AN: Enjoy!
At Monica's urging, Wanda prepared for her night out with Vision. However, she still felt a little concerned.
"Are you sure this is a good idea, Vizh?" Wanda called to her husband as she was doing her make-up.
Well, kind of. As Wanda hadn't been going anywhere special, she didn't currently own any make-up, so instead, she was using her magic to try out a few different looks. As dangerous as she was now aware her powers could be, she didn't really like using them for trivial things, so made a note to pick up some actual make-up on her next shopping trip.
"It was your idea to call Monica, my love" Vision pointed out as he got himself dressed. "But, if you do not trust her to care for our children.."
"It's not that" Wanda frowned. "Funnily enough, given our history, Monica Rambeau is one of only a few people in the world I actually do still trust."
"Your history?"
"It's.. complicated" Wanda turned to him, sighing. "Let's just say that when Westview happened, Monica kept trying to help me long after nearly everyone else involved decided I was the bad guy."
"Then I like her very much" Vision took a step closer, pulling her into his arms. "But, if not Monica, then what is bothering you, my love?"
"It's just.. We've never left the boys before. Now we're suddenly leaving overnight? What if they think we've abandoned them or something?"
"That will not happen" Vision chuckled, kissing the top of her head. "Tommy and Billy are very clever for their age. We'll tell them we'll be back first thing in the morning, and they will understand."
"I know" Wanda smiled softly at him. "And I know this night out for our Anniversary means a lot to you."
"It does."
"Let's finish getting ready to go then" She grinned, and Vision's eyes lit up in response.
"Of course."
Later, as she and Vision headed out the door, Wanda gave Monica a rather long list of instructions.
"They ate before you got here, but they still like milk at night. Usually I still nurse, but there's a few bottles of pumped milk you can warm up.. Just warm, not too hot.."
"Got it" Monica nodded.
"Billy's usually pretty calm, but under no circumstances can you take your eyes off Tommy when he's on the change table. He's a wriggler.."
"Right.."
"They usually sleep through the night now, but sometimes they'll wake up and want a cuddle, or a change.."
"Mmhm."
"Help yourself to anything in the fridge" Wanda continued, as Vision steered her towards the door. "And if you need anything, I've left my number, and the number of the restaurant, and the Hotel.."
"Wanda" Monica chuckled, a twin in each arm, "Relax. Everything is going to be fine."
"I know.. Just.. being a Mom, I guess.." Wanda blushed, pausing to kiss each twin on the head. "Be good for Monica, boys."
"Yes, be good" Vision mirrored Wanda's actions. "And Monica, thank you, again. This means a lot to us."
"You're welcome," Monica smiled. "Now you two go have fun, I'll hold down the fort here until you get back.."
A short while later, Wanda and Vision were sitting in a rather nice restaurant in the nearest town to where their remote cabin was located. They hadn't wanted to travel too far away, in case Monica or the twins were to need them. Vision wore his human disguise, and Wanda had utilised a simple spell to cloak her identity from anyone she did not want to recognise her.
Not being able to eat himself, Vision had ordered a dish he knew Wanda would like, and shovelled portions of it onto his wife's plate when no-one was looking, until it appeared as though an appropriate amount had been eaten.
Wanda couldn't help giggling a little, her eyes twinkling. Vision's heart fluttered, as enamoured by her as he had always been.
"You were right, Vizh" Wanda reached across the table to hold his hand after she'd finished her meal and part of his.
"Hmm?" He had become slightly distracted by then, simply watching her. "Right about what?"
"This" Wanda smiled. "That we deserved a night out to celebrate our anniversary properly. As much as I love our boys, it is nice to have some time to ourselves."
"It really is," Vision grinned, lifting her hand to his mouth and kissing her fingers. "Would you like to order a dessert?"
"I think, after eating my own meal plus three quarters of yours, I'm a little too full for dessert."
"Oh.."
"But.." Wanda smirked, the twinkle in her green eyes turning to one of pure mischief, "If we head back to the hotel, we could have a different kind of dessert."
"From room service?"
Wanda chuckled at her adorable, innocent idiot, her eyes darkening a little.
"No."
It took Vision another few moments to catch on, but once he had, he almost fell out of his chair in his haste to call the Waiter.
"Check please!"
Wanda loved her sons. Vision loved them too. Both adored them, in were the centre of their universe.
But, there were definitely advantages to letting their bundles of joy be cared for by someone else for a while.
Like Vision having the time to explore Wanda's body with his hands and his lips, to map out her smooth pale skin, playing join the dots with her freckles.
And Wanda knew there was no need to rush when she flipped her husband onto his back, straddling his hips and sinking onto him, rocking her hips in long, slow, almost lazy strokes. No need to race to the finish before they were interrupted.
They didn't need to keep it down, lest they wake the babies. For tonight, there were no babies to wake.
Vision did not bite his lip to hold back his moans, and Wanda made no effort to quiet the sounds of her own pleasure as they grew louder and higher, mingling gorgeously with the sound of her name spilling from her husband's lips, almost like a prayer.
Vision sat up when he felt Wanda tense, close to her release, not to kiss her into silence as she came, as he would usually have to, but so he could watch her more easily, look into her eyes in the moments before she found her pleasure, throwing her head back and screaming his name to the heavens, before he followed her moments later with a strangled cry and a jerk of his hips.
Soon after, they lay happily tangled together, still nude, Wanda on the verge of slipping into a sleep that, for the first time in months, she knew would not be interrupted.
"Wanda.." Vision murmured, gently toying with her hair.
"Mmhm?" Wanda mumbled, only half awake.
"Do you think we can ask Monica to babysit again soon?"
"Hmm.." Wanda smiled sleepily, before letting herself drift off, "I hope so.."
