know tella that's new meaning to the dance off" responded Subaru now looking at tellas ghosts shadow form that is somewhat transparent

"You know the stuff you pulled this time makes me a tad jealous of her" said tella with a smirk

"well i do have something in mind for you as well " said Subaru with a wink only to earn blush and naughty look from tella "pervert" and Subaru responded with a shrug

"Say tella how come i can see you i don't think after letting you lose like that i be able to talk to you like that" said Subaru with a question

"I am not entirely sure but i think it's due your body's stupid ability to adapt " said tella thinking

"My body's ability to adapt " answered Subaru with a question mark over his head

"Every person that ever comes from your world have innate ability to adapt to almost anything that's including miasma" responded tella like teacher

"For example first time you met the slot archbishop you weren't able to see his hands but after some time you seen them perfectly" answered tella as if making the point

"Go on" said Subaru

"The cursed dragons blood in your body is same thing as well as witch factors it's your innate ability everyone have from beyond the waterfall " said tella with bit sad and somewhat prideful look

"But don't witch cult members acclimate to miasma as well?" asked Subaru

" They do yes but they take years and many of them simply go insane but people from what you call earth take only weeks if not days" responded tella with a warm smile on her face looking at Subaru

"So then every time back then i said you know what that meant my body was simply getting more used to your miasma as result i started seeing you back then more clearly " said Subaru as he was finally getting a point

"That's true as well but there's more to it much much more and majority of that is due to your ability to adapt" said tella with a bitter memory of times Subaru used to say RBD

"So that means i will see you all the time now ?" said Subaru to tella but she shaken her head

"No my current state is in fact your ability to adapt but that's not all it's due to massive miasma that still lingers on your body but your body is able to expel it overtime it's don't stick for long even if you have witch factors that are responsible for it" answered tella with her head lowered

"That's your body adaptation as well ability to get rid off what one can call toxins and to your body miasma is toxin" responded tella with sad smile

"As result i can't stay like this for long but i can still assist you in your stage 2 plan you will not need to say them words to trigger it this time" responded sattela with somewhat bittersweet smile

"Yea who that's i never thought that my envy authority was actually this stupidly broken but as down side i must remain weak what a joke" said Subaru as he contemplating things and shaking his head

"your envy authority is indeed time manipulation in case worst come to worst it can even send you back in time to whenever your self set up to do something and your check points as you called it was directly controlled not by me but by your situation at hand as long as you have way out or finished what you set up to do your authority will update but if you don't have way out or as you call it dead end check point will not change" responded satella biting her lips

"But this time manipulation ONLY applies to your mind not body or you can say your soul how ever under certain conditions you can apply it to your body as well" responded sattela with nostalgic smile

"Remember your first successful loop back in loot house when elsa come out from rubble after rainhards attack" said sattela as remembering something joyful

"Yes i do but what's-" Subaru got intercepted by her

"She was moving at her maximum speed that is speed of sound or as you call it mac 1 you do honestly think without something like ability to slow down time for your self you be able to react " said tella giggling to her self

"That's basically saying you see flying bullets from those shows you showed me" said tella with with now happy smile remembering her time with her beloved whenever they watched his stuff from internet

"You where using your active part of your authority of envy to see react make decisions and even try to block her when she was moving at mac 1" said tella as if it's something obvious

"Yea i suppose you right but back then i writing it off as adrenaline" said Subaru shaking his head

"But only way to put your mind and body in this state is well" tella said as she looked away

" first If there's no way im willing to die second there's clear danger to one i am putting my life to defend and third part if my abilities are insufficient " said Subaru as he was counting on his fingers

" That means if i am weakest of every one i am practically strongest then every one what a sad joke" said Subaru as he looked down

"This is nature of your envy my beloved to be as strong as those heroes you admire" said tella as she giggle

"But i can trigger some parts of your envy witch factor to a point eva used to do just that to keep you quiet about you know what" said tella as she had sad smile on her face

"After all it was a condition given to you not to share knowledge of your gift" said tella as she looked at Subaru

"Any other knowledge you gain as result of the gift is irrelevant" said tella as she looked to her feet in sadness

"For your envy authority was never intended to be like it is now at least not by me" said tella with tears in her eyes

"Hehe even though we did talked about it before to some extent but it still makes me wander how come i end up with this" said Subaru

"your will not to give up even when faced certain death triggered envy witch factor so you end up with what you have i never known what will my gift will bring you" said sattela as if asking for forgiveness

"That's not your fault tella and you know it" Subaru said as he looked at the girl

"But i could done more or tried to help more but i only found out in what state you actually are back in sanctuary" said tella as she begins to whimper and Subaru tried to give her a hug but he simply pass right through her as if she's not even there

"dam it" said Subaru as he was unable to wipe tears away only to remember that there might be away so he summoned his sloth authority and there you go he can actually touch her so he wiped her tears off and given her pat on the back

This earned look of surprise from tella then look of understanding followed by loving smile

" Only you will use the evil power of witch of deadly sin just to wipe some tears you make me fall for you all over again Subaru " said sattela as she was having girl in deep love look on her face

Only to ern a shrug from Subaru saying " what's a point to have those thing's if they can't even be used for something as simple as this" responded as it's just a matter of the fact

This how ever earned naughty look from sattela who was saying " i am soooo not letting you sleep alone tonight " as she was licking her lips

Subaru looked at her with his own smile " have you ever" shaking his head

Sattela only shrugged " can't have your nightmares return now can i what sort of Imaginary girlfriend will that make me be" said sattela with her own mischievous smile

"You still on about that really" said Subaru half panicked only to ern a giggle from tella

"As much as i would love to spend few more seconds walking with my beloved under starry sky like this" said tell with longing in her eyes

"Your little spider is nearby so let's star with your stage 2 off the plan" said tella with somewhat of a discomfort in her voice

Subaru looked at her and said " you do know i would want to stay as far away from her as i can right " said Subaru looking somewhat shocked

Only to ern exhausted sight and a bit of resignation " as much as i would love nothing more but knowing you " she looked at Subaru with melancholy in her eyes

"You have a way of seducing women with some screws missing in their heads witches or not it's inevitable" said tella as she looked to the side

" And what that supposed to mean" Subaru said with hands folded " if anyone have some serious problem you can't help but want to save them if they are men they develop admiration and friendship with you if they are a woman how ever they try too get in your pants" said tella as she looked at Subaru with nostalgic and loving eyes

" i am no exception to this" as she said this she pointed to certain direction and vanished

Subaru looked to direction to see cautiously creeping elsa but she yet to notice Subaru " i am not planning to have her in my pants and she wants to gut me remember" said Subaru to him self only to sight and prepare for the plan.

Elsa after finishing her assignment was travelling towards a certain forest to pick up her little sister or something similar to it for she herself can't understand why she soo attracted to the girl as elsa was making her way to her destination she felt danger absolute overwhelming and overpowering dread that made even some one like her want to run into opposite direction but she needs to know what happened so she can report to her mother and see what happened to meiling as result she begin to make her way towards the area with caution slowly and methodically ensuring to be as stealthy as she can be but still make good progress towards her goal

But then suddenly all colours and sounds around her vanished she tried to look around herself but her body was not responding in fact everything around her had stopped as if frozen in time at this there was wary sensation creeping her back but nothing she can't handle

As elsa was beginning to adjust her self to this condition she find herself in she then heard a noise a singular noise and only noise that existed around her it was a noise of footprints slowly approaching her from her side but she can't turn her head to take a look and she cant speak as well so she waited and waited

As footprints were slowly coming closer and closer they soon where right next to her but instead of anything them footprints simply walked behind her she could now feel presence slowly observing her from ever direction but her front and the presence stood right in front of her then that presence slowly touch her chin and lifted her face up to see the presence face to face

And upon seeing the face of this presence Elsa's eye's opened wide for it was a boy from the loot house that made fool out of her he opened his mouth and spoken

" hello there Elsa's it seems you and i meet sooner then you expected " said Subaru with a look of indifference

Elsa wanted to shout wanted to scream wanted to gut this boy sooo bad yet her body do not move as nothing but the boy moves

" Now i understand that you want to gut me take swim inside my intestinal parts and perhaps take bath using my blood instead of the water or perhaps all those at once" said Subaru still with indifference in his look

Something elsa found alluring for some reason

"But i must ask you to put this idea to a halt for i have job for you one that will be much much more rewarding for you then simply gutting me" as Subaru said this he placed his finger on Elsa's forehead and cast custom made nect spell that enables one to share thoughts like telepathy but one must be connected to another via touch

(Authors notes: ok i made up this spell but theres telepathy divine protections theres sharing sense spells why cant there be spell to do just this)

As Subaru did so his voice was now sounding inside Elsa's head and what Subaru found there was " a job you say more pleasant then killing you" yes as it's a job that will be taking down the black dragon or as you call her your mother the witch cultists sin archbishop of lust cappella emeralda lagunica so what's do you say" as Subaru was saying something so enticing to elsa Subaru felt aroused due to the link he shared with elsa at this point but he pushed down the sensation

" That's is indeed a worthwhile job but how do i know you will have what it takes to finish the job i can't kill her " was thoughts inside Elsa's mind

"I am currently preparing your mother some surprises how ever i need time about let's say 2 weeks to a month your job is simple get your mother to show up here at the time my preparations are done that's all i do the rest and if you do actually complete the job perfectly i might even let you see how your beloved mother meets it's end and trust me it will not be pretty" said Subaru but this time he had a devil's eye with a murderer's smile on his face something else found really enticing

"Do you accept?" Asked Subaru

"I do" responded elsa instantly

"Good now go back and report that meiling job met failure as the witch beast area was bombarded by Massive spells all probably from Roswell L matters all witch beasts had been killed meiling condition unknown presumably dead as there's too many scattered corpses around and metia used to tack here was found in the large pile off bloody mess" said subaru he dropped the metia on the ground that was damaged beyond recognition

He then let go of Elsa's head and walked off behind some tree and the world resumed it's time flow like normal elsa immediately went to look at the spot she last heard boys foot prints but only be met with nothing there was no boy no sound of him leaving no footprints nothing else walked back to dropped metia picked it up and went back to report to her mother as instructed

"Was it really necessary to use something like this for the conversation i suppose" asked Beatrice looking at Subaru who was currently inside her library on the ground hipper ventilating grasping for air as much as it hurt Beatrice to see Subaru in this state she knew she can't do nothing to help her contractor for his body is ok it's his soul that's damaged from this

"Ehhh... ehhh yea... i be ... fine...and ... yea... it's " as Subaru was struggling to speak Beatrice closed his mouth with her hand cast murack and put him to bed

" Don't talk we talk later now you rest i deal with the girl as we discussed and don't worry everything is fine everyone is alive and i already informed that you are resting here you can sleep now and let that girl put you back together in fact " said Beatrice with a bit pain in her eyes but is stronger now then she was

" thanks... beko...love you" said Subaru as he finally pass out

Now Subaru was laying inside the room on his bed with blood from his hart leaking only to be stopped by tellas hands as it started to slowly put itself together

" Was it really necessary to use that ability for this long you know you can only keep it up for few seconds not minutes without damaging something " said sattela with worried and somewhat scolding tone

"Unfortunately this is the only way i know how that i can talk to elsa without alerting her mother or clown dressed freak and his bullshit right now is something i simply have no time to deal with so i need to stay under the radar as much as possible " said Subaru as he was beginning to recover

Sattela looked at Subaru as he lost his mind "did you forget the walk already? Do you think that will not attract attention " said sattela looking at Subaru like his an fool

Subaru raised his finger and said " Roswell already checked my gate moment i entered the mansion to see how strong i am and it's nothing special" he then raised second finger "Roswell knows about the hat and how powerful it can be from emilia and experiencing it him self " he then raised his third finger " Roswell don't know form where or how i got this hat but knows it's attached to me" he then raised his forth finger "Roswell knows i have a lot off experience as trader" he then raised his fifth finger " Roswell think i simply went for a walk with Beatrice to scout out village in order to fulfil my promise to emilia about getting her along with villagers " as Subaru said all 5 points he looked as sattela

"This version Roswell don't know about loop ability for i made sure of that" he said looking straight into her eyes making her blush

"So tell me tella how Roswell see me now?" he asked with a smirk on his face

Sattela think for a moment and made ohhhh sound "he thinks you got the hat from some trade deal somewhere and simply got unlucky for activating hat bit too much like you did before" answered tella with a smirk

" And to top it all off i made absolutely sure to give him as little information to about me as possible the only lose end be Beatrice situation but she too put up some good work in fooling the clown " said Subaru as he was giggling right now

So what's next "asked sattela " looking at her beloved

"Not much i only want to return kindness the so called lady fate given me but this time it will be me fucking with her" answered Subaru with determination and devils smile

So she can observe and gain knowledge from it and Roswell to act as form off carrier as she observes Roswell and Beatrice using them books it's not stated in cannon but based on her character and off hand cements by other characters it makes sense on a lot off things of how actually she knows so much about your boy Subaru and how she knows about return by death

Rem being witch cult sleeper agent

Based on sloth if the oni who attacked Subaru in kararagy before her death she recalled events in regards to cults attack on her village and how she suddenly gained ability to smell miasma the one who given that ability her speech pattern are identical to lust archbishop

As for why to prevent information leaks on cult as oni race is strong stubborn and prideful makes them perfect sleeper agents in eyes of cappella after it's impossible to stop information leaking if there's more then one person talking about it stated by Vincent arc 7

Roswell not knowing about with beasts attack (arc 2) was confirmed by him at the end of arc 4 post knight ceremony (web novel)

Roswell deduction on return by death to a point (looping) was in fact arc 1 elsa reports about Subaru odd speech that trigger him to observe closely how he acts eventually taking to air to observe him (successful loop in arc 2)

Subaru crushing rams superiority complex due to Subaru information from all ifs it's logical conclusion on what he would do in this scenario as Subaru want rem safe and happy yet she can never be like that as long as ram is well worthless in everything (look how she works as maid) as result her already low self esteem is even lowered due to the burden that ram is and her superiority complex make it so ram remains stagnant so crush her superiority complex force ram improve and rem be happier as result at least thats what i think Subaru would do (even if he must act like total dick)

And that's all i can think off as well some questions if my Subaru, sattela conversation didn't explain well about Subaru return by death and how it works i challenge all of you to find me 1 instance where sattela freezes time whenever she is outside Subaru or how come sattelas speciality is separation and yet control time as well?

And in regards to Subaru binding stuff using satellas mana well thats what he normally do with people why not with mana as well

And last in regards to naughty relationship between Subaru and sattela well put them in room for longer then a month and they will be fucking one another that's simple fact nothing can be done about it.
