A/N: Hope everyone had a safe and Happy 4th of July! I also can't believe we're technically halfway through 2021. Honestly, I feel like I'm still stuck in 2020. Anyway, let's continue with Hotel Horror, shall we? Thanks to everyone for the recent favorites, follows, and reviews!

Chapter 32: Weight for It

~B1 – Basement

"Yellow!"

"Red! Blue! Thank the Stars you're okay!"

All three Toads rejoiced as they embraced one another inside E. Gadd's bunker. It was the first time they were together since they played mini-golf in their suite. After King Boo captured them, the mushroom retainers were thankful to be safe and sound in a secluded location.

"Luigi, thank you so much for your help again," the Toad hugged the man's leg.

In return, he slightly chuckled. "You're welcome, Yellow. But of course, I couldn't have made it far without some extra help."

"Bark! Bark!" Colombo wagged his tail. Polterkitty didn't reply, but she coiled her trio of tails.

"Yeah, that's right! Princesses, it's both a thrill and a relief to see you. But can I now ask the question – what did I miss?"

One by one, Luigi, Daisy, and Professor E. Gadd explained everything from the very beginning, making sure they didn't miss any details. From scavenging the elevator buttons to facing some unique yet terrifying ghosts, their journey led to Yellow Toad's eventual rescue in the Spectral Catch.

"Geez, I didn't think it would be this convoluted. But now I understand. Sigh, I honestly don't know how I didn't see this hotel vacation as a hoax."

"Neither did we," said Daisy. "But we aren't stopping from here. We have three more floors to survey."

"Plus, we have to save Mario from Hellen and King Boo," Peach reminded, placing a hand over her beating heart.

"I'm thoroughly proud of all of you for going up against Hellen's staff," commended E. Gadd. "You've been fighting tooth and nail with some very close calls. While I also dread the fact our red-hatted friend is still in trouble, you're almost there to the top!"

"What kind of floor do you think you'll search through next?" Yellow Toad wondered.

"Only one way to find out," Luigi waved the '13' button in his fingers.

~13F – Fitness Center

Normally, a hotel wouldn't be complete without its amenities. Aside from fine dining, room service, and the standard facilities provided in each suite, The Last Resort offered an indoor gym with a swimming pool. Unfortunately for Luigi and his friends, this was not the time to neither exercise nor lounge around with a complimentary drink. They were sticking to the primary objective: finding the next elevator button.

On the bright side, Luigi had rescued most of his friends since he escaped down the laundry chute on the first night. Daisy, E. Gadd, Red Toad, Blue Toad, Peach, and Yellow Toad were all free from King Boo's paintings. His older brother remained captive, but the man in green knew he was close. It made perfect sense that he was with Hellen and King Boo at the uppermost level of the hotel. All he had to do was conquer Floor 13, followed by the penultimate floor. By then, they'll reach the penthouse.

"To be honest, I wasn't expecting a gym to be built on the thirteenth level. Wouldn't it make more sense if it was on one of the lower floors?" asked Daisy.

"I really wouldn't question it too much if this wasn't a haunted resort," Luigi sighed.

"I think it's safe to say that Hellen really went all out for creating the most unusual hotel in the history of hotels," murmured Peach.

"Bark!" Colombo agreed. Polterkitty didn't meow, but she had to admit how her owner was somewhat creative yet crazy when she designed the layout.

Upon reaching the new destination, Luigi and his party stepped into the lobby of the Fitness Center. The only daunting features were the two bronze fountains; a Hammer was engraved on each one, holding large, spherical weights behind their backs. It goes to show how these blocky spirits are just as strong as Bowser. Then again, these Hammers were just statues. To their right was a counter with a check-in notepad and a rotary phone. On the other side was a glass wall with an icon of a barbell. The same image appeared on the floor within a circular ring, too. Beyond the wall was a trophy case with multiple awards displayed on the shelves. There were also some gold bars and a yellow gem in the shape of a barbell.

Luigi shuddered when he realized the ring was a pressure plate. Unlike the trap in the Tomb Suites, it caused the wall to barely open from the bottom.

"Can we all stand on this to raise the glass?" Daisy wondered as she stood beside Luigi. Peach, Colombo, and Polterkitty followed her, but the wall wasn't even halfway open.

Then, Luigi expelled his counterpart out of the vacuum. "How about now?"

One second later, the trophy case was exposed for the humans to vacuum from where they stood. They retrieved another valuable gem and some more money in their collection.

"I still find it odd how someone like Gooigi can provide enough weight to trigger something like this. I feel much lighter when I'm controlling him."

"True. But considering Gooigi's mass is literally a mold of yourself, he technically weighs the same as your normal body," E. Gadd explained over the microphone. "I still think he's one of my best inventions to date!"

Suddenly, the telephone rang, startling the heroes. After cleaning up the money, Daisy strolled over to the counter and cautiously picked it up.

"Hello?"

She heard a weird cackle on the other end. "Channel 3 plays music that is perfect for the training room..." After receiving the message, the voice immediately hung up.

"What did you hear?" questioned Peach.

Daisy reiterated the phrase verbatim. Perplexed like her friends, all she did was shrug her shoulders. They all proceeded into the next room, the Gym Lobby. The first thing they found was a sitting bench with some unorganized piles of fitness magazines. Moving further into the room was a large desk for a formal check-in area.

"This place is giving me bad vibes," muttered Luigi.

"Why is that?" Peach glanced at him.

"Because we probably need a gym membership to access the equipment?" Daisy unironically guessed.

"No. The lighting in this room isn't tempting."

"Luigi, most of the hotel is gloomy with limited lights. Plus, it's still night outside since we started our ghost-hunting journey."

"I know. Sorry, I'm always on edge with the dark. Not even our flashlights make things less frightening."

"Hey, guys! Look over here," Peach drew everyone to the large window behind the desk. "It's sort of hard to see because of the foggy glass, but there's the pool down below."

"Looks pretty cool to swim in. I'll give Hellen some brownie points," commented Daisy.

"I believe this door over here leads us to the pool. Is that right?"

Luigi checked the map on his Virtual Boo, and Daisy took out the Dual Scream to confirm. Both saw the path led to the Back Access, and they agreed to head downstairs. But on their way, Peach tried to push the door open. It wouldn't open the whole way for some reason.

"You've got to be kidding! We could've had an easy way of reaching the bottom floor just like Castle MacFrights. But of course, things are never simple for us," complained Daisy.

"Colombo, Polterkitty, can you check what's on the other side of the door?" Luigi requested.

The pets agreed and hopped through the door. Immediately, they went face-first into a disarray of used, dirty towels. Polterkitty was disgusted, eliciting a lukewarm meow. The ghost pup didn't mind the mess as much as her. He started grabbing towels and throwing them out of the way. Polterkitty refused to touch them with her mouth, so she reluctantly used her paws. They weren't a quarter of the way through the pile, but something caused the animals to stop. A dodgeball slammed against the blocked door, causing Colombo and Polterkitty to jump. Even Luigi, Daisy, and Peach heard the thud and flinched. More dodgeballs were hurled at the animals, preventing them from cleaning up the pile. They retreated to the Back Access where the humans were.

"What was that?!" Luigi shouted.

"Arf! Arf!" Colombo tried to mimic what happened.

"You nearly got hit by some dodgeballs?"

"Oh, my... Whoever is in the Pool must be interfering with them. It's not safe if they stay here. We might have to go the long way around," Peach declared.

Her tomboy friend sighed heavily. "I mean, you two tried your best. That stinks though!"

As everyone returned to the Gym Lobby, they were about to use the next door, only to find out it was locked. In a matter of minutes, the group was stuck with nowhere to go. As soon as Daisy was about to grumble again, everyone recoiled when another dodgeball struck the window.

"Gah! Why?! Why do these ghosts like to continue with the freaking jump scares?!"

Luigi gulped as he headed over to the glass. Peeking through the imprint the dodgeball left on the wall, he spotted the perpetrator who had been hurling the projectiles at Polterkitty and Colombo. It was a red-skinned ghost with black hair and a hefty body. He was sporting a green leotard, a swimming cap, and some goggles over his eyes. The ghost spotted Luigi through the window, and he took this opportunity to flex his muscles in front of him. At the same time, he was showing off with the '14' button in between his biceps.

"Ooh, did he notice me?" the ghost known as Johnny Deepend talked to himself. "Guess it's time to show off more of my moves!"

Johnny bounced the elevator button from his arm to his right pec muscle. He caromed it from one to the other, expressing a crafty grin straight at the plumber. Luigi, on the other hand, was neither impressed nor scared. The more appropriate term to describe his situation was 'uncomfortable'.

"I bet you're looking for this, huh? You'll have to go the other way around if you want to reach me! But don't worry, I might go easy on ya... if you get out of dodge!" he chortled loudly.

Johnny proceeded to snatch one of the dodgeballs floating in the pool water. Stretching his arm back, the swimmer launched the projectile straight at the window.

"AAHHH!" The glass vibrated as Luigi shrieked.

Peach also screamed when she saw a group of ghosts cackling around the desk. "Guys, we're surrounded!"

The apparitions were a Goob, a Slinker, a Blue Twirler, a Purple Puncher, and a Creeper. All five of them were sporting colored headbands around their foreheads. Before Luigi, Daisy, and Peach could shine their Strobulbs, the enemies disappeared and floated away. Meanwhile, the Creeper remained stationary as a goo puddle in front of the counter. A paranormal gate obstructed the exit to the Elevator Lobby.

"C'mon, guys! You know what to do!" shouted Daisy.

She and Luigi turned on their Dark Lights to reveal anyone within their bearings. A hint of blue materialized, illuminating the perky Goob. He went into panic mode and tried to throw a punch at the duo. However, Luigi was quick to strike him with the flashlight. The Goob shrieked as his headband flew off and his tail was trapped in the hose. Daisy also caught the Purple Puncher sneaking near the water fountain. She stunned the ghoul and began draining their health down.

"Bark! Bark!"

Peach was about to step into the Creeper's trap until Colombo stopped her in time. She called for Daisy once she was finished.

"I can't get him to appear from the ground!" Unbeknownst to the blonde princess, the purple Slinker growled and wiggled his fingers behind her.

Daisy gasped. "Peach, behind you!"

"Oh!" she turned around and flashed the Strobulb defensively. The Slinker groaned from the white light and landed on the floor. "Thanks, Daisy!" she yelled before grabbing him with the Poltergust 3000.

"I forgot to mention," Luigi huffed after trapping the Goob, "these Creepers can be summoned from their immobile state with the Dark-Light Device. It's much better than walking into the puddle only to be stuck inside them."

"Yeah, I definitely don't want that to happen," Daisy commented, pointing the rainbow streak at the purple goo. Immediately, the Creeper giggled as he returned to his normal self. He gasped and tried to wiggle free from the suction power. Unfortunately for him, he was sent straight into the 5000, joining the Purple Puncher.

Moments later, Peach took down the Slinker, and Luigi sucked up the Blue Twirler after Colombo and Polterkitty prevented him from doing a floor slam. A golden key flew out of the hose and landed in front of the locked door.

"Perfect timing! Now we can advance!"

Luigi grabbed the key and inserted it into the lock. Once it disappeared, the heroes strode into the Locker Room and were greeted by an Oozer applying some deodorant to his armpits.

"Ew... what smells?" Peach pinched her nose in disgust.

"Apparently, that ghost's B.O.," Daisy gestured at him.

"Bark!"

The Oozer juggled his body spray as he didn't expect a loud bark from the Polterpup. Panicking, he hid inside one of the lockers. Daisy and Peach tried to open it, but the door wouldn't budge due to the combination lock.

"Stay back, girls. I think I need to destroy it with a Suction Shot," said Luigi.

"By all means, go for it," Daisy stepped away with Peach beside her.

He fired a plunger onto the smooth, metal surface and tugged as hard as he could. His strength pulled the locker from its placement and destroyed the bench in the middle of the room. The Oozer was dazed on the tiled floor, but there was also a horde of disgruntled Mini Hammers. Luigi, Daisy, and Colombo hadn't seen these monsters since the Garden Suites, so it caught them off guard as they started flailing their stubby arms. Peach had never seen them before, but she had a feeling they were just as violent as the larger variants.

"Let's get them!" Luigi ordered.

The princesses nodded as they hurriedly stunned the Mini Hammers before they ambushed. Peach nearly got punched, but she saved herself in the nick of time with her trusty flashlight. Luigi fixated on the Oozer before the orange ghoul could hide again. The lights turned on, and the paranormal gates went away as the heroes cleared the room.

"Whew. Another problem solved," sighed Peach.

"Hmm, the map says there's a door that leads us to the Shower Room up north," Luigi explained, guiding the group to the shortcut. Unfortunately, he turned the knob, and it wouldn't budge.

"Another easy access blocked. The ghosts must've been determined to make us go the long way," Daisy grumbled with her hands on her hips.

"Or... it could be locked because it's a shower room," emphasized Peach. "You'd think there should be a way to include some privacy."

"Okay, Peach. Two things. One, this is a public gym. And two, what exactly do ghosts have to hide in the shower? They literally do that with their entire bodies, even when they're not cleansing themselves!"

"Daisy, even if you think about it, the concept is still indecent."

"Meow!" Polterkitty wanted the heroes to stop fighting over a trivial thing. If the room to the showers was locked, then she prompted them to continue all the way around the Fitness Center. She jumped through the wall into the Weight Room.

"Arf!" Colombo figured she was right, something he never expected to admit. He copied the cat and disappeared into the next area.

With the humans unable to form a response, they let go of their old thoughts and proceeded. They immediately heard a ton of grunting accompanied by some metal clinks. Luigi and the princesses spotted three separate ghosts. One of them was a Hammer, lifting a trio of circular weights over his chest. He was in a supine position, although he wasn't lying directly on the floor. The second apparition was a Slammer who wore some boxing gloves. He was trying to prove he was mightier than his red counterpart by whacking the punching bag. But the third ghost who was working out in between them was someone Luigi recognized.

"Argh! Ugh! Yeah! I feel the burn like I always do!" he gave himself a pep talk. It was Biff Atlas, another spirit from the first mansion. He had a red tank top with matching wristbands, some purple shorts, and a belt buckle. The muscular ghost was curling two dumbbells in his hands. Although Biff pushed himself to lift a lot of weight, he didn't want to exert all of his energy. In his opinion, it was much easier yet rewarding than lifting a large barbell. He was busy admiring his reflection that he didn't notice the ghost catchers.

"I guess we got some more ghosts to tackle. Hate to interrupt their workout, but we gotta keep going because I think those purple gates are gonna-"

Out of coincidence, the paranormal fences obstructed the door behind them and the other across the Weight Room.

"-block us out..." Daisy finished.

"Hmm?" Biff finally noticed the gang from the mirror. "Ah! You again! I remember that big nose and green hat from anywhere!" he scoffed.

"Never heard that before," the tomboy rolled her eyes.

"Excuse us, we don't mean to be in your way, but-"

Biff rudely cut off Peach's statement. "The name is Biff Atlas. As far as you petite ladies are aware, I'm the strongest ghost around! I've seen plenty of bodybuilders and creatures who may look tough and buff, but I personally think I can take on all of them in an arm-wrestling match! Heck, they probably couldn't beat me in a thumb war! That goes for you skinny twigs as well!"

"I'm not a lady..." Luigi mumbled to himself.

"Arf! Arf!" Colombo joined.

"Mrow!" Polterkitty shrieked when the Hammer accidentally caused two of the circular weights to fall onto the floor. They created a large crack on the surface. It wasn't as monstrous as the one in the middle of the room, but everyone had the same thing in mind. They definitely didn't want their feet or any part of their bodies crushed by the massive weights.

"Spread out!" called Peach.

The area was massive, so the heroes were able to flee to the open space. The Hammer started heaving the metal circles forward. One of them nearly landed on Biff's head, angering the brawny ghoul.

"Hey, I'm floating over here! Watch where you're hurling those things! They are not play toys for infants!"

The Hammer grumbled to himself, feeling somewhat apologetic. Nevertheless, he continuously grabbed the weights one by one and aimed at the humans. For the ghost pets, they had the slight luxury of turning invisible and avoiding the heavy objects. Luigi, Peach, and Daisy were at a disadvantage for obvious reasons. Even worse, striking the ghosts with the Strobulb was ineffective as the Slammer blocked the light with his green boxing gloves. The Hammer also shielded his eyes with the round weights. Biff had quick reflexes to look away from their flashlights. Nothing was working for them!

"I don't know how we can stop these ghosts!" Luigi panicked.

"Well, you faced Biff in the old mansion, right?" reminded Daisy. "How did you stun him in the first place? Whoa!" She dodged a punch from the Slammer.

Luigi shuddered before gazing through the contents in the Weight Room. His eyes were glued to a certain piece of equipment.

"The punching bag! I hit Biff Atlas a few times with that and knocked the lights out of him! But how do I distract him?"

While brainstorming, the Hammer kept throwing the weights towards the center of the room, hitting the center dent repeatedly. Then, Luigi formed an idea. It was a crazy one, but an idea nonetheless.

"Daisy! Peach! On my mark, get your flashlights ready!"

The women were unsure what he had in mind, but they silently nodded and avoided the ghosts. Biff started flailing his arms, making a beeline right at the protagonists. Luigi whispered to Colombo and Polterkitty for his assistance. The dog was on board, and the cat simply meowed. Once everyone was prepared, the pets made some loud noises to garner the enemies' attention. Biff and the Slammer spotted the pair of animals in the middle of the room and floated near them. The latter was about to initiate a powerful punch, but Polterkitty and Colombo waited for the right moment. Once they noticed his fist, the pets rushed away in time before the Slammer could harm them. Simultaneously, the Hammer wasn't watching the scene in front of him. The large weight banged on top of the Slammer, pummeling the red ghoul onto the floor. Biff nearly got hit a second time, barely evading the impact.

"Gah! I'm getting away from this mess!" Biff immediately disappeared.

"Now! Stun him!"

Peach and Daisy heard Luigi's signal and released a white flash. Luigi rushed over to the Slammer's tail and grabbed it with his Poltergust G-00. While he fought against the force, the princesses saw an open opportunity to stymie the Hammer. The blocky ghost was fatigued from lifting the weights and didn't notice the incoming flash.

"Got him!" Daisy yelled.

"Hurry! To the other side!" shouted Peach.

The duo sucked on the stubby tails of the Hammer as he struggled to escape. Although he and the Slammer were some hefty spirits, both were unsuccessful against the powers of their Poltergust vacuums. Biff remained as the last ghost in the Weight Room, but none of the heroes could pinpoint his location. That is, until they noticed his image in the mirror.

Colombo went over and sprung high in the air, landing directly on Biff's head.

"Ouch!" groaned the bodybuilder. "Hey, that isn't fair! Get over here, you!"

"Arf!"

Unbeknownst to the Portrait Ghost, Colombo was coaxing him towards the punching bag. The moment Biff was a few feet nearby, Polterkitty whaled on the suspended tool. It rebounded into him, sending him into the air by a few feet.

"Good job, Polterkitty! You too, Colombo!" Luigi commended.

"I'll get him!" Peach smirked.

"Grrr! I should be strong to escape that stupid, weak vacuum again! Urgh!" No matter how hard he tried though, Biff couldn't break free from the Poltergust 3000. Peach wasn't making it easy on him. "How are you even stronger than me?!"

"I don't need to have intense muscles to take charge in the battle. Having the technical skills, being flexible, and maintaining a balanced diet keeps me in shape!"

"You said it, bestie!" Daisy bellowed.

"No! I can't lose! I'm gonna get beaten up for lunch money if the others hear I get caught again!"

In a matter of seconds, Biff Atlas was humiliated for another defeat. He was trapped within the 3000 yet again, haunting his nightmares. Peach spun the hose with style before placing it back on the attachment hooks. Later, the fences went away for the team to advance.

"Another room cleared!" Luigi gave his friends some high-fives. He also crouched down to rub the canine and kitty's heads in appreciation. "I didn't think the plan would fall through flawlessly, but it worked out in the end!"

"Was that pun intentional?" Daisy chuckled.

"Huh? What are you- Oh... It wasn't intentional, honest!"

"It's okay, Luigi. I'm just teasing you!" Daisy pulled him into a side hug, causing his cheeks to flush. Peach also couldn't help but giggle.

"Arf!" Colombo was ready to enter the next area. Polterkitty also went ahead to seek out if any other ghosts were trying to target the green plumber. The humans trailed behind as the three reached the Training Room – another fitting place in the Fitness Center. It featured some treadmills and bikes for gym-goers to work on their aerobic exercises.

"I'll be frank, if there were some lights here, this would look like a cool and less freaky place to do some jogging or cycling," remarked Daisy.

"Did my previous statement about the lights make more sense now?"

"Yeah, touché."

"This is a wondrous view," Peach glanced outside the window. "You can see the mountains to the west and the lake up north. I don't mean to repeat, but this hotel would be glorious to enjoy if Hellen didn't have evil intentions and made it unsettling."

Luigi was about to open the next door. Unsurprisingly, it was locked. "We need to find another key," he huffed.

"Do you think it might be hidden inside the exercise equipment?" Peach postulated.

"Sounds very obscure. Although I wouldn't be shocked if the ghosts hid it inside one of the machines," said Daisy.

At this point, the group didn't have any other ideas, so they stuck to Peach's hypothesis. Everyone searched thoroughly around and underneath the treadmills and bikes. Colombo and Polterkitty stuck to searching below the sitting benches and inside the trash cans. Or rather, the Polterpup was carefree to stick his head inside the wastebaskets. The feline didn't want to be near garbage, and she had more than one reason why. After several minutes of investigating, they have yet to find the key.

"Well, I don't see it here," Luigi sighed as he got up from the carpet.

"Not here either," Peach shook her head, standing next to a potted plant.

"Hmm, this is an interesting radio," Daisy placed a hand on her chin, staring at the stereo system beside the locked door.

It had a green, blinking light like the other devices she and her friends have spotted throughout the hotel. Curious, she released a little flash from her Strobulb. The radio began blasting a familiar, catchy tune. Suddenly, she recalled the voice she heard from the mysterious phone.

"I wonder if Channel 3 correlates to this radio."

Daisy flashed the Strobulb a second time, switching the song to something more mellow and relaxing. After her third stroke of light, the music sounded rapid and energizing. She and the others heard some strange movements on the center treadmill.

"Um, what's going on?" Peach clenched her fists in fright.

Luigi felt the goo inside his vacuum shake. Having an inkling, he turned on his Dark-Light and shined it at the exercise machine. There, he revealed a Boo 'running' while jamming out to the beat.

"Ahhh! So you found me! The name is Boodybuilder, but I'm not the biggest fan at hauling weights and barbells. After all, my arms are stubby! Us Boos can barely carry stuff on our own! That's why we use our magic powers to deal with the heavy lifting!"

"Yeah, but you also can't run properly. You're moving in midair, for crying out loud!" Daisy pointed out.

"Reeee!" Boodybuilder lost his footing – or, whatever he had – and slipped off the moving belt. His entire physique slammed into the short porch wall.

"I guess this first round of slamming will be easy for us," Luigi shrugged as he began pulling on the Boo's tongue.

"Ahhh! Wait! I'm all pooped from my workout! At least let me get a drink from the water fountain!"

Luigi denied his request and smacked the ghost onto the floor. Boodybuilder got away from the G-00's nozzle and snarled at the man in green.

"Your slam move doesn't exactly prove that you're strong! It just shows you're a freak of nature who likes to pick on innocent Boos!"

"Freak of nature? You're telling me that your oversized king doesn't fit that description? Or is he more of a freak sheet of nature?" Daisy jested.

Boodybuilder growled and dissipated in front of the ghost hunters. Colombo, however, was right on his trail as he noticed a sea of fog forming in the Training Room. Inspecting for trails, he waited to attack until there was some suspicious movement. Later, Colombo detected the invisible source floating behind the exercise bikes. He took advantage of his instincts and intervened with Boodybuilder. The white ghost screeched as he felt Colombo's paws squish his head.

"Attaboy!" Luigi cheered.

Without the use of a Dark-Light, the Boo was exposed. Peach called for her chance to finish him, grasping the tongue before whacking the ghost over her head.

"Ack! I know you're supposed to feel the burn and aches from exercising, but I didn't expect the cause to be from a vacuum!" Boodybuilder squealed before he was trapped inside the 3000. Later, Peach's hose shook violently until a golden key spurted out of the Poltergust.

"Alright! We got the next key!" Daisy smirked as she swiped it off the floor.

"We'll reach the Pool and the next elevator button in no time!" Peach clasped her hands in excitement.

"I'm glad we got another Boo out of the way, too," Luigi caught his breath.

"Bark! Bark!"

Based on what the map displayed, the heroes were approximately halfway through the Fitness Center. They still need to clear a few more rooms before reaching their intended destination. Polterkitty stayed behind once again to be alone for a minute. Deep in her mind, she was still adapting to her surroundings, especially with Luigi and Colombo after their prior history. On the plus side, Daisy has kept her relaxed and stable. She also believed Peach was kind around her even though they rarely bonded. At the end of the day, there was one thing in mind that Polterkitty realized.

She was beginning to like the heroes. And the more she spent her time assisting them in their quest, the less she cared about Hellen Gravely.

For now, the violet cat twitched her whiskers and jumped through the door, her slender tails curling in contentment...

END OF CHAPTER

First part of the Fitness Center is complete! I'm curious about how I'm going to handle the second half because I got something different planned compared to what was featured in the game. Nevertheless, I'm excited!

Thanks again for taking the time to read up to this point. If you haven't already, feel free to favorite/follow the story for notification alerts. I'm still busy with online school, but I also have made plans to travel and see my friends for the first time this year after a hectic first half with my schedule.
