"This is bullshit!" Inuyasha raged.

"Language!" Kagome yelled at him.

"No! I never should have left Kikyo down there!" He stood beside Sango and Shippo as he practically spit in fury. "Once again Miroku fucked up."

"Miroku told you Inuyasha that he has no access to his spiritual awareness. He did what he could!" Sango practically hissed back.

"Enough!" Sesshomaru commanded. "It matters not. If we are able to settle this without confrontation then we shall."

"How? By giving him your daughter?" Inuyasha seethed. "Over my dead body."

"Oh my god Inuyasha. Shut up!" Shippo shouted at him. "You are such an idiot."

Sesshomarus hackles had raised considerably at the slight and he began to growl.

"Uncle Inuyasha," Hanna said from beside him, "I have always wanted to be with Mikaboshi . He was supposed to be my mate. He is chaos, I am..I I was known as Kanzeon Bosatsu."

"The goddess Kannon of mercy and compassion?" Rin asked receiving a nod from Hanna.

"Then why do you want to be with Mikaboshi?" Sango questioned.

"It is balance." Hanna stated. "All deities are paired based upon their nature and abilities. He is chaos and I am tranquility."

"That makes sense." Shippo remarked.

"Lady Seiobo wanted to keep me pure and untainted. She is my creator but she was never my mother. When I met Mikaboshi we both knew that we were meant to be with one another." Hanna explained. "She had me taken here and locked away. When he came for me she had employed the dog demon to stop him with his heavenly sword."

"Once it was over she gloated over me showing off the meido stone where I had to watch my mate suffer, my other half in agony." Tears streamed down her face as she shook her head slowly. "I forgot, how could I forget?"

"Am I really so terrible Kannon?" Seiobo came from the hall to the war room they all stood in. "It was not good for you daughter to sit around for centuries and lament the way you did. I offered you the chance to have a new life. At the same time save Sesshomaru from his deplorable fate, all of which you have done quite well I must say."

"All you have ever done is manipulate others to do your bidding." Sesshomaru said coming between her and Hanna. "Once this is done, whatever the outcome may be you are not welcome in our lives."

"If I did not do any of the things I have done then none of you would be here." Seiobo said. "Most of you owe your lives to me and this is how I am repaid?"

"It's not about you!" Kagome fumed. "This is about the wrongs committed against Hanna and Mikaboshi. As long as Hanna is safe and cared for then what does it matter who her mate is? A real mother wants her children to be happy even if it means letting them go."

Glancing down she felt Hanna lean against her as she hugged her. "I'm glad that you're my mama Kagome."

"Baby.." Placing her hand to her daughters head she sniffled. In a moment the world around them would dissolve into chaos as Kikyo would use her purifying abilities to storm the palace with Mikaboshi launching his own attack on Sesshomaru.

For a second it was just Kagome and Hanna looking to one another silently crying before all hell broke loose.

A/N: Hello dear readers. We're getting towards the end of this particular story within our blood moon universe. I love this pairing so much that this will not be the last story by a long shot.

I am going to continue to work on my story, 'I Choose You', that I don't have any plans to finish anytime soon as well as my ongoing story, 'A Little Kindness Goes A Long Way.'

I'm going to take a break from this universe to recharge and refresh to bring a great story to all of you. Happy reading.
