AN: Enjoy!
After they were done with their drinks and their cake, Vision, ever the perfect gentleman, helped Wanda carry her bags to her car.
"Viv is going to a sleepover tonight" Vision told her along the way, "And she is not expecting to return home until sometime Tomorrow evening. So, I thought perhaps I could stay at your place after grief group tonight, and I'll drive you to Nate's party tomorrow? If that is okay with you, of course. If you would rather I.."
"It's okay" Wanda chuckled, kissing his cheek. "You're welcome to stay. And thanks, again, for the talk. You're really saving me a lot lately."
"It is my pleasure" Vision replied, blushing. "Besides, it is always wonderful talking to you."
"Thank you.." Now it was Wanda's turn to blush. "So, I'll see you tonight, then?"
"Yes, see you tonight" Vision gave her a final quick kiss, before heading to his own car.
As Wanda drove home, she couldn't help a smile spreading over her face.
Unfortunately, when she had reached home, and her mind began working overtime once again, as it tended to do at some rather inconvenient times nowadays, Wanda began to feel rather, well, stressed. Because, she had suddenly realised, she hadn't ever taken a man home to meet the Bartons before.
On some level, a part of her had always known that none of her previous partners were good enough to meet her family, and she also knew that Clint didn't have it in him to be civil to someone who wasn't good enough for her.
But.. Vision was different. He was good enough.. Maybe even too good. And that was stressful, because for one, apart from being exclusive, she wasn't even entirely certain what she and Vision were to each other. Two, she wasn't sure how Clint would react, and three.. Wanda was rather afraid that she herself was going to mess something up.
She tried to keep these thoughts out of her head at Grief Group, but it was clear that something was bothering her. Vision noticed it, and in fact, her stress was so visible on her face that Sam even asked her if she had something she wanted to say, even though the last time she'd said anything in this group was her unfortunate donut tantrum. Wanda shook her head and assured Sam that she had nothing she wanted or needed to say.
However, while Wanda could quite easily dodge Sam's concern, there was no dodging Vision.
"Wanda" He asked, slightly concerned, as he returned to the table with their usual order of donuts, "I thought you were feeling better after our talk this afternoon, but now you seem a little well.."
"Tense?" Wanda sighed, taking a pink iced donut and taking a large bite. "Stressed?"
"Yes" Vision nodded, taking a yellow donut for himself. "What's wrong? Is there a problem with Nate's present? I'm sure if we get up early Tomorrow we'll have just enough time to exchange.."
"It's not that" Wanda managed a smile for him. "The present is perfect, thank you again. It's just.."
"What?" He prompted gently.
"Well.. I don't know." Wanda didn't want to burden him. Vision had enough to worry about in his own life without taking on any more of her problems as well. "A few things.."
She took a second donut, blushing when her fingers brushed against Vision's as he reached to do the same. However, as they each finished the second helping of their weekly treat, Vision closed the box, and said:
"Perhaps we should take the rest of these to go.."
"Okay.." said Wanda, a little confused. "Why?"
"Because you should not need to feel stressed or tense any longer than you need, and in my experience, a nice long soak in a warm bath is a good way to relieve such tension" said Vision, standing with the donut box in one hand, and offering his other hand to Wanda. "Do you have bath salts at home?"
"I don't think so" Wanda took Vision's hand, letting him pull her to her feet.
"Well, we will stop and fetch some on the way back.."
"Okay.."
On the way back to Wanda's apartment, Vision stopped briefly at an All-Night pharmacy to buy some rose-scented bath salts, and once they had made it home, he left Wanda seated on her couch and headed into the bathroom to run a bath for her.
Wanda had to admit, she felt a little better already. It was nice, being looked after. She had almost forgotten how that felt.
"Your bath is ready, Wanda" said Vision as he exited the bathroom, "So you can go soak for a while, and I'll just.."
"Join me?" asked Wanda cheekily, shedding her shirt and reaching for the clasp of her bra.
Vision, even though he had seen Wanda naked at least once a week for a few months now, blushed furiously.
"Well.. yes.. Alright.. If you, um, want me to.."
Wanda simply smirked, heading for the bathroom, shedding more clothes as she went.
Soon, there was a trail of both of their clothes leading from Wanda's living room to the bathroom, and Wanda was sitting in the bath with Vision behind her, his arms around her, and her head leaning back against his chest.
"Thanks, Vizh.." She sighed contentedly, letting the smell of the scented bath salts fill her nose. "This really is helping."
"Good. I am glad" Vision kissed Wanda's shoulder. "Perhaps, now you are feeling more relaxed, you might be more able to tell me what was bothering you earlier."
Wanda chuckled softly, blushing a little.
"You're really getting to know me well, aren't you?"
"I like to think so."
"I'm just.. I'm a little worried about Tomorrow. Clint can be a little, well.. overprotective."
"Well," said Vision, "I can promise you that I am the kind of man who will be on his best behaviour when meeting his Girlfriend's Father."
"It's not your behaviour I'm worried about Vizh, it's his" She paused, tilting her head back to look up at him. "I.. I'm your Girlfriend?"
"Um, well.." Vision blushed, suddenly quite flustered. "I.. I suppose so, if you wanted to be.. If not, you can just forget I said.."
"No" She smiled softly. "I don't need to forget you said it.." She shifted, turning in his arms so she could kiss him, and smirked when something else 'shifted' between his legs as she did so. "And you know, if I am your Girlfriend, then you are my Boyfriend, and there is another way you can help me relieve a bit of tension.."
"Oh?" Vision's breath caught. "W-What would that be?"
"Well.." Wanda shifted again so that she was facing him, her legs locking around his waist, and one hand sliding down his body to wrap around his length and tug him to full-hardness.
"I s-see. Well, I'm sure I can be of service.." His hand moved to cup one of Wanda's breasts, as his hips bucked slightly against her hand..
"I was hoping you'd say that.." Wanda's own breath caught as she dipped her head to kiss him deeply.
When Vision touched her, he was always so gentle, or at least started out that way until she urged him for more. He made her feel like she was special, precious.. Loved, although that was a word they had still not said aloud. Once she had him standing at full attention, Wanda sank onto him, and Vision moaned into her mouth.
He was not greatly experienced in matters of sex, apart from a few awkward fumblings as a teenager, the twins' Mother, and occasionally others, though they were few and far between. But with Wanda, he didn't feel inexperienced at all. Somehow, with her, he knew exactly what to do, exactly how to make her feel good. Vision made love to Wanda as though he had been doing it forever, and an increasingly large part of him wished that he could, in fact, do it forever.
Wanda rocked her hips against him, and Vision bucked in return, meeting each of her movements with one of his own. He pulled his lips away from hers to pepper kisses over more of her bare skin, her neck, her shoulder, her collarbone, her chest. Took the nipple not being tended to by his hand into his mouth and firmly suckled.
Wanda moaned as he did so. She moved her hips a little faster, her nails digging into his shoulders. Vision groaned at the slight pain now mixed with his growing pleasure, increasing his own pace to match Wanda's.
The bathwater sloshed around them, some of it spilling over the edge of the tub, but neither one really noticed or cared, too lost in each other. Vision revelled in the sounds of pleasure he drew from Wanda's throat, as she enjoyed the moans and gasps that came from him in return.
They could read each other quite easily now, each of them knowing the telltale signs that the other was close. The more erratic movements of Vision's hips, the higher pitch of Wanda's cries.
Wanda came, her face buried against Vision's shoulder, and he soon followed with a cry of her name. He clutched her to him quite tightly, fingers running gently through her damp hair, and Wanda felt wonderfully safe in his arms, more than she had in quite a long while.
"Are you feeling more relaxed now?" He asked her.
"I am" She smiled softly. "Thank you.."
"So.. you think your Foster Father won't like me?" He sounded genuinely concerned.
"Actually.." Wanda blushed, lifting her head to look at him, "I'm maybe more worried that he will actually like you, and I'll have to disappoint him if I mess things up with us.."
"I don't think you have to worry about that" He gently touched her cheek. "There's not much you could do that would scare me away."
"Oh really?"
"Really" Vision nodded. "Having said that, my presence at the party tomorrow was supposed to make things easier for you, not more difficult. So, if you would rather not introduce me as a Boyfriend yet, that is perfectly okay. I am happy to remain just a friend for the day."
"You are absolutely the sweetest guy that I have ever met" Wanda chuckled, leaning into his touch. "Do you mind if I take the night to think about it?"
"Of course not."
"Good.." Wanda kissed him again, happy to remain lost in their own perfect world for a little while longer.
