Hi, I'm Linda and l love ff, both reading it and writing it. I am completely computer dyslexic and horribly stubborn so everything either takes an incredibly long time or I enlist the services of my long suffering husband who says things like I've already shown you that... at least ten times.

I love to do creative writing and get lost in my parallel universe so that the characters seem real to me, sometimes more real than my family mainly because they don't keep asking for clean shirts. I am really interested in what makes a character more than one-dimensional, and how to show all the aspects of someone's personality and character without making them seem unnecessarily sloppy or turning them into a looney tune, but everyone has multiple sides to their character and has insecurities, regardless of the face they most like to show the world. I like to show a bit of humour in my writing and hope that other people share my sense of what's amusing and I cannot abide unhappy endings in books, dramas, films, or whatever because I am an incurable optimist and romantic and I also hate things that are left 'up in the air' with no real ending.

I have two kids and am a lady of leisure although I seem to work much harder now then I ever did when I had a so-called proper job.
