![]() Author has written 37 stories for Yu-Gi-Oh, Demon Diary, Yu Yu Hakusho, Dragon Knights, Legacy of Kain, Good Omens, Invader Zim, and X-Men. UPDATES: My laptop, which had the plans for everything I was writing on it, exploded. I'm not quite sure what to do about that yet. About me: Does anyone ever read these things? Well, for anyone curious enough not to skip straight to the fics... I'm 22 years old, a girl, English and I run a comic shop (a really small, really crap one which is now online) called Black Box. Yes, all on my own. Which is why I never have any money. Ah, the joy of being a single, self-employed female with no credit cards. Yes, that is self pity. What else? I don't drive, because cars freak me out. Not nearly as much as phones, which terrify me. I have a mobile because I absolutely have to (for work and all...), but I refuse to switch it on. This really voids the point of having it in the first place, but I find that when it's active people tend to call me. I like to cook, I find it calming. I liked gardening for a while, but I think I may have been having a very quiet breakdown. I'm single, because relationships unnerve me and I'm very stubborn. As for pairings and things, here are the current ones. Seto Kaiba/Yami Bakura - I have a hard time writing anything else now, since I've managed to convince myself that they're a perfect match. Yami Marik/Ryou - They seem to fit well together in my head, and that's where it counts, I suppose. Malik/Otogi - I can't see either of them being straight or with anyone else. Besides, picturing them clothes shopping amuses me. Being a die hard Bakura fan, I don't like Yami very much. He seems to become the default bad guy in a lot of my fics, even when I don't mean him to. And, since I dislike him, I tend to dislike Jounouchi, Anzu and Honda as well. Although, Jounouchi has his moments, if I'm in the mood. That said, Yugioh: The Abridged Series is wonderful and makes me like Yami again when I watch it. If you haven't seen it, look it up and go watch. Benton Fraser/Ray Kowalski - Due South. Yes, I know. I don't care. It's become an obsession, and Callum Keith Rennie (Ray) is very pretty (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3S59wg51mDk). Besides, I like his accent. It's a crime that show never became full blown slash, since it's well on the way there anyway. I'll be content with the fact that Fraser and Ray ride off into the Canadian wilds together in the last episode. Comedy is never a bad thing, either. Yusuke/Hiei - Yu Yu Hakusho. I've written a Kurama/Hiei, and now I hate that pairing. Something about Kurama annoys me, which will probably get me dark looks from the majority of YYH fangirls. I find Hiei a lot more interesting. Wolverine (Logan)/Gambit (Remy Lebeau) - X-men. I can't help disliking Rogue over the whole Antarctica thing, but I like Remy as the outcast with the tragic past. I'm also a sucker for Age of Apocalypse Nightcrawler/Gambit and Magneto/Gambit. Cable/Deadpool - I know it's sick. I don't care. Deadpool makes me laugh, and the in-canon fantasies he has about Cable are hardly helping. Murdoc/2D - Gorillaz. Yes, the band. No, I don't know why I like it, either. Patriotism? Nathan Explosion/Toki Wartooth - Metalocalypse. As a metal fan, this cartoon makes me grin and want to write something brutal. Messiah/Chihaya - Earthian. Chihaya is in dire need of Valium and Messiah is dead, but I still prefer him over Kagetsuya. Kagetsuya is smug. Cid/Vincent - Final Fantasy 7. This pairing makes me all happy and fuzzy, because I'm convinced all Vincent needs is a hug. That and Cid is wonderful. Jayne/Mal - Firefly/Serenity. Nathan Fillion (Mal) is on a par with Callum Keith Rennie and Hugh Jackman in my favourite actors list. And Jayne just makes me laugh. Slash/Duff - Guns 'n' Roses/Velvet Revolver. Do I really need to explain myself here? There should be some kind of super group with James Hetfield and Mustaine. Except they'd kill each other. That or I'd die from happiness. Kain/Raziel - Soul Reaver/Legacy of Kain. Raziel can make having no bottom jaw look attractive, which confuses me greatly. There, that's a good enough list. Plus it'll help me remember what I like. I should have some quotes or something intelligent on here, but I can't think of anything. Check out that Werewolves thing (The Winding Way) and Poor Twisted Me if you want something that might actually be worth reading. Other than that everything else I have on here is kinda sucktastic. Ok, if anyone wants anything, drop me a line at [email protected], because the email I have on file here isn't working. |
