Yeah, I know what you thinking how hard can it be to find something blue in the middle of nowhere.
Well, the answer is it's next to impossible and the worst part was that I was out there so long that I had completely lost any sense of direction.
So I did the only thing that's worked for me so far, meaning that I took out the dice and rolled it, and it landed next to the blue rock I was looking for.
As for the number it landed on, it landed on a three.
Normally I would have followed whatever outcome the dice said but let's be honest here a three isn't anything good.
So I did the only sensible thing I could think of at the moment and ignored the dice.
What a fool I was, because had I bothered to write a little bit longer I would have met the search team the bartender sent to bring me back because I was taking so long to do a simple job meant for children.
So there I was walking around like an idiot and the only reason I stopped walking, was because I was exhausted.
It was the first time I had seen a clear night sky, so with nothing better to do, I decided to take out all of the toys I had bought the day before.
Now I have to remind you that this whole thing makes no sense.
As I opened the bag I found that it was somehow bigger on the inside.
Regardless of that, I reached in and pulled out a lot of things.
Pieces of armor that didn't match each other.
What I mean is that I had a breastplate but it was silver, while the wrist guards were bronze and the rest of the armor only protected my knees, shins, and top parts of my feet.
It was better than nothing and even though I didn't have a sword it didn't matter because I didn't know how to use one.
So I put on the armor and kept on looking for anything useful.
And I found myself being the proud owner of some frying pans, a couple of books, empty glass bottles, and a gun that had no bullets.
Unfortunately, I had no food to cook, the empty bottles were well empty, and a gun with no bullets was better than nothing.
That just left me with the books and they are glowing.
None of them had anything that resembled some sort of title or design, so I opened them one by one and found that every single one of them was empty.
I should have closed them, but in my defense how was I supposed to know what happened if I didn't.
You see the world is filled with all sorts of magic, magic that has to go somewhere even if it's not being used.
Luckily for it, it found a group of empty books and do it rushed into the empty pages and wrote itself or themselves, into the blank page.
So I watched as a bunch of lights, and hows swirled around and enter the books before leaving me with wide eyes after it all ended.
After the shock of what I had just seen left me, I quickly began to search through the books and found them filled with all sorts of things.
One book was filled with all sorts of spells, the other was filled with the history of the spell and best of all it was all written on the same number page as the spell in the other book.
The third book was filled with the names of heroes and their gods, while the last book was filled with information about magic items and where I could find them.
Looking back now I should have known there was a catch but the only thing I could think of was hey is there a spell for me to get enough water so that I'm not thirsty anymore.
So the book answered and I drank enough water to forget that I hadn't eaten anything either.
