Author has written 4 stories for Pokémon, Fate/stay night, Persona Series, Kantai Collection, and Girls' Frontline/少女前线.
Personal Status Update: Still around, but life's a bit hectic right now for obvious reasons. Added Discord to my profile for those of you it concerns. (09/06/2020)
Just your average recent college grad who probably spends too much of his time lurking on sites rather than joining them. If the job search isn't kicking me around, then I usually spend a good portion of my time either reading stories here on FF, writing my own stuff, or playing something over either my Steam, PS4, or Switch. If you're a gamer looking for friends, don't be shy about sending me a request, I'm usually pretty open to making new friends. Spend a good deal of time hanging out over on Spacebattles, too.
FFN's PM system has stopped giving me notifications as of late though, so Discord is ModernSkyF4U#3327 if you want a more prompt response from my side.
If you want to know more, well... not really sure why you would quite frankly. I'm honestly a pretty boring person.
Used to have an old account on this site somewhere down the line. Been a few years since then, and I've lost the account details, but that's probably for the best if I remember what my first stories were like when I originally started out.
Anyway, kind of slipped into lurking since then, but decided recently to try my hand again at writing a story or two. We'll see how it goes. Here's a list of the fandoms you might see focused on in a story by me:
Pokémon
I was a pretty fervent Amourshipper back in the day if that wasn't already obvious. Don't browse the archives much anymore due to the sheer amount of, well to be blunt, trash revenge fics that have seemingly flooded this site, but I occasionally find myself drawn back whenever I feel like catching up on the latest updates of Ashes from the Past. Really, this is simply nothing more than a nostalgic series from my childhood, but I occasionally find some really good stories for it here on the site.
Fate/Stay Night
Made the mistake once of downloading the visual novel in what feels like a lifetime ago now. Been obsessed with it ever since. I adore Shirou as a protagonist, and I can't tell which route's development for him I enjoy the most. It's for that fact that I've always seen an abundance of potential in his character. You don't need to write an AU in which he develops differently. That's already canon.
Kantai Collection
Now this was a bit of an odd one. I usually ignore series like this on normal occasions, as I usually prefer a more diverse cast than just a bunch of cute girls doing cute things, but I've always been fascinated by WWII concepts, and somehow I've found myself oddly attached to this series. Ended up even writing something for it after some thought as you'll see below.
Persona
I have no idea why this series took me so long to discover. Best excuse I can come up with would be that I was too young to play it when it was featured on more common consoles, and I've never owned a handheld before my 3DS, which restricted me from playing a lot of their more recent titles. Persona 5 was my first and, for a time, only foray into the series, and by the time I finished Atlus could count themselves yet another fan willing to keep up with them long into the future. I love stories that focus on the bonds between characters (one of the main appeals I find in harem fics, if you're willing to look past all the common filth) and with Persona being built from the ground up from that premise, it doesn't surprise me at all I couldn't resist writing a fic for it. Now that I've played Persona 3 over an emulator, and touched on Persona 4 thanks to its Steam release, my only regret is that it took me as long as it did to become a member of this community.
Azur Lane
Out of a fit of boredom I downloaded this one when I found the gameplay for KanColle sorely lacking to my tastes, back when it was still a new thing over on JP, believe it or not. It isn't a perfect experience by any means, but I love it regardless of its faults. It's emphasis on customizing the appearances of your favorite characters, rather than emptying your bank account just to get said characters in the first place, has ensnared me as a long time fan. That, as well as all of my white-haired shipgirls in port.
Girl's Frontline
Once you enter the anthropomorphism rabbit hole, it's impossible to climb back out it seems. The idea of mixing history, girls, and guns grabbed me just as hard as the warships did, and when I saw the announcement of a global server back in January of 2018, I followed the news on that thing weekly up until the official release that followed in May. Imagine my surprise when unlike KC or AL, in addition to the cute girls, this one also had a healthy dose of lore to follow and a story to tell. It was at this point I began to accept that I'd become something of a gacha addict. No regrets, though. My little terminator can't be this cute.
Stories that I'm currently working on:
An Ocean's Sword
Not too much to be said about this one. What you see is what you get. Shirou begins summoning shipgirls. A fallen god begins contracting with abyssals, who's developed a growing interest in the Holy Grail. A little girl who watches over it all with unknown intentions, who's obviously much more than she seems. Oh, and should I mention the unsubtle harem plot? That last one isn't the most original, is it?
A Thief Among Heroes
The results of a thought that struck me when the final boss of Persona 5 revealed himself, and from there on the idea just kind of took care of itself. A question of what could happen if the Grail took action for itself after the events of the game, a certain attendant shows up on our protagonist's doorstep, Akira begins summoning servants to fight the distortions of the Metaverse, and the world needs saving once more.
A Doll's Inner Demons
Another "Minato wakes up in another world after sacrificing himself" story, with a bit of a twist. In this new world that he finds himself, the Fall has (seemingly) already occurred, and androids have taken the place of humans in every role ranging from waitresses to mine workers and even the front lines of war. After growing close to one of these androids, he's convinced into becoming a commander for the PMC that owns her, and from there, the usual shenanigans ensue.
As a side note, I'm a terrible artist, so any artwork found on my account most definitely isn't mine and belong to their respective authors. Hopefully no one has a problem with that.
