At home, Madison was listening to another of Bernie's podcasts, and had some things set up trying to work out an attack pattern from Godzilla.
"Okay, class, listen up." Bernie said. "In the midst of Godzilla's attack on Apex Pensacola, I found some crazy tech with no official classification."
On her desk, was a sheet with her mother, Emma that died during the Boston attack, 5 years ago. And it was labeled, "Emma Russell - Villain or Savior?", as most would say villain for her being blinded by grieve for 5 years of Andrew's death and wanted to release the Titans to restore balance, ignoring the saying, "Best to let sleeping giants lie" and willingly released Godzilla's ultimate rival, King Ghidorah who tried to use the Titans to destroy the planet.
And Madison was busy on her laptop getting on the website of Titan Truth Podcast.
"What I saw doesn't match any of the engineering specs I've ever seen." Bernie continued.
Madison looked through the site.
"So what are they working on such blackout secrecy, hmm?"
Madison looks through #243.
"This could be the thread that finally unravels the Apex sweater of conspiracy. You better believe I'm gonna keep tugging. For now, I'm secure."
Madison reads through the file saying about Godzilla seems to feed on a bleach-like substance. And noticed 'Chinatown' and 'bleach' among the file.
"Anonymous and hiding in plain sight as I continued my mission."
Madison then heard a honking horn and looked out her window and saw a van driving by with the song, "Breaking The Law" blared out.
"Madison, you in there?!" Koki's voice called out.
Madison looked out the window and got to another window as the van came to a stop near Koki and Jimmy who she called them earlier arrived, and she heads off.
A teenage boy named Josh Valentine opens the driver door as he had dark brown eyes with glasses, dark brown hair and came out as the music stopped and he was a good friend to Madison.
And he got out of the van as Madison appeared.
"To be clear, my brother can never know we took his van." Josh stated knowing his brother would kill him.
"Josh, to be clear, even if we got into an accident, I don't think he could tell." Madison said and took the keys.
"No, no, my brother would never let you drive either." Josh said.
"My mission, my wheel." Madison said.
"I just don't think it's a good idea, looking for some secret weirdo off the internet." Josh said as Madison got into the driver seat. "I mean, we just had an assembly about this."
"He's not a weirdo." Madison said tying her hair. "He's a covert investigator. And he's the only one looking for the truth about Godzilla and Apex." She finished tying her hair into a bun.
"But we don't even know where he could be." Jimmy said.
"So let him look." Josh said. "Why do we have to help him?"
Madison sighed. "Because... If we don't, nobody else will." She then placed the key in the ignition. "Are you coming or not?"
"Obviously I'm coming." Josh gave out.
He tries to open the passenger door as it rattled, but seeing it was locked stuck.
"It's stuck." Josh said.
The engine then revs as Madison starts the van.
"Wait, wait, wait, wait!" Josh said quickly opening the side door and climbs in.
Koki and Jimmy quickly got in at the last second as well as Josh closed the door.
Madison drives the van further down the road as the radio showed a podcast.
"Mind control. Psionic link technology is a reality. That's right. 1 brain controlling another."
"Oh, man." Josh groaned working on something.
"Imagine that a global scale and Apex is invincible."
"We've been listening to this weirdo for hours." Josh said moving up and reaches for the radio.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" Madison exclaimed turning the wheel as the van shifted and the tire screeches.
"OW!" Jimmy yelled as he banged his head against the side of the door.
"Whoa! Knock it off!" Madison said. "Wait, this is the part I was telling you about."
"...need special UV to even know you've been marked! 1 or 2 gallons won't cut it. I need my bleach in bulk! Because spy dust is real, people! I mean, come on, invisible to the naked eye..."
Madison turns off the stereo.
"That's how we find him." Madison informed. "The bleach."
"Bleach?" Josh said.
"He consumes a ton of bleach." Madison said.
"He drinks bleach?" Josh frowned.
"That doesn't shows tasty." Jimmy said.
Madison turns to him. "Showers with it."
"Oh! Yeah, I shower with bleach." Josh said now getting it. "No, what?"
"Prevention against organic tracking technology." Madison explained. "See? Tradecraft."
"Would've made more sense if he just drank it." Josh said.
Madison then whacked the map at him.
They continued driving along the coast.
A Chinese man works at a frying stand as Madison, Josh, Koki and Jimmy were still looking at Josh's patience was running low.
"Come on, just 1 more place." Madison said.
"Madison, this is getting old." Josh said.
They then went up to a stand.
"Hey, you sell bleach?" Madison asked a Chinese man.
The man turns to them. "Is this another one of those Internet challenge things?" He asked. "Because when I sold those kids those detergent pods, I didn't know they were gonna eat them. I'm still dealing with the lawsuits from that."
"Look, we're looking for a guy who works for Apex Cybernetics." Madison explained. "Buys a lot of bleach. Like every night."
"He's probably paranoid, high-strung, doesn't like daylight." Josh said. "You know, has a lot of crumbs in his beard, if he has a beard."
Madison then elbows him in the chest.
"Okay, look, you kids want some candy?" The man asked. "Because I can help you with candy."
"Look at me in the eye." Madison said. "Okay? I need information."
"Yeah, we want lots of candy." Josh said almost losing it and slams a 10 dollar bill on the counter.
The man turns to him.
"What are you doing?" Madison asked taking the dollar. "You think...?"
"Oh, you mean Bernie." The man said taking the dollar. "Yeah, I know that guy. He buys, like, a ton of bleach. I know where he is, too. If you buy a live fish, I'll give you his address."
Later, they were at the address the man told them to go as Madison bangs on the door.
"Bernie?" Madison said.
"Mister..." Bernie said in an odd voice and then cleared his throat. "Mis..."
A thud was heard as Bernie groaned.
"Mister Bernie not home." Bernie said in a deep voice.
"Yep, that was definitely Mister Bernie." Josh said crossing his arms.
"Yeah. Um... Hi! Hi." Madison said turning to a camera above them. "Listen, we wanna talk about Apex and Godzilla."
"No. No. No." Bernie said. "I... I got your faces. I contact authorities. Yes."
"For knocking on a door?" Josh inquired.
Bernie chuckled. "No. No."
"This could last all day." Koki said shaking her head.
"Bernie, you don't trust the authorities." Madison said. "My name is Madison Russell. My father works for Monarch and my mother was..."
The door suddenly opened as Bernie appeared with goggles and lifts them up.
"Emma Russell, right?" Bernie asked.
Towards night, they were at a restaurant.
"Before we go any farther, I got 1 question." Bernie said. "Tap or no tap?"
"No tap." Madison said.
"Excuse me, what is "tap"?" Josh asked not following them.
"Water." Bernie said. "They put fluoride in it. Learned it from the Nazis."
"Theory is it makes you docile, easy to manipulate." Madison said.
"Oh, I drink tap water." Josh said.
"Yeah, I kind of figured that." Bernie said. "But she does the thinking for both of you, so it should be all right."
"Thanks." Josh said.
"Okay." Bernie said. "What you got?"
Madison leaned closer. "I believe Godzilla's most recent attacks haven't been just random. I think he targeted the Apex facility."
"I'm on the same opinion." Bernie said.
"But why?" Madison inquired. "What is Apex up to that's provoking him?"
"Godzilla wouldn't attack us, unless there was something he didn't like." Koki said.
"Look, for 5 years, I embedded myself inside this company, trying to figure out what their game was." Bernie said.
"And, what's going on there?" Koki asked.
"Then, last week... I saw this." Bernie said bringing out a flash-drive. "A manifest of huge cargo being sent from here to Apex headquarters in Hong Kong, which makes no sense because we are not equipped for heavy shipping."
"Then what?" Josh asked.
"And then boom!" Bernie banged his fist on the table. "Godzilla shows up. Caved in half the facility, but I got a sneak peek at some suspicious tech which was hidden in a secret bunker. I mean, some pretty damn suspicious tech."
"Yeah, but what is that?" Josh asked pointing to something.
Bernie glanced down, and pulls out a flask.
"That's, um... That's Katzunari single malt whiskey." Bernie said.
"Yeah, but it's in a gun holster." Josh pointed out.
"It was a gift from my Sara." Bernie explained.
"You have a Sara?" Josh said.
"She was my wife." Bernie said. "Um, passed on."
Bernie then sighed.
"She was my rock." Bernie hands them a journal with a photo of him with Sara. "My truth. I'll tell you something, the day that this goes empty, that's the day you know I've given up."
Madison hands him back his journal.
"Bernie." Madison said. "I think we can help each other."
It got Bernie's interest.
"Okay, I guess now that we're a team, I feel like we should come up with a plan." Josh said.
"We're breaking into Apex." Madison said.
"Wait, what?" Josh said.
"You heard her." Bernie said getting up. "Tap water." He patted his shoulder.
"Shit." Josh complained.
Meanwhile, the fleet of ships continues on heading south across the Pacific.
TASMAN SEA
40.8581 S, 160.4313 E
On the barge, Kong scoops a giant handful into a large pile of fish as he groans, and brought the fish into his mouth. And chews as fish chunks fell from his mouth and grunts contentedly as shows a light smile.
Nearby, Chris, Martin and Aviva watched.
"Guess no one ever show Kong about sushi." Martin said.
"Well, good source of protein." Chris said.
"Hope the fish bones won't bother him." Aviva said.
Inside a room, Jia was coloring a drawing of a flower.
And then Ilene came into the room and sat down by her smiling and looked at the drawing.
"Hey." Ilene said lightly touching Jia's head.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Ilene signed. "You know I've been trying to communicate with him. To understand."
"Kong didn't want you to know." Jia signed. "He was afraid."
"Now, everyone knows." Ilene signed.
Jia hung her head down and continues her coloring as Ilene kissed her knee.
Outside, Nathan was in a room looking at a photograph of him and his brother together.
Ilene then appeared and brought him a mug of coffee.
"Thank you." Nathan said.
Ilene then sat down as Chris, Martin and Aviva appeared.
"How is she?" Nathan asked.
"Calm." Ilene said. "So calm, it's scary." She chuckled.
"That was extraordinary." Nathan said.
"What happened last night, was completely amazing." Chris said. "I mean, don't get us wrong, we've heard of apes able to use sign. But that was on a different scale."
"I have been signing the alphabet." Ilene explained. "Basic commons. I thought that he showed recognition, but he never..."
"Do you have any idea how long they've been communicating?" Nathan asked.
"No." Ilene said. "I knew that they had a bond. He trusts her. Without her, he'd be tearing the ship apart. You know, Jia's parents were killed on the island. When the storm took over the island, it wiped out the native people. But Kong saved her. She had nowhere to go. So I made a promise, then and there, to protect her. And I think that in some way, he did the same."
"Do you think he would take directions from her?" Nathan asked.
"No." Ilene said shaking her head.
"If we have someone who can keep the reins on Kong..." Nathan said.
"Yeah, no one can keep the reins on Kong." Ilene said. "And she's a child."
In her room, Jia was playing around the Kong doll she made.
But then, she stopped and looked as if she was listening for something as a distant, muffled pulsing was heard.
Jia turns to a wall, and reaches her right hand and placed it on the wall.
Then a muffled groaning of a honking bellow was heard.
Jia's eyes widen with sheer horror and fear.
Jia then quickly rushed off.
"I know Jia is only a child." Nathan said as Ilene turns to him. "But she's the only one he'll communicate with."
Jia wanders through the hall trying to find Ilene.
"And we need Kong to find that power source."
"The world needs him." Nathan said.
Ilene stared at him as then an alarm blared and muffled moaning was heard.
Crew members then hurried off as they followed.
Jia passes through a kitchen as crew members rushed around as indistinct shouting fills the hall.
Soon, Jia saw them as she signs to Ilene.
"What's she saying?" Nathan asked.
"Godzilla." Ilene said.
"Oh, I was afraid this might still happen." Chris said.
Outside, Kong roared as he tries to break the chains off him as he knows well what was coming.
And he bangs right fist on the barge.
In the captain's quarter's, urgent chatter fills the rooms as Kong grunts and metal clangs as the room shook as Ilene, Jia, Nathan, Chris, Martin and Aviva entered.
"Did we change course?" Ilene asked.
"No." Wilcox said. "We're nowhere near the areas you flagged."
"Maybe since Godzilla had no fear of competition, he can venture out of his usual patrol routes every now and then." Chris said.
"Well, it looks like he's coming for us anyway." Nathan said as the radar screen showed a blimp.
"He's not coming for us." Ilene said.
"It's Kong he's after." Martin said.
"Him?" Maia said. "Then dump him. Dump the monkey!"
"How about we throw you off instead, huh?" Ilene warned.
Kong roars as he pulls on his chains trying to break free as his jostling shakes the barge.
"We have to release him." Ilene said.
"If we lose Kong, the mission is over." Nathan said.
"He's a sitting duck out there." Ilene said. "We have to let him protect himself. And us."
Then weapons were heard firing as they looked outside.
Outside, one of the destroyer ships fired the main cannons as Kong covered his ears from the shots and roars out.
The destroyer ships continued firing, and ahead of the fleet, the shots flew through the air as dorsal plates went under as they hit the water. And Godzilla swims underneath the surface.
At the barge, everyone held on as the room shook.
Godzilla heads to the surface as his dorsal plates sailed over the water as he charges towards a destroyer ship.
And then, his dorsal plates sliced through the ship's hull like a hot knife through butter. Splitting the ship in 2 and broke in half as explosions plumes from the hull.
Kong roared as he continues pulling on his chains.
Then 2 Lockheed Martin F-35s flew by as Kong watched them as they flew out heading towards Godzilla.
The fighter jets soon near Godzilla as one fired 2 missiles as they struck his back as well as another missile from a second jet.
Godzilla felt that and groans in irritation.
One of the jets circle around, and then suddenly Godzilla's tail lifts up towards him as the pilot only screamed as the jet hits the tail and explodes.
2 destroyer ships fired at Godzilla's tail as it swings back down slamming against 2 destroyers taking them out like toys.
Explosions hit the water as Godzilla twirled through the water, and an anchor on a destroyer got caught on one of his plates on his tail as the bow of the ship was pulled with him as 2 men were pulled out of the hull as Godzilla swims off with the ship's bow in tow.
On the barge, Kong continues pulling on the chains trying to break free as he roars loudly.
Some distance away, the destroyer's bow rose out of the water and was closing in fast on the barge.
Kong soon saw the bow coming at him and lets out a high-pitched roar.
Underwater, Godzilla roars as he charges towards the ship.
In the captain's quarters, Jia got to Ilene as she opened a door to a closet and got in as well as Ilene as she closed the door.
Outside, Kong watches the destroyer's hull got closer as it then dives down and soon vanished from view in the depths.
Staring down at the water, Kong then roars out loudly. Then suddenly, Godzilla launches himself like a breaching whale hitting the side of the ship as he roared.
2 crew members screamed as they were knocked off their feet as well as a shipping container, as well as the Tortuga as it was knocked to it's side. Kong held onto the barge as the ship capsized and Kong struggled to hold on.
In the captain's quarters, everyone screamed as they were tossed aside as Kong hits the water and the ship flips completely over. Kong struggled but manages to stick his head out of the water and growls taking a deep breath and went under.
The nearby destroyer ships fired at Godzilla as he groans in pain.
In the capsized barge's captain quarters, Nathan surfaced as water pours into the flooding room.
"Oh, my God, Jia!" Ilene said as they were still in the closet as water pours in. "Nathan?"
Ilene jostled the handle to open the door, but found it was stuck.
The destroyers continued firing at Godzilla as he slams down into the water diving.
In the flooding captain's quarters, Nathan looked through a window and saw Kong upside-down still pulling on the chains as shipping containers sank.
Nathan then dove under and swam to the controls.
Kong continues pulling on the chains as Godzilla swims towards him like a shark stalking a seal.
Aviva soon saw him coming.
"He's coming at right us." Aviva said. "He's gonna tear this ship apart."
Nathan swam over to the controls and got to the panel holding Kong's chains. And grabs the lever as then Kong lets out a muffled roar and Nathan let out a muffled yell as he pulls the lever hard as the panel's screen showed, "UNLOCKED".
The shackles released Kong as he sank down, and Godzilla charges at him as Kong caught him and holds his head back. Then Godzilla manages to bite down on Kong's right hand drawing blood as Kong quickly caught Godzilla's left hand swinging at him. And Kong held both of Godzilla's wrists as they both snarled and Godzilla snapped trying to get him. And then Kong slams his head hard against Godzilla's and kicks him back as Kong reaches the surface.
The barge was then pulled back upright, and Kong growled as he then pulls himself out of the water.
In the captain's quarters, everyone started to get up as an alarm beeped. And Maia got up and got to a desk and coughed up a mouthful of water.
Outside, Kong stood up as water pours down from him as he reaches for his collar and grabs it. And then growled as he pulls it, and then the collar snaps as he broke it off. And Kong roars out loudly and pounds his chest.
In the captain's quarters, Nathan was struggling to open the door Ilene and Jia were in.
"What is it with stuck doors and flooding ships?!" Martin said helping Nathan with the door.
Then the door finally opened as Jia and Ilene came out from the room as Maia helped Jia up.
"You okay?" Chris asked.
Outside, Kong moans as he watches Godzilla's dorsal plates heading off as he begins to circle back. Then, Kong noticed one of the aircraft carriers nearby and a destroyer ship between it and the barge.
Kong then roars as he rushed off, and everyone watched as he then leaps off the barge. Kong then lands on the destroyer damaging it, and leaps off it.
In the captains quarters, Jia, Nathan, Ilene, Maia, Chris, Martin and Aviva watched.
"What's he doing?" Aviva said.
Kong falls through the air nearing the carrier, and he lands on the carrier deck on a Lockheed Martin F-35 as it explodes and Kong lightly growled. Then the carrier ship started tipping upward from Kong's weight as other jets were tipped over on their side.
One pilot however was in a jet ready to take off, and the catapult launches the jet forward as Kong roared and the jet takes into the air. And soon the carrier's bow hits the water.
Godzilla's dorsal plates sailed over the water towards the carrier as Kong stood up and roars out loudly.
Underwater, Godzilla roared as he heads for the carrier.
Kong looked down, and then reaches down for a Lockheed Martin F-35 with a pilot in it, and grabs it in his right hand. And then stood up and then roared as he throws the jet towards Godzilla.
With not enough to start the engine, or straighten the jet, the pilot was forced to ejected out of the jet.
The pilot's parachute deploys out as the jet falls through the air, and hits Godzilla's back as it exploded.
Underwater, Godzilla dove down nears the carrier's bow and then lunges upward.
Godzilla lunges out of the water like a crocodile hauling itself on the riverbank roaring and grapples the carrier deck as he hauls himself out of the water. His left arm takes out 3 jets as they exploded as his right hand claws the deck as he then gets to his feet and stood up roaring turning to Kong.
Kong then then growled swinging his right fist towards Godzilla as he approached, and Kong's fist pounds Godzilla in the face as it sounded like a booming sound as Godzilla was knocked back as Kong hits the deck creating an impact wave through the water. And the damaged destroyer still operational fires at Godzilla. Godzilla then turns back to Kong, and then roars as Kong stood up and Godzilla swats his right hand at Kong's face as he was knocked back and fell on his back hitting the jets as Godzilla stumbled a bit as his dorsal plates flashed blue.
Godzilla prepares to fire when then an explosion hits his back and he screeches in pain as a few jets flew by. Then Godzilla swung his tail taking out a passing jet as parts of it flew by.
Kong moaned as he soon recovered, and Godzilla lunges forward as Kong quickly struck his right fist at Godzilla's face knocking him back. Kong quickly got to his feet as Godzilla was about to attack, Kong then shoves him as Godzilla roared as he falls off the carrier hitting the water.
Godzilla sank down through a large plume of bubbles, and soon straightens as a pulsating grew and his tail swings as the pulsating throbs through the water.
On the carrier deck, a bright blue glow grew as Kong looks down at it and knocks a jet off the side. Kong knew what was to happen, and quickly turns to flee.
Underwater, Godzilla fires an Atomic Blast upwards as a school of fish swam off.
Kong quickly leaps off the deck as the blast stream struck the carrier's bow and shot straight high into the air. And Kong fell into the water.
In the barge's captain's quarters, everyone watched in silence as the light from the blast soon vanished.
In the water, Kong sank down as he started to swim as then Godzilla came charging at him roaring.
Godzilla grapples Kong as they started fighting as jets sank by them, and damaged carrier sank down passing them as Kong's back knocks the tower off as the ship sank further down into the depths.
Kong manages to knock Godzilla back, and then kicks him in the face as he started making a break for the surface as he swam. Kong quickly swam as a light from an explosion casted Godzilla as he lunges at him and held him as he wraps his tail around Kong and started pulling him down.
On the barge, they knew he was in trouble.
"He needs our help." Ilene said. "There must be some way to disorient Godzilla. Depth charges."
Wilcox then works on the controls as a buzzer was sounded.
"Godzilla, we are really, really sorry for this." Chris said.
On a destroyer, an army of depth charges were launched into the air.
They soon hit the water as fish swam off, and they sank down towards the Puysegur Trench that reaches 20,700 feet down.
Kong snarled was he was still caught in Godzilla's tail as he tries to pull free of his grip. He tried slamming his left elbow against Godzilla's tail as it had no affect, and Godzilla continues diving further down into the trench and roared.
Kong then growled as he weakens, and yells as he was close to drowning.
On the surface, a white circle formed by a destroyer with a muffled explosion.
Then an explosion plume of water rose into the air after the depth charges went off.
On the barge, everyone waited as they remained quiet.
The ocean was still as then a shape appeared, and then rising out of the water was Kong's left hand as it then slams down hard on the barge as crew members flee. And Kong rose out of the water and then retches and coughs up a large amount of water and coughs and then rolls onto his back completely exhausted.
Some distance away, in the flaming waters, Godzilla's dorsal plates rose up after recovering.
"He's circling back." Nathan said.
"This won't end until one of them submits." Ilene said.
Kong groans softly as he weakly lies his head back.
"Shut it down." Nathan said.
"What?" Ilene frowned.
"All of it." Nathan said. "Guns, engines. Shut it down. Right now."
"If we do that, we're dead." Wilcox said.
"No, we're playing dead." Nathan said.
"And we're making him think that he's won." Ilene said.
"At least for now in this situation." Chris said looking out the window.
Wilcox then grabs a mic as it whines.
"Cut the power." Wilcox ordered. "Cut the engines. Kill anything that makes a noise."
The controls were quickly worked on as the lights went off, and the destroyer ships as well. And soon, the barge's propellers stopped as well as the power shuts down as silence descends.
"This better work." Wilcox said to Nathan.
Nathan and everyone else looked through the windows.
At the patches of fire in the water, Godzilla soon stopped and rose up with his head out and narrows his eyes.
Kong lays motionless glaring at Godzilla and softly growls not to give himself away.
Godzilla glared at the convey, and soon thinking he has won for now, Godzilla turns away and dove down as flames continue to burn as smoke billows. Looking like the aftermath of the attack of Pearl Harbor, or any other scene from World War II.
Kong continues to lay still all exhausted.
Ilene was soon relieved and nodded.
"Phew. Guess he bought it for now." Aviva said.
Jia soon looks out through the window and waves out as Kong turns to her.
"Thank you." Jia signed. "Friend."
Maia watched as Kong moans weakly.
"Okay, so what do we do, now?" Chris asked.
"As soon as we move, he'll be back." Ilene said. "How are we supposed to get the rest of the way?"
They remained silent for a few moments, and then Nathan looked he had an idea.
"How's Kong with heights?" Nathan asked.
Ilene turns to him.
"What?" Martin blinked.

That carrier fight is definitely one of the favorite moments. And when I first saw the trailer, I was wonder if Kong can swim.
You know, not enough shots were shown of the Legendary Godzilla swimming underwater in the last 2 films.
And yesterday, I have seen the new MLP: A New Generation film on Netflix, Izzy definitely seems like the Unicorn version of Pinkie, and Zipp a lot like Rainbow Dash in a few ways.
And I have seen the Law and Order: Organized Crime Season 2, and the former Chicago P.D. star in question that appeared, was...
