AN: Enjoy!

After a final check of all his systems, Shuri gave Vision a clean bill of health, and arranged to get them home the next day, so long as they didn't mind sharing their flight with Monica and Maria.

Wanda spent the rest of the day showing Vision more pictures of the twins, from their birth through to the present day, and answered all his questions about them. Their personalities, their favourite things.

"Well, Tommy's a bit of a handful.. always on the go" Wanda chuckled. "He loves his little trampoline, which I got mostly to stop him from jumping on his bed, and anything that goes fast, like his Hot Wheels cars. He's a lot like Pietro in that way, I suppose. He also really wants a Nerf gun, but he's not allowed yet, so don't let him trick you."

"I won't.." Vision chuckled softly, turning another page in one of the photo albums Wanda had given him, full of pictures of the twins when they were just babies. "And Billy?"

"He's not quite as rough-and-tumble as his brother. He likes magic tricks, and being read to, and he loves music" Wanda smiled softly. "Clint gave both of the boys little Xylophones when they turned two. Tommy always just banged away at the thing, like little kids do. But Billy.. he took more time with it. He realised each key actually made a different sound. He liked that, and he still plays with it sometimes."

Vision looked back to the album. The boys were a little bigger, nearing a year old, and although Wanda was still smiling in the pictures, it was getting a little more difficult for her to hold both babies at once. He frowned.

"I'm sorry you were alone for so long.."

"I wasn't alone" Wanda took his hand. "I had Clint, and Natasha.." She trailed off sadly for a moment at the thought of her lost friend. "And the boys, of course. My little pieces of you.."

"Me?" He sounded almost confused.

"You're their Father, Vizh" Wanda reminded him, laughing softly. "You've always been part of them. Always will be. Tommy sounds like you when he laughs, and Billy looks like you when he smiles. That kept me going, when I thought you were gone.. knowing that you lived on in our children."

"You kept me going, I think.."

"Hmm?" Now it was Wanda's turn to be confused.

"Well, as I said, everything was dark.. I felt lost, and more than a little bit broken" Vision began. "And, most of the time, it seemed very easy to stay lost. But sometimes.. Only sometimes.. There was this tiny little flicker of light, and I knew there was something.. Someone, I wanted to get back to. And I tried, but it never really worked, and just exhausted whatever little energy I saved up. Trying became harder, until.." He looked at their joined hands.

"I held your hand.."

"I believe that's what it was. And I.. I somehow knew that if I could just hold on a little longer, everything would be alright. The next thing I remember is opening my eyes and seeing you, Wanda.." He cupped her cheek with his free hand, gazing into her eyes. "You brought me home.."

"I did.."

Wanda's soft green eyes gazed back into Vision's bright blue ones, and she leaned into his touch. She knew she'd missed it, but it wasn't until this moment that she realised exactly how much. Then Vision was kissing her, first softly, and then deeper, more passionate, the kind of kiss that was never meant to be just a kiss, and Wanda briefly found herself wondering if maybe she should stop him, except that she really didn't want to, and so instead she kissed him back, and he pulled her closer.

They remained that way for a while, kissing in the garden, hands beginning to wander a little, until the photo album slipped from Vision's lap into the grass below, jolting the pair back to Earth, and Vision hurriedly retrieved it, wiping the pages clean. He looked at Wanda, her cheeks now slightly flushed, and his own cheeks darkened, especially when he noticed a few Dora Milaje stationed around the garden giving them sly looks.

"Perhaps we should, um.."

"Get out of the Sun?" Wanda suggested, gathering up the rest of the albums. "It does get quite warm here in Wakanda.."

"Out of the Sun" Vision nodded. "Yes, exactly."

They headed back to Wanda's room, setting the albums safely on the bedside table, and then they were kissing again, each of them exploring the other's mouth, committing every tiny detail to memory. How warm Vision's lips were, how Wanda always tasted wonderfully sweet.

So much was the same as it had always been, but as Vision pulled her almost impossibly closer, his forever perfect vibranium muscles pressing into her soft curves, and his fingertips slipped beneath her shirt, dancing teasingly over the skin of her abdomen, she was reminded that some things had in fact changed in the five years since his not-quite-death.

Vision noticed the sudden change in Wanda's demeanour, pulling away slightly.

"I'm sorry, Wanda" He seemed concerned. "Is this too much, too fast? I.."

"You know, I should really be asking you those questions" She chuckled softly, hoping that he would be comforted by the sound. "But no, it's nothing you're doing wrong. I've dreamed about this, about you, I don't even know how many times. But.."

"But what?" Vision asked gently.

"Five years is a long time, at least for humans" said Wanda softly. You're the same as you were, but I feel like I have to warn you, I might be a little different. I carried twins and breastfed them for nearly two years, there are stretchmarks, and things have.."

"Wanda.." He shook his head, gazing at her with a gentle expression. "I don't care about any of that.. You are beautiful, always, and all those things you just mentioned only make you moreso, because they are the signs that you carried and cared for something precious. If you do not want to go any further now, we do not have to. But never, ever fear that I would reject you for how you look. It is the person you are inside that I fell in love with."

"In that case.." Wanda's eyes sparkled as she pulled Vision back to her, guiding his hand back to its earlier position and leaning up to press kisses to his neck, "Where were we?"

"Mmm.." Vision tilted his head. "Are you sure?"

"Well, I would have been willing to wait as long as you needed, but if you don't feel like you want to wait, I see no reason to. We're going home to two four-year olds tomorrow, Vizh. If not now, who knows when we'll get another chance.."

"That is a rather good point.."

"I thought you'd think so.." Wanda kissed him again, gently nudging him to sit on the bed before straddling his lap.

She was only a little bit shy as she let Vision undress her, but soon she wasn't shy at all, because he was looking at Wanda like she was special, and beautiful, and perfect, kissing all the marks and scars and blemishes that might have made her feel less so. Once Vision had phased out of his clothes, Wanda sank onto him, wincing slightly.

"Are you alright?" He asked, concerned. "I'm not hurting you?"

"No" Wanda replied with a shaky breath, giving herself a moment to adjust before starting to move, slowly. "It's just been a while.. Last time I did this would have been when we conceived the twins.."

"The night we should have stayed in bed.." Vision's breath caught.

"Exactly.."

They moved together, gazing into one another's eyes. Being together like this was like coming home, they moved in perfect sync, fit together like they belonged, because they did, forever and always.

So happily tangled up in each other, after so long apart, they had all but forgotten that they were not alone in this place, that they could be heard. The world had shrunk to just the two of them.

Vision was too occupied with suckling at Wanda's neck, just hard enough to leave a mark, revelling in the soft moans that escaped her throat as he worked to tell the world that he was home, and she was his.

Wanda did not have the space in her mind to focus on anything but the quickened rocking of her hips, the feel of Vision's lips on her skin, the pleasure building in her, about to boil over.

When she threw her head back, crying out as her orgasm took hold, Vision made no effort to kiss her into silence or otherwise quiet her, but when he followed her over the edge into blissful release, he muffled his own cry of pleasure by burying his face in the crook of Wanda's neck, having always been a little shyer about his pleasure than hers.

Wanda held him close, her breathing still shaky, a part of her afraid that he might suddenly disappear.

"Wanda.." Vision slowly lifted his head to look at her, "Are you alright, love?"

"Mmhm" She pressed a soft kiss to his lips. "Just making sure you can't go anywhere.."

"Never" He promised, holding her close. "Never again.."

Why would he? She had no friends to meet, he had no trains or planes to catch. There were no more promises to keep, except those they had made to each other.

The next day, Wanda packed up her things, and she and Vision boarded the jet home with Maria and Monica. Throughout the trip, Vision clutched a picture of the twins, the very first one that Wanda had shown him. As they dropped the Rambeaus at S.W.O.R.D HQ, and the jet flew onward to the Barton farm, Vision grew increasingly nervous. The nerves reached their peak when the Jet landed not far from the farmhouse.

"How do I look?" He asked Wanda, helping her carry her things from the Jet as they disembarked.

"You look fine, Vizh" She replied with a smile, waving as the jet departed.

"Are you sure? What if I frighten them?" Vision panicked a little. "The boys have never seen a.."

"Vision, Tommy and Billy have been looking at pictures of you since they were born" Wanda kissed his cheek. "You are everywhere in our house, I made sure of that."

"You did?"

"Of course, I wanted them to know you.. I understand why you are nervous, Vision, but the boys will love you. Trust me."

"If you're sure.." He still seemed uncertain.

"Of course I am" She gave his hand a comforting squeeze. "I'll go get them, okay?"

"Alright.." Vision waited by Wanda's suitcase as she headed up to the door, knocked and was let inside.

He paced nervously, hearing the excited squeals of children inside the house, and continued doing so, until Wanda emerged from the farmhouse, a twin dangling from each hand.

Tommy spotted Vision first, and immediately pulled away from Wanda, racing towards him, startling Vision slightly when he barreled into his legs, throwing his small arms around his legs as far as they would go, and grinning up at him, the most ado.

"Hiya, Daddy! I'm Tommy."

Vision's heart swelled, and he scooped his son into his arms, immediately falling inlove with the sound of his giggle.

"Hello, Tommy. I'm your Daddy."

Wanda approached them both, with a slightly nervous Billy clinging to the back of her leg.

"Look, Billy" Tommy called out to his brother. "It's our Daddy!"

"Hello" Vision smiled softly at him.

Billy shyly peaked out from behind Wanda's leg, his eyes wide.

"Daddy's bigger than he looks in the pictures.."

"Yes" Wanda chuckled. "Daddy is very tall.. Which means you probably will be too, one day."

"Would it help if I made myself a little bit smaller for you?" Vision asked gently.

"Maybe.." Billy nodded.

Vision set Tommy down, crouching to Billy's eye-level, Wanda's heart melting as she watched him interact with their children for the first time.

"You seem a little bit nervous.. But that's alright. I am too."

"You are?"

"Oh, yes" Vision nodded. "This is a big change for you to get used to, and I'm sure there are lots of things I'll have to learn about being a Daddy, so I can be a good one for you and your brother."

Billy seemed to think about this for a moment, and looked to Wanda who nodded, smiling. Billy giggled, running into Vision's arms for a hug.

"Silly. You're already a good Daddy, Mommy told us so."

"She did?" Vision felt happy tears prickling in his eyes.

"Uh-Huh!" Tommy joined in the hug. "Mommy told us stories about you.."

"And told us 'bout how much you'd love us.." Billy added.

"I do love you both.." Vision hugged his sons tighter. "So much.."

"And if that's even half as much as I love you.." Wanda dropped to her knees, happy tears spilling from her own eyes as she embraced them all, "Then you are very, very lucky boys.."

After fetching the boys' things, the reunited family packed up Wanda's car and hit the road for the long trip home. For most of the drive, Vision simply listened to the chatter and giggles of his sons in the back seat, as they told him jokes and stories. But as it grew later, the twins dozed off in the back seat after a quick McDonald's stop, and they drew ever closer to home, Vision began to recognise the roads they drove along, the buildings they passed by, and finally, the house they pulled up in front of, though he had never seen it before.. At least, not in three dimensions.

"I.. this is.."

"The house you designed for us" Wanda smiled softly, getting out of the car and opening the back door to fetch Tommy from his car seat. "Clint helped me get it built."

"That was nice.. I will have to thank him" Vision moved to scoop Billy out of his seat.

"You'll get plenty of chances.. He drops by a lot" Wanda's smile widened considerably as she watched Vision with Billy in his arms.

"Is something funny?" Vision frowned, then panicked a little. "Am I holding him wrong? If there's something else I should be.."

"You're doing fine, Vizh," Wanda chuckled. "This is just.. Nice. It was sometimes hard having two of them and only one of me.. I haven't been able to carry them both at once for a while, so usually when they fall asleep in the car I have to leave one for a minute while I carry the other inside.. this is a pretty small neighbourhood, so I couldn't help feeling a little bit judged every time.."

"Well, you never have to worry about that again" Vision smiled brightly at her.

"I don't, do I?" Wanda grinned back at him. "Come on, let's get these two inside so we can change them into their jammies and tuck them into bed.."

At this comment, both twins magically stirred.

"No!" Billy protested. "We don't wanna go bed yet, Mommy."

"We wanna stay up and play with Daddy!" said Tommy.

Of course, both also immediately yawned, lessening the impact of their protests somewhat.

"You can play with Daddy as much as you want Tomorrow" Wanda chuckled. "But for now, time for bed."

As they entered the house, Vision looked around, taking everything in, and blushing at many prominently displayed photographs of himself.

"Daddy will still be here Tomorrow?" asked Billy happily, yawning again.

It broke Vision's heart that that was even a question.

"I'll be here everyday, Billy" He told him, kissing the top of his head. "I live here now, with you."

"And if you're good boys and get your jammies on" said Wanda, fighting happy tears once more, "Daddy will tell you a story before you go to sleep..

After the boys were tucked in, and Vision told them half a story before they drifted off once more, he and Wanda quietly crept out of their room.

"They look like little angels when they are sleeping.." Vision whispered.

"They do.." Wanda agreed with a smile.

"So.. what shall we do now?" asked Vision, a little shy.

"Well, usually I'd get some housework or a shower in before one of the twins gets up wanting water or the bathroom" Wanda replied. "But they are very exhausted after that trip, so for once, I think I can guarantee at least a few hours before someone wakes up."

"A few hours, you say?" Vision smirked. "Yes, that should be just enough time to christen my new home."

Wanda squealed, her heart soaring as Vision swept her into his arms, carrying her towards their room. He knew the way without asking, as he had designed the place, after all.

They were together now, home with their boys. Wanda's world was whole again, and everything was exactly as it was meant to be.

AN: The end, for now, but I may post a sequel or two at some point.
