Back on Isla Sauro, the day of the raid has finally arrived as a Velociraptor was busy working by a board. And others were were keeping track of the fleet as they near the Equestrian mainland.
Major Jackson leads Evelyn through a hall.
"The mission will launch in a couple of hours." Jackson said.
April 18
"You'll stay right in here." Jackson said and leads her to a desk and type-writer. "Here. Stay here. Don't talk to them. They won't talk to you. Pretend to type whatever information we pass you. That's it."
He then walks off.
Out at the ocean, the Saurian fleet were still over 200 miles from the launch point as they headed east still.
Inside, everyone was going about their business as they waited.
In another room, a Velociraptor suddenly picked something up from his radio.
"Unknown transmitting! Unknown transmitting!" He said.
Doolittle turns to him.
The Velociraptor then works out the location.
"Captain, radar reports unknown patrol boats." The Velociraptor said. "Range of 400 yards."
"How many yards?" Doolittle asked.
"400 yards and closing, sir." The Velociraptor said.
"Richards, bogeys!" Doolittle said. "400 yards, let's go!"
He and Jack quickly rushed off.
"Admiral Indom's ordering the cruisers to open fire!" An Allosaurus said.
A Baryonyx looks through some binoculars.
"Let's sink these boats before they give away our position." He said. "Go to general quarters!"
Crew members quickly rushed around as an alarm blared.
"This can't be good." Rafe said.
"All hands man your battle stations."
The ships continued their course as many dinosaurs and dragons headed to gunner positions.
"Bogeys 1 mile away." The Allosaurus reported. "They reported our position."
"We were supposed to launch 400 miles away." Doolittle said. "How far are we now?"
"624 miles." The Baryonyx said.
"Jeez." Doolittle said.
"What do you wanna do?" The Baryonyx said.
"624..." Jack mumble as Doolittle turned to him. "I don't know. Colonel, I don't know if the planes can carry enough fuel to make it to the east coast."
Doolittle then turned back to the captain's quarters.
"Now." Doolittle said. "We launch now!"
The Baryonyx nodded.
"Army pilots! Man your planes!" The Allosaurus called out.
"Man your planes!"
A Velociraptor quickly opens a cannon slot as a Dramillion quickly loads a torpedo in it.
The cannons continued firing at the unknown ship as crew members rushed around.
Danny looks out a window trying to see what was happening.
"They're shooting at something." Danny said.
"We got word to launch!" Jay said.
Suddenly everyone started rushing grabbing their things as they headed out.
"Let's go!" Rafe said.
Everyone rushed onto the deck.
"Come on. It ain't a drill!" Jack yelled. "Take your job, take your job! Now, go, go!"
The army pilots quickly rushed out onto the deck with everything they got as they hurried to their assigned planes. And more dinosaurs quickly got to the gunners.
Doolittle soon came out along with Tyrant and Indom.
"Colonel! We're too far out to make it!" Jack said. "These planes need more fuel, but if they're too heavy they might not get off the deck!"
"Listen." Doolittle said to a Dracorex. "I want you to strip everything out of this plane you need, and I mean now!"
"Come on, move it!" Indom yelled.
Rafe quickly got to his assigned D-25.
"Start pre-flight! Let's go!" Rafe yelled.
"Add 10 more cans of fuel for each plane!" Jack said to a Dromaeosaurus. "Every plane!"
Crew members quickly started grabbing every fuel can they could find and rushed over to the planes and loaded them.
"Come on, let's go! Let's go!" Anthony said as his group got to their assigned plane.
"Come on, you guys, get up there!" Danny said.
"Lose all suitcases now!" Jack said tossing a suitcase out. "What's your favorite gun?"
"What?!" An Anchisaurus turned to him.
"You wanna get off this deck, you give me one of those guns now!" Jack yelled. "It's still too heavy!"
They quickly removed the side gun.
"You, go to the kitchen, get some broom sticks." Jack said to a Speed Stinger. "Cut 'em down, paint 'em black, and bring them here." Jack then grabs the gun. "We're gonna put a broom stick where this gun was."
"A broom stick?" A Syntarsus said in disbelief.
"What are you doing to my plane?" Red asked.
"Your plane's gonna be fine." Jack said.
Many broom sticks were brought out as they were cut down, and painted black and brought to the planes.
"We got broom sticks for tail guns." Danny said holding 2 broom sticks as Rafe went up to him.
"Yeah. Maybe it'll scare 'em." Rafe said.
"You take care of yourself up there." Danny said.
"I will." Rafe said. "Danny, be careful, you hear me?"
"I will." Danny said and heads off. "I'll see you, Rafe."
"Rafe!" Gooz called out in the D-25. "We're the tip of the sword!"
Rafe then heads to his plane.
"Let's move it!" Tyrant yelled out. "Dragons, into positions!"
A propeller on a D-25 rotors as it's engine whines and starts up, and soon another starts up.
"Turning on one!" Rafe called out.
"Turning on two!" Red yelled.
The other D-25 engines roared as the Saurian ospreys engines start up as well.
"All right. You ready for this?" Danny asked turning to Gooz.
Gooz nodded.
An engine on Doolittle's plane starts up as it's propeller spun as Indom's airship starts up as well.
"Superchargers low and latched!" Doolittle's co-pilot, a Velociraptor said.
"Superchargers on low and latched!" Doolittle said.
"We're full into the wind!" The Allosaurus said.
"Move speed! More speed!" The Baryonyx yelled.
A lemur got to the ship's throttle, and puts it to full ahead.
A Dilophosaurus next to Jack waves out a checkered flag.
Doolittle nodded to him, and turns to the Allosaurus and Baryonyx and saluted to them.
And they saluted to him.
The D-25's engines roared as they got ready.
"Are you nervous?" Doolittle asked his co-pilot.
"No- Yes, sir." He said. "Yes."
"When did you find religion?" Doolittle asked.
"When you assigned me to this mission, sir." The Velociraptor said.
Doolittle nodded. "I want you to do me a favor." He said.
"What's that, Colonel?" The Velociraptor asked.
"Pray for both of us." Doolittle said.
"Tell me when!" Jack called out.
"Let's go!" Doolittle said.
The Velociraptor then closed his side-window.
The Dilophosaurus held the flag out as they waited, and then he drags the flag ahead as he and Jack ducked down. And then the D-25 rolls across the carrier deck as the Allosaurs and Baryonyx watched.
The D-25 rolls across the deck as dinosaurs and dragons came out as Indom's airship soon followed.
"Max power!" Doolittle said.
The D-25 quickly rolls across the runway as it's nose gear lifts up.
"Up, please." Jack begged.
They watched as the D-25 and airship got closer to the edge.
"COME ON! COME ON!" Doolittle yelled.
They got closer to the edge, and then the D-25 lifts off the runway as they both clear the deck. The D-25 drops a bit but quickly gains height as both aircraft flew off.
"Yeah!" The Allosaurus cheered.
"Way to go!" Red cheered.
"Yes!" Meatlug cheered.
Jack placed his forehead on the deck in relief.
"Jeez, that was short." Doolittle said.
"Set a course to the Changeling Kingdom." Indom ordered.
The D-25 and airship flew off as their landing gear reacted.
"Move 'em up!" Jack called out.
"All right! Full power, full power, here we go!" Rafe said and puts his D-25 to full throttle.
The plane then starts to roll across the deck.
"Pull back!" Rafe said.
The D-25 rolls across the deck as Rafe pulls the controls back hard as the plane soon takes to the air.
"Ha, ha, ha!" Rafe laughed.
The rest of his crew then cheered.
"Come on, here we go, here we go!" Danny said as they rolled across the deck.
"Yeah!" Gooz cheered.
They cheered as they quickly rolled across the deck and soon took off as the crew members cheered.
Danny and everyone else then cheered.
"We made it!" A Deinonychus cheered.
Soon, one by one, the rest of the D-25s took off the carrier deck as soon the dragons took off as well and the ospreys and pterosaurs.
Soon, every dinosaur and dragon came onto the deck and cheered out.
The last osprey flies off as it followed the other aircraft and dragons. And the last D-25 took off from the deck as they begin the long flight to Equestria.
Back in Isla Sauro, Roosevelt began a speech.
"From Changeling Kingdom, we have been described as a nation of weaklings and playboys-"
"-who hire dragons soldiers to do our fighting for us."
Evelyn sat at the desk waiting in the command post.
"Let them repeat that now." Roosevelt said. "Let them tell that-"
"-to General MacArthur and his men."
The fleet of D-25s, ospreys, dragons and pterosaurs flew over the ocean heading east.
"Let them tell that to the soldiers who today are fighting hard in the far waters of the Northern."
The fleet continued flying as they got ready.
"Let them tell that to the boys in the flying fortresses." Roosevelt said. "Let them tell that to the Marines."
The raiders flew over the ocean as the mainland of Equestria came into view.
"That's Equestria right there, fellas." Rafe called out. "Tighten up back there."
They quickly got ready.
"Man your guns!" Rafe said.
"We're in the enemy's backyard!" Doolittle called out.
The D-25 engines roared as they charged towards Equestria.
"All right, look alive back there." Danny called out. "I see coastline."
The raiders flew over the water as they near mainland, and soon they begin to near a forest as a town was seen not far.
"Heads up, boys! Heads up!" Doolittle called out.
The fleet flew over the forest heading east as they flew over the town.
"Man your guns back there." Danny said.
"I'm cocked and locked!" The Deinonychus said as the nose gun.
"Get ready, you suckers!" Anthony said.
Back on Isla Sauro, Evelyn types on the type-writer as she had her attention on Jackson as he was in a room with sound-proof windows.
He soon turns to her.
On mainland Equestria, the fleet begins to near the Changeling Kingdom as they saw ahead of them was a tall rock tower shaped like a castle at a barren plain. And not far from it was a another tall rock peak.
"Approaching targets for bombing raid!" Doolittle called out to everyone. "Open bomb bay doors. Open bomb bay doors."
The D-25 bomb bay doors opened as well as Indom's airship as they nearly cleared the edge of the forest.
"Ripley, you got a target in sight?" Rafe asked.
A fake medal wired to a bomb flaps from the wind.
"37 degrees! Target in sight!" A Camptosaurus named Ripley said.
In the command post, Evelyn held some sheets and went over to a drawer near the room as Jackson turns to her.
At the mainland, the fleet soon cleared the forest as they begin to close in on their targets.
"All right, boys, let's knock their clocks off!" Rafe said.
"All dragons on me!" Toothless called out.
"Let's light 'em light!" Barf said as Belch laughed.
"Drop your ordnance!" Doolittle called out giving the word.
"Bombs away!" Danny called out.
"ONE AWAY!" Gooz yelled.
The first bomb labeled "Changeling Busters" was then released.
"Bombs away!" Rafe yelled out. "Bombs away!"
"TWO AWAY!" Ripley yelled.
The second bomb was released.
The D-25s flew overhead as explosions hit the Changeling hive hard as Toothless and the other dragons fired blasts at the rocks as Changelings flee in different directions. And a Screaming Death fired rapid blasts hitting the the tower peak hard as the explosions grew larger.
"THREE AWAY! FOUR AWAY!" Ripley yelled releasing the other bombs.
The fleet flew over the Changeling Kingdom as the explosions grew and rocks being tossed into the air along with Changelings.
At the command post, a Pachycephalosaurus came out of of the radio room.
"We caught 'em by surprise! Doolittle said through the radio. "Dropping ordnance!"
"Bombs away! Bombs away!"
The fleet flew over the Changeling Kingdom as the last of the bombs were dropped and a large explosion rips through the rocks. And the tall rock tower soon came crashing down.
Doolittle looked outside.
"Whoo!" Danny cheered.
"We got it!" Ripley cheered.
"We hit our targets!" Doolittle called out. "Good job, raiders!"
On the ground, some of the surviving Changelings regrouped and sighted the fleet.
The fleet begins to leave as then explosion clouds started appearing in the air.
The Changelings started firing at the fleet as there wasn't time to chase after them.
At Rafe's plane, green lasers suddenly struck through the walls.
"Jeez! What?!" Rafe exclaimed. "Shoot!"
The green lasers continue hitting them hard.
"We got flak everywhere!" Rafe yelled.
The fleet flew through the air as lasers flew by as they were now flying through an aerial minefield.
"Go down there and get Gooz!" Danny yelled.
"I want everyone to separate!" Doolittle yelled.
In the radio room, Jackson soon knew they were in trouble.
"Clean that up!" Jackson said.
"Yes, sir." A Velociraptor said.
"Try and clean that up." Jackson said.
"They're shooting flak at us!" Rafe said through the radio.
The Pachycephalosaurus quickly came back and closed the door as Evelyn was concern.
Danny flew the D-25 as the explosions of lasers hits the air as he closed his window.
"We gotta try and get out of his shoot, Gooz!" Danny said.
Suddenly a laser shatters the side of the window near Danny, more lasers hit the plane's side as then a fire started on a electrical box.
"We got a fire, we got a fire!" Danny yelled.
"I gotta short this out!" Anthony said putting the fire with a fire extinguisher.
"Get into the clouds, Danny, right now!" Rafe's voice said through the radio. "Get up-"
Jackson then turns to Evelyn as she got back to her desk completely worried.
In Equestria, some ponies were out walking and then soon saw the Saurian fleet high above then as they weren't sure what they were.
In Rafe's plane, the explosion lasers continued as he flew.
"Dang nabbit!" Rafe cursed.
Then a laser struck the side of the plane hard.
"Red, go check it out." Rafe said.
Red quickly heads back as the fleet flew through the air as the lasers exploded in the air as the dragons and pterosaurs were quickly getting ahead.
The Changelings below continued firing hard.
Laser explosions hit the air hard near the nose of Danny's plane.
"I'M GETTING COVERED UP HERE!" The Deinonychus yelled.
"I just hope they don't hit a prop." Danny said.
They flew as the laser explosions continued, and then one hits the side of the nose as the Deinonychus was struck on his side.
"I'm hit!" He yelled.
"They're gonna tear this plane apart." Danny said.
"Red, take it up." Rafe said. "800 feet."
Laser explosions stuck near the windshield as Rafe ducked.
"Come on!" Rafe gritted his teeth.
Red crawled further back and then saw the Anchisaurus by the Snytarsus as he doesn't seem to be moving or breathing.
"I think Theo's dead!" The Anchisaurus yelled. "Theo, wake up! Theo!"
"Get into the clouds, Danny, right now!" Rafe said contacting Danny. "Get up in that soup."
"Alright. We're gonna pull out of this, Gooz!" Danny said. "Come on!"
The 2 D-25s begin to pull up to escape the laser explosions.
Back in Isla Sauro, George clips a white flower and hands it to Roosevelt.
"Thank you, George." Roosevelt said.
The Marshall Tarbosaurus then appeared.
"What is it, General?" Roosevelt asked.
"Colonel Doolittle had to advance his execution order by 12 hours, sir." The Tarbosaurus said. "There will be no homing beacons. The plane carrying them crashed en route to the east coast. And our bombers may lack the fuel to reach the coast anyway, sir."
"So our boys are flying blind on empty tanks." Roosevelt said. "Zilla help them."

Now, the second rock tower collapse, let's just say it's a Twin Tower reference. Considering it will be 20 years on September this year.
