It was late at night, and one of the dragonslayers stood guard.

He kept watched as his shadow looms of the wall, and a second shadow appeared as he bowed. But then suddenly the second shadow drew an arm back and then stabs a dagger at him as he drops and hits the ground.

His spear drops near Draco as Stormfly and Windshear saw what happened as well. And Draco knew who was there.

"Come from the shadows, Aislinn." Draco said looking back. "Come where I can see you."

Aislinn then steps out from the shadows as she approached Draco, she then kneels down and bowed her head.

"You know why I've come." Aislinn said.

"I know." Draco said remorsefully. "In giving my heart, I've taken on every poison stirring in his evil breast. Even the pain of his death must be mine."

"You cannot blame yourself." Aislinn said as it was her fault for not knowing her own son's true nature and a tear fell. "Death without immortality?"

"That was not the only reason." Draco said. "I had to wait for a time when mankind would not repeat my mistake and let tyranny thrive. When there would be those who remembered the Once-ways remembered that even in the darkness there is still light." Then he struggled in his chains as he tried to look up into the night sky. "I cannot see. Are the stars shining tonight?"

Aislinn looked at the night sky.

"Brightly, my lord." Aislinn said. "Brightly."

"Then let us end this." Draco said accepting his fate.

Aislinn then grabs the spear held it up ready to end Draco.

"Forgive me!" Aislinn said.

But just as Aislinn was about to deliver the final blow, Einon comes from nowhere stopping her as Draco roared.

"I know why you brought me the dragonslayers." Einon said with a cold look. "You wanted them to kill him because you wanted me dead."

"I wanted to correct a mistake made years ago when I saved a creature not worth saving." Aislinn said.

Einon gave a cold look at his mother, and took the spear from her.

"How unmotherly of you." Einon coldly said.

Aislinn stared for a moment, and without saying anything she turns away and walks off. Einon turns back to Draco as he struggled in his chains glaring at him, even Stormfly and Windshear growled at him.

Einon walks off following Aislinn as she entered inside vanishing in the dark, and Einon followed behind her as Draco continued growling.

Then Aislinn screamed as Draco roared loudly.

In the castle's chambers, Bowen, Kara, Gilbert, Hiccup, Fishlegs, Snotlout and the Twins heard Draco's roar as they looked back.

Bowen then raised his sword as Hewe as some of the villagers appeared.

"Took you long enough." Snotlout said.

"We have to open the gates." Hewe said. "The rest of us are waiting outside. Go save your dragon, Bowen." He then turns to his group. "Hurry, all of you."

Bowen's group then continues on as they followed Kara.

"It's this way." Kara said.

"Are you sure?" Hiccup asked.

"Yes." Kara said.

A stone piece moves as Bowen heads up first as they entered the bed chamber as Einon was seen laying on his bed with a sword as if he was expecting them.

"Well, well, well, what a pleasant surprise." Einon said. "I expected you, Bowen, but with my bride-to-be as well? And with a priest to wed us."

"To bury you." Bowen corrected.

Einon then sat up. "Well, to bury one of us."

They all stared at him, and then Einon got up as Kara, Gilbert, Hiccup, Snotlout, Fishlegs and the Twins moved aside as he clashed swords with Bowen.

"Kara, the door, quickly!" Gilbert yelled.

They hurried to the door, but then2 guards appeared as they pushed against it.

Bowen continued clashing his sword at Einon's, and then he kicks him as Einon hits the floor but quickly blocks Bowen's sword and kicks him back. Einon then quickly got up and attempts to strike as Bowen quickly blocked his sword.

They held their swords against each other, and then Einon kicks a stone on the wall as the stone back started to close. But Bowen quickly kicks Einon off his feet as he fell into the staircase and Bowen drops in as the stone closed.

Elsewhere in the castle chambers, 2 guards stood by a caged wall, and then a hand grabbed each of them from behind. And then their necks were snapped as they dropped revealing 2 villagers behind them, and then Hewe appeared and opens the door.

"Hurry up. That way." Hewe said guiding the villagers. "That way. That way. Quickly, this way. This way." He quickly guides the other villagers at a different direction. "Come on. Hurry up."

In one of the prison cells, Heather was busy trying to get free from the cuffs holding her. As she had a split lip and a bruised face from when Einon and Brok interrogated her earlier to get her to tell them where Berk was. She was also kept in a separate cell from Astrid as she wasn't sure if she was okay.

So far, she has been trying to slip her hand through the cuff.

"Come on." Heather said.

She then slowly begins to slip her right hand through, and after a few painful minutes she manages to get her hand free. She painfully rubs her wrist and saw a rock, she grabs it and bangs against the other cuff hard.

After a few good hits, she finally broke the cuff off and got up and heads to the cell door. She then brought out a broken tip from one of Windshear's old tail spines she kept in case she was in trouble. She then picks the lock, and opens the doors and hurries to find Astrid's cell.

Meanwhile, Bowen stood at the staircase as Einon laid motionless below.

Bowen then approached him, but then Einon swung his sword and trips Bowen as he fell but rolls and got up. They then clashed swords as Einon kicks Bowen into a chamber section as Einon attempts to stab him as Bowen blocked his attack.

They continued clashing their swords.

In one of the halls, Heather went down one as she was looking for Astrid still.

She soon got to a corner, and peaks out carefully as she saw Brok. She watched him as he entered what looked like cell room, realizing what he was doing, Heather looked around and grabs an unlit torch and slowly made her way towards the cell.

"Where is your village you filthy peasant?" Brok voice demanded. "My patience is running thin along with King Einon's."

"I'd rather die then betray my home." Astrid's voice growled.

Heather then tighten her grip on the torch as she nears the doorway.

"I'm going to give one last chance to tell me." Brok said.

Heather then carefully peaked as Brok stood over Astrid as she took more torture wounds than her as she must've put up a fight earlier.

"Same answer. No." Astrid said firmly.

Brok then furiously gripped Astrid by her neck and holds her high.

"Shame for a pretty thing like you to die with her neck crushed." Brok said.

As Brok tightens his grip, Heather then noticed a mace as she quickly grabs it. And then with a hard swing, she strikes the mace against Brok's head as he hits the ground as well as Astrid as she coughed.

"Are you okay?" Heather asked quickly rushing to her.

"I'm fine." Astrid coughed.

Heather soon found a key on Brok's belt, and took it and freed Astrid from her cuffs. She then noticed a gash on her left leg, and looked deep.

"Let's get out of here." Heather said.

She then helped Astrid and left the cell.

In one of the castle chambers, Felton heads down the stairs as he then saw a shadow on the wall at the next bend of the hall.

Felton then hid behind a gap and peaks out as he soon saw Kara appeared, and Felton hid ready to attack.

Kara heads down the hall as then Felton quickly grabs her and held a dagger to her throat.

"Now, I don't know how you all got in here... but tell me this: you are going to get me out." Felton said.

Suddenly a stabbing sound was heard as Felton then acted in pain, and then his arms limped as Kara moves away as Hewe pulls away a dagger from his back. And Felton hits a wall, and then drops to the floor.

Hewe then heads off as Kara grabbed his arm.

"Hewe, thank you." Kara said.

Hewe patted Kara's shoulder as he heads off, and Kara heads up the stairs.

Kara soon headed outside as she hurries to another doorway, but then she was suddenly thrown back hitting a post.

Then stepping out of the shadows was Brok as the right side of his face was heavily bruised from the mace strike Heather gave him.

Kara got up as she held the axe, and Brok brought out his sword.

Kara then attempts to strike as Brok blocks it, and he swung his sword at her axe as he swung it towards as Kara ducked. She nears a post and moves aside as Brok swung his sword at the post, Kara got to the side of the wall and then noticed the axe the dragonslayer that was accidentally shot and dropped earlier.

Brok soon frees his sword from the post, and walks towards Kara as she grabs the axe.

"Let me cut it down to size for you." Brok said.

He then swung his sword as Kara held the axe to block, and the sword sliced the axe handle in 2. Brok then raised his sword up to strike, but Kara swung the axe at his stomach as Brok acted up in pain.

Kara held the axe tightly as Brok turns a bit.

"A girl." Brok said weakly. "A girl!"

"Not just any girl." Astrid's voice suddenly said.

Then an axe hits Brok on his back as he then hits the ground as Kara breathes heavily and held the axe up. And she turns to Astrid and Heather who were close by.

"Take me to Einon, so I can kill him myself." Astrid said with a murderous look.

Kara then heads off Astrid and Heather followed.

Meanwhile, Bowen and Einon were still clashing sword as they were at a high section of the castle.

They continued clashing as Bowen's sword hits the ground and Einon steps on the blade as Bowen then trips him as Einon stumbled back.

Bowen then nears him as Einon moves aside as Bowen's sword hits a stake, Einon then swung his sword at his braking the blade and knocks it back. Bowen kept blocking Einon's swings as Einon soon cornered him and holds him down as Draco was below them.

"Bowen!" Draco yelled.

Einon continues holding his sword pinning Bowen, but Bowen grabs a rock and hits Einon on the head with it. Einon backs away as he held a hand over where Bowen struck the rock.

Bowen then got up as Kara appeared.

"Bowen!" Kara said and tossed the axe.

Bowen caught the axe and turns back to Einon.

"Lo, I'm immortal." Einon said madly.

"No monster is immortal." Astrid said glaring at him. "As soon as I'll slice your head off!"

Bowen then swung the axe as Einon dodges it, and then Astrid attempts to swung her axe as Einon dodged her attacks as well. Einon then ducks as Bowen strikes the axe as it hits a beam. He tries to pull it free as it was stuck, Bowen then turns and Einon nears him with his sword as Bowen swung back holding onto the axe handle as the crane moves out as Einon nearly fell over and tries to keep his balance.

But then Astrid violently pushed him over the edge as Einon fell and hits a wooden deck and through the ceiling leading to the lower chamber and hits the water.

"Feel better?" Heather asked.

"So much." Astrid said.

Bowen held on to the axe handle as a dragonslayer saw him and aims an arrow at him.

"Yeah!" He said.

"Huh?!" Bowen looked down.

The axe blade then loosens and broke free from the beam and Bowen quickly grabs a rope as he fell and a basket of rocks was lifted up as the dragonslayer got ready as he watched him. Bowen lands on the deck as another dragonslayer appeared as Bowen lets go of the rope, and the basket of rocks then fall.

Bowen and the dragonslayer fought as the basket kept falling.

Bowen then knocks the dragonslayer back as he looked up seeing the falling basket, and it hits him hard as he hits the deck.

The remaining dragonslayer aims the arrow at Bowen, but Draco turns to him and snorted a fireball at the dragonslayer as he yelled and fell over the wall.

Bowen quickly jumped down the deck as Astrid and Heather rode down on the rope. And Bowen quickly got to Draco and worked on his chains to free him, and Astrid and Heather quickly got to their dragons as Hiccup and Toothless appeared.

"Are you okay?" Hiccup asked concernedly.

"Beaten up, but yeah." Astrid said.

"Now it's you, Bowen." Draco said. "It's you who has to do it!"

"What are you talking about?" Bowen asked freeing the chain holding Draco's head.

"As the heart binds Einon to me in life, it binds us in death." Draco said.

"That's not true!" Bowen said freeing the other section of chain off Draco's head.

"You've seen that it is!" Draco said. "Through the heart, we share each other's pains and power. But in my half beats the life source. For Einon to die, I must die!" He pulls his right front leg free from the chain.

"Einon is dead." Bowen said.

"HE LIVES!" Draco shouted.

"It doesn't matter." Bowen said. "Don't you hear it? Our rebels have stormed the castle. Alive or dead, Einon's beaten. We've won!"

"You will never win until Einon's evil is destroyed and to do that you must destroy me!" Draco said.

"It doesn't have to be this way, Draco!" Hiccup said. "Come with us, back to Berk. You'll be safe there."

"And then what?" Draco said turning to Hiccup. "Give Einon the onslaught massacre of his life?! Put the lives of children and families and many more at risk?! Sooner of later, Einon will find Berk and destroy everything you love! Do you want to be responsible to the death of your own tribe, Chief?! Einon's tyranny won't end until I'm killed myself!"

"No." Bowen said.

"Once you swore your sword and service were mine... to call when I had need of you, to ask what I would of you." Draco said. "I hold you to your vow, Knight!" He then looked over. "He's coming, coming to stop you! Strike before it's too late!"

Kara quickly rushed down the steps and looked down through the gap where Einon, and soon turns to Bowen and shook her head as she didn't see him.

Bowen turns back to Draco. "You are the last."

"My time is over." Draco said. "STRIKE!"

"You are my friend." Bowen said.

"Then, as my friend, STRIKE, PLEASE!" Draco roared.

Bowen turns away from him. "I can't."

"Then I will make you." Draco said.

Then as if Draco was more determine for death, he then swung his right hand roaring out as Bowen dodges his attack.

"Fight back, dragonslayer!" Draco demanded. "Defend yourself!"

Draco then inhales deeply and snorted to 2 streams of fire from his nostrils as they blew pass Bowen. And Gilbert appeared from a doorway and got to the stairs and stopped.

Bowen held the axe, and then drops it.

"PICK IT UP!" Draco yelled.

Suddenly a sword was placed over Kara's throat as Einon held her as they turn to her.

"Move, and she dies!" Einon said madly.

Gilbert looked at his quiver and saw it was empty.

Toothless, Stormfly and Windshear growled at Einon as he had a mad grin.

Then Draco bit his right wrist, and then Einon yelled in pain as he drops the sword as Kara quickly ran off.

Einon soon recovered as he brought out his dagger, and jumps down as Bowen grabs the axe. And then Einon charges towards him as a beating heart was heard, and Bowen turns to Draco as he rose up. Bowen turns back to Einon as he nears him, and Bowen turns to Draco again as he held the scute scale up revealing the scar it lit red. Bowen turns back to Einon as he rise his dagger up.

Then Bowen held the axe up, and then turns and swung the axe as it hits Draco as he drops hitting the ground.

Then Einon acted up in great pain as he held the dagger, then Bowen catches Einon's arm and flips him over yelling as he held the dagger.

Einon breathes heavily as then he weakly breathes as then his life fades away for good this time.

The beating heart continues as it grew weaker, Draco weakly stares at Bowen as they all watched. And then Draco lowered placed his head down closing his eyes, and the heartbeat soon fades.

They all stared with great sadness of the death of the last great dragon.

"Oh, no." Astrid said.

"No." Hiccup said.

Then the doors opened as Hewe and the other villagers rushed in along with Fishlegs, Snotlout, the Twins and their dragons but soon saw Draco's body. Bowen turns to them as Hewe and the other villagers join by Kara, and Toothless sadly crooned as he nudges Draco's head.

Bowen turns back to Draco's body as he dropped the dagger, and went over to him as Toothless moved aside.

"What now, Draco?" Bowen asked. "Without you... what do we do? Where do we turn?"

They all stared at Draco's body as it strangely glowed, and then suddenly fades turning into an orange cloud as the chains dropped as everyone backed away as the cloud glowed brightly.

"Wait, wh- What just happen to him?" Tuffnut said.

Even Bowen was confused.

"To the stars, Bowen." Draco said. "To the stars."

Then, Draco's soul started to move as everyone watched as even Toothless and the other dragons were amazed. They continued watching as then Draco's soul gently started to head up into the air.

Everyone watched as Draco's soul continued higher into the night sky, and nears the Constellation Draco and became still. Then, the stars of the Constellation came to life as they moved around and gathered around Draco's soul and join together making one bright star.

Bowen watched as then a bright explosion of light and stars appeared lighting up the night sky as he watched.

Then the stars vanished as then a celestial image of a dragon was seen in the night sky as everyone stared at it. And soon, the dragon vanished as it fades and the stars reappeared as they formed back into the Constellation Draco as everyone continued watching the stars.

Bowen continued watching as then the star to the left from the top one flashed orange indicting Draco's own star.

And Astrid held Hiccup's hand as Bowen smiled.

"And in the days following Draco's sacrifice Bowen and Kara led the people in a time of justice and brotherhood."

Constellation Draco stood brightly in the night sky along every other constellation.

"As I remember it now, those were golden years warmed by an unworldly light. And when things became the most difficult Draco's star shone more brightly... for all of us who knew where to look."

10 years later

Time has pass, and Hiccup and the Riders have returned home. 2 months later, they continued helping dragons as one night, Toothless met a Light Fury. But they very next night, they met a new enemy named Grimmel the Grisly who has claimed to have killed every Night Fury, and was after Toothless. After his attack, they were forced to leave Berk as they soon found a new island, and the Light Fury has followed them as Hiccup made Toothless a new black tail allowing him to fly with her.

Eventually, he and Astrid went to look for him as they found the Hidden World. But saw it was no place for humans as Toothless flew back with them, and the Light Fury has followed them but Grimmel soon captured them. Hiccup and the Riders soon freed the dragons and defeated the trappers, but the difficult choice was made to set their dragons free as they flew to the Hidden World where they'll be safe till the comes for them to return in peace.

Hiccup and Astrid are now married, and have a daughter and son named Zephyr and Nuffink as they were out one night, after telling them the story about Draco.

"And he's been up there ever since." Hiccup said.

"Wow." Zephyr and Nuffink said in unison.

"That's amazing." Zephyr said.

"Yep. It's a place where dragons of his kind are now." Astrid said.

Zephyr and Nuffink hugged their parents at the watched the Constellation Draco in the night sky, and Draco's star flashed.

9 years later

Time has pass again, and a Berkian ship stood by some rocks near the caldera leading to the Hidden World.

A young boy with his father's hair and mother's eyes followed Zephyr now a teenager as she was starting to look more like her mother. Nuffink as well has also grown and was starting to look more like his father.

Zephyr and Nuffink hurried off as their younger brother stood nervously as Hiccup and Astrid join by him.

"Together." Hiccup said placing a hand on his son's shoulder.

His son nodded as they walked off to catch up with Zephyr and Nuffink as Astrid followed.

Ahead of them, Toothless with the Light Fury now named Luna were with their 3 children Dart, Pouncer and Ruffrunner as they were Night-Lights and now sub-adults. And with them, 2 Fury cubs about a year old appeared as they were all completely black and one had blue eyes as they were both Night Furies.

They soon saw them as Zephyr and Nuffink went over to them, but then their younger brother stopped as he then kneels down fixing his boot as Hiccup and Astrid turn to him.

"Why don't you 2 catch up." Hiccup said to Zephyr and Nuffink.

He and Astrid then over to their son.

"Hey, you okay, champ?" Astrid asked.

"Mom? Dad? What if the dragons can't come back?" Their son asked.

Hiccup and Astrid turn to each other for a moment, and turn back to him.

"Draco Haddock." Hiccup said. "Your mother and I named you after a great dragon from a distant land. He give his life to save us. And he was... the bravest dragon we ever known."

"But just say that they don't." Draco said.

"Then the dragons will forever remain safe." Hiccup said. "But listen. If it really means that much to you, you can try to come with a solution to figure out for them to return."

"Really?" Draco smiled.

"Really." Hiccup said.

"Sometimes the smallest thing, can make the biggest changes of all." Astrid said.

They then looked over to Zephyr and Nuffink with Toothless and his family.

"Ready?" Hiccup asked.

"Ready." Draco nodded.

They then stood up and hugged each other.

Soon, Draco went over to Toothless as he held his hand out. And Toothless stared at the boy, and soon gently pressed his snout on Draco's hand. And then, Toothless allowed Draco on his back as Zephyr joined him. And Luna allows Nuffink on her as they got in the air as Hiccup and Astrid watched them flew by.

They flew through the air as Dart, Pouncer, Ruffrunner and the younger Night Furies followed behind them as Zephyr, Nuffink and Draco waved back to their parents.

And Hiccup and Astrid smiled as they watched.
