Well, puberty can bring a lot of changes to the body. Amity got a little fat near her hips, Gus got taller, Skara got more muscular. Luz on the other hand... she's definitely her father's daughter.

Luz woke up and groaned. Puberty was kicking her ass and she was constantly sore. She got out of bed and cracked her back.

"Thank Titan I'm not still living with Eda. If I had to sleep on that floor, I would be in a wheelchair." Luz said.

Speaking of Eda, Luz had to go see her. Luz got dressed, noticing that her clothes were very tight on her.

"I'm going to need to get the tailor... again." Luz groaned, "This will be the fifth time this year."

She was only seventeen and she was already 6'8. The Healer's said she was bound to be over seven feet tall. She was in constant pain from it. She made a spell circle and teleported to the Owl House. She walked to the front door and opened it, not in the mood to deal with Hooty. She walked inside and over to the kitchen and sat down at the table. She slammed her head on the table and groaned. Without even turning around to look at Luz, started talking.

"Another growth spurt, Kid?"

"The fifth one this year. I grew a solid four inches this week." Luz looked at Eda, "Just last year I was 5'5, now I'm approaching seven feet tall."

"Come on Kid, it can't be that bad." Eda said.

Luz stood up and looked down at Eda.

"Kid... I'm wearing heels and I have to look up at you."

"I know, do you have any idea how many doors I've hit my head on?" Luz said, "I'm constantly in pain from the constant growth, I keep hitting my head, and I'm out growing my clothes in a few weeks."

"Well, this is one of those things we can blame on your dad." Eda said, "So, you want to practice magic, or did you just come over to talk?"

"A little bit of both." Luz said, "I have a double date tonight. Amity and I are going to a restaurant with Boscha and Willow."

"The two biggest couple in the Boiling Isles, on a double date? I can already see the headline tomorrow."

"What? We aren't the biggest couples on the Isles."

"Kid, I can't even count how many times I've seen 'Lumity' and 'Boschlow' on the front page of the paper." Eda said, "Now, come on. Let's go mess with magic."

Luz got up and followed her, hitting her head on the door frame.

"Mierda!" Luz rubbed her head and growled, "I'm buying a fucking helmet."

"Now I know why your pops wore a mask." Eda laughed, "It wasn't for intimidation, it was to protect his head."

Luz got the sort end of the stick, puberty for her lasted almost three years and she didn't even get affected by it until she was fourteen. It's a little unrealistic, but so is the entire series (Both What Happened and the Owl House). Don't worry, she stopped growing by the end of the year, she is 7'3 now.
