UPDATES!!

I'M BACK!! January 3rd 2019

Yeah, my very long...like year long...hiatus is over. I'm back for writing! I've been back for a little more than a month. Well, back writing for a month. I was still around reading and replying to the occasionally review, but you know what I mean. Got big plans! And maybe more ideas and more stories and I'm excited! Whoo!

Hi world! My name is FrostedDragonHeart, because I love the character Jack Frost and dragons, and so I kinda combined the two and put a heart at the end! XD

ATTENTION READERS!

I just wanted to say something I find really important. You all come to take the time to read my work, something I pour my heart into, but something that has mistakes from time to time along the way. Sometimes that's spelling or grammar, or something comes across a little OOC. I wanted you to know that it is completely fine, and encouraged, by me to point out these errors and notify me! I am human. We all are. We are not perfect. And I read my updates, as I'm sure most authors do, what feels like...hundreds of times before uploading. Eventually, it gets to the point where I just can't read it anymore, as some of you may know. I'll fix what I can, but I'm sure I'll leave a few mistakes. And there will be times I upload a story/chapter that may have a few things about the characters I don't really like all that much, and so you may not agree with some of the things they do. THAT IS OKAY! My duty as an author is to provide you with an upload that is as clean and presentable as possible, but I'm prone to mistakes. We all are. You are allowed to point out those mistakes. I know what it is like to be a reader. Most mistakes can be overlooked, but if the grammar or spelling gets so bad that you can't even look past that to enjoy the story, then that's a problem. Please! Please, please, please do not be shy to let me know if that happens. If you know any tips about how to fix a grammar/spelling error you notice I continuously make, let me know! You deserve to enjoy what you're reading as fully as possible, and I take no offense to it when you correct me. You only serve to further my writing skills and help me to improve. As long as it is constructive criticism, I am more than open to receiving your critiques. :)

Icy Drabbles (a short-ish explanation)

Hello and welcome to my little hole in the wall within this wonderful website know as FanFiction: Icy Drabbles.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story, I’m sure that there are a lot, and probably, better stories out there that you could have chosen. So thanks for looking at mine!

So, here is a little summary of what Icy Drabbles is about.

First of all, it’s a collection of drabbles, (well, typically the stories are a bit longer than the normal 100 characters a traditional drabble consist of, but I liked how the name sounded XD), centering around my favorite winter spirit, Jack Frost! The stories will take place over various time periods throughout Jacks life, pre-movie and post-movie type stuff. There will also be varying themes, from angst, to comfort, to family, so on, and so forth. Pretty much anything that pops into my head when it comes to Jack. I will also keep the rating at a T, because I may decide to swear of have blood in some of the stories. No particular order and no pairings! Why? Because I think of too many stories that happen at different points in time for there to be any order, and because I’m not good at writing romance and I’d rather stick with the canon parings in my stories for now.

Also, more than likely, I won’t be doing any OC. At least, none that will become a huge part of the stories. Like, I’m not going to make up my own Seasonal Spirits, mainly because I have already accepted the Seasonal Spirits, that MugetsuPipefox wrote, as canon in my heart…I literally cannot think of anyone but Lleu, May, and Ceres when it comes to the other Season’s. So, because of that, I cannot come up with my own Seasonal’s! But that’s okay, because I absolutely love the characters owned by MugetsuPipefox, and I definitely suggest reading her collections of one-shots and drabbles: Miles To Go Before I Sleep. It is fantastic!

Updates are very irregular now, I know and I'm sorry :'( I'm tying to get my life together! I promise DX

I AM NOW ACCEPTING REQUEST!!! YAY!!! I'M KIND OF EXCITED! PRETTY MUCH, MY ONLY THING IS THAT I DON'T DO PAIRINGS. SO...NO ROMANCE. BUT I THINK WE'RE ALL GOOD EXCEPT FOR THAT! IF SOMETHING COMES UP OR CHANGES, I'LL BE SURE TO LET YOU KNOW!

Platonically Kills You

This is a Supernatural one-shot/two-shot for the ship Destiel. Lots of angst and heart break and I'm sorry. The fantastic geminalupus has written the second part entitled Platonically Kills You Part Two, and is told form Cas' POV while mine is told from Dean's. We are likely going to continue this, so stay tuned! We've already started planning and we will stick with the theme where she will write the chapters form Cas' POV and I will write Dean's! We've got a lot planned!

The Grasp of Winter

My new Rise of the Guardian's FanFic, that has been heavily inspired by all the slave!Jack fic's I have read, but with the most influence coming from write that wrong's trilogy. It is my favorite slave!Jack story, and I highly suggest reading it! Just go to her page to find it!

However! My story basically goes through the movie, and re-writes it as a "what if Pitch had captured Jack and forced him to help him take over the world" sort of thing. Yes, this is a pretty popular theme, but I thought I'd throw my own version into the mix! I really hope you like it! I'm super excited for this one guy's, because, unlike my first RotG story, this one has one continuous plot line. It's not a collection of Drabbles and One-shots, and not open to request. (But don't worry my dears! Icy Drabbles is still an ongoing project, so feel free to send me your request there)

Anyway! I really hope you enjoy this story should you decide to read it! Thank you for any support!

Wannabe Romance (formally Lingering)

My first Spideypool Fanfic! Spideypool has been my OTP for a very long time now, and I'm so excited for this story. This is something that I'm writing for myself and is also really good practice for writing romance, which I suck at. But I believe that I'm very in-tuned with these two characters. I think I really understand them. I've been watching and reading Spider-Man comics since I was very young and Deadpool is my latest obsession! So, I really hope I'll do this well and actually get some good fluffy romance in there and not just angst and hurt.

THIS STORY IS OPEN TO REQUEST AND PROMPT IDEAS! I would love to take your story ideas and run with them! If you have them, let me know and I will do my best to do your headcannons justice :)

Also, the stories title, Wannabe Romance, has a couple of reasons behind it. One, "Wannabe" comes from the Spice Girls song, which struck a home run with me when I read a fic where Wade was just jamming to it with no shame. Also, this story is supposed to be romantic from time to time, so it's a "Wannabe Romance" and hopefully it "will be" romantic at some point, haha. But that was my little pun that I wanted to share :)
