Ahoy there. I'm an author who likes to write mostly alternate universe material and Horror shorts, for the most part I don't see anyone using Horror to describe the work they're fond of, if it fits their fandom as a genre, and that makes me sad. So I've made it something of my mission to invest in that lack of style to produce as much Horror fanfic as I can, within, of course, the reasonability of having both a personal life and business life. Together with my work as an original fiction author, I'm determined to present Horror and Action/Adventure as absolutely worth artistic merit in the field of fanfiction and literature at large.

One quick aside, if you want me as a beta, don't message me on the app. I use the site on a regular old computer and therefore do not receive any PMs sent through the mobile app.

Anyway, I've mostly been inactive lately due to reassessing my priorities and the direction I should take my writing. In short, I've decided to recommit myself to writing mostly Horror fiction of a wide variety and will be less open/more selective about accepting Beta requests.

Revision of the infamously terrible Devils Like Us is here finally, under the title of Minus Human. Took me long enough.

Speaking of which, it shares a universe with many of my other stories I've written, all detailing a different part of my own version of Dante's life from a very different version of the world. I always have preferred the style and aesthetic of the first game, my resultant stories have mostly focused on creating a logical damn world that fits around it, which has resulted in me rewriting much of modern lore and such since the game series now is almost completely unrecognizable from the original. I take influence from a lot of potential in plot points and ambiguity from the 2nd, 3rd and 5th games, the novels for the first two games, and the general Horror vibe of the original game, so if that ain't your thing, best skip me. If you're looking for something different than your average DMC fanfic, you're in the right place.

I think I'll be also focusing on attempting to leave more constructive reviews than I had prior as well. For the most part, I'm an agreeable individual, so in turn, any criticism I levy will be done so because I've taken the time to consider my words and their impact, and they will be measured and fair. If you don't like whatever I've got to say, I don't mean to be cold about it, but that's just tough shit I'm afraid. I'm as fair as can be.

In terms of literary influences, I think most of my work largely focuses on combining the old Gothic style and influence of individuals such as Blackwood, Stoker, Poe, Radcliffe, and Irving, together with the brutality and versatility of other authors such as Bierce, Lovecraft, Barker and Keene. I love Gothic aesthetics and its decorated style of prose. Combined together with the modern affectations of Horror and Crime, they're a great team, I think. For the most part, that's what you can expect from me and my style, both as an author and as an editor/beta reader. I like what lies off the beaten path, the stuff I don't see others do with their premises.

Noir and general Crime fiction are my second great loves beyond Horror, and that's quite evident in what I like to write, sometimes merging the two genres together into my own flavor. A tremendous writer in this field was Jim Thompson, who I strongly urge you to go read. Start with The Getaway from 1958, it is a classic example of his absolutely vile style of Crime that I love.

Silver Shadowfall - By BlessfulheartAndreth2015 - I've only had the chance to revise the first 7 chapters. She's currently working through each one individually, but it's going okay. DMC/Resident Evil - Dante gets a tip from Trish about his brother's body and the Umbrella corporation's fascination with it, and so goes a'hunting after it. Along the way, he meets old flame Jill, and their past history comes back to haunt them.

The Legend Of The Raindodger - By Kyojiro Kagenuma - Chapter 1 and probably anything from chapter 15 onward. He had an old beta that dropped out of contact, so apart from chapter 1, I'm going to be resuming the work from where they left off with him. One Piece - Kuina left home at a young age but has returned to the seas to make her own destiny as a member of the Whitebeard Pirates, where she sparks up an unlikely partnership.
