An image was visible from a blanket of darkness as a wall appeared.

And then a spark flew up.

into the depths of the sea."

It was a calm quiet day over the great the Atlantic Ocean as several clouds float motionless in the sky.

Suddenly a bright flash appeared, and then everything flashed white as then 6 large objects flew over the ocean as the clouds were then blew away from a shockwave of something.

Then the water at the horizon rose as dozens of small gray flying objects flew fleeing from a colossal tsunami at least a mile high.

The gray objects were actually stoned vehicles carved into the shape of a hammerhead shark called Aktirak. And flying in them were a group of people called Atlanteans as they flee from the wave.

"You fool!" An Atlantean yelled to another. "You've destroyed us all!"

"The wave is gaining!" Another Atlantean yelled. "We have to warn Atlantis!"

"Too late!" A 3rd Atlantean yelled.

Traveling at almost the speed of sound, the wave washes over most of the Aktirak fleet and all the 6 large lobster-like creatures that looked more like the ancient Eurypterids, which were sea scorpions that were around long before Man, or even the dinosaurs, from a time called the Ordovician, 450 million years ago. So far back, that not even plants have evolved.

The remaining members of the Aktirak fleet quickly reached land as they quickly flew through a gully and near a few structures as they quickly flew towards the main city of Atlantis as the fleet flew towards it as then a great shadow forms over the city.

At a tower, an Atlantean saw the Aktirak fleet rushing by as the sky grew dark, and then looks out and saw the tsunami as it grew in size as it reaches the shallows and begins to crest.

"Everyone to the shelters!" He called out through a pipe. "Everyone to the shelters!"

Lightning flashed as a red light casted over the city, and then 2 Atlantean Monks rang a large bell as it gongs.

Soon, everyone in the city ran for their lives as they hurried to the shelters.

"This way your highness." An Atlantean guard said to the king and queen. "Quickly!"

"Kida, come on!" The queen said to their daughter.

They hurried off to the shelters as Kida accidentally dropped her doll as she tries to reach it as her mother urgently pulls her to safety.

"Kida! Just leave it!" Her mother said. "There's no time!"

Then, a red beam of light shined over the queen as she turns and looks up as it turned blue. And then her necklace with a crystal floated upward as her eyes flashed blue.

Close by, Kashekim soon saw what was happening as everyone fled as 2 other beams of blue light formed with the other. And soon joined into one.

Kida hasn't truly noticed what was happening, and then her mother started floating upward as her right hand slipped her from wrist. And taking a bracelet from her.

It was then that Kida saw what was happening.

"Mahtim!" Kida cried in Atlantean.

Kida watched as her mother floated higher towards 10 carved stones with carved faces spinning as they surrounded a ball of energy. And then the energy source flashed brightly like a star as Kida dropped to her knees.

"Mahtim!" Kida cried.

Atlanteans hurried into the city as giant statues spread their arms out with a wall of energy as Aktiraks and other stoned vehicles hurried into the city before being blocked. The energy source of the statues soon start to form an energized dome.

One Atlantean desperately bangs his fist on the dome, and then turns towards the rushing wave.

The tsunami soon starts to crest as Atlanteans fled for their lives as some were loves ones as they held each other.

Within the main city, Kida continues staring up to where her mother vanished into the orb.

"Mahtim!" Kida cried.

Then her father quickly rushed over to her and held her.

"Close your eyes Kida!" Kashekim said. "Look away!"

The carved stones spun faster as they were a blur, and the energized dome finished forming.

Outside the dome, it appeared to be descending as an orange glow flashed around the dome's perimeter. And then the tsunami washes down and over the city as lightning flashed.

Soon, a cloud of smoke vanished as the flood waters soon calmed as a flash was seen in the water.

Soon, the ocean became still as if nothing happened.

As well as Disney's Dinosaur, Atlantis: The Lost Empire was something I watched all the time when I was a kid.

I think one of my favorite things in the film is the Ulysses submarine. As well as the soundtrack, which like Dinosaur, was made by James Newton Howard.
