A reptilian eye opens as 2 Zuniceratops were seen reflecting from it's eye.

A pair of Apatosaurus walked uphill by a pond with a pouring waterfall.

They were the most extraordinary creatures ever to walk the land.

Elsewhere, a pair of Stegosaurus were by a few trees as one lightly roared.

In the forest, a Coelophysis wanders around.

In a large clearing, an Anatotitan made a honking sound.

2 Apatosaurus feed on bushes.

Some were huge...

In a grove of trees, a teenage Tyrannosaurus growled as it eyes on prey.

...some were terrifying...

2 Dilophosaurus fought each other.

A Ceratosaurus roars out.

...and some were downright bizarre.

In the air, a Quetzalcoatlus soars through the air.

In a forest, a Nothronychus browses by a tree.

At a dried-up riverbed, a mother Dryosaurus and her 2 offspring looked around.

But they all had 1 thing in common...

At a clearing, a herd of Triceratops grazes on the ground plants as a youngster rolls on it's back.

They lived in our own backyards.

In the forest, a pack of Syntarsus moved through the underbrush.

A lone Anatotitan ran for it's live and honks in distress.

In the forest, a pair of male Zuniceratops fight each as they roared a trumpeting sound.

A pair of Camarasaurus wandered as one nears a tree to feed.

In the forest, a Dromaeosaur shrieks out.

A Dilophosaurus lightly growled as it swallowed a piece of meat with blood covering it's lips.

A herd of Triceratops stood shoulder-to-shoulder as they roared.

An Anatotitan grazes as some herd members rested.

A pack of Syntarus corner an Anchisaurus.

A trio of Allosaurus lunged at a fallen Apatosaurus on it's side.

Now journey back to a time when the world was as a jungle primeval and dinosaurs roamed America.

A teenage Tyrannosaurus roars out.

A herd of Apatosaurus marched as one bellowed as they made loud footsteps.

WHEN
DINOSAURS ROAMED
WILD AMERICA

Close to morning, the Statue of Liberty stood in New York City's waterway.

New York City

In the busy city, a police siren was heard through it's many buildings. Including the 1,250 foot tall Empire State Building that's been standing since 1931, and the One World Trade Center at 1,776 feet in which since 2014, and stands where once the Twin Towers stood till the attack on September 11, 2001.

Towards morning, cars drove down on either side of the Brooklyn Bridge.

Taxis and others cars and buses drove through it's streets by the dozens as people walked through it's sidewalks by the thousands as 8.4 million live in the city alone. And everyone went about their lives as usual as traffickers guided cars, people riding bikes, others heading to work and many more.

To most New Yorkers, the hustle and bustle of downtown Manhattan is where the action is.

But 225 million years ago, this was no-man's land.

Smacked in the middle of nowhere.

At a hidden area of Central Park, the Wild Kratts Tortuga HQ stands by a clearing. It was one of those days where there was no trouble in the world, and they decided to do a little sightseeing in New York City, including in it's Museum of Natural History. They always enjoyed seeing the exhibits of animal models and skeletons of extinct species that vanished long before man appeared, including the skeletons of dinosaurs.

Like many people, they always wondered what it would have been like to see these amazing creatures alive.

In the HQ room, everyone was relaxing and doing their own thing. Koki was reading on her tablet, Jimmy was polishing his controller, and Chris and Martin were on the electron table in the middle of a Creature Power Disc trade as they had a dozen of their own discs out.

"Okay, how bout this?" Martin said. "I'll make you an offer you can't refuse. I'll trade ya this one, for that one." He held out his Marlin Power Disc, and gestured to Chris' Great White Shark Power Disc.

"Heck, no!" Chris denied. "The Great White Shark Torpedo Swimming Power is like my favorite one. You'd still have to give me about 5 Creature Power Discs for this baby."

"Say, has anyone seen Aviva?" Jimmy asked. "I haven't seen her all morning."

"Hmm." Koki frowned and turned to Aviva's invention station was empty without Aviva. "Now that you mentioned it, me neither."

"Where is she, anyway?" Martin asked.

"Last time I saw her, she went down to the garage." Chris said.

"Maybe she was working on something must've fallen asleep down there." Koki said.

In the garage, Aviva was busy working on something as she had a headlamp on checking the interior. And has been working all night nonstop.

"Hmm." Aviva examined carefully. "Electrical system and wiring all good."

She then closed it and checks the underside making sure everything is operational.

"Looks like it's already to go." Aviva said.

"Aviva?" Koki's voice was suddenly heard.

Aviva was caught by surprise by that as she accidentally banged her head against it.

"Ow!" Aviva said and rubbed her head.

She then got out from underneath and grabs her CreaturePod.

"Yes, Koki?" Aviva said.

"Where are you?" Koki asked. "We haven't seen you all morning."

"Oh, I was, uh, working on something." Aviva said.

"What is it?" Martin asked.

"Um... I can't tell you just yet." Aviva said. "I gotta finish on these last details and triple check everything. Gotta go, by!"

"Wait-" Chris said.

Aviva then hangs up.

"Phew." Aviva sighed in relief. "At least they didn't see it."

She then begins to check on the project again.

In the HQ room, the others were confused by their friend's behavior.

"That was weird." Jimmy said.

"I wonder what she's working on?" Chris said.

"Might as well wait till she's ready." Koki said.

Towards midday, the Wild Kratts has just finished lunch though Jimmy had to teleport Aviva's to the garage since she was still busy down there.

"Anyone else getting an itch of what Aviva is doing down there?" Martin asked.

"Not just you." Chris said.

Down in the garage, Aviva had just finished triple checking everything on the something.

"Okay, everything is all go." Aviva said. "Yes!"

Then knocking was heard from outside the door.

"Aviva, what's going on in there?" Chris asked.

"Um..." Aviva quickly panicked a bit.

She then covered it with a tarp, and unlocks the door as everyone was there.

"Um, um, hey guys." Aviva greeted and laughed nervously a bit.

"Okay, what's wrong?" Koki asked with a suspicious look.

"Nothing." Aviva said.

"What's that under that tarp?" Martin asked noticing the tarp covering something.

"What tarp?" Aviva asked pretending not to know.

"Something's under it isn't?" Chris asked.

"No!" Aviva denied. "I mean... I'll let you know when it's ready, now get!" She pushed everyone and closed the door.

She then sighed.

"Okay, that was weird." Jimmy said.

An hour later, they were in the HQ room, and then Aviva finally came out of the garage.

"Well, about time you came out." Koki said.

"Okay, what's going on?" Martin asked.

"Everyone, I have a huge surprise." Aviva said.

"What is it?" Jimmy asked.

"It's- Oh!" Aviva then tensed.

She then peaked outside a window and looked around, and then checked the sunroof as well as if she was expecting something.

"Okay, first before I say it." Aviva said. "Jimmy, put the Tortuga on lockdown."

"What, why?" Jimmy asked.

"Just do it." Aviva said.

"Okay, okay." Jimmy said.

He then heads to the cockpit, and placed the Tortuga in Lockdown Mode.

"Koki, where's Zach?" Aviva asked.

"Uh..." Koki frowned and went to her station checking on Zach's position. "Zach's location is shown at his building."

"Are you sure?" Aviva asked as if she didn't want to take a chance.

"Yes. I even hacked into his camera system." Koki said.

Her computer screen then showed Zach laying on a lounger, and a Zachbot next to him serving him a drink.

"Okay, good." Aviva said. "Any Spy-bots in the area?"

Koki then checked the radar.

"Not one detected." Koki said.

"Good." Aviva said. "Now. Everyone, I have a special announcement to make that all of you will really enjoy."

"Let me guess: more pudding?" Chris said with a deadpan look.

"Yes- Wait, no!" Aviva quickly said. "Why would you think that?"

"Aviva, the last time you announce something great, it was a recipe for pudding cups." Martin said.

"I didn't want to ruin the surprise." Aviva said.

"Oh, really?" Chris said with a slightly annoyed look. "Me and Martin were stuck getting our tails kicked by an Ostrich trying to get the paper."

"But you got it." Aviva remarked.

"Yeah, but you acted as if your whole life was depending on it." Martin retorted. "Stretch was using us like soccer balls."

"I said I was sorry." Aviva said.

"Can we talk about how annoyed you 2 were later?!" Koki said. "You were saying, Aviva?"

"Anyway, I was up all night making sure everything was ready." Aviva said. "And it's something that is really mind-blowing."

Aviva then worked on a dashboard on the electron table, and then it lowers down and then brought up a familiar electric trampoline.

Chris, Martin, Koki and Jimmy were then jaw-dropped stun as Koki's tablets slipped from her grip.

"Y-Y-You... I..." Chris stuttered completely broken.

"Uh-huh." Aviva confirmed with a nod.

"THE TIME TRAMPOLINE!" They all yelled.

"Yep! Fully repaired and improved!" Aviva said.

"Yeah!" Chris and Martin cheered. "WHOO-HOO!"

They need hugged her. "THANK YOU! THANK YOU!"

"Guys. Loosen... the grip!" Aviva said strained as if she was being squeezed by a Green Anaconda.

"Oh, sorry." Martin said as they released her.

"So that's why you were making sure Zach wasn't spying on us." Jimmy said.

"Yeah, after with the Tasmanian Tigers, there was no way I'm gonna let Zach try again with this one." Aviva said. "Now then, when and where should we go this time? I've upgrade it to say... 300 million years back in time."

"300 million years?!" Chris and Martin exclaimed in unison.

"We gotta figure out what creature to see!" Chris said.

They then zoomed to the big screen.

"Woolly Mammoth?" Martin said as a Woolly Mammoth appeared on the screen. "Smilodon?"

"Uh, Megalodon?" Chris said bringing up an image of a Megalodon.

"GAH! It's even more impossible to think!" Martin said.

"Okay, okay, hang on!" Aviva said and brought out the mobile trampoline. "220 million years back in time."

The Time Trampoline then activates, and extends, the brothers were about to jump on it when suddenly the Trampoline suddenly powers out.

"Huh?" Chris frowned.

"What happened?" Martin asked. "What's going on?"

"What the- I made sure everything was ready!" Aviva said lifting the Trampoline up and checking the wiring. "Jimmy, could you take the Tortuga off Lockdown Mode."

"Okay." Jimmy said.

Soon, the Tortuga was out of Lockdown Mode.

"Are you sure you didn't missed something?" Koki asked.

"I tripled checked everything!" Aviva said. "It took forever for me to get it ready. It should work!"

Aviva then angrily groaned and kicks an empty orange Sunkist soda can Jimmy left on the floor. And it flew across the room, and lands on a book angled up tossing Martin's CreaturePod into the air as they all watched it. The CreaturePod then hits the branch of the tree, and fell and hits a broom handle as it fell and sends a soccer ball rolling by fast as the Wild Kratts watched it.

The ball then rolls into the cockpit, and then hits a chair. And then a hatch opens as a slice of pizza dangles down from a string that Koki recently added incase Jimmy needed to be woken up. And then the slice started to slip from the string, and was directly over the ignition with the master key in it.

The Wild Kratts stared with baffled looks unsure what will happened.

Then a few moments later, the pizza slice slipped through, and then lands on the dashboard and slid off and turns the key.

A moment later, the Tortuga's engine starts up as then suddenly the Time Trampoline powers up completely. But then looked it was being overcharged.

"What is it doing?" Jimmy asked getting nervous.

"Aviva, was this suppose to happen?" Chris asked.

"No." Aviva answered. "It never acted like that."

Then the Trampoline has electrical lines as everyone took cover, and watched as unknowingly to all of them, one of the main wires of the Trampoline was actually crossed with the Tortuga's engine.

And then the Tortuga got into hover mode on it's own, and then suddenly takes off flying as everyone screamed as they held on.

Soon, the Tortuga was clear away from New York and flew over the Atlantic as it then started to gain altitude and gained speed.

"What's going on?!" Chris yelled.

"I don't know!" Aviva yelled.

"WE'RE GONNA DIE!" Jimmy screamed.

The Tortuga was soon going the speed of sound as it made a sonic boom, and within seconds it reaches 32,000 feet. And soon, the Tortuga reached the outer edge of the Earth's atmosphere as then electrical lines appeared around the Tortuga as it flew. And the mobile device was still set to 220 million B.C.

And then, the Tortuga suddenly vanished with a bright flash.

Author's Note:

Now I'm not entirely sure when the Time Trampoline will return, but this can be one of several ideas when it does.

The first time I can remember seeing When Dinosaurs Roamed America was probably when I was 2 possibly, I was so little back then. The TV was at the part when it was showing at South Dakota when it was showing the Edmontosaurus/Anatotitans, just before the introduction of the T. Rex.

Anyway, it's also one of my favorite dinosaur documentaries, and who knew John Goodman who be great for a narrator for it.

Oh, you may noticed a little reference from a certain Wild Kratts Season 1 episode. since this year marks 10 years for Wild Kratts.

Also, today marks 25 years of 1996 film, Independence Day.
