Hey everyone, I'm so sorry for the long ass wait but I'm back with another chapter update and before any one asks me anything I've already started working on the next chapter for this story. Because this story is actually nearing its end, there's about five to nine chapters left.

Now as for the long wait, if anybody has read my story BioShock 2: More Audio Diaries Of Dr. Ebony chapter notes will know that my grandma had passed away from cancer this year back in March, but before her passing this year. I and my entire family mid to late last year had to take care of my grandma because not only did she have cancer added onto her list of things to watch out for she also had diabetes and a bad heart condition. Cancer was added on to her health condition late last year sadly. So if anybody or anyone ever wondered why I didn't update this story this year or last year was mostly because of me and my entire family taking care of my grandma and being there with her till final her days. So now, you all know the truth as to why I didn't update this story.

And don't worry everyone, I'm fine now both health wise and personality wise too thanks to close friends and a loving family supporting me all the way through these tough, sad, and difficult times.

But any way, I hope everyone has a peaceful and joyful weekend and also stay safe and healthy.

Attack Of The Dragon's

Part IV

"Is that so Scarlett, do you really think you can defeat…"

Ember tried to finish saying to the dark red female as the same dragoness appeared fast and angry right front in of her with her right paw and snow white claws clenched tightly in a fist like style. This shocked and surprised Ember to her core, as the dark red female should be some distances away from her and yet here she was right in front of her ready to strike her. Before the pink dragoness could even active the spell, Ember felt the full force of Scarlett's right paw striking her in the face which sent the young female dragon flying some distances away before making a hard impact onto the main road as her body made impact upon the hard ground Ember spat out large amounts of blood from her mouth and felt some her bones crack and break. Even her wings felt the whole thing too, but luckily she had them spread out before the hard impact could damage or break them.

As the pink female laid there in a bloody and broken mess, the other dragons who watched from afar were stunned and even surprised by the dark red female's strength and speed for someone to attack and counter a spell caster from making a single spell to aid them in a fight or battle was really impressive and a great feat too even. Cynder watched her master from a distance and studied her with her green eyes as her black scaled tail moved graceful behind her.

"She attacked Ember before she could even active a single spell with fast correct and perfect timing. Fighting spell casters from mid to long range are really a killer for short ranged fighters, but at the same time a spell caster's big weakness is…"

"Short range." The pale red male dragon thought to himself as he was watching the fight from the roof-tops as are the Royal dragon guards too. Requiemas was watching and studying the fight from afar, he watched every move and way the two dragonesses were fighting and doing right now.

"Spell casters, magic users and at etc. always fight from mid to long range this giving them a large array and advantage over their short range enemies or opponents. This making themselves thinking their more superior and stronger than them, but in actually reality though they have one huge disadvantage and that is short range once an opponent gets in real close enough to them weather it's with weapons or melee combat than their finished. And it seems now that Scarlett has the open advantage for now, but knowing Ember she most likely has something up her scaled sleeve. She's already used one powerful spell on Cynder and Scarlett which leaves her with two powerful spells left. Will she use them on Scarlett or try to find a way to beat her some way or somehow unless… Scarlett are you actually planning on forcing Ember to use those two last spells on you so you can make her use them and then her attack or kill her when she's down and tired. That's hell of a risking move even for you Scarlett, but knowing you you'll probably manage to pull it off somehow."

He saw Ember move her right paw move over her broken and bloody body and heard her say the spell's name out, "Speedy Recovery." He saw a light blue light appear in her right pink scaled paw and saw it start to repair and heal her wounds and broken bones in her body this making him growl in anger.

"Damn her. She just won't quit or die, will she?!"

As Ember started to heal and repair herself, the dark red dragoness Scarlett just shook her scaled head and sighed hotly to herself as her ear frills twitched. She stopped shaking her head and decided right there and then it was time to act and she did indeed. So with great speed she disappeared from the sight of Cynder and Requiemas making them both gasp with surprise and shock as to where she went before they saw her reappear from above where Ember was healing and repairing her broken self.

Ember saw this and was shocked to find Scarlett right above her and was coming straight down toward her with an attack, so with all the strength she could master up with the pink female rolled out of the way before Scarlett's attack could hit or damage her directly. As she rolled out of the way, the dark red female's right paw had went through the main road's hard ground and half her right fore arm was in the ground and all she could feel was dirt, sand, and clay in her paw and claws. Scarlett looked to her left and saw the pink female laugh evilly and hard at her as Ember continued healing herself with the spell she was using.

"Ha, I must say that was good idea to try and attack me when I was down and healing myself. You used your immense speed to disappear and then reappear to attack me directly thinking you got me where you wanted, but what you didn't count was me rolling out way and dodging maybe you should have tried…"

Ember tried to finish saying to Scarlett before she was back pawed in the face by the dark red dragoness left paw that was now in midair that had sent yet again Ember backwards from Scarlett a few distances away as Ember landed hard upon the ground once more as she coughed up more blood from her muzzle. The pink female groaned and moaned from the pain happening in her body right now as a thought just crossed her mind.

"Damn, she sure knows how to hit hard. I should have kept my mouth shut and dodged her attack and then countered back with one of mine own, instead she used my talking back to her to her advantage and when I wasn't paying attention she back pawed me hard in the face and sent me flying yet again. Scarlett has been fighting me for real since we started, she's not holding anything back now or ever. This isn't a fight to be defeated or captured, it's a bloody fight to the death one where she wins and I die. Which means I have to get serious too, but even that will be difficult to do though I've already used one of my powerful spells and only have two left I'll just have to careful as to not make a mistake on my part. Otherwise, I'm done for."

As the pink female got up on all fours again with her right paw still growling light blue to her chest still healing her of injuries, the black scaled dragoness Cynder watched and study the spell that Ember was using to heal and repair herself with careful study and thoughtfulness.

"That spell she's using should be real close to finishing up, the spell Speedy Recovery can only be used once per day and once used it no longer can be active or used again. If I remember correct too, the spell's payment should be about or around 10% percent of the user's life force as well. It's a neat spell to use in dire situations, but come's with a terrible piece though. It will shorten your life."

As Cynder's thought finished she saw the spell fade away from her view and saw that some of Ember's wounds were completely healed and some blood was gone too, but yet the pink dragoness was breathing in and out hard and her body was trembling and shaking non-stop from over using her own element power of fire and over using and forcing spells to aid her in the fight against her Cynder and now Scarlett. Cynder saw the pink female narrow her blue eyes hard and cold toward Scarlett and even saw Ember snare and growl too as well, the black dragoness moved her green gaze toward her teacher and master and saw Scarlett for her part kept her own cold and hard gaze upon the pink female still while at the same time remaining calm and collective.

"Ember?!" Scarlett said coldly.

The dark red female pulled out her right dark red scaled paw from the ground while keeping her light crimson eyes upon Ember still and started shaking and rolling her right paw to get rid of dirt, sand, and clay from her dark red scales as she turned her whole body around and that now faced Ember directly as her tail swayed side to side and her large dark red wings folded neatly to her sides even her frills twitched somewhat too.

"I knew you would dodge my attack Ember, I even knew you would most likely countered back with your own attack as well, but all you did was talk and talk and so I used that to my advantage and it paid off rather well." Scarlett said coldly and proudly to the pink female.

This made Ember cringe with anger and hate at the dark red dragonesses words as she clenched her claws tightly into the ground below her, "Ha, don't judge a book by its cover Scarlett."

This statement made Scarlett laugh and smile a small bit before her face became serious and cold once more as her gaze never left Ember's at all, "Oh I won't Ember, but I've lived far longer and learned a lot from my past experience's as one of Malefor's top former generals. So don't underestimate me either Ember!"

"Ha, then I guess I better start this…" Ember once more tried to say as the dark red female launched towards her with blinding speed and started a barrage of speedy and very fast melee attacks of her front paws and claws. Even the pink dragoness who was blocking the dark red dragoness attacks with her own paws and wings could barely keep up with the immense speed and barrage of melee attacks coming her way.

"This is impossible no dragon should be able to move this fast with melee attacks and strikes even I can barely keep up with Scarlett's immense speedy attacks. I can't even land my own attack much less counter or even active a single spell to my aid. All I can do now is just keep blocking her attacks, but my body and power has already reached past its limits and if I keep on fighting any longer than I'm dead for sure."

As the dark red female continued on attacking on Ember with her barrage of melee attacks, not far from the battle sat the black dragoness Cynder was healing herself with some red crystals that Spyro had given her before they went their separate ways earlier in the day to relax and enjoy their day off from advanced training and what not. As the red crystal within her black paw had finished healing her wounds the red crystal then shattered into a million pieces and the black dragoness shook her paw and looked up from her paws and saw her master still attacking Ember with her barrage of meele attacks and wasn't surprised to find her master attacking like this neither.

"My master still got it seems, Scarlett's not one you wish to fight one on one with or even one vs an entire army. No one's ever been able to beat her in melee combat or even come to close to matching her even yet other than Light, Lightning and her former master and best friend Ebony of course. Even I much to myself and envy can't even keep up with my master in our former trainings together even today I still can't beat her in melee combat training. Only one dragon has ever taught my master this melee combat and fighting style that is Ebony. If he was still with us today live and well he would be very proud and honoured that his former student and now my master is still continuing his tradition and style till this day still."

As Cynder continued healing herself and Scarlett still continuing her barrage of melee attacks upon the pink dragoness upon the roof-tops the pale red dragon was still watching the fight from afar and was surprised, shocked, and impressed by the dark red females continuous and endless melee attacks and strikes upon Ember and wasn't stopping either from the looks of things.

"So the rumours and tales of Scarlett's melee combat and attacks were true. When I was with my friends or comrades in the Royal guard still I always heard them telling each other rumours or stories of a dark red dragoness going around killing or murdering her enemies with her bare paws and claws and that was she was unstoppable too. When I heard these rumours of course I merely passed them on as mere child's play or fantasy because I at the time didn't believe it cause for me to believe it I needed to see it or witness those rumours at the time for myself, but I never did encounter or see the dark red dragoness destruction element powers or melee combat for myself in the past but now years later here am I actually witnessing the real and true dragoness herself using her melee combat and element power. It seems my friends and former comrades were right along from the start and it looks like I own them a couple of drinks too it seems."

As Cynder, Requiemas, and the Royal guards continued watching the fight from afar the dark red dragoness's endless barrage of melee attacks suddenly stopped which made them wonder why she did, but then they saw why for themselves. Scarlett launched her right scaled paw directly into the pink dragoness gold chest scales which knocked the breath right out of the pink dragoness muzzle as more blood came out too and some bones could be heard cracking and breaking from the force and impact of Scarlett's punch as the pink female was sent flying away once more and hitting the ground again as large dust clouds surround the area around Ember as she lay lying and bleeding on the ground once again. The dark red female brought her right paw back to the ground as her tail moved swiftly behind her while her frills twitched once again. The dark red female waited for what Ember might have in store for her alone. Cynder got up on all fours again and watched and wonder if they had won the fight or not.

"Did that work and do the trick, please tell me we got her?" Cynder asked questioningly to herself and Scarlett.

"Speedy Recovery: Stage Two!" Ember yelled out as a large light blue surround itself around the pink dragoness and started healing, recovering, and repairing the wounds all around her pink body as her bones that had be cracked or broken were now repaired and her element power was restored only by 10%, but it was enough for her use and kill her opponents. As the dust clouds cleared away from the wind that was now blowing around the area Ember got back up on all fours and grinned like a mad man who made their first kill her blue eyes narrowed hard as her tail rocked back and forth and wings folded neatly to her sides as the spell surround her faded away from view and was gone. Scarlett's thoughts ran through her mind once again.

"Hmm, looks like my hit did do some serious damage to her after all. Otherwise she wouldn't have activated the spell Speedy Recovery: Stage Two that heals and repairs 50% percent of damage upon the user who used the spell, but Stage Two can only be used once and once used the user can't use it again or force it and it also takes 5% percent of the users life force as equal payment too."

As for the other dragons who watched the event unfolded before their eyes just groaned and sighed with annoyance and anger as they all said in their thoughts, "Are you fucking kidding me!"

As for Ember she just smiled and brought her two front paws to the ground and yelled out another spell she just activated, "Five Element Attack!"

There above the pink dragoness were five very large elemental orbs of energy that used the five elements fire, earth; water, wind, and metal were all ready to be used for attacking and killing her enemies and Ember had one enemy in mind for this attack spell and that was the dark dragoness standing calm and quite in front of her.

Cynder gasped and was shocked that Ember could even use that spell in the first place, but to use it here of all places and to use it to attack and possibly kill her master was insane and just plain crazy.

"Scarlett there's no way you can possibly stop that attack, please just run and go!" Cynder yelled out to her master.

"Cynder." Scarlett said calmly to Cynder as she looked over her right shoulder and saw her student green eyes filled with terror and worry for her which made her smile a bit before looking forward and seeing the attacks coming her way.

"Remember what I told you during our training together, whenever some ones at a disadvantage there are always different ways to overcome it or break through it. Well I can break through this and this isn't the first time where I've been at a disadvantage and it won't be the last either. So for once Cynder in your life don't worry about me have some faith and hope in your master instead of worrying and fearing for my life. After all it's the master's job to look after, care, and protect their student's lives no matter what; it's not the other way around Cynder. So just stay back and let your master take care of this alright?" Scarlett said maturely to her student behind her.

"Scarlett." Cynder mumbled to herself before smiling proudly and happy for her master, friend, and future sister-in-law, "Alright, but if you need me master just give me a call or sigh okay?"

"You got it, Cynder!" Scarlett yelled out behind her to Cynder.

As the five elemental orbs on energy and power were drawing nearer and nearer to the dark red dragoness she sighed softly to herself as her light crimson eyes closed for a few quick seconds before being reopened once more as her eyes narrowed hard and clear with determination and courage as a quick thought just crossed her mind and thoughts.

"I really didn't want to have to use this element power of mine here of all places, I had hope to never use this power of mine as its more of my older brothers style, but it's now time to show everyone my families heritage elemental power."

Scarlett opened her muzzle up as a white bright light started forming in her month as more and more elemental power was being stored into it as Ember's elemental spell attacks were coming closer and closer to her. Ember saw this happening and wonder what was going on with the dark red females power even Requiemas and Cynder were watching with wonder and awe. As the pink dragoness's elemental attacks very much nearing Scarlett finally let loose her own elemental power as a large beam of pure white light fired from her muzzle and it let straight through Ember's elemental spell attack and purified it instantly. This move shocked and upset the pink females mind and thoughts.

"She can use the light elements too?! Her attack not only went through my own spell it basically purified the spell instantly too. How the hell is this happening to me now?"

The other dragons who were watching and witnessing the event unfold now were either shocked or surprised that this dark red dragoness could use the light element or were in awe of the light elements beauty. Cynder just smiled to herself as the other dragons on the roof-tops the pale red male was awe struck and grinned to himself at Scarlett's surprising elemental power and its display. As Scarlett closed her muzzle shut and the white light beam was done and faded away instantly leaving only the dark red dragoness and the pink female having a stare of the eyes.

"Ember, did you really think that spell attack would actually kill me." Scarlett said sternly to the pink female as she started walking towards her which made the pink dragoness grin madly.

"No, I didn't think that would kill you Scarlett but don't forget about the other spell that I activated and put into the ground below you though." Ember said smartly to Scarlett,

The statement made Scarlett stop her walk mid-way and look down towards the ground and saw black chains appear from the ground and coming towards her with blinding speed. She knew couldn't dodge or evade it even as she felt the black chains suddenly wrap around her four legs, tail, muzzle, neck, and even the chains wrapped her large adult wings to her sides tightly giving the dark red female a prison look of capture which made the sight of Scarlett in chains even better for Ember as she just smiled evilly and crazy like.

"Scarlett!" Cynder and Requiemas yelled out in worry and terror as the dark red dragoness was struggling to stand or even move as her thoughts ran wild.

"Damn her, she must have used the other and last powerful spell of hers when her two front paws made contact with the ground. The Chain Spell requires time to active and once it's activated it holds the users opponents down and stops them from moving making it easier for them to go in for the kill or capture. I have to hand it to Ember though; she's a lot smarter than she looks."

"It seems to me Scarlett that you appear to be stuck in place, ha ha ha." Ember said smartly to Scarlett.

The statement made Scarlett mad as hell so with all her strength she pulled her right paw up which made the chain loose before grabbed it and then shattering it into pieces as Ember stopped laughing and became more serious and watched the sight of the dark red dragoness breaking and shattering the black chain before her as Scarlett grabbed the chain that was wrapped around her dark red scaled muzzle and ripped it off before clenching the chain in her right paw and claws again that closed tightly around it as the black chain was once more shattered again.

"So you can break the black chains that are holding you down now, I have to say I'm impressed by your show of strength Scarlett, but don't forget the more chains you break the more the chains will appear and wrap around you until your bound and can no longer move." Ember said intelligently and coldly to Scarlett.

Just like Ember had said two more black chains appeared from the ground and once more wrapped tightly around dark red females muzzle and right paw as it was forced to the ground this time by spells unstoppable strength and will. As this was happening to the dark red female, behind Scarlett the black dragoness Cynder decide it was time to make a move now before things got even worse, but before she could make her move she saw a shadow fly overhead and land in front of Scarlett with grace and pride. The pale red male dragon that landed and snarled and growled at Ember with anger and despair, Scarlett looked up a just a bit and saw the very dragon that broke and wounded her heart.

"Requiemas, what the hell is he even doing here in the first place?"

"It's been a while since I last saw you Scarlett. I think you can use some help now, hmmm." Requiemas said smartly to the dark red dragoness behind him who just snarled right back at him in return.

"Requiemas, you're such a smartass." Scarlett thought sarcastically.
