A story about a little less "noble and selfless" Subaru. The story starts in arc 6 (so minor spoilers) but will have Subaru sent back in time after receiving many buffs and If memories through contracts with Satella and Volcanica. This is no crackfic even if it sounds like one and I try my best to stay lore-friendly.

7. Chapter 7

English is not my Primary language so expect typos and odd way of saying words you know the drill

Chapter 7: Out for a walk.

As sanctuary incident is now concluded and Subaru got to new Roswell mansion due to old one being out of commission, he soon found that everyone was relocated to their own respective places there was only matter what to do with Reuzu clones even though Subaru had idea what to do with then he could not help but do one thing before he gives them new purpose

Subaru now inside the mansion lifted his arm in the air and snapped his fingers summoning all reuzu clones he then pointed his Finger towards Emilia.

"Hold her hand so she doesn't get lonely" Subaru had Evil grin on his face as he seen army of lolis literally tackling Emilia down to the ground as she was terrified due to large numbers of them more then 30 in fact

Subaru then pointed toward main reuzu's and told them to ignore last order who they nodded and sat down next to table drinking tea

"SUBARU STOP THAT" Emilia from beneath mountain of lolis scream as she desperately tries to get away from them but lolis are persistent to hold her hand with wide open eyes as they stare at Emilia

"We need to better understand how to control them so accidents don't happen if we don't know we will end up missing one because of bad command" Subaru shrugged as he was loving this to bit's too much oh… how much he missed that sight

And as Emilia desperately try to swim out from sea of lolis she had pleadings puppy eyes that pierced Subaru's hart and he sighted and command them all to sit down.

"It's nice to see you learning to control us so well lil-suba" reuzu drinking her tea responded as she was too enjoying sight of Emilia being drowned in lolis

As Emilia fidgeting and looking at each and everyone with nerves look on her eyes Subaru was sitting by the table enjoying his tea as well

As he sighted "well as much as i enjoy burying Emilia with lolis we do need to get them new homes considering their condition it will be tricky manner" Subaru shrugged

And Emilia looked back to him as she with nervous eyes muttered "Condition?"

"They can't act by themselves at all you need to keep close eye on them otherwise they all just wander off and die" reuzu shima responded as she walked to one off them and placed her hand on it's forehead as she was petting her.

"That's… um..." Emilia not sure how to respond as she had sad look in her eyes

"I do have few ideas that might or might not work let's see we can leave them as form off training scattered around everywhere in each village that is in matters domain all we need is find some one to look after it and at same time it can work as early warning signals that village is in trouble because of how they all share what they see" Subaru shrugged as he was contemplating of doing same thing again

"That we can do but don't you need some staff for your fort ?" reuzu asked as she was looking at Subaru with unreadable expression

"I personally prefer not have any one off you nearby that place as it's currently house 7 witches of the deadly sins among other things" Subaru shrugged as he sighted

Emilia and reuzu looked towards Subaru with bit of concern as they in unison responded "is everything fine there"

"It's fine for now but it's only matter of time till greedy witch wander out for a walk and probably she will drag other 5 with her leaving tower with only 1 witch remaining" Subaru sighted as he was so not sure what to do about that one

"Um Subaru will everything be fine if she um...?"

Emilia reluctantly muttered out as she was not sure how to tell him that letting lose witch out is a bad idea

"I can't contain 7 witches at once one is already bit of a trouble but 7 yea good luck with that" Subaru shrugged as he returned back to drinking his tea

"But but" Emilia not knowing what to say where fiddling with her fingers

"well let's just say that i made greedy witch offer in return for her freedom that offer will be thing that will keep her in check for time being as she wanders the world and be well curious kid" Subaru responded with a bit off resignation as he sighted

"And second part old dragon is bit nervous with all 7 there even he will have problems if all 7 get lose at once that's why entire fort is currently on lock down till this matter is settled" Subaru scratching his head as he knows this is his trouble and he is one to deal with it

"um... ok i understand but..." Emilia nervous as ever was playing with her fingers not sure how to say it

"Don't worry to much the woman that is a witch entered and i hope woman that is human will leave that should let her live her life without too much problems i hope" Subaru declared as he stated it

"You can actually forgive a witch" Emilia with bewilderment looked towards Subaru

"Forgiveness is a path to salvation as same time it's a path that one must cautiously walk for your kindness can easily be taken advantage off" Subaru half smirked as he too was well aware off how people without a second thought will take advantage of him

"Then?" Emilia not sure how to ask

"I get few guarantees and off she go do remember she did lived before and she is not actually Evil she is however not good as well she just nasty that's all" Subaru reluctantly have to give it to her after all she is not practically evil but he will never like her after what she did to beko nop.

Emilia put her hands on her head as he just can't comprehend him, and it's made her head hurt.

"How is it that you can be so normal around everyone including witches themselves?" Emilia looked back at him with disbelief in her eyes.

"I'm not the only one that's acting normal around them you yourself had no problem with shakmet" Subaru admitted as he looked towards Emilia.

"But she just sat there almost falling a sleep" Emilia told him with finger in her mouth and blinking her eyes.

"Exactly to be completely honest i would without any worry let her lose back to the world for she would probably find a nice hole dig herself into it and go to sleep ignoring EVERYTHING around her that's how she is only reason she would wake up is because some one is bothering her" Subaru shrugged as he keeps drinking his tea.

"Then why are they witches" Emilia reluctantly asked.

"Because they are mentally ill children with too much power at their disposal and only driven by their sins" Subaru responded with a sight.

He then looked up towards sky as he wandered.

"Well, shakmet is actually the mature one out from lot of them and Echidona be second top mature one then Minerva?" Subaru was actually not sure where to place Witch of wrath for she as air headed as you can get

"Minerva?" Emilia tilted her head as she heard a new witches name being called

"Witch of wrath one can easily call her blood crazed healing fanatic for if she sees anyone hurt, she will heal them screaming and crying all the time as she punches others to full health" Subaru shrugged as he remembers probably his second favourite witch but he was not sure would it be shakmet or Minerva his second favourite out off them all

Emilia had blank look and titled head in eh... expression on her

"Do you honestly think you can comprehend Witch that easily?" Subaru smirked as he looked towards Emilia who was confused out off her mind and being surrounded by lolis is not helping dam it

"Well, i can't but um..." Emilia still back to her questioning gaze

"It Should be fine i hope don't worry to much if worse comes to worse i go and deal with it permanently and i think she will perhaps even learn to live amongst people without causing harm so i want to give her that chance" Subaru had half smirk on his face as he looked towards Emilia who nod to that

"Naturally she will not leave without guarantees i don't trust her for a second" Subaru laughed at this as he fully understands what he is doing is stupid perhaps even insane.

"Well, if you say so then i trust you" Emilia just accepts it as is without too much thought

"To see my creator fate being dictated like this is odd for me i must admit" reuzu responded as she was not sure how to feel about that

"Speaking about clones let's get Roswell ass moving with that" Subaru stated this as he clapped his hands on table and told all clones to follow him he then let army of lolis lose on Roswell and told him to find them homes as he left bewildered Roswell bit troubled.

Subaru then found his way into fort of mystery and went to check up on wide awaken volcanica who was staring at a certain location

"Is thou fine with that" dragon asked

"I don't know to be honest but i want at least give her a chance what she does with it it's up to her" Subaru noted as he seen worried look on dragon

"Thou kindness is it's virtue but also its poison" dragon declared with a wide smile on his face

"Tell me about it but without that poison one can't make world better place than one he found" Subaru sighted at his own idealist viewpoint

Dragon then placed his massive hand on top off Subaru head and gently caressed it as he gently nodded

"Thou are indeed worthy of thou title" dragon declared as he placed his head back on his pillow

"I honestly don't care about that title what i care about is people around me are happy that's it" Subaru smirked as he surged

Dragon just huffed at this, and he pointed toward kitchen

"Thou might want to go there for now i sense someone is restless" dragon smirked as Subaru rolled his eyes and went to kitchen

There he found makeshift bar table connected with second trail room and a red man with eye patch gulping down drink after drink surrounded by countless empty bottles

"You prick what you're looking at" Red man instantly pointed to Subaru as he angrily screamed

"I'm looking at the drunk tard that chased out every single woman that ever entered this kitchen" Subaru walked up to him and sat next to him as he was moaning

"What's with you little shit and your way of getting every single beauty here shit i can't even bed them" raid responded as he gulped down yet another drink

"You can ONLY if they agree to it. Hell, i can even get you bed in there" Subaru laughed as he poured some milk into his glass and drank it.

He then looked back towards raid with raised eyebrow "Do i need to? Will you ever use it?" as he smirked

"Oh, shut up" raid slammed Subaru side with enough force to almost dislocate his shoulder

"I'm bored and i can't leave" Reid looked to his side as he sighted

"How about this then to help you with ladies?" Subaru smirked as he thought of a way to calm him fuck down for once.

Reid looked back to him with slight interest.

"You train them to be better fighter and not just Elsa and if you be i don't know kind to them they might want to hang around you more often eventually you can bed them if you play your cards right" Subaru raising his one finger as he closed his eyes and Reid just huffed at this as he looked away

"Or i can get you someone promising to teach i don't know how powerful he will be but i can tell kid got potential and a lot" Subaru smirked as he seen Reid looking back at him

"He's not as crazy as that spider, is he?" Reid reluctantly asked as he don't actually like look on Elsa face as she moans every time, he hits her, and it sends odd vibes to him something he don't like

"You know i honestly thought you and Elsa be inseparable considering her fetish and your character" Subaru with amusement looked at him and Raid hit his head at bar counter breaking few planks as result.

"That crazy lunatic is just wrong" Reid even kicks Elsa out off the room as fast as she enters just so he doesn't have to deal with her fetish

"Next time you kick her out try do me a favour aim at least one off the holes you made before at this rate entire tower will break down" Subaru pleaded, and Raid responded "i don't care what happens to this shit of tower"

"Yea if tower breaks, we will have way too many problems to clean up and i will lock you inside room with Elsa for a month" Subaru declared as he seen Raid staring at him and he then shaken his head as disgusting thought entered his mind.

"Fine i make less holes but you better have someone good for me to spar with you hear you little shit" Reid declared, and Subaru smirked

"That i shall see and by the way who won last time vs you and otto" Subaru asked as he titled his head and Raid responded

"Of course, i did but i admit green plant can hold his own" Reid had a bit off smile on his face as he remembered his drinking match against that one and he soon started to like him

"Right if you like otto I'm sure you will like one i send your way soon" Subaru stood up and placed new barrel on counter as he pointed at it

"Try not to harass bar maidens too much complaining is endless from them" Subaru slowly pulled away that barrel from Raid and he begrudgingly responded with fine as he grabbed barrel back from Subaru

With that Subaru left as he looked towards marry "hopefully he be less off a problem for you and if he keeps pestering you tell him you already in love with another that hopefully do the trick" Subaru looking at her with saddened expression

"I did that he doesn't care talk about rude and here i thought i seen it all" marry responded as she was folding her arms and nodding her head with anger in her eyes.

"It's not like i can turn him off so we just have to deal with him sorry for the trouble" Subaru lifted his hands in the air as he sighted

Marry then grabbed his hand and placed it on her own ass for second and then she reverted to normal "at least i can wash away this discussing feeling this way" marry stated as she let go off his hands

"You do know i am a man too right and not just stress relief" Subaru looking at her with a pout.

"Yes, i know" marry responded without any shame nor worry from her

"What happened to your boyfriend shouldn't you i don't know stop grabbing other men's arms just so you could get groped by them?" Subaru was holding his eyebrows as he closed his eyes with a sight.

"Well, he is still not here so i need to make do" Marry smirked as she run off with widened smile on her face

"Seriously them girls should learn modesty" Subaru shaken his head as he walked away back towards exit to mansion.

But before he could leave Tilly and clary grabbed his hands and pulled him inside room

"Boss boss we need some help to prepare for work" both fox woman responded, and Subaru just sighted as he looked at them two but before he could complain two women's where already wrapping their soft tails around him and feeling that sensation Subaru just given up.

"Fine" he responded as he buried his face in Tilly's tail and softly playing with clary tail "but I'm not doing that for free" two women responded with excitement as Subaru indulged in sensation of that sweet divine fluffiness for few moments.

He then gestured Clary to sit down by the mirror he then picked out tools for makeup and begin to apply makeup on clary just as Tilly was letting her tail wander all around him.

And clary sitting by the mirror too was not losing to her sister just as she found ways how to move her tail on him as he did his thing with the makeup.

And just like that 10-minute passed and clary was ready with well done grooming of her hair and few hair accessories as well as makeup that made her look incredibly cute.

"Every time i see boss work it just amazes me" Tilly feels bit odd as even her skills pales in comparison to his and she a woman dam it.

"Beauty can be made with proper equipment although i admit having someone already beautiful do help a lot" Subaru then pointed for Tilly to sit down by the mirror as clary reluctantly got off from her seat as she enjoys him touching her with his gentle hands.

Tilly then with a massive smile on her face pointed toward her own eyebrows "boss i think that might need to be looked at today" and as Subaru looked at it he could tell there's nothing to do there but if it's makes her feel better so be it and so he got her to face him as he closed in on her really really close and he begin his work however Tilly was digging her nails into her own chair as she desperately holding herself back because of strong sensation of wanting to pounce on him.

Clary too got to him from behind as she casually placed her breasts on his back and pointed with her finger at Tilly's checks

"Perhaps she would look nicer with some darker tones around here and there" Clary with playful voice given her opinion.

And Subaru pulled his head back a little to get a better look at Tilly and just like that he buries his head in between Clary's breasts Subaru tilted his head without even nothing his predicament.

"Good eye that would look better and if we add some red tone here and there and soften out colours, she will look stunning" Subaru nodded his head just as clary placed her hands on his shoulders

And Subaru got back to work just as his head was resting in-between Clary's breasts as for one thing both fox sisters knows that moment Subaru gets consented on task of makeup, he forgets everything around him to a point you can strip him naked, and he probably won't not notice.

And as Subaru was completely oblivious to everything and working his magic with makeup. Girls in question were feeling him up and if they don't do anything sudden and drastic, he will not notice.

And just as Subaru finally finished his work on Tilly girls where already more then satisfied playing with his less sensitive areas and as Subaru got back off Tilly clary was still stuck to his back like glue

"Clary do you always need to stick this close to me as i work?" Subaru asked as he looked at clary who playfully smirked and giggled

"But boss i don't want to miss any details of your work" clary was hiding her smile behind her own hand

"Fine whatever but do know even i can have troubles when two off you get too close" Subaru shrugged as he put his work tools back in their respective places and with one last look at both girls, he confirmed his work, and he nodded his head satisfied with results.

Fox girls giggled as they were covering their mouths with their own hands and Tilly with but inaudible whisper "soon boss soon"

"Now then you two going to town not far away from crush manor?" Subaru asked as he looked back to fox girl as he finished putting tools away

"Yes, boss we like to scout out next town for you know little walk" clary responded as she smiled at him with her wide cheerful smile

"Yes yes i know right let's see what do we know so far about target there" Subaru lifted his head up as he was thinking and trying to remember as much as he can about that one

"I don't think i remember his name though i do remember his fat like really fat he used to be one off veterans from war but after that ended, he ends up drinking and eating stuff almost nonstop" Subaru was poking his forehead trying to remember something that's happened long time ago

"His name is Martin bedencos he is lesser noble from demi-humans war and yes he is fat" clary responded as she nodded.

"He also loves to throw party's and other things for entertainment almost two times a week" tilly responded with neutral expression.

"And his domain can't actually support his habits, so he ends up using other methods to make some gold" Subaru sighted as he begins to remember that fat pig.

"Yes we believe he is one that covers for slave trade in that area as he normally turns blind eye to anything demi-humans related local population believe it's due to war but more information is needed" clary given her summery on what she knows of next target so far

"Yes i remember now he don't turn blind eye to slave trade he is running it utilizes local gangs as cover at same time he also likes to display his merchandises at underground brothel he also loves to sample his merchandises if i remember correctly" Subaru feeling discussed as he remembered that prick oh how much he wishes to purge his sorry ass again along with his entire blood line off this world

"Boss underground brothel should be run by blood hand gang" tilly responded as she had bit confusion on information

"He is main sponsor and more less figure head that boldly snake tattoo fella is but a bait or someone to blame if it all fails reason why when knights dismantle this gang last time it got back up again only few months later with new so-called leader" Subaru shrugged at that.

"That's explains few things then" Tilly noted it down

"Entire blood hand or whatever they call themselves now are just small-time crooks trying to look intimidating with bunch of crap but be careful they have habit of using venom a lot" Subaru looked at tilly with half smile

"Yes, it's well-known fact about venom part as they put it on everything, they use a single cut, and it kills you reason why they call themselves blood hand is because if you get even drop of blood on your hand you dead or so they say" clary responded as she too was remembering stories about them.

"They are not that special to be honest their entire stick is basically intimidating and acting like crazy people that's about it only real problem be that night stalker fella but without him entire gang is just simple gang like bandits nothing serious" Subaru declared as he now remembers them buggers and how much trouble he had with that night stalker fella

"Night stalker?" Tilly and clary tilted tier's heads at unfamiliar word.

"That's what i call him or her to be honest i don't really know too much about that all i know is how he fights reason i call him stalker" Subaru shrugged as he sighted

"He acts as more off a free lancer that just so happens to stick with whatever gang starts running brothel reason why every time new gang takes over, he soon joins that gang" Subaru then gestured girls to listen up

Fox girls perked up their ears and intently listen to him as any details about this could come in handy

"He or she normally wears full body clock and have face hidden with some scarf or bandages i could not tell.

He also loves ambush, hit and run tactics for him the fight is not over until his target is eliminated one way or another if he sets on you as target, he will be pestering you for a long time unless you actually deal with him.

He also prefers long range attacks using bow and wind magic that is really annoying as his arrows can easily bend around corners at least once make it unpredictable

And he is good at hiding and staying dormant so let's say he crawls into some random hole he stays there for days no problem

To him his own survival is above everything other's are but expendable as he easily uses his own men as bait to get his target even if it's kills them for him it's not worth to even consider and he loves set up traps for both killing the target and getting away he is main reason why Reinhard is so reluctant at chasing dangerous criminals for too long because of collateral damage that prick normally do in his attempt to get away" Subaru finished his summary on that one as he sighted and fox girls looked at one another and tilted tiers heads

"But why we haven't heard of him or her?" two in unison responded

"Because he prefers to be left alone infamy is not what he wants so if he can help it, he will do everything he can to leave as little mark of his work as he can or push blame on others reason why no one knows much about him or her" Subaru noted as he sighted.

"Think of him as opposite to Elsa that's more less it" Subaru given his best impression of night stalker memo by comparing it to Elsa

"Would Elsa lose against him in a fight?" Tilly asked bit concerned

"Doubtful if Elsa can get close to him or actually see him in action, she probably be fast enough to chase him down but only just" Subaru noted as he pondered little more on that one

"I think he have divine protection of some sort probably something to do with wind as the way he uses wind spells it more like extension of his body then actual spells for he never uses wind in same way as normally people use it so you will not see wind blades flying at you" Subaru nodded as he petted both fox girl's head with warm smile

"Now you two be careful out there ok. priority is that you return not information understood" Subaru with serious voice command and two fox girls who with beaming expressions nodded and responded with "yes sir"

But before Subaru could leave Tilly asked, "boss how would you deal with this night stalker?" She wandered

"Depends really but i can say that flushing him out and destroying good portion of city in process is one way to deal with him but i prefer it don't come down to it" Subaru smiles as he walked out off the room and muttered under his nose "at least not this time"

Two fox girls looked to one another with sparkling eyes "do you think he will bed us if we bring night stalkers head?" asked clary yet tilly sighted at her sister's remarks

"No i don't he probably be scolding us first then praising us later scolding for doing dangerous stuff and praising for actually pulling it off" Tilly sighted as she was imagining him laying on the bed

"He's just that sweet" Tilly now blushed a little

Clary too nodded her head as two girls just sighted and went off to work.

Subaru shaking his head as he remembered the crap his mercenaries were dealing with last time and that night stalker fella was one that got him his nickname the purge king due to share scale of destruction and death that resulted in after math let alone all off the fat pigs blood line vanishing off this world and all off that because fat pig tried to poison Subaru

"Eh... well at least I'm not scared anymore" Subaru with a sight and small smirk looked towards the world around him in so much colour that he refuses to lose even one not again.

As Subaru finally managed to get out of the fort, he went looking for Garfield and he soon found him and his sister acting odd with one another

Subaru rolled his eyes as he seen this before and walked right next to them

"So, you two will talk about or not? Subaru shouted as he half scared both Garfield and Federica

"Um Subaru-sama i don't" Federica wanted to stop the Subaru from going further with it.

Subaru looked at Garfield and raised his eyebrows "you do know that she wants to talk with you as much as you want to talk with her so get it over already it's annoying everyone here" Subaru declared with angry look and Garfield just deflated as he looked towards his sister

"There into a kitchen and make everyone pies and talk it out" Subaru declared as he pointed toward kitchen

And two looked at Subaru with confusion

"Pies?" two blinked

"You two have any other stuff both of you know how to cook?" Subaru tilted his head at this, and Garfield just smirked as he burst out laughing

"You really are prick you know cap" Garfield declared

"Well, i personally prefer to have family getting along and not running around one another being well that what you where doing" Subaru sighted as he looked towards Federica, and she too given up

"I will not ask how you know we can make pies, but we shall make some for you Subaru-sama" Federica responded

And Garfield lifted his thumbs up "oh yea i make you pie a big one so big i bury you in it" Garfield nodded his head at that

Subaru thought about pie a big pie to actually be buried inside and first thing it come to mind was a human sized cake with Emilia coming out off it

"I like your style garf" Subaru told him that as he walked away with thumbs up.

Subaru then wandered around mansion and soon found Beatrice playing with Petra, meiling and shaula and as they all looked so sweet, he just let them be and continued walking he soon found otto out cold buried under massive amounts of paperwork and he just left him there

He continued walking and found Roswell with army of lolis claiming over one another trying to hold on to him as he had please kill me expression on his face and next to him stood ram angry at display of lolis

"Oh Roswell sorry sorry forgot you have no control over them" Subaru huffed as he ordered all lolis to sit down in circle next to Roswell and he with tired eyes looked at Subaru

"You are doing this on purpose aren't you?" Roswell asked as he had empty look in his eyes

Subaru just shrugged as he smirked "now i wander why i would do something like that on purpose other then sanctuary incident that is now concluded what other reason i would have to mess with you for i wander?" Subaru acing all innocent and Roswell just sighted as he looked to ram and nodded

"Sir Ba... Subaru-sama due to your recent achievements lord Roswell-sama like to offer you position of knight to be Emilia's personal knight" ram now pretending to deliver news to Subaru as if she's like messenger

"Yes Subaru-kun i would just love if you be the knight for Emilia, she too agreed on with it" Roswell regained some off his cheer as he thought of something to mess back with Subaru

"And what exactly do i get in return for this title thing?" Subaru sighted as he raised his eyebrows

Roswell bit confused but responded anyway "Naturally being right hand Knight's for royal candidate is great honour and pay is really good"

Roswell clapped his hands together as he smirked and Subaru with deadpan expression pointed towards himself "You do know right now i am top ranking individual in the nation, right?" Subaru declared and Roswell looked at him with but confusion but soon his confusion disappeared

"Yes you are sage but given your current title and if you keep being around Emilia so much without other titles you soon be accused for favouring one candidate over another" Roswell signed out with his cheerful voice

"Is some one bother doing that i just marry all 5 candidate's and be done with this entire selection making all 5 Quinn's" Subaru just huffed as he shaken his head

"But your right on that" Subaru sighted

Roswell eyebrows twitch at notion that he can literally crown himself a king just like that, yet he said nothing

Ram huffed at that notion too "as if" taunting him

"Do you want to bet" Subaru looked back to ram with sparkling eyes and massive smile on his face and ram lifted her hand in air shaking her head

If one thing ram learned from entire sanctuary incident is that you don't bet against him full stop

"So, you are foisting this Emilia's personal knight title on me and dropping some pockets change as reward for the trouble" Subaru asked as he looked back towards Roswell with tilted head and Roswell sighted

"What do you want in exchange for this title?" Roswell could not believe he is having to resort to bribery. people work their entire life for this and yet he must negotiate with him for him to take it

"I want full mining rights in Eleanor forest no one is allowed to go near it without my permission full stop" Subaru declared as he looked towards Roswell

"You wish to claim entire forest as its lord?" Roswell raised his eyebrows as he was not so sure what is he up to now

"Yes Entire forest belongs to Elves and in this case Emilia however due to current situation with the forest and it people them lands fall under your jurisdiction i want full control over them lands" Subaru explained as he stared at Roswell and Roswell slowly nodded his head

"And in return you become Emilia's personal knight" Roswell stated

"Yes and do not forget Knight's salary as well" Subaru smirked as he pointed his thumbs up at Roswell who just sighted

"You are one greedy man i give you that" he shaken his head at the absurdity of this man who would want a frozen forest for

Then it downed for Roswell as he slowly lifted his head and had wide open eyes

"You can free the Elves?" Roswell covered his mouth as he stared at the boy who was smirking from ear to ear

"I can't but Beatrice can" Subaru smiling like shark at seeing Roswell paling bit by bit

"You see Roswell i can bust out elf's relatively easily for the spell E.M.T. is biggest nightmare for anything magic related it is called Absolute magic nullification field for a reason" Subaru laughed at this

Roswell did experience that spell first-hand and seen exactly how dangerous it actually is for any magic caster he needed to know what is up with that.

"What is up with that spell it's not barrier at all" Roswell confusedly asked

"It's spell specifically made to render magic casters well pointless troublesome part about it is that it not only dispels your active spells it can also disrupt any other spells effects let's say sanctuary barrier or barrier around sages tower or in this case frozen elves all that can be undone with this single spell alone" Subaru smirked as Roswell just began to sweat

"So, if i am correct then no matter how powerful one spell is this EMT as you call it will disable it?" Roswell was terrified at prospect of something like that being used so freely for his entire 400-year worth of study are rendered worthless before it.

"Yes it do not matter how much mana you put in your spell that single spell will render it pointless it is one off my and beckos originals after all" Subaru looked proud at this and Roswell just holding his head as he was thinking of ways to not collapse for Emilia only run for this thing just so she could free elves but he can walk in and do that then how will he keep this boy here he still need his help that much is clear

Roswell lifted his tired head up and looked at Subaru "you are doing this on purpose aren't you?" Roswell asked as he see Subaru smiling wide

"Well, if someone don't want to i don't know teach Emilia to become actual ruler then how about i just take her back home and free it from ice while I'm at it" Subaru looked straight into Roswell eyes as he seen him reach the understanding on what he is doing.

"Them lands are your way to make me from being annoying in addition to contract how many guarantees do you need?" Roswell was impressed by how well he handles situation almost as if he did this for a long time

Subaru shrugged his shoulders and only responded "having more then one never hurts"

Roswell shaken his head "the ceremony is later today go get dressed we are in agreement" a she sighted with small smile

Subaru pointed his thumbs up and left Roswell then looked at ram with bit of a smirk

"And you call him useless?" Roswell commented

Yet ram could not respond for this is how she described Subaru first time around and now she was looking to her side on how wrong she was

As Subaru was walking away from Roswell office, he figured to drop in to check up on Emilia

As he went about, he seen Emilia still with reuzu talking about something and Emilia blushing from ear to ear

"Why hello there mind if i interrupt" Subaru asked with raised eyebrow as he knocks on door frame before actually entering

And Emilia with panicked expression was saying something at such rapid rate that Subaru could not understand her, and he looked towards reuzu who gestured him to sit down

"So lil-sub how can this old lady help you out" reuzu with elderly woman's eyes and big smile asked

"It's less that you can help me out and more Emilia here just wanted to let her know Roswell foisted title of her personal knight on me" Subaru shrugged as he picked up teacup and began drinking

At this Emilia looked at him concerned and bit afraid "you don't want that?" she reluctantly asked

"It be nice if you. i don't know let me know before hand" Subaru looked at now deflated looking Emilia who was playing with her fingers

"Then" Emilia looked at him with pleading puppy eyes

"Yes i take that position don't worry i did agreed" before Subaru could finish Emilia was already wrapping her arms around his neck as she was saying thank you over and over again

"There's one thing that i did asked as well you know" Subaru smirked as he looked towards Emilia

Emilia blinking as she was looking toward Subaru unsure what he would ask for

"I have full control over mining rights in your forest Roswell have no saying in the matter only i have as long as you grant your permission that is" Subaru shrugged as he begins to drink tea just as Emilia was looking at him with tilted head

"Why do you ask for that for?" Emilia just couldn't understand why he wanted that

"Let's see majority of my things that i use are heavily dependent on magical stones that are ridiculously expensive and here just so happens to be a mine to get them crystals" Subaru with raised eyebrow smirked as he seen Emilia to finally get it why he wanted them rights

"Yes, that's fine it just makes sure elves in forest are not harmed" Emilia declared at this, and Subaru tilted his head

"Can't i just relocate them somewhere?" Subaru sighted as he scratched his head

"Ummm... Subaru elves are frozen how you going to relocate them?" Emilia with finger in her mouth tilted her head

"I don't know bust them out and find them good place to live but then again they are elves and prejudice they all suffer are bit..." Subaru was wandering where he would actually put elves so they could leave in peace for once.

Emilia with wide eyes and wide-open mouth was just staring at Subaru

"Fort of mystery or perhaps that floating island hmm..." Subaru was thinking of utilizing Echidona castle he just needs to acquire it before hand and getting to it can be bit troublesome

"Subaru did you just say you can wake elves up?" Emilia with a shaking voice asked

"I can't but beko can trouble is i actually don't know how E.M.T. wold interact with frozen elves thought there's a chance they straight up die and get shattered on exposure to it" Subaru shrugged as he continued drinking his tea

"But they are frozen for very long time and even puck can't wake them up same with Roswell" Emilia covering her own mouth as she declared that

"Oh spell E.M.T. yng affinity spell is a spell that disrupts connection between spell and mana and spell regardless how powerful it might be as long as it has no connection to mana it will disappear be it magical barriers or normal spells moment your spell loses connection to mana is just puff and gone" Subaru make gestures with his hand in dramatic way showing how something disappear

"That's why that spell renders any magic casters pointless" Subaru shrugged as he drinks his tea

Emilia now staring at Subaru with her eyes wide open and her face was but centimetres away from Subaru as she looked right into his eyes

"Do know there's a chance it can kill them right" Subaru stated

"And even if you bust them out i can't lift entire forest so elves will need to be relocated for they can't feed themselves in there" Subaru pushing Emilia back into her seat as he stated that

And Emilia just sat down on her chair as she was looking into a distance

"Um... you right but" Emilia reluctantly looked back towards him

"Yes, it's possible that spell can undue frozen forest or at least elves but there's more problems with that forest then just ice and snow" Subaru sighted as he was scratching his head

"Problems?" Emilia tilted her head with finger in her mouth

"let's see first that snake witch beast might be still there or at leas crap he leaves behind that need to be dealt with normal witch beasts are problem too entire forest is surrounded by myriad of different magic barriers scattered around and nothing can grow there making living there next to impossible for anyone more less" Subaru pointed problems on his fingers as Emilia's excitement slowly diminishes every time, he mentions problems

"So i walk in bust elves out and then what they will need to move or starve to death or be eaten by witch beasts take your pick" Subaru had half smile as he looked at now saddened looking Emilia

"But but..." Emilia was not sure what to say but she couldn't let such opportunity go that easily

"there's are few ways thought examples be i bust elves out and ask them to work in mines getting them stones in return providing them with food and all other necessity needed to survive for it's like trade between me and them but" Subaru looked towards Emilia as he sighted

"But that makes Elves to be dependent on me or individual known as acting sage and witch beasts are still a thing and they will always be a thing there because witch beast are attracted by mana so they will always gather there" Subaru sighted

"That can be avoided by the barrier to block out witch beasts same as ilram village but then Elves are more less locked into a prison of snow and ice only difference is that they can move about little bit more themselves that's it" Subaru declared as he don't like to have sanctuary 2.0 on his hands

"Then what can we do?" Emilia with saddened expression asked

"Make a place for elves to return to? Like i don't know a country that don't straight up want to kill them on spot for being elves and in that way, they become less dependent on me for trade, and they can still support themselves by trading with neighbouring villages at same time they be able to get themselves some proper equipment to fight off witch beast" Subaru shrugged as he drinks his tea

Emilia with wide open eyes and finger in her mouth was listening to him and chewing on every single word he says with utmost concentration

Subaru looked back to Emilia as he sees her like that "looks like elves need someone to i don't know become Quinn so she can make better place for them to survive?" Subaru smirked and Emilia pulled back as she understood what he is talking about

"Don't expect me to do everything" Subaru huffed as he seen Emilia puffing her chest and banging at it now similar to felt

"That i will do" as she nodded her head with determination

Subaru sighted as he seen Emilia's determination suddenly morphing into that of a child who is about to ask pocket change of their parents

"Ummm... Subaru can i get more off those books" Emilia was fidgeting as she lowered her head with extended hand

Subaru rolled his eyes and pulled out few books on economics and put it on the table

"Don't forget there's ceremony today thanks to someone that been trying to keep that as surprise "Subaru pushing books towards Emilia who picking them up nodded and run off to her room

Reuzu was laughing the entire time at two off them and Subaru looked back to her "I want her as my girlfriend not daughter for crying out loud" Subaru had bit annoyed expression on his face yet reuzu was laughing her ass off at the exchange

Subaru shaken his head and went off to garden to play with spirits for a bit to relax and calm down before he starts cursing puck again

And this continued for few hours just as Garfield called in him for a pie that everyone in mansion eaten it afterwards Garfield called Subaru for a chat.

"Um cap i wanted to ask about what you mentioned back there at sanctuary" Garfield stated as he was not sure what's that is all about and Subaru gestured Garfield to follow him

As two went somewhere quiet and Subaru made Garfield to sit down Subaru begin

"Your mother is not dead she is alive" Subaru with natural expression and serious tone told him that and Garfield suddenly morphing from confused then to joy then to sorrow then to bit off anger then sadness

"So, she left us" Garfield lowered his head as tears began to leak

"No, she can't remember anything that happened before 10 years ago she can't even remember her old name" Subaru sighted as he looked towards now shocked looking Garfield

"Before you ask i think it's one of two reasons one be amnesia due to trauma of that land slide or someone had eaten her memories, but trauma is more likely" Subaru declared with neutral and serious voice

Garfield not sure what to think as he just lowered his head and asked, "how is she?"

"10 years ago, she was found by certain man who took her in and looked after her eventually two married and now they have two kids' boy and a girl" Subaru still maintained his neutral serious voice as Garfield had a sad smile on his face

"Before you think about, she better off without you do know she never stop looking for her lost memories and her current husband spent a lot off time on it as well as if she by instinct knows she is missing someone remember that well" Subaru declared as Garfield slowly lifted his tear-soaked face.

"I told you whatever it's good news or bad news i leave for you to decide" Subaru with sad smile and understand gaze looked at Garfield who nodded his head with few tears falling out trying his best to keep it cool

"If you want i can let you know where to find her" Garfield clutching his fist was not fully sure what to do

"I think you might want to talk to your sister about it as it does concern her as well but it's your choice i shall not say the word for it's between you and her only" Subaru patted Garfield shoulder as he was pointing towards mansion

"Thanks for letting me know i need to go now" Garfield nodded and given his thanks as he run off towards mansion covering his face

Subaru with deep sight looked towards Garfield as he was running away "i hope you will get some closure from all off this mess" as he went toward mansion as well but slowly for, he wants to give Garfield some space

But before he could get to it, he was intercepted by rem

"Subaru-sama i have a matter to discuss with you" rem in professional manner gestured him to come

"Ohh..." Subaru walked up to rem, and she led him towards kitchen

Upon arrival towards kitchen Subaru seen it was best described as one big mess as everything was everywhere

Subaru lifted his head up and looked towards sealing "just how can you get eggs on the sealing?" just as same eggs fallen to the ground and left a big sticky mess

"I believe your one that got Garfield and Federica to make some food yes" Rem with sweet smile looked at Subaru

Subaru looking at rem with unreadable expression just giggled "you know, you sure as hell don't mess around much" Subaru laughed as he is shaking his head then he got a broomstick and started cleaning

"I am soo happy you decided to help me out" rem clapped her hands together as she instantly got to work next to Subaru

"I be happier if certain maid wouldn't create mess just so she can i don't know get a chance to talk" Subaru giggled as he was cleaning and rem frozen stiff

Subaru looked at rem with big smile and sneaky eyes as rem blushing as she looked away

"Do you honestly thought i would not realise?" Subaru laughing as he keeps on cleaning

"i am sorry" rem muttered out as if she a child that was caught doing something bad and was about to be scolded

"Next time try to i don't know talk first?" Subaru giggled as he continued cleaning and was surprisingly fast at it

"I see you know your way around household work" rem slightly impressed by how fast Subaru handles it almost as if he was doing it for a long time

"I was working as butler at one point at another as maid so yes i know my way around maids work at least on the bright side i don't need to worry about my maid co-worker constantly slapping my but like last time" Subaru sighted as he remembered his time back in kararagi and his first work there and treatment he received from mid age maids

Rem looking at Subaru with raised eyebrow "the sage was the maid before?" she couldn't actually believe her own ears at that

"Oh, i been doing bunch of things maid work was but one" Subaru sighted as he already half done cleaning the kitchen

"I heard you taking title of Emilia personal knight?" rem shutter as she told him that and Subaru lifted his eyebrows and looked straight to her

"Yes, go on" Subaru with small smile ushered rem to continue

"I would like if you took me as your personal maid then" rem with blushing cheeks and lowered head requested

"So, you know rem do you actually know to what maddening mess do you want to get into?" Subaru raised his eyebrows as he looked at rem with unreadable expression

Rem tilted her head as she was not fully sure what he meant by it

"If you become my personal maid so to speak you be exposed to ridiculous things that will make you question reality itself and I'm not joking" Subaru looked at her with serious expression

Yet rem responded "That is fine" without much of a thought

"And second you need to get permission from Emilia and Explain to her in as much detail what you planning to do with this position not hiding anything" Subaru smirked as he seen rem face slowly turn pink as pink as her sister's hair

"I um i... and if she agrees" rem hiding her face behind her hands looked at Subaru from in-between her fingers

"Only Then it's fine and i take you as my personal maid" Subaru smiled with warm smile as rem nodded and just run out off kitchen without saying a word

"Talk about personal maid she makes mess and I'm one cleaning it up heh" Subaru keep cleaning till he finished and left kitchen sparkling clean he then walked around the mansion and seen Garfield with lowered head wandering around not knowing what to do

Subaru walked up to him and told him "Need someone to talk to?" he asked as he seen Garfield lifted his head and at first, he tries to play it cool, but Subaru seen right through his facade and told Garfield let's go outside for a bit

As two now outside Subaru pulled out his guitar "this might help you think a little so just listen to a song and relax" and Subaru begin playing his instrument

As Subaru keep on singing Garfield was sitting there listening as he felt all his raging emotions slowly die down and only peace and tranquillity was left it was such a nice feeling that Garfield could not help himself and closed his eyes as he fallen a sleep just as sun was shining on him in court yard And as warm sun was slowly warming him up he felt as if he is in embrace of his mother and with small tear and big smile he dream of his mother

After Subaru finished his song and now Garfield completely a sleep, he seen Federica walking up to them and Subaru showing her to be quite as he pointed toward Garfield, she took her seat next to him and begin to play with his hair as she had warm smile

Subaru then quietly whisper to her ears "don't leave until he wakes up i believe he will want to talk to you" and with that he left

And as Subaru got good distance away, he sighted with happy smile "yea little brother can get troubling"

Subaru then kept wandering around mansion and playing around with anyone he could get his hands on be it Petra or Beatrice just as time went on and on and soon Subaru was told to get ready for ceremony

So, he did without any trouble for he did this before and as ceremony come and go Subaru was now standing by the balcony looking at night sky just as everyone where happily messing about in parry even Garfield seemed to be way more relaxed now

And at this point Emilia walked up to Subaru as she took her spot next to his right hand leaning on balcony and looking at same thing Subaru is looking

"So, my knight how are you keeping up" Emilia with super big emphasis on my part asked Subaru

"Yes, my lady what can i do for you?" Subaru responded with a knightly greetings and Emilia got instantly mad at him

"Can you drop that" she told him

"Yes yes but i still found your reaction funny" Subaru giggled and Emilia hit his side

"Tell me Emilia what do you see here?" Subaru asked as he pointed party

And Emilia looking at it nodded "i see peaceful evening" Even though everyone was messing about but to Emilia this was indeed peaceful

"And i see the same no fight no bullshit just people being well themselves" Subaru was indeed savouring this as best as he can

"I think you already know but" Emilia stopped herself from saying it for but a moment then she continued

"I am the one that frozen the forest you know" Emilia told him with reluctance

"Yes, i know to fight off some one who wanted you harm and did harm to your mother nothing there is to blame you for as far as i can see" Subaru shrugged yet Emilia didn't let go

"But i left princess room" with small tear in her eye Emilia noted

"You where lead out by spirits and your mother never explained you anything only ordered you to be good girl as she locked you in a cage same thing as puck was doing so blame eventually falls on her as well but way less then that off puck" Subaru shrugged as he keeps watching the party

"But mother" Emilia wanted to deny him

"Your mother had similar condition i once had and she was afraid of losing you to ridiculous degree that's basically why she used to lock you away not just to hide you but also that she would not lose you puck had same feelings for you it's just that your mother did not restrain you too much like puck did and both figured to hide you from everything that's why wen you find something new it's in your child's nature to go end explore and because your mother might get mad you hide it away as best as you can now if your mother haven't isolated you as much you would not felt need to hide things from her and with that your mother could seen attack coming in time" Subaru sighted as he was way too familiar what Emilia's mother actually felt he too was the same reason why he locked Emilia away not to protect but to ensure she don't change and lose her colour for he was scared same as Fortuna

"I like to say your mother was afraid that you will change into something Evil without giving you a chance" Subaru sighted

"Mother was afraid?" Emilia tilted her head no that can't be true her mother was brave

"Kids always idolise their parents for me as outsider i can see things as they really are and yes, she was really afraid that i can tell" Subaru with sad smile looked at Emilia as Emilia had look of understanding but then she looked back to him

"You had similar condition?" Emilia asked

And Subaru responded "oh yes there where time where i was constantly betrayed by everyone who i ever trusted eventually i developed paranoia and trust me it's not fun your mother displays similar symptoms" Subaru sighted and then looked back to Emilia

"Do you want to know what happened to your cry baby green uncle?" Subaru smirked as he looked at Emilia who Eyes begin to widen and she covered her mouth but nodded

"He is now a sleep for next few months to few years his missions is now completed so he rests i can show you where later if you want" Subaru seen Emilia eye leek small tear as she nodded her head

"I would love to see him again" Emilia with a tear in her eye's noted

"Do know your entire family history is bit troublesome that even i don't have many details on only just speculations" Subaru shrugged as he sighted and Emilia looking towards party nodded

"I noticed that" as she too giggled at sheer absurdity that is her family tree

"Well enough about the past let's focus on present and future" Subaru declared as he smiled

"Yes, past stays in past" Emilia responded with bit wooden expression

"For now, at least" she then whispers so quietly that only she could hear it

"So, tell me my lady what are your future plans" Subaru smirked as Emilia finally coming out off her sad trip and then focusing on happier things as she looked at Subaru

"Right now, i honestly don't know i was hoping you would tell me" Emilia reluctantly agreed as she sighted feeling useless

"From this point on your future is in your hands what you make off it can only be decided by you for better or worst" Subaru shrugged as he looked into the party with warm expression

Emilia looking at Subaru from the side made big smile on her face "in that case i want you by my side in future" Emilia declared as she buried her head into his side

"Say let's go for a dance" Subaru invited Emilia for a dance and two soon started their own nonsensical dance on the dance floor as party concluded and everyone went to sleep Subaru hopped into his room of shadows

In his room he seen tired looked tella and rest of the witches all over the place tella looked at Subaru with expression that convey but one sentence "how long?"

And Subaru sighted

He then clapped his hands to get attention of everyone inside the room

"Now then girls i hope you haven't been destroying my home too much?" Subaru asked as he looked around and see Daphne's legs poking out off the fridge who soon got her head out off the fridge with frozen lips that smiling from ear to ear

"But food here is amazing" she noted as she was chewing on what was once upon the time was ice cream

"Now now we all had little bit off fun how about we all go to sleep here i make rooms for everyone" Subaru then concentrated onto a wall and added additional rooms for everyone with each and everyone's names on the door

"I left stuff in your rooms so you can mess around there till you get tired no one will bother you there unless we actually need you to show up ok" Subaru now sounding more like day care centre worker then actual sage send them all to respective rooms and shakmet was especially pleased with double size king bed and all witches soon found themselves a sleep

After that mess was cleaned up Subaru looked at tella with sorry expression

"Sorry i thought you will not get that tired from them" Subaru had sheepish smiles as he was apologising to tella who in turn sighted

"I forgot how much work they can be to keep them from killing themselves" tella fallen back to couch as she felt exhausted, she then grabbed Subaru and pulled him in

"Now they not here i want to be pampered too" tella declared as she lazily was pulling down Subaru shirt Subaru with a sight picked up tella and brought her into only room that no might enter his room the one he grown up in

There he put tella on the bed and stripped her naked with gentle hands then he too got undressed as he slid into bed sheets himself

Tella lazily wanted to do something more but had no energy left

"It's fine to just sleep from time to time you know" Subaru noted as he hugged tellas naked body and placed her head on his arms and tella just nodded as she made herself more comfortable by wrapping her legs s around him as she snuggled into his arms and closed her eyes as and see just fallen asleep

Subaru too played with her hair a little but too found himself asleep for it was really exhausting last few days and both are just tired and so Subaru fell a sleep for next two days straight for nothing could wake him up other then tella and she was not willing to wake him up

And as two days passed Subaru finally began to wake up and there in his old room off shadows, he seen happy looking tella now resting on his chest as he begins moving about tella too woken up

"Good morning sleepy head" tella responded as she given him his morning kiss and naturally Subaru responded in kind after their morning ritual of kissing and other stuff two begin to leave the room to meet up with other witches who where each in their own respective rooms and the only person inside sitting area was Beatrice

"You finally awaken i suppose" worried looking spirit declared as she come closer and begin to investigate, she soon sighted as she found nothing wrong with him

"Erm beko what's up?" Subaru not sure what's going on was tilting his head

"Your body reached its limit from your nightly walks, and you were asleep for two days due to exhaustion" Beatrice with a humf declared and Subaru scratched his head at that

"But i was making sure to sleep as much as i can" Subaru not sure why but that's what happened

"You are doing too much all at once never a second wasted you honestly think you can keep it up for long?" Beatrice giving her scolding as she pointed at how much things he actually does per day and the list is long

"You are forbidden from doing anything for next week that's final in fact" Beatrice huffed and Subaru could tell he will not get out of this one, so he was fine i have a brake

And with morning breakfast in the room off shadows done Subaru soon found himself back in mansion only to be surrounded by multiple different worried people especially Emilia

"Well, hello there" Subaru lifted his hand as he was waking up

And Emilia instantly planted herself onto him as she was worried sick

"Now what's happening to get everyone here like that" Subaru tilted his head as he asked with bit confusion

"You where a sleep for two days straight and nothing would wake you up" Emilia with relief stated

"Are you ok" she instantly asked

"Try to be more specific" Subaru responded with mischief in his eyes

Emilia slammed his chest in childish pout "people don't sleep for two days as if they dead like that and no healing magic could do anything"

"a yes that's probably because i am dealing with way too many problems at once probably" Subaru shrugged as he begins climbing out of the bed only to be stopped by rem

"You are not leaving your bed till you fully rested" rem stated as she was not allowing him to even move

"Can you people promise me not to die or otherwise blow-up stuff up around here whenever i rest keeping you out off trouble are not easy you know" Subaru joked as he looked at everybody in the room who where not sure how to respond to that for it was true to a point this hit Emilia especially hard

Then everyone looked to Roswell who lifted his hands in surrender not wanting to anger anyone here

"Ok bad joke but if i lay in bed all day long i get cramps so let me out" Subaru declared as he moved of his bed but before he could he noticed something and kicked everyone out off the room only Emilia remained

"Care to explain" Subaru stated as he pulled down his blanket exposing his naked torso and Emilia instantly shaken her head

"I haven't" Emilia immediately responded as she looked at him

"If not you then wh..." Subaru slapped his hand to his face

"Did you talk to rem yet?" Subaru asked and Emilia tilted her head

"You go talk to rem" Subaru send Emilia out off his room as well as he stood up and see himself stalk naked

"I knew rem can be bit forceful but this? Did she drug me again?" Subaru was contemplating as he remembered one incident from long time ago where rem used a drug to keep him going for a long time when they where married he was locked inside bed for 4 fays afterwards unable to move due to intense muscle pain

Subaru shaken his head and discarded this stupid notion and left it be as exhaustion due to over work

After he finally got out off bed and got himself ready, he went around giving his greetings and playing with everyone for a bit then he went to look for Garfield and eventually found him

"Hey Garfield, how are you keeping" Subaru asked as he looked towards Garfield who was hitting a tree

"Care to tell me why you are training?" Subaru question him as he lifted his eyebrows

"So i can be a shield" Garfield declared as he hit a tree so hard it broken in half

"If you give me a promise i can get you a teacher" Subaru smirked as he looked towards Garfield with a smirk and Garfield looked back towards him

"Promise?" he asked with tilted head

"No matter what you are not allowed to disclose who your teacher is if you agree to this condition i get him to teach you a trick or two" Subaru smiled as he seen Garfield instantly agreeing

So, Subaru got Garfield to meet reid inside tower and Garfield got absolutely demolished 10 time's until he couldn't move anymore then Subaru looked at raid with questioning gaze.

"Ye you did not lied he got guts i give you that much and he still a kid yea i teach him a trick or two until i get bored" reid nodded hoping that he be a little less bored now with this kid around

And as Subaru picked up unconscious Garfield on his shoulders and brought him back to mansion, he put him in bed and reassured worried looking Federica that Garfield is fine

After a while Garfield woken up and went to look for Subaru and he found him in courtyard playing with spirits after he was done Garfield shouted to Subaru to get his attention

"Oj cap who was that?" Garfield wanted to know

"That is for you to find out if you manage to make him to tell you his name then you know you are strong till then you are just training" Subaru smirked as he seen Garfield eyes finding new goal

Subaru walked up to her and poked at her yet no reaction then he moved her a little yet no reaction he shouted into her ear yet no reaction

He then lifted her head with his hands and made her look into his eyes only to see hallow empty eyes in there he then hugged her and activated his authority of lust hoping it might help a little

He sat there like that for about hour till he finally noticed some movement in her for she slowly moved her head and stared at him

"Meet eva one you once upon the time used to call witch of envy" Subaru declared as everyone got into battle ready stances

"Don't worry as long as your here she can't do anything but I'm not leaving her in this state as well, so it be nice if you don't interrupt" Subaru declared as he is walking towards secluded room that have Subaru name on it a room he grown up in

"Will she be fine" Minerva asked pointing at muttering girl inside Subaru arms

"She more less will be but having all of you staying here do take its own toll on her so that's that" Subaru shrugged as he sighted

Witches looked at one another with confusion

"Visit is fine living is not for eva this is a house that belongs to her and me only and thanks to someone that is really slow you girls end up staying here for far longer then expected that's all there is to it" Subaru shrugged as everyone in room had understanding gaze

"Hope you don't mind that i moved this here" Subaru noted as he placed his hand on crystal as he focused, and soon new clone was laying on the ground

Subaru then placed crystal ball into a hole on original reuzu crystal that soon fused itself with original then he placed new copy or reuzu hand on crystal

"You can do the rest" Subaru stated as both crystal with original reuzu and copy reuzu disappeared in bright light revealing only single reuzu copy standing before him

"Your new name?" Subaru asked with tiled head

And reuzu looked at him "want to give me one?" she responded with tilted head

"How about omega that will do?" Subaru smirked as he looked at nodding loli half-elf who nodded

"Then i keep it" as omega responded

Omega soon found herself leaning on Subaru chest "so you know it's not easy to fix broken family so you will need to try more then once if you want to fix it" Subaru stated as he lifted omega and placed her on his shoulder

Omega was staring at the ground entire time as she was carrier by Subaru on his shoulder like sack of potatoes and soon found herself standing outside in the middle off the forest

"Next time you wish to see Beatrice i recommend you bring some sweets and delicious tea not the tea you are making but better one" Subaru smirked as he tossed camping equipment next to omega and closed the door

And this door soon breaking apart and dissolving now omega found herself in middle of the forest and alone with her friends

Yet omega was staring at spot where door once was "that's Beatrice door crossing" she screamed as she pointed at it

"Weren't it had range limitations and Beatrice haves whaaaat" and so omega now spend next 2 hours holding her head screaming and shouting at the top off her lungs as she was running in circles at stuff she seen in that tower even if it was but a glimpse it was way more than enough to pique her curiosity to ridiculous extent especially Beatrice herself

Subaru walked into room Beatrice should be in and he found her sitting on the pedestal with a book in her hand crying

He walked up to now loli spirit picked her up and took her away from this place as she just cries into his chest all the time, he was petting her head

And soon two found themselves in meting area where Beatrice keeps on crying her eyes out into his chest but after some time she calmed down and got here off his chest nodding her head

"I'm fine now in fact" Beatrice stated as she wanted to run off but was held back by Subaru

"Say how about you and i go to play a little to lighten the mood" Subaru stated as he picked up Beatrice and placed her on his shoulders Beatrice wanted to deny him yet had no will to do so

"You have more than just your mother now right" Subaru soon found himself in mansion as he stated this and pointed toward meiling and petra who were playing around with one another

Beatrice looked at to girls in the distance who were playing and nodded responding with quiet yes

And so, Beatrice and Subaru played around with residents of Roswell mansion for next two days until morning of promised day when tilly and clary should be returning with information on his next target and as soon as he entered fort of mystery again, he found them waiting for him

Subaru looked at two fox girls who where bit scuffed up and with few small injuries all over their body's he gestured them to follow him and soon found himself with two girls in makeshift infirmary

"What happened" Subaru asked as he pulled out bandages and other equipment needed for cleaning one's wounds

"We discovered blood hand head quarters but as you said blood hand is nothing but your topical bandits, so we had to make run for it" Tilly responded in professional manner just as Subaru gestured her to sit down

"What happened to safety first" Subaru asked with expression who was about to give scolding to girls and girls just smiled back at him

"But boss we also found out this night stalker is currently observing entire Martin bedenckos estate i believe they are expecting us" clary responded to Subaru as he raised his eyebrows

"We also discovered that crush brought in group of knights into the town we believe that's what tip them off, so knight's been trying to dismantle blood hand as we speak" Tilly responded

"So, it was not just bandits who are responsible for this?" Subaru questioned as he cleaned Tilly wound on her arm

"Knight's mistaken us for blood hand but after brief investigation they let us go" clary responded at notion

"What are chances for blood hand being dismantled by end off the week?" Subaru questioned as he looked towards clary

Who in turn responded "not likely for entire underground networks are way to used to knight's due to how often they come in to dismantle bait group's as result there's multiple splinters cells and safe houses scattered around the town and knight's at best can take only one at the time so it will take time for them to dismantle blood hand" clary stated just as Subaru begins to clean her wounds as well

"Right and now the fat pig reacting to this entire situation" Subaru asked

"The fat pig as you call him is currently housings and entertaining lady crush for, he is her supporter" Tilly responded, and Subaru huffed

"Of course, he is other then pristella crush is only one that is more less neutral on entire demi-humans equality thing all other candidates are in agreement on this manner and crush herself think its not as pressing issue as problem with soldiers at border so her priorities lie elsewhere and he was once upon the time a soldier himself" Subaru huffed at this but then looked back towards now bandages girls

"I still don't get it why you two are so insistent on me to clean you two up and not just get Beatrice to heal you" Subaru tilted his head and two girls responded in unison

"Because boss hands are gentle, and we don't want to bother lady Beatrice too much" as if two off them practice this answer for a long time

Subaru shaken his head ruffles clary's hair earning a giggle from both off-fox girls

"Right, you two rest up and relax we be striking that town later tonight and i need everyone available if you two are good to go by then you can join if not pass this time" Subaru declared and both fox girls instantly insisted on coming Subaru then gently poked at their arms and legs then sides

"You two don't seem like anything is seriously hurt it's only scratches but just in case go see Beatrice when she is available otherwise you two are not coming understand?" Subaru with commanding tone declared

Both girls responded with cheerful "yes" as they then pulled Subaru towards kitchen and presented thing they where cooking

"As promised, here's boss reward for last time" two fox sisters declared as they brought out mountain of cookies with some tea and small cake

"You two don't expect me to it all do you?" Subaru pointed towards that mountain as he was panicking, and two fox girls were looking sideways as they were smiling from ear to ear

Subaru with a sight started eating them cookies and giving them some as well as he gestured them to sit down next to him not long after Elsa showed up and joined too then marry then reid then Beatrice and meiling with shaula and before long entire fort was there eating away at them cookies especially reid for he was making sure to eat as much as he can so that prick Subaru will have less to chew on

And soon the cookies where no more but Subaru did indeed get his cake but only half for other half was snatched away by Reid who gulped it down in one go and then was staring at Subaru with a big smile

Fox girls how ever pulled out another piece of cake and put it into Subaru mouth as they were showing tiers tongues towards reid who was soo pissed by this that he stormed out and screamed into training area for few minutes then got back and grabbed big barrel of drink and placed it on the table

"I challenge you to a drinking contest" reid declared pointing at Subaru

"I don't drink how about we play this instead" Subaru pointed at the board games on next table and reid reluctantly agreed

And as two begin to play shogi raid didn't lasted long for Subaru was constantly being hand fed cake by fox sister's who where practically climbing on top off him this was pissing reid off even more as result he lost track of the game and lost

He then stormed out back into a training area and shouted to top off his lungs shaking entire tower soon volcanica show up and blew his fire in that general direction

"SHUT THE FUCK UP REID" Subaru screamed just as dragon went back to sleep

And reid walking back towards kitchen "fuck you you prick stop hording all chicks here" reid with a bit off steam coming from him sat down with few barrels next to him

"Should i call Natsumi" Subaru looked at him with devils smile and reid instantly had disgusted look on his face

"You are fucking piece off shit prick that was not funny" reid slammed his fist into the table as his introduction to Natsumi Schwartz was hilarious at first till he noticed who is he talking to, and he was drinking nonstop ever since trying his best to forget.

"Ohh weren't you the one who" Subaru got interrupted as cup fly pass him at light speed making hole behind him

"Shit the fuck up you prick" responded reid with red Subaru soon found himself on the ground rolling as everyone where giggling as well remembering that incident reid was grumbling as he gulped down on barrel itself

This continued to the evening till night come about and soon Subaru now dressed up as natsumi was above town not so far away from crush manor as he looked towards this town from platform made of minyas crystals and suspend in air using murack and few assassins behind him

subaru closed her eyes and summoned Orion to scout out the city he soon noticed several traps made from magic stones as Orion is really good at detecting magical concentrations like magical stones he surveys as much as he could for no more then 5 minutes as Orion is indeed heavy on resources but not so bad if he used for scouting purposes as result Subaru only used up little more then 15% of his total resources, he haves at his disposal at this point in time

"Right, we have traps here there and over there i need you two disarm it and any other traps you might find" natsumi ordered to two fox sister's who instantly jumped off platform and got to work

"Marry take all forces and hit all known safe houses if you find more take them out too then move into brothel Elsa coming with me" natsumi given orders towards everyone and with "yes boss" they soon disappear into the night

Natsumi then stood up and looked towards Elsa with a smile "well then how about we start this show soon" he seen as Elsa was licking her lips with big smile on her face.

In the meantime, crush was inside mansion of lord Martin as she was eating her dinner with lord by end of the table and countless maid's everywhere

"Lady crush are you certain this nefarious criminal will be hitting my town next it's been almost a week" Martin stated as he wiped off some off his sweet

"If my predictions are correct yes until we hear that Natsumi Schwartz hit another town we shall remain here and besides we found small groups of criminals operating here we shall clean them out for you as courtesy" crush stated with noble dignity

"Much appreciated about criminals they keep coming back regardless how much we clear them out" Martin stated even if crush could see there was some lies to his statement she can't act without proof and based on everything she seen there's nothing suspicious about this place same as everywhere else

"This brothel that we hear about on the streets seems to attract a lot of low life's" crush stated

"It's one-off things my population enjoys a lot so i prefer not to close it down it keeps the peace in city" Martin didn't not lie about that for there was a lot off influential people who enjoyed Services of this brothel

"I don't know how to feel about woman selling their own bodies for biggest bidder but it's not illegal so nothing i can do about it" crush stated as she sighted for she hated that idea yet there's nothing she can do about it

"But why haven't you placed some guards there" crush asked

And Martin just responded "because they soon join whatever gang moves in" that too was not a lie for every guard he placed there to save face was already part of some gang

Crush sighted as she continued eating her meals that felt like it was made of paper

But soon doors got opened by force as one soldier ran into the room and fallen to his knees

"Natsumi Schwartz has been sighted inside city there's reports of fighting all around the city" soldiers declared as he given his report

Martin now shitting himself as he was even more sweaty

"Where was she sighted" Crush grabbing her sword and preparing to run off after this criminal

Yet guard had uneasily expression "Everywhere" was only word uneasy guard stated as he was not sure about that himself

"explain" Crush demanded

"Natsumi Schwartz was first seen on top of dragon Chappell at same time at other side of town by time patrols got there she was seen in another two parts of the city appearing and discussing like hollow" soldiers shaking his head for he too was not sure what is going on even if he himself seen it her appearing on roof tops and disappear not long after

This got crush thinking as she wandered but then she run out towards balcony to look herself at roof tops from the manor as it oversees entire city

There she seen in distance like blinking shadows showing up and discussing repeatedly crush looked at one and noticed a pattern she then looked at soldier

"You there go to this building get on this roof and look for anything suspicious" she ordered one off soldier that was on the standby

Who without question run off towards the building.

"Lady crush?" Felix with question gaze asked

"All of them shadows appear only on them building and disappear again but never on other buildings it might be distraction sage warned us about" crush noted as she was looking closely at blinking shadows in the distance Felix too noticed it soon

Martin too soon joined crush so too Wilhelm as everyone was looking at night time city especially at them blinking shadows

Then there was explosion in the distance somewhere outside city bounds

"What is in that direction" Crush stated, and Martin shaken his head

"There should be nothing there at best a cave or something" Martin stated

"Blood hands safe house?" crush tilted her head as she was observing entire situation from the balcony

She then noticed her soldiers' chasing shadows on the roof tops and as soon as they get even remotely close shadow disappear and reaping not far from where they are

"Soldiers on the ground are so focused on shadows they fail to notice it's diversion" crush stated as she ordered messenger to run towards her soldiers to stop chasing shadows for its diversion

Only few minutes later the first soldier that was sent out to investigate one off the building returned and placed on the ground a round object

Felix instantly recognized it "that's communication mirror" he stated as he opened it and see now shadows dancing around in a shape of a woman with her head covered behind vail

"So, this is how that shadows diversion is done she scared them mirrors around the town and make them show up for second and disappear few seconds later creating illusions that she is everywhere" crush nodded for it is clever trick and as she looked back to city she noticed it is indeed effective trick for her soldier are in total disarray running everywhere and finding nothing there and before they can even think it's diversion they are shown another shadow

But as messengers finally get to the soldier's disarray begin to die down

Then it was another explosion in the distance outside the city boundaries and another and another

Soon followed by few more as surrounding of city were getting blown up one by one in rapid succession yet not a single explosion got to city yet

"Are all of them safe houses or is this yet another division?" crush stated as she was contemplating on what's going on

Then she seen a shadow rapidly moving on the roof tops being stricken by volley of arrows as it soon jumped off rooftops and into the streets disappearing from her sight

"That's the real one" crush pointed where she last seen shadow jumping off the rooftops

But she also noticed how fast the target moves about and only thing that can at best chase it is Wilhelm, so she ordered him to give a chase

And soon Wilhelm jumped on his ground dragon and went toward location where shadow was last spotted

Just as more scouts returned with reports "lady crush we believe blood hands safe house had been destroyed as we investigated the explosions, we found bodies of the gang it fist their description's" messenger stated as he was breathing heavily

"Good work soldier" crush given her praises to soldier but noticed one thing information is travelling too slow towards her and from her towards her soldiers and yet Natsumi Schwartz forces already step ahead

"Are they using communication mirrors to coordinate" crush looked back at item found on roof top if this group can get access to so many metias they might be more difficult to target then initially thought even with sages warning seeing it in action is whole lot worse.

Crush then looked at gate that seemingly opened and large numbers of people begin to swarm in towards city centre

"What is that" crush noted

Felix looked at it and he noticed chains on them" slaves i believe they slaves" Felix looking at crush as he told her

Then another massive explosion occurred but this time under the very building she is in

"She is here move out men" crush ordered as she run off towards what she assumed to be catacombs of manor

As crush hastily run down towards sound of explosion and she found herself inside catacombs she noticed the hole inside the wall and behind that hole there was sounds of crying and coughing

She went in to investigate and as soon as her eyes landed on the sight, she seen multiple different demi-humans everywhere and majority of them no older then 10 years old locked in chains strapped towards the wall

And as she slowly begins to walk inside this hidden room she seen half dying and extremely malnourished girls no younger then 13 stripped naked and chained on the bed like contraptions with dried blood on their faces and marks of hits all over their bodies

Crush instantly send Felix to heal them up as she continued to investigate then she seen few dead bodies tossed to the side off demi-human Males as they too where brutality beaten and left to die in corners of this room as they bleed out

As she continued walking in, she seen cells full of people with Empty eyes some where crying others just stared to the walls as each, and everyone had no will to live and was waiting death to claim them

Crush covered her mouth holding in her own puke as she seen rat chewing on dead body of a child in one of cells as rest of residents of that cell didn't even react to it fully accepting their fate to be eaten by same rats who are busy right now with the child

But then loud sound covered entire room as a sound of song being to play and there, she was in the middle of the room playing her instrument Natsumi Schwartz

But before crush seen a lights inside demi-humans eyes returning as they all collectively turned tiers head towards the noise in disbelief

"Have no fear for your fate is not to die here for i shall set you free from this torment" the woman declared as she was playing her instrument

And tears inside demi-humans begin to accumulate as some whispers begin to mutter around them

Natsumi then looked towards crush from behind her vail "and those knights here shall see it through"

Demi-humans shaking tiers head in disbelief and in faint hope as they now beginning to realise who it is what playing before them

Woman then stood up still playing her instrument and making ambient sound

"Take this gift of freedom from me Natsumi Schwartz" and with that woman disappeared inside black cloud

Crush instantly recognized what that was for she too experienced it first hand but before she could get her hand even close towards that black cloud it was already gone

Just as Demi-humans were chanting her name

Crush clicked her tongue as she sends her own soldiers to set them free just as this criminal declared for this is what knights should do

She then went back to see lord of this manor for explanation, but she found him nowhere for he already ran away on his ground dragon

Crush walked up towards one off the guards by the gate leading outside and ordered him to say where lord run off to and guard pointed toward brothel so crush jumped on her own ground dragon and went after it for, she will not let him leave this easily

As crush finally reached the brothel, she felt foot on her shoulder as something just jumped off her own ground dragon

"Thanks for the lift" woman behind her vail declared as she was floating away towards brothel soon disappearing behind corner of the building

Crush was so shocked at this it took her few moments to even realise what happened but once she did, she had expression of predator on her face as she pulled out her sword and ran after that woman

And as soon as crush got behind the corner where Natsumi should be she was greeted by blood hand gang 20 in number all shouting at floating Natsumi. crush had her blade ready but was not sure at who to launch it at first woman in air or grunts on the ground, but it only took her but a moment for she soon launched her wind blade attack towards 20 on the ground taking out majority of then as only few got were lucky to survive

She ready her blade for second time and lunch it at woman who was breaking through the window of the building and her wind blade attack hit sides of the building damaging the building but missing the target crush without wasting a second given chase and ran into a building

Only to be meet with more of blood hand grunts

"Out off my way" Crush shouted as she sliced first grunt in front of her then cast her win blade strike and cut all who where in front of her leaving only few standing

She then ran upstairs towards sound of fighting on the top floor of the building but before she could even get to it sounds stopped and as she got to the top floor, she stopped for entire area was littered with corpses each and everyone of them corpses looked like something come out off them ripping them apart from inside out

Crush now finding herself inside top floor of brothel that was really quiet she ready her blade and move in with caution as she walked to what seemed like office of some sort with multiple dead bodies around it's entrance crush entered that office room and see the lord Martin strapped to a chair shaking his head as his mouth was covered with cloth preventing him from speaking

Crush took few more steps towards Martin who was shaking his head trying to say something yet failing crush took one good look around the room yet there was nothing she cautiously walked in a bit more and soon found herself surround by group of assassins that just appeared out off no where

"That spell blanket, was it? It sure is impressive" crush stated as she looked around all assassins who were standing in circle around her

"Indeed, it is and it was made to mess with powerful spell casters so it do the trick" woman in vail behind lord Martin appeared as she was giggling

"Natsumi Schwartz i take it" crush stated as she was reading herself for combat

"That be me yes but we not here for combat we here for clean-up" Natsumi stated as she was now walking towards widows and looking outside

"Clean up?" crush question her but then a large stack of paperwork was dropped before her

"He was trying to destroy it have a look" Natsumi stated

And crush seeing that combat might be avoided as is not in good position right now because she is surrounded as result, she chooses to take a look at paperwork, and she soon found countless numbers with x marks and y marks

"X marks stand for dead or unusable merchandises y mark stand for good to sell, numbers stand for slaves he is biggest slavers in the area here blood hand gang was but a bait he is real mastermind behind it all" Natsumi stated as crush already had suspicion about this after witnessing that hole in the dungeon

"You where here for how long again?" Natsumi asked as she looked towards crush

And crush bitten her lip gritting her teeth

"Almost a week" crush responded as she clenched her own fist

"Now you see why we do what we do and yet you brand us criminals how ironic" Natsumi stated as she was shaking her head

"Truly you knights are nothing more than waste of space that only care about looking good and not actually doing the work needed to be done" Natsumi stated as she spat

Crush was gritting her teeth "but without knight's the country will be in chaos and attacked by other nations" crush denied her

"You are correct but tell me oh miss Valkyrie how long before they begin to unite and fight for better tomorrow?" Natsumi stated as she pointed into the distance where many freed slaves now swarming the streets and running everywhere

"How long before you knights must fight to kill simple people who are sick and tired from the endless suffering" Natsumi looked back to crush

"Tell me oh noble knight how long before you will be running around spilling blood of the poor people just like you always did" Natsumi spread her arms wide as she declared

Crush had no words to deny her and only thing she could do was grit her teeth

"So, you know there are already whispers in the wind calling to unite under my name some even went as far as to begin worshiping me like goddesses of some sort" Natsumi laughed at absurdity of that finding a small wooden shrine dedicated to you was bit overwhelmed to say the least

"Are you trying to start another war" crush was reading her blade to strike at the woman

"No i am not for the death is not something i like to see" Natsumi shaken her head

And crush narrowed her eyes for there's no lie to this statement

"But it's don't really matter what i want or not for they will eventually unite be it my name some one other it's irrelevant" Natsumi sighted

"Then what one must do?" crush still at the ready to strike the woman at moments notice

"i believe sage is already doing something about that" Natsumi shrugged her shoulders

And at mention of sage crush lowered her sword

"What do you know about him?" crush questioned her

"He and i know one another for long time and he probably already seen the sparks of war coming about and he is tasked to keep this nation from collapsing and i probably have to deal with his endless complaints for making him do more work" Natsumi giggled at this as she or better, yet he was so annoyed that he must play politics with council, but he can't complain too much it's his own fault

"What is relationship between you two" crush wanted to find that out from Natsumi herself

"Someone i tried to kill more times than i care to remember and i try to sneak into his bed a lot it's complicated" Natsumi shrugged at absurdity of his situation and how much he can talk about himself without any lies

Crush shaken her head for she understood relationship between them two is something she will never understand

"What is it that you seek exactly" crush stated just as widow broken and arrow fly straight into lord's hart killing him on spot

With a sight Natsumi looked at the broken window where arrow come about "it seems the conversation will need to end for now as there's still dangers out there" Natsumi stated as she snapped her fingers and got carried out off room like princess by one off assassin just as rest followed and all jumped out off the window

Crush looked at all assassins leaving just like that she instantly realized that arrow was not her doing but if it's not her then who?

Crush walked towards the window and seen all assassins disappearing into the night

"Was there more about this that i missed" crush looked at dead lord who had arrow piercing his hart

And as Natsumi schwarz and its assassins left the brothel she made a door next to some random house and went inside followed by everyone and he closed that door moments later

After door was closed and head count confirmed she took off her vail and sighted

"Well almost the best outcome we could get from this but regardless good work everyone" Subaru stated as he looked at everyone and given his praises

"Boss don't we should chase that night stalker?" Tilly questioned

"Entire city is now swarming with knight's my diversion aren't working any longer chasing him around right now be foolish and probably deadly and I'm not willing to sacrifice you girls for some random low life like that so i take what i can and get out off danger and we did accomplish primary objectives, so all is good" Subaru shrugged as he taken off his wig

Elsa walked up to him and stated "we are assassins that's what we do"

"You are now more then just assassins are you not?" Subaru rebuked as he smirked

Elsa widened her eyes for a moment then sighted "your too soft" she declared with small smile

Subaru shrugged as he looked back to Elsa he then smiled "I better be soft then crazy love obsessed lunatic like you know who" he then seen Elsa nod her head to that as she liked her lips

"Sturdy and soft my how much i want to feel your guts" Elsa now had a look of a woman in love

Subaru looked at her with deadpan expression and shaken his head as he walked off into the bathroom to clean up

And after cleaning up Subaru eventually found himself back inside Roswell mansion and as he sneaks into his bed and attempted to fall asleep, he heard noise from the corner of the room

"You finally returned" Subaru instantly recognized that voice

"Hey rem" he lifted his hand in greeting

"I must ask where you have been?" rem stated as she was looking at him from corner of the room

And Subaru just put his head on the pillow as he responded "was out for a walk"

"Out for a walk?" rem question him

Subaru then begrudgingly got off the bed and looked straight at rem "And why do you wish to know?" he responded with serious voice

Rem had no words to respond with for she has no reason to know she also have no right to question him like this

"I um" rem was fidgeting at that

Rem then think about why and first thing that comes to her mind was her new post

"If i am to be your personal maid i need to know if you will be available or not" rem fidgeting as she stated it

Subaru looked at rem with unreadable expression "Emilia let you be my personal maid?" he asked

"Yes" rem responded

Subaru with massive sight just fallen back to the bed "We shall talk about that in morning for now just let me sleep ok" Subaru stated and rem agreed and as Subaru shortly fallen as sleep rem never left the room for, she was sitting next to him staring at his sleeping face with small smile on her face

And as the morning comes about there was a letter from sage's council delivered to the door urgently summoning sage and the royal candidate to the capital.

But that's a story for another time.

(Author notes: if i don't stop writing i end up with another 100k word chapter that should be avoided i think

Now in this chapter i tried to describe what Natsumi Schwartz normally deal with at same time what are consequences of her actions like demi-humans have huge respect towards this Natsumi Schwartz to a point that someone silly enough end up worshiping her like goddesses due to how fast news of this mysterious woman that appears out of nowhere frees them from torment and vanishes into the shadows travel especially with the great panic still in full swing

As well as Subaru's relationship with rem and Emilia should have some progress soon, I originally wanted to write it on this chapter but got distracted by the well stuff that going on around Subaru so that part will be next chapter i think

Now how do character Night stalker come about well that be due to Rainhard and his divine protections Rainhard in fact have only 2 unique divine protections one is sword saint, and another is blank check basically he can wish for any divine protection and he shall receive it Rainhard as character do not wish for anything that he don't need so that's how he got his arrow avoidance protection because he had a need for it at one time in the past

At the same time Rainhard is extremely reluctant to chase down criminals take a look at loot house incident how he let Elsa go even if there's was no more danger to Emilia and Subaru, he still let her go

At same time gluttony if how rainhard went to investigate destroyed village only to be stopped by a single child as result entire city of pristella got flooded

Simply put Rainhard as character Can't leave people behind unattended even when entire world around him burns to ash so i figured why not introduce character that instilled that type of behaviour on him in first place

So this is one off the characters that might or might not Exist in cannon yet it still fits in re:zero world i will try to flush him or her out in another chapters but best summary of him or her be Ranger Re:zero addition
