AN: Enjoy!

Over the next few days, Viv happily pranced around the House practicing for her play, singing Christmas classics such as 'Jingle Bells' and 'Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer'. While the constant looped Carols grated on Wanda's nerves when she was at work, she found she didn't mind so much when they were being sung by Vivian's sweet voice.

"Mama" the little girl asked her one afternoon, between songs, "Can you teach me any Sokovian Christmas songs?"

"I will teach you after your play, Fata Dulce" Wanda chuckled, gently ruffling her hair. "Just so you don't get any words mixed up."

"Okay" Viv grinned, before skipping off and launching into 'Jingle-Bells' once more.

"Wanda.." Vision raised an eyebrow, looking up from checking his emails, "You are aware that she definitely will not forget asking you that question, aren't you?"

"Oh, I'm very aware" Wanda smiled. "I wouldn't have agreed to teach her if I didn't plan to follow through. She's foarte istet, very clever, and I like teaching her things."

"Vivian is very lucky to have you.." Vision smiled softly, pressing a kiss to Wanda's cheek, before glancing back at his phone.

"I think I'm lucky to have her.." Wanda replied, following Vision's gaze. "Uh, you've been staring at your phone for a while, Vizh.."

"Just checking my emails.." Vision murmured.

"For over an hour? That's not really like you.."

"Well, I.. I'm waiting for an email from the Publishers" Vision blushed.

"You can't be serious.."

"I.."

"Vizh, you only sent those drafts a few days ago" Wanda pointed out, chuckling. "A big company like that probably hasn't even gotten around to looking at it yet. Even when they do, nothing will be decided right away, and staring at your phone won't make it happen any faster.."

"I know" Vision sighed. "I know, it's just.."

"This means a lot to you" Wanda replied, her expression softening, "And you're still anxious about how it's going to go."

"Yes.. very anxious, actually, and.." Vision's ramble was cut off when Wanda kissed him, deeply, her hand curling around the back of his head to pull him closer, fingers toying with the hair at the nape of his neck, and Vision couldn't help but kiss her back.

The kiss was only broken when they both needed air.

"I can't properly distract you right now," Wanda murmured, "Because our daughter is around. But perhaps we can take a raincheck, and I'll take your mind off everything after she goes to bed?"

Somehow, hearing Wanda call Viv 'our daughter' only made him feel even more attracted to her, and though he could not find words, he agreed with an eager nod.

Late that night, when Wanda crawled on top of Vision, carrying him to heights of bliss they had only ever experienced together, Vision quite forgot to feel anxious about anything at all.

Late that night, when Wanda crawled on top of Vision and took him inside her, carrying him to heights of bliss they had only ever experienced together, Vision quite forgot to feel anxious about anything at all.

After, as Wanda slipped back into her nightie, and he into his boxers (they never slept naked in case Viv came in during the night), before curling up in each other's arms, Vision sighed contentedly.

"So, how long until you are officially moved in?"

"Just a couple more boxes" Wanda replied with a smile. "I'll be done before Christmas."

"Wonderful.." Vision grinned, kissing Wanda's forehead. "You belong here, and it's already getting difficult to remember a time when you weren't."

Wanda blushed, curling deeper into his arms.

"That's nice to know.. Goodnight, Vizh. I love you.."

"Si eu te iubesc" said Vision, taking a moment to ensure he was saying the words correctly. "That means 'I love you too', doesn't it?"

"It does.." Wanda smiled softly, blushing deeper. "Thank you."

A few days later, on the day of Viv's School Christmas concert, it was Vision's turn to soothe Wanda's anxieties. After dropping Viv off early for a final rehearsal before the show, Vision returned home to find Wanda biting her lip and staring into the closet, which was now filled with her things as much as his.

"Are you alright, love?" He asked her.

"I don't know what to wear to Viv's concert.." Wanda frowned. "Nothing seems.. Potrivit."

"Po.. poti.?" Vision's brow crinkled, a little confused.

"Appropriate" Wanda translated.

"What do you mean?"

"For a School event" Wanda sighed as she tossed some of the offending garments onto the bed, "I think this skirt is a little too short, and this shirt probably shows off too much cleavage, and these stockings have a hole in them.."

"I like that shirt.. You wore that shirt to the Teddy Bear Picnic" Vision pointed out, even more confused.

"I know. But that was different.."

"How?"

"At the Teddy Bear picnic, I was just a guest, but this time.." She trailed off, as if embarrassed.

"This time what?" Vision asked, his hands gently framing Wanda's face. "You can tell me.."

"This time.. This time I'm there as her Mom" Wanda finished, gazing up at Vision with wide eyes. "So it's different. I'm terrible at first impressions, but I want to try and be better at it, for Viv. So many people will judge a child based on their parents, and I don't want to make things difficult for her. I.."

This time, it was Vision's turn to cut off his beloved's panicked ramblings with a kiss. A sweet, perfect kiss, not at all unlike the very first one that they had shared.

"Forgive my language, dear, but I don't give a rat's arse what anyone else thinks of you.."

"Wha.. Vizh.." she couldn't help laughing at his unexpected bad language.

"I love you, and Vivian loves you" Vision continued. "Hers is the only opinion that really matters. She chose you to be her Mother, and she chose you exactly as you are. You never have to be anything but yourself."

"I know so.." Vision kissed her forehead. "Wear whatever makes you comfortable. And if it helps, I've seen Mothers show up at the school in outfits far worse than anything I've seen you in.."

They both laughed, and Wanda's spirits lifted. She knew the opinion of those who meant the most to her. Nothing else mattered.
