It was a calm winter day at the recent start of the new year, and the Tortuga stood at a clearing of a forest with a layer of snow covering it's dome shell.
Inside the HQ room, everyone was doing their own while Koki was going over a list.
"Hmm." Koki pondered through the list and mumbled for a bit. "Heads up, gang. I'm afraid I need all hands for a supply run."
"Oh! Not again." Jimmy complained.
"All right, we're coming." Chris said.
"Wait, we can't just leave Amber here all by herself." Aviva said.
They turned to Amber who was gnawing on a chew toy at her bed.
"I'm afraid we're gonna have to, this time." Koki said.
"As much as I hate this, but Koki does have a point." Martin said. "Last time we checked, there aren't any dinosaur daycares around here."
They then went off as Martin went over to Amber.
"Okay, Amber, we're only gonna be gone for a little." Martin said stroking her back. "Behave yourself. Be good. Be good."
Amber chirped with a head nod.
Martin then heads and the automatic doors closed.
And Amber rested her head down.
About half an hour later, Amber was laying on the floor looking all bored.
She then let out a yawn-like growl and got up. She wanders around the HQ room and sniffs the air, and then went up to the refrigerator. She then sniffs it and turns to the handle, for a reptile, Amber has a highly developed complex brain. In their time, dinosaurs were the brainiest of creatures, not as smart as some today's mammals, but enough to adapt and survive.
Amber then reaches her hand claws out grabbing the handle of the fridge's door almost like she was processing and thinking. She then pulls back, and soon the refrigerator's door opened as Amber looked around at the different foods and other things.
She then noticed a container of potato salad as he reaches her hand claws out and fiddles around trying to grab it. After a struggle, she manages to remove the lid, and then she licks the potato salad. But she then made a disgusted sound and tossed it away not liking the taste of it.
She then noticed a few cans of Coke as the red color of the can got her attention, and then she manages to hook a claw on the opener and opens it. She then grabs the can in her mouth, and then held her head up high as she started jugging the soda down in big loud gulps.
After finishing the can, Amber walks off, but her senses were slightly dulled and bumps against the electron table drops off her feet. And made a sound that sounded like a burp.
Amber trilled as she shook her head trying to regain her senses.
Sugar was not normally part of predator's diet, but it seems to be mocking around with Amber's senses.
Later, she came across one of those computer-type toys for little kids that was in the storage room. She, like a 4 year old, Amber press the keys of different letters on it with her claws trying to learn what they mean.
She then noticed a remote on the electron table next to her, and sniffs it and then press her claw on the on button.
And then the big screen turns on showing 1945 Tom and Jerry episode 18 'Come To Dinner', and showed the part when Tom saw his tail caught in a candle holder. And his tail catching fire after lighting a cigarette, Tom watches the flame turn his tail black, and he turns to the 4th wall. And then he started screaming his head off in pain.
Which is normally funny for children and other people, but Amber stared for a moment before then her eyes widen and made what sounded like a gasp. She then screeches in panic as she tail-whips an empty soda can at the screen not getting the funny joke of the scene.
And then she pushed a button on the remote, and it showed 2000 Disney film, Dinosaur showing a light blue Iguanodon named Aladar and his Sifaka lemur family on his back as they wandered into a rocky gully.
Amber's expression was then filled with curiosity as distant cooing was heard. The chittering was heard as she watched Aladar looked around and saw something on a hilltop.
It then showed a Velociraptor standing on the hilltop as it squawked and chittered as it was busy grooming itself.
Taking a step forward, Aladar watches the small dinosaur.
The Velociraptor continues grooming itself as it snorted, and then perked as it then noticed Aladar.
The raptor stares at him, and then a 2nd Velociraptor appeared as they both growled.
Amber curiously watched as she noticed the creatures looked exactly like her. But completely different, their snouts were a different shape, they sport crest-like ridges over their eyes, different body built and a different color.
She then pushed the button again, and this time it showed 2003 series Dinosaur Planet, episode White Tip's Journey. And it showed a female Velociraptor named White Tip, and Amber noticed a major different her and White Tip: White Tip was covered in tan scales and white feathers, while Amber didn't had any.
But she was also curious of how those raptors looked different to her, and from each other.
Amber then pushed the remote with her snout, and then it slipped off the table as the screen turns off.
She then leaped off the electron table, and wanders over to the automatic doors as they opened. And Amber went through the doorway.
Amber soon wanders into the garage.

Amber curiously wandered around the garage sniffing around, and soon nears the Amphi-Sub sniffs around it. She then noticed one of the Manta-Riders, and went over to it and stood it. She then noticed the control handles and sniffs them, she then gnaws on them as they jostled.
Amber lightly trilled as she then noticed one of the tentacles of the Octopod, she went over to it and sniffs the mechanical arm. She then bites it and pulls on it and soon lets go of it.
She lost interest and left the garage.
Nearly an hour later, Amber was waiting by the automatic doors patiently for the Wild Kratts to return.
She laid there for almost 20 minutes now, and is starting to get a little tired.
She soon lays her head on the floor, and continues waiting. And eventually, she got up and went over to her bed and fell asleep.
2 hours later, the automatic doors opened as the Wild Kratts came in with some new supplies.
They soon placed them on the electron table and soon saw Amber sleeping in her bed.
"Aw, guess Amber slept the entire time." Aviva said.
"Guess it was quiet for her here." Martin said.
He went over to her and gently stroke her as Amber purred.
"Hey, who had a Coke earlier?" Jimmy said suddenly.
Amber's eyes suddenly shot open.

I apologize for the long wait, been busy with other things.
You may notice a reference from E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial.
Sad news is that we're still waiting for Jurassic World: Dominion, but the bright side might that the official trailer may come out in late November or early December, since the trailer for Jurassic World and Fallen Kingdom came out at that time. I just wish this COVID thing never happened, and that the film could've came out this year on Jurassic Park's 28th anniversary.
Can only imagine what Indiana Jones 40th anniversary reference it might have.
