Author has written 3 stories for Naruto. STATUS: On hiatus until 19th June 2015. (I can still help people with their stories I am just not updating mine). Hello, I am SRB and I am a Naruto fan fiction writer on this website. Disclaimer: I rant a lot below General Information My favorite types of fan fictions are Time Travel ones that have Naruto going back in time alone (with no way of letting other know their future memories) or ones where , or ones where Naruto has Mokuton. My favorite fan fictions are: Uzumaki by AlmostElectric, CrownOfDasies' Unknown, AthanatosOras Waking Up to a Nightmare and Klima371s Senju, Uzumaki, Namikaze: The Untold Heir, although it has gone on hiatus. I also like Esparias Seventh Slip Backwards. I try and write my fan fictions whenever I have the time, although with my Itachi time-travel fan fiction it is hard to write for, as I can't follow the original timeline or take aspects of other fan fictions which I like (everybody killed by the Shinju from Waking up to a Nightmare etc). I will try and update each fan fiction at least once a week however, with my Itachi story being the most likely to have longer gaps. If anybody would like to help me with ideas on the Itachi story I would be grateful, and would honour you before the chapter starts. I also have some pet peeves for writing that people often fall into. For example I don't like it when somebody does romance and the people suddenly are madly in love. It doesn't happen like that. You should build up a relationship slowly such as in Uzumaki by AlmostElectric. I think AlmostElectric does this part of their story perfectly, as long as they keep progressing at the same rate (written on 15/05/2015 and Chapter 18 of Uzumaki). Another pet peeve I have is when people have Naruto beaten. It isn't the logical thing people would do. They fear that Naruto is the Kyubi, and they also shun him because they don't understand Jinchuriki. They wouldn't beat him because of the fear of the Kyubi. They wouldn't want to risk the wrath of it again. A third one is where people have Kurama call Naruto 'Kit'. This one only annoys me because the Kyubi is only a fox in looks, he wouldn't suddenly start calling people such as Naruto 'baby fox' just because they are no longer enemies. He would just call him something like brat. A fourth one is when people give Naruto multiple bloodlines and then they don't explain it by 'yeah I just want him to have bloodlines and therefore I changed the story', they have it where Naruto merges them together, which is usually impossible, without any genetic mutations. This is stupid because Nature transformations are a specific type of chakra control and using them at the same time perfectly requires a lot of chakra control unless you have the genetics. Naruto is known to have high reserves and low control. It isn't logically possible for him to do anything like that. A fifth one is when people do time travel fics where Naruto is instantly believed. This is not possible unless something happens, such as in my Winds of Time story where the Frogs remember (because of senjutsu) and therefore Jiraiya also remembers. (I think of it as the nature of the world has been changed because of the fact somebody not of that time has entered it, therefore the winds have changed. The winds part is actually a slight metaphor for nature and the senjutsu etc). A sixth pet peeve is where people have Naruto become friends with the 'Rookie Nine/Konoha 12' during the academy. This is not logical because not everybody can become friends. At the time they are not matured (well most aren't, Shino is) and therefore they wouldn't all get along, such as Sakura and Ino getting annoyed with Shikamaru's attitude or Choji's eating habits etc). A seventh pet peeve is where people have Kurama become friends with Naruto for no apparent reason other than 'Naruto became friends by talking to him'. In the manga people seem to forget the fact that Naruto was slowly showing that he didn't care that Biju were Biju and he just wanted everybody to be happy and live together in harmony. The other reason is that Kurama realises that he is the child that the Sage of the Six Paths (Kurama's 'Old Man') was talking about before his death. When the person you idolize and love the most says something just before their death, it is likely to affect your judgement. An eighth pet peeve is when people have Naruto do things during the 3 year time skip of their story such as join the Kiri civil war. It is completely and utterly stupid honestly because if Naruto and Jiraiya, who I might add are a shinobi wearing a leaf headband and can use the Rasengan as his only jutsu other than the Shadow Clone which is a Konoha technique and Jiraiya who is one of Konoha's Three Legendary Sannin. This makes no sense because it would basically be classed on Konoha declaring war on Kirigakure and therefore possibly causing a Fourth Shinobi War as Iwa or Kumo could take advantage of the fact that Kiri and Konoha are already fighting and are losing men while they can carry on building their military. The political implications are impossible to see as a good thing for Konoha in any situation other than the rebels will win within the month and Konoha can gain an ally. A ninth pet peeve I have is when people don't have Naruto taught by Jiraiya or Kakashi out of the academy or at all. Jiraiya is his godfather, which is a pretty big reason for him to be picked as his sensei, not including the fact that he is one of the legendary Sannin and taught the Yondaime. He is the second most logical pick in all situations. The first of course being the student of the Yondaime, the only living member of that team (other than the sneaky sneaky Obito of course) and he is also testing teams at the same time that the Last Uciha along with the Kyubi jinchuriki (keep in mind the Kyubi can be controlled and stopped with the Sharingan) who also happens to be his sensei's son. They are the only logical choices. Of course Asuma could teach him wind jutsu, however he is a good fit with a team like the Ino-Shika-Cho squad because they are going to go together no matter what and Kakashi would be wasted teaching them because of his large jutsu arsenal teaching. Kurenai also would possibly be a good choice for the Ino-Shika-Cho but she would be a terrible choice for Naruto as he is the opposite type of fighter than she is. Using heavy ninjutsu and Taijutsu with a large chakra pool. He is also incapable of genjutsu meaning her teachings would be basically useless. Kakashi on the other hands has a lot of jutsu, as he is a ninjutsu specialist, which he could teach to a jinchuriki, who is also an Uzumaki and has abnormally high chakra even for a jinchuriki probably. A tenth pet peeve is where people over use the concept of shadow clones. The reason he could use them at that time was because of a few reasons. One was the fact that cutting a leaf doesn't use much chakra, therefore he didn't need to replace the clones a lot. Another is that Tenzo was there, meaning that if his clones or him got overwhelmed and the Biju chakra started getting out of hand it could be stopped. A third reason was the fact that he had Sakura's special food pills (yes he said they were horrible but he still ate them). Without all these factors (such as if he was practising something like the rasengan using clones, then it wouldn't be good because the rasengan uses more chakra than cutting a leaf) then it wouldn't be possible. They also early on, before he was older when he does the shadow clone training, might have thought that his brain couldn't handle the exhaustion and mental overload. Another factor is also the fact that they didn't want to risk anything when it wasn't as urgent to make the jutsu. If it wasn't then he wouldn't have even used the clones. It was urgent therefore they used them. They didn't even know if it would work when they went into it. My favorite... Naruto Characters: 1) Naruto Naruto Pairings: 1) Shikamaru/Temari Other than the silly one at the end, these are my favorite Characters and Parings (I ran out of pairings /cry). Story Ideas: None. Chapter Progress: Naruto: Winds of Time Chapter 2: 2,214/4,000 words. Naruto: Itachi's Peace Chapter 1: 0/4000 words. Naruto: Fate's Bane Chapter 2: 0/5,000 words. Naruto: The Stage Changes Chapter 2: 0/4000 words. | |||||||
